Mr. Sparks: When a student
is learning to be a hero,

their training lessons
can be very uplifting.

- Whoo-hoo!
This is great!

But, Lucita, you don't
need this wind tunnel.

You can already fly.

- This is
how I practice flying.

It's not always
as easy as it looks.

- Whoo-hoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!
[chuckles]

- Unless you have a jetpack.

[laughs]

[laughter]

- [squeaking excitedly]

- Aw, looks like Fur Blur
wants a turn.

- Oh, I'm sorry, Fur Blur,
but the wind in there

is too strong for you.

You're so lightweight,
it would push you up too fast.

- [squeaking]

[squeaks worriedly]

- Oh no!
- Fur Blur!

- Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[dramatic music]

- Gotcha!
- [relieved squeaks]

- Oh.
[chuckles]

Ay-yi-yi.

[Sparkinator beeping]

- The Sparkinator.
- There must be trouble!

- [grunts]
Oh, help!

- That boy's having trouble
with his kite.

- He's trying to pull it.

- But it looks like the kite
is pulling him.

- He needs some heroic help.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

[together]
Sparks' Crew to the Rescue.

- [squeaks]

- Yes, you can go too,
Fur Blur.

- [squeaks happily]

Mr. Sparks:
As soon as my students

got wind of the problem,

they got out into the wind
to help solve the problem.

- Oh, whoa, whoa, ah!

Ooh, flying in the wind
is tricky.

Or maybe
it's just tricky for me.

[whooshes]

The wind keeps pulling my kite,
and my kite keeps pulling me.

- Then we shall pull it back.

[both straining]

[wind howling]

- I got this.
[knuckles cr*ck]

Here, let me give it
a super strong pull.

[shouts]

- Oh no, my kite!
- Oops.

I'll get it.
[whooshes]

[upbeat music]

[sighs]

If only I was this much taller.

- I shall stop the kite.

Aw, bubbles and wind
don't mix.

- The wind is blowing
the kite that way,

pushing it fast.
- We've gotta stop it.

[gasps]

- Lucita!

I don't get it, AJ.

Why do I have so much trouble

flying in the wind,
and you don't?

- Maybe because
you have a cape

and I have a jetpack,

so there's nothing
to blow in my face.

[playful music]

Well, most of the time.

- Did you get my kite?
Did you get it?

- Oh, yes.

[triumphant music]

[music slows]

[gasps]
The kite.

[melancholic music]

- What happened?
- I'm sorry.

It was an accident.
- Oh, my kite is broken.

[upbeat music]

Mr. Sparks:
Meanwhile, Fur Blur got wind

of a different kind of fun.

- [squeaks]

- Come on, honey,
let's go get a snack.

♪ ♪

- [squeaks]

[squeaks nervously]

- Too bad the kite
got so ripped up.

- Maybe it can still fly.
Let's try it.

Here, you hold the string,
and I'll hold the kite up

so the wind can push it
into the sky.

- Yes.
- Good idea.

- Ready?

- My kite, it's broken.
[sighs]

- Yes, it is,
but we're going to fix it.

- Really?
- Yes.

- Sure.

how to fix a kite?

- No, but I'm sure
we can figure it out

- Let's start
by asking questions.

That can help us figure out
what to do.

- Okay, here's a question.

What can we use
to fix this kite?

- We should cover it
with something

that can blow in the wind.
- Ah!

Ugh, these paper napkins
have been blowing

in the wind a lot today.

- Where are they coming from?

- Um, over there.

[wind howls]

- Ooh, look.

The wind's pushing them
right out of the napkin holder.

- Hey, I just
observed something.

The wind is pushing
the napkins around

but not the napkin holder.

- Hey, yeah.

Why is the napkin holder
staying in place?

- Hm, that's
another good question.

- Probably because
the napkin holder is heavy.

- Oh, and paper napkins
like these are light.

- So wind can move light things
easier than heavy things.

- That means, for the kite,
we need to use something

that's light so the wind
can push it easily.

- I have another question.

Has anyone seen Fur Blur?
- [gasps]

Oh no, where is she?

- [gasps]
Over there!

- [squeaking happily]

- Wow, look at that boat
and Fur Blur go.

- The wind is really moving it.

- Okay, now I've got
another question.

Why is the boat moving?

It's not super light
like the napkins.

- No, but look at its sail.
See how it's puffed out?

That's 'cause the wind
is pushing it.

You know what that
reminds me of?

Thought projecting.

- My kite.

- Hey, yeah,
the wind pushes that sail

kind of like the way the wind
pushes a kite.

- You're right,

so for the kite, we need
something that's light.

- And it has to be something

the wind can push
like that sail.

- [squeaking]

[squeaks]

- Ahoy, Captain Fur Blur,
you little cutie.

- [squeaks happily]

[squeaks nervously]

- Oh, no,
the wind's pushing her away.

She could get lost at sea.
- She's on a lake.

- Then she could
get lost at lake.

Oh, someone has to catch
that sailboat.

- I'll get it.

- [squeaking]

[dramatic music]

- Oh, ah, ah!

Why do I have so much trouble
flying in the wind?

- [gasps]

Lucita, try using your cape
like a sail!

- Huh?

Aha!

[upbeat music]

It works!
The wind is pushing my cape.

- [squeaks]

- [laughs]
Look how fast she's flying.

- The wind's giving her
a turbo boost.

- She's coming for you,

- [squeaks]

- Get ready to jump, Fur Blur.

- [squeaks]

- Hooray!

- Yeah, whoo-hoo!

- Fur Blur, oh it's great to
have you back on solid ground.

- Great job, Lucita.

- It was AJ's idea
to use my cape like a sail.

Thanks--it's great to have
another flier around.

- So what about my kite?
Can you fix it?

- Yes, and I know
the perfect thing to use.

Come on.

- [squeaks]

[tires squeal]

- Right where I left it.

♪ ♪

- Presenting your new
and improved kite!

♪ ♪

- [gasps]
You used your cape?

- Yep, it's light,
and we know the wind

can push it like a sail.

- But don't you need it?
- It's an old cape.

I have a new one at home
that I can use

to help me fly in the wind.

- Oh, wow, thank you.

I bet I'm only kid with a kite
made from a real hero cape!

[laughs]

- But we still
have to test it out

to make sure it will fly.

- Testing is another
good Superpower of Science.

- [squeaks]

- You hold the string,

and I'll hold
the kite up again.

We'll see if the wind
will push it this time.

[uplifting music]

- That's it.
- [laughs]

- Whoo-hoo!

- Whoa, look at it go!

Oh no, it's pulling me again.

Whoa, oh--
- Not for long.

Huh?

- [laughs]

That's a great idea.

- [laughs]
That's awesome.

Mr. Sparks: So the next time

the wind
is pushing you around,

it might be a good time
to go fly a kite.

[together]

Mr. Sparks: It was
a lovely day at the beach.

Not the place where
you'd expect to find a horse,

especially one
that lives in a castle.

- Do you like your castle,
Buttercup?

[imitates horse]

- Heidi, smile.

Smile, Buttercup.
Cheese!

[upbeat music]

Mommy, can we look
for some pretty rocks

to decorate the sand castle?

- You bet.
Let's go.

- Be right back, Buttercup.

- Whoo-hoo!
[laughs]

Mr. Sparks: While some were
enjoying a day at the beach,

my students were enjoying
some hero training at school.

- [laughs]

We're gonna catch you,
Fur Blur.

- Yeah, just as soon
as we can find you.

- Where are you, Fur Blur?

- [chuckles]

I'm gonna find you, furry.
[chuckles]

Where are you?

[head clunks]

[laughs]

- Remember, class, when heroes
have to catch someone,

they must look
for them everywhere,

even places where you
might not expect.

- Hmm.

[suspenseful music]

- [gasps]
There she goes!

- I'll catch her.

- [squeaks]

Sorry, Mr. Sparks.

- [chuckles]

- [squeaks]

[Sparkinator beeping]
- [gasps]

- My horse is gone!
She's gone!

- Oh no, A missing horse.
- We've got to help.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

[upbeat music]

- Oh, where could Buttercup be?

- Oh, sweetie.
[gasps]

Look, Heidi.

- We heard a horse is missing.

a little while ago,

but now she's gone.

- Aw, the poor horsey.

Well, fear not
for we shall find it.

- How hard can it be to find
a big horse around here?

- Oh, Buttercup isn't big.
She's a toy horse.

- A small horse
is lost somewhere

on this great big beach?

- Yes.

But you can find her, right?

[chuckles nervously]

- [gasps]

- Let's start
by getting some information.

- Right, the first
thing I want to know is,

what does your horse
look like?

- Buttercup is little
and yellow and really cute.

- [chuckles]
Yes.

Oh, I took a picture.

See?
There's Buttercup.

- Aw, she is cute.

- Nice sandcastle.
Did you make that yourself?

- Uh-huh.

That was the last place
I saw Buttercup.

She was in the sandcastle,

and now I can't
find that either.

[sobs quietly]

- [gasps]

Wait, that's a helpful piece
of information

'cause if we can find
the sandcastle,

we can find Buttercup!

- Okay, Sparks' Crew,
let's spread out

and look for the sandcastle
and the horse.

[whooshes]

♪ ♪

Mr. Sparks: My students
didn't horse around.

They started looking around
for the horse.

- Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[screams]

[groans]

♪ ♪

[whooshes]
- [gasps]

[whooshes]

- Where is that sandcastle?

See anything, AJ?
- Yes.

- [gasps]
Oh!

- I see lots of things,
but I don't see a sandcastle.

- Aw, too bad.

- We can't find it either.
- Or the little horse.

- It would be helpful
if we knew

what part of the beach
we should be searching.

We need more information.
- [gasps]

Maybe there's a clue
in the picture.

AJ, do you remember
what the picture looked like?

- Of course.
Thought projecting.

- Look behind the sandcastle.
There's a boat.

- [gasps]

That's a great piece
of information.

Now we know the sandcastle
was made near a rowboat.

- Okay, so if we find the boat,
we find the sandcastle,

and if we find the sandcastle,
we find the horse!

- There's the boat!
- Let's go, team.

[soft dramatic music]

[whooshes]

- Okay,
where's that sandcastle?

- It should be right here.

- A sandcastle with a horse
can't just disappear, can it?

- What could have happened?
Let's think.

Think, think...

Think...

Think, think, think.
Benny, think!

- [gasps]
I just observed something.

Benny, look at your tracks
in the sand.

- Huh?
I don't see any tracks.

- That's what I mean.
They disappeared.

Watch.

♪ ♪

- Whoa.

- The water moved the sand

and made the footprints
disappear.

- So then maybe the sandcastle
did kind of disappear.

The water
could've washed it away.

- Maybe, but how can we
know for sure?

- Let's build a model.

We can ask Heidi to make
another sandcastle,

then we can test to see
if water can wash it away.

- Great idea.

[upbeat music]

- [sighs]
Good.

Now, let's pretend
this shovel is Buttercup.

She was standing right here.

- Benny, we're ready
for the water!

- Coming right up.

- Hm, water washed away some
of the sandcastle.

- Oh, oh, whoa!
Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Uh-oh, splash alert.

- Look, the water
moved the sand

and washed the sandcastle away.

- So maybe that is what
happened to Heidi's sandcastle.

- That guy did zoom
by here earlier.

- Did Buttercup
get washed away too?

- Uh, it could be
out in the lake.

- [gasps]

I see something yellow
floating in the water.

- Buttercup!

- Fear not.
I shall get it for you.

Bubble up.
- Ooh, wow, bubbles.

- Come on, AJ.
Your arm-o-matic can help.

We've got a horse to catch.

♪ ♪

- There it is.

[dramatic music]

- Arm-o-matic ready?
- Ready.

♪ ♪

Gotcha.

♪ ♪

Oh, that's not the horse.
It's the shovel.

- Oh, no.

- Whoa!
- Oh, whoa, whoa!

- Oh, whoa!
- Whoa, whoa!

[all gasp]

- I'm coming!
Hang on!

- Hang on?
To what?

- Whoa.

[Jet Ski rumbles]

- [gasps]
Oh, no.

- Huh?
Uh-oh.

- Hey, hey!
- Hey to you, flying girl.

- Benny, we've got to go.
- [grunts]

- Grab hold.
- [straining audibly]

Whoa!

- Whoo-hoo!
- Look out!

- Huh?
Uh-oh.

♪ ♪

- Oh, dear.

Whoa!

[all gasp]

- [screaming]

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Whoo-hoo!
[laughs]

Oh, surf's up.

- Whoa, the water
is really moving him.

- Look at him go.

[upbeat music]

- [laughs]
Wow.

That was surprisingly fun.
[laughs]

- Did you get Buttercup?

- Oh, I'm sorry, Heidi.

It wasn't your horse we saw.
It was a little shovel.

- You mean that one?

[soft dramatic music]

- What?
How did that get here?

- Same way you did.
The water pushed it here.

- [gasps]
Mommy, look.

♪ ♪

- What is it?

- It's the flag
from Heidi's sandcastle.

Oh, here, look.

♪ ♪

- But Heidi
built the sandcastle

over by the rowboat.

You mean the water moved
the flag from there

all the way to here?

- Oh, this
is great information

'cause if the water
could push that little flag

all the way over here,

maybe it could push
Buttercup here too.

- Hey, yeah.
Everyone, look around.

[whooshes]

♪ ♪

I see something yellow.

This way.

- Is it Buttercup?

♪ ♪

- [sighs]
It's just a flip-flop.

I was wrong again.

[all sigh]

- [gasps]
Oh, look.

Something else is washing up!

[triumphant music]

Yippee!

- Buttercup!

You found her.

- Yeah!
- Oh, we did it!

- Yeah, go crew!
- Way to go!

- Oh, Buttercup, I missed you.

[smooches]

- Thank you, Sparks' Crew.

- Yeah, thanks for finding her.

- Aw, well, a hero
always keeps his word of honor.

Now, how about we help you
build a new sandcastle?

- Yeah.

- Only this time,
let's build it

far from the water so the waves
can't carry it away.

- [chuckles]
Okay.

Mr. Sparks:
So my heroic students

saved the day and found out

that if you lead
a toy horse to water,

things could get carried away!

[together]
