Junior got a lock on Duke's burner.

How did he do that? I have no idea.

It was very technical, and I don't understand these things

'cause I'm 40, so... let's go.

Hey. I don't know how you did that, but I'm impressed. Oh, it was nothing, sir.

I just had a hunch that Sergeant Lukela had a burner on him when he walked into the evidence room, so then I just checked the HPD's router to see if the phone connected to the station's public Wi-Fi.

It did. Then it was just a simple matter of going through the different IP addresses...

Junior. Where is he?

Oh, uh...

Waikiki Beach, sir.

All right, keep tracking him.

All right, Junior, we're almost there.

Any change in his position? Negative.

He hasn't moved since the first time I pinged him.

All right, he's probably just waiting to hand off the key.

Yeah, which means we can't go in hot.

Okay, there's an alleyway on your left.

The signal's coming from there.

All right, we got Duke's car here.

You're standing right on top of the signal.

So, where's Duke? Where is he?

The trunk, Steve.

Duke.

Steve, I'm sorry. I had no other choice.

Look, we-we gotta get out of here. Wait a minute.

Just hold-hold on. Hold on a second.

It's okay. We know about Akela, all right?

You gotta tell us what's going on, Duke. What happened?

The key they had me steal-- it was to one of these lockers.

They didn't know which one. They just told me to go to whatever number was on that key.

I opened up the locker. There was a bag inside.

I unzipped the bag. There was at least a million dollars inside, easy.

I zipped the bag back up and took it to the car.

They were going to call me with more instructions.

But when I was putting the bag inside the trunk, somebody came up behind me.

I mean, what, the kidnappers jumped you?

That doesn't make any sense. Why would somebody stuff you in a trunk? He just said wait for instructions.

Not to mention, where's the kid? Where's Akela if it was them?

Who is it?

It's them. Put it on speaker.

Do you have my money?

Kidnappers don't have the money.

I'll have Junior run a trace. All right.

Stall him. Stall him.

Look...

I'll get your money, but I haven't been to the lockers yet.

HPD is looking for me, and if they catch me, you won't be able to get what you want.

That'd be unfortunate for your granddaughter.

You have one hour. If you don't have it by then, she's dead.

I... I need to know she's okay.

Let me... let me speak to her.

Papa? I'm here, sweetie.

I'm here.

Papa, I want to go home.

It's going to be okay, ku'u lei.

Just try to be brave.

One hour.

Uh-huh.

Danny? No, not even close.

We need to figure out who else knew there was a big bag of money in that locker. Duke, how did that key end up in evidence in the first place?

Belonged to a drug dealer named Tyler Musako.

HPD picked him up the other day on a hit-and-run.

He had the key on him when he was brought in.

He's being held in Halawa, no bail.

All right, we need to go talk to this guy right now.

Already have. What are you talking about?

When? When'd you talk to him?

Right after the kidnappers called me.

Thought maybe he was involved or at least could tell me who was.

But he said he didn't know anything.

And my sense was he was telling the truth.

Duke, even if he wasn't involved, through that phone call, you tipped him off, and somebody else knew there was a bunch of money in these lockers and was trying to get their hands on it.

If I'm that guy, the second you leave, what am I gonna do? I'm gonna call somebody and tell him to keep eyes on this locker, right?

All right, we gotta look at the Halawa phone records for this morning.

Right? Whoever Tyler Musako called, that's who we talk to next.

Duke, follow us. Come on.

Oh, good.

Look, I don't know who you are, but know this:

I'm a lawyer, I know my rights, and I'm going to have both your badges.

The only thing you're gonna have is my foot in your throat if you don't shut up.

Wait a second. You're...

Tyler Musako's lawyer, right?

So?

So... your client had somebody rob a cop of a very large sum of money.

What am I telling you for? You already know that, right?

Look, even if what you're saying about Mr. Musako is true, how would I possibly know about it?

Well... this morning, Mr. Musako made one phone call from jail, and that phone call was to you.

So you either arranged to have the money stolen or you just stole it yourself.

I-I suspect I'm not the first person in this room to utter these words, but, um...

I don't know what you're talking about.

Well, we kind of think you do.

And you're gonna tell us where that money is.

Well, if you think I'm involved in this, then, uh, prove it.

Oh, wait. Uh, prisoner phone calls between a lawyer and his client aren't recorded, so...

I guess you can't.

Looks like your evidence is entirely circumstantial.

Mmm, maybe, yeah.

But what we could do is we could get a warrant, and we could dump your phone, and we could find out the name of whatever scumbag you hired to pull the job.

See, the problem with doing that is, see, by then, it'll be too late.

You see, someone else is after that money.

And they want it so bad that they were willing to kidnap a cop's granddaughter just to get it.

So, here's how this is gonna go down.

You're either gonna tell us where that money is-- and I mean right now-- or you can keep acting like a smug little wise-ass lawyer, and you're gonna find yourself an accessory to whatever happens to her.

Look at me.

Hey.

You were right.

I'll call McGarrett and set up the drop.

Place your tension rod in the bottom of the keyhole and apply a slight amount of pressure.

Then insert the pick above the wrench and push it all the way back.

Maybe this only works on TV.

Deceased?

If you're not Kosaki, who are you?

Dylan Shu.

Jerry?

Captain, is McGarrett around?

Well, he's kind of busy on another case right now, Jerry.

Is it urgent? Kind of.

I just discovered an FBI fugitive named Dylan Shu who's been hiding out in this mental hospital pretending to be a patient.

I also think he may be behind Ben Pollard's m*rder.

Jerry, this guy is bad news.

Yeah, tell me about it. Racketeering, homicide.

I'm gonna send a couple of units down there, Jerry.

Find someplace, and stay safe till they arrive.

Okay. Will do.

And, Jerry?

Oh, the door was open.

I just came in here for, like, a little minute to myself.

Okay, look, I'm not really an orderly.

Told you to mind your business.

Quit stalling.

Where are we going? Just drive.

Gotta hand it to you-- hiding out from the FBI in a mental hospital, it's pretty clever.

k*lling another patient... not so much.

Take a right.

And you-- I'm guessing orderly pay wasn't cutting it, so, uh... Mr. Shu offered you a way to make some cash.

Forging documents was easy enough.

All you had to do was keep quiet.

Of course, when Ben says he's gonna report him, Mr. Shu gets spooked.

Didn't figure you'd have to take someone out.

Stuff happens, I guess, right?

So you... you cr*ck Ben on the head, and you dump him in a ravine.

Guess that's what you're gonna do to me now, huh?

Nah.

This time, they won't find a body.

Take this left.

Hey. What are you doing?

Slow down! No, no, slow down!

Hello?

Jerry, I got a couple of units down there.

They're looking all over the place.

They can't find you.

Is everything okay?

Actually, yeah, I'm good.

That's far enough!

You come alone? Yes.

All right, wait for my word.

Nobody moves until we get that girl back safely.

Put the bag on the ground and step back.

First, my granddaughter.

I won't tell you again, old man.

You want your money?

Give me Akela. Where is she? Where is she?

Duke.

This is Captain Lou Grover.

I got an officer down at the warehouse.

Officer down. I need an ambulance here ASAP.

Hi.

Hey. I got you. I'm with your grandpa.

You're safe now. Come on, sweetheart.

Let's go. Let's go.

Junior, I have Akela.

She's okay.

They got her.

Akela's safe. Hear that, buddy?

Your granddaughter's all right.

Wow, Jerry. Smashing into a Dumpster?

That's so McGarrett of you.

I'm proud of you, buddy.

Yeah, you did really good. Ow.

Yeah, you're a total rock star.

So you think I'll get to do this undercover thing again?

Uh, slow your roll there, Serpico.

Why don't you focus on healing first?

Copy that.

Oh, hey, how's Duke?

Man, he's gonna be fine.

The b*llet wound was a through-and-through.

He'll be home in a few days.

His future at HPD is a little suspect, though.

You really think they're gonna fire him?

Knowing what they know?

They could. Yeah.

Sergeant Lukela's record is... is spotless.

That don't count for nothing?

Well, it should, but, you know, stealing evidence, assaulting a fellow officer... there's gonna be consequences.

Look, we're gonna do everything we can.

We're going to explain the extenuating circumstances to everybody, but at the end of the day, we just gotta wait and see what happens.

Knock-knock.

You have room for any more visitors?

I got special permission for someone to come see you.

Hey, how did you...

They told us down at work who you really were, what happened.

You must be pretty mad, then.

Yeah, I'm furious.

That's why I came with a get-well gift.

Hi. Hi. I'm Mila.

Hey, Mila. Hi.

This is Harris. Hey, Harris.

Um, I thought you might like this better than the hospital food.

Wait, is that... I hope you weren't kidding when you said you like my mom's chicken salad.

That wasn't part of, you know, your cover?

You kidding?

I'm a chicken salad maniac.

Oh, I like that.

Yeah... we probably should go. Yeah.

Yeah, yeah, we gotta... we gotta go see Duke.

Bye, Jerry. Thanks for stopping by, guys.

Oh. See you.

Feel better.

One, two, three, four.

Well, I guess I'll let you guys play.

I'll be back in a little bit.

Okay. I'm gonna figure out how to b*at this guy.

Good luck.

Mmm.

One, two, three, four. Mmm.

One, two, three, four.

If you're anything like me, you're gonna reach that point where you know you don't want to live like this anymore.

Only... you're not sure how to make that change.

How to live your life differently.

I'm here to tell you that you can.

I won't lie, though.

It's not easy.

It takes work.

Me, I'm... I'm lucky.

I have someone who stuck by me through it all.

It's thanks to my big sister that I'm even here today.

She saved my life.

TANI, it would mean a lot to me and everyone here if you would say a few words.

Okay.

Hi.

Um, I'm TANI Rey.

I am the sister of an addict.

Honestly, it's, um... it's not easy watching someone you love go down this road.

But I... I didn't give up on Koa, and I honestly never even thought about turning my back.

But I-I just want... I want you all to know, no matter what you think, no matter how alone you may feel...

...there's someone out there that supports you.

That loves you.

Somebody who's on your side, pulling for you to make it through this.

And I know that not all of you have siblings or parents that you can rely on.

But you have my brother.

He's pretty special.

Mahalo.
