[narrator] The babies are here to use math to solve a problem.

[trumpeting]

[kids] A square.

[trumpeting]

[kids] A triangle.

And now it looks like the moon up close.

[kids] A sphere.

What’s a sphere?

[narrator] A sphere is a three dimensional shape,

like a circle, that you fill up with air.

[all] Oh!

That’s just like my bouncy ball.

Yeah. Well, I wonder what other shapes you could fill up. Hmm.

I know that shape. Big kids, do you know?

[trumpeting]

[kids] A square.

Okay, fill it up, Math Molly!

[all] Wow!

Oh, what is that called?

[kids] A cube.

Like our blocks.

They’re not squares. They’re cubes.

Yeah, and the moon isn’t a circle. It’s a sphere.
