- I'm angelina ballerina,

And I'm so excited because today is mouseling day,

And we get to perform any kind of dance we want.

Oh.

[Grunts]

Hey.

What's going on?

Why are the doors locked?

[Muffled laughter]

Alice, are you in there?

- Knock, knock.

- Who's there?

- Cheese.

- Cheese who?

- Cheese, stop knocking and come in, already.

[Laughter]

- That's not funny.

- Why didn't he like my joke?

- I don't know.

But I thought it was funny.

- Thanks.

I think everyone should have a good laugh on mouseling day,

Don't you?

- I do.

I'm so excited about our mouseling day dance

That I don't think I'll be able to pay attention in class.

- Me neither.

Do you think I should try to make a.z. Laugh now?

- Sure.

- Hey, a.z., Knock, knock.

- Uh, who's there, alice?

- Lettuce.

- Lettuce who?

- Lettuce take our seats.

It's time for class to start.

- Well, I'm not sure I can take my seat.

Uh. Whoa.

[Both gasp]

- Are you all right?

- Uh, I'm okay.

But I could use a little help up.

- What's wrong, a.z.?

- It's my new jeans.

My cousin from new cheese city gave them to me.

He's the coolest, best cousin ever,

And I want to dance just like him.

- Why can't you?

- I can't even sit down,

So I sure won't be able to dance.

- Can't you go home and get another pair?

- There's no time.

I don't want to miss school or the celebration.

- Well, don't worry.

We'll help you figure out how to dance in those jeans.

- But first, we need to help you sit.

- [Sighs]

Um, could you do me another favor

And not tell anyone else about my embarrassing pants problem?

- We promise.

- [Giggles]

- Ooh!

- But keeping a secret like this is not going to be easy.

- Okay, class.

Is everybody ready for some warm-up exercises?

Both we're ready, ms. Mimi.

- Releve.

- [Groaning]

[All sigh]

- Plie.

- [Groaning]

- Okay, now the retire position.

- Oh, no.

- Beautiful position, girls.

- Thank you, ms. Mimi.

- Nice, nice.

You all look great.

I think you've all warmed up enough.

How about a waltz?

- Uh, ms. Mimi,

Can we do a different kind of dance today?

- What kind of dance would you like to do?

- Um, how about...

Maybe a dance where you don't have to bend.

[Gasps]

Like a robot.

We can do the robot dance.

- [Gasps]

[Robotically] I am a robot.

I like to dance.

And I know just what music to play.

- [Whispering] thank you.

Both you're welcome.

- These jeans are still so stiff.

- Yeah, sometimes that happens to new jeans.

You just have to stretch them out.

[Gasps] I have an idea.

Vici, what's that called again?

- Yoga.

Mom taught me how to do it.

You take deep breaths and bend.

[Breathes deeply]

And then you feel really relaxed and stretched out.

Breathe...

- [Inhales deeply]

- And relax.

- [Sighs]

- Angelina, do you think yoga will work on my pants?

Angelina.

- Huh?

- Do you think yoga will work on my pants?

- Pants?

- Yeah, my pants need some yoga.

Look how stiff they are.

I can't celebrate mouseling day in these things.

- Don't worry.

If yoga moves don't stretch out your jeans,

Then nothing will.

This is called upward facing mouse.

- And this stretch feels a-mouse-ing.

[All giggle]

- [Groaning]

- And then we push up into downward facing mouse.

[All giggle]

- [Groaning]

- Knock, knock.

- Who's there?

- [Strains]

- Yoga.

- Yoga who?

- Yo-got what it takes to be a yogi.

[Laughter]

- A yogi?

- A yoga expert.

[Giggling]

- [Groaning]

- Oh, hum.

Still no mouseling day laugh.

- Do you know what?

I think I've got what it takes to be a yogi.

Look how much better I can move.

My jeans have stretched.

[Cheers and laughter]

[Gasps]

- What's wrong?

- My jeans have stretched out,

But now they're itchy, really itchy.

- Itchy?

Why?

- I don't know.

But these jeans are never gonna work for mouseling day.

Both oh.

- Come on, a.z.

We can do the robot dance for the celebration.

Do you want to do the robot?

- I can't.

The only time my pants aren't itchy

Is when I'm not moving.

- Uh, what if you just move from the waist up?

[Blippy synth music]

- Oh.

See?

It looks silly, doesn't it?

- A.z., It doesn't look silly.

It looks amazing.

That's a really cool-looking dance move.

- It is?

- Yeah, look.

[Blippy synth music]

- Hey, that is cool.

You're krumping, except without legs.

- What's krumping?

- It's what everybody's doing in new cheese city.

- So you use lots of arm and chest movements?

- Right.

And the dance shows your feelings.

Like me-- I'm mad at my jeans,

So I'm dancing like this.

- A.z., Is your cousin a krumper?

- Maybe these jeans will help you dance like him.

- Hey, you're right.

If I can't move my legs, I have to dance like a krumper.

I told you my cousin was awesome.

- Hey, a.z., Knock, knock.

- Who's there?

- Ivan.

- Ivan who?

- Ivan idea

Let's krump together.

- [Laughs]

- [Giggles]

I finally got him to laugh his mouseling day laugh.

Krumping shows how I feel.

And I feel happy 'cause I've got such good friends.

What camembert academy means to each of you.

- Camembert means so much to me,

I can't imagine that one poster would ever be big enough.

[Jangly steel drum music]

- That is one groovy sound, marco.

- That's kind of weird.

It's a drum that plays a tune.

- Right.

Most drums don't have different pitches,

So they can't play tunes with different musical notes.

That's what makes the steel drum so special.

Listen.

[Pitch changes]

- Each circle has a different pitch.

- That's right.

The larger the circle, the lower the pitch.

So you can explore different approaches and styles.

- But--

Oh, no.

[Both giggling]

- So what should we do for this poster, then?

- Okay, well, I was thinking we should put frills

All around the outside

And a big tutu in the middle and some ballet slippers

And maybe some bows and lots of sparkles.

[Sighs]

So what do you think?

- Well, it's okay.

But it's not really what camembert means to me.

- So what does camembert mean to you, then?

- Music, drums, jazz, trees, and soccer balls.

- Soccer balls?

I'm not having soccer balls on my poster.

- Well, I'm not having sparkles on mine,

Or a big tutu.

- Oh, no.

What are we going to do?

We're supposed to be working together.

You stay on your side, and I'll stay on mine.

And no going over the line.

In that small space?

- Draw it smaller.

We can't give ms. Mimi this.

It's a great big mess.

- My soccer ball looks good.

- We need to start again.

Can I please have another piece of paper

For our poster, ms. Mimi?

- Maybe you should turn over the piece you've got

And use the other side, angelina.

- Okay, ms. Mimi.

- How's it going?

- Um, okay.

I wonder how everyone else is doing.

Just as you warm up before exercise,

You should warm up before dance.

You have to warm your muscles so you won't get hurt.

It's best to warm up by stretching.

You can reach for your toes.

You can reach back.

Stretch that arm now.

You can even bend backward like a noodle.

And once you're all warmed up, ta-da.

You're ready to dance.
