(cheerful music)

Hey, it's me, Blippi.

- Hi, and I'm Meekah!

- Yeah, and today we're at

Village Well Books and Coffee.

- Yup, in Culver

city, California.

- (chuckles) Yeah.

And I bet this is a great

place for us to find a book.

- Yeah, I bet you're right.

And I'm so excited,

because I love to read.

- Yeah, I love reading, too.

(sparkle sound effect)

Hey, come on!

- Yeah!

(cheerful music)

- Whoa, Meekah, there's

so many books here!

- Yeah, there really are.

Hey look, a book

about dinosaurs.

(sparkle sound effect)

(Blippi and Meekah roar)

- Oh, and look at this one,

a book about swimming.

(sparkle sound effect)

(water burbles)

Ooh, I love swimming.

- Me, too.

Wow, hey, there's a

book about monsters.

(sparkle sound effect)

(Blippi growls)

(Meekah laughs)

- I'm the monster!

They call me Monster Blippi!

- We do call you that.

- That's so silly.

Ooh, look at this one.

This book's about insects.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Wow!

Insects are really neat.

- Yeah.

Did you know caterpillars

will turn into butterflies?

- Hey, that's right.

- Yeah.

Whoa, Meekah, check it out.

An all orange book

with no title.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Hey, there's someone

else in this bookstore.

to write my story,

but I'm missing some

letters of the alphabet.

- Hm.

- Wow.

- You're missing some letters.

Well, how can we help?

- Well, Blippi and Meekah,

if you can help me find

the letters I'm missing,

then I can write my story.

- Okay, every word

begins with a letter.

- A letter here, a letter near.

- Look around, above and below.

- The things you find,

show you where to go.

- (gasps) Whoa.

Maybe this clue is saying,

if we explore the bookstore.

- It will lead us to clues

where we can find the letters.

- Yeah! (laughs)

Hey, I have a great idea.

Why don't we split up,

and then we'll find

the letters faster.

- Yeah, great idea.

Looks like we have a surfboard.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Cool surfboard, Blippi.

- Whoa, whoa.

- How did you do that?

- I'm catching a wave.

Whoa, yeah, Meekah,

you're doing it too!

- Look out, there's a

really big wave right there!

- Whoa, keep your balance.

Don't fall!

(Blippi and Meekah laugh)

Yeah Meekah!

(wind whooshes)

- Wow, Blippi, look

at all of this.

- Cool, it's a campsite.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yeah, you have everything

you need to go camping.

- Yeah, it looks like we

have a tent right here.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Ooh, cosy.

- Yeah.

Ooh, look.

- A nice chair

(sparkle sound effect)

to relax it next to the fire.

(sparkle sound effect)

- We'll start that later.

And look, whoa.

- A picnic table.

(sparkle sound effect)

- That's a perfect place

to have some dinner.

- Oh, should we make

some dinner right now?

- Yeah, what do we have?

- Let's take a look.

- Hmm.

- Let's see.

- Wow.

- Woo, we could have pancakes.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Whoa, yum!

Or a tomato and a carrot.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Ooh, there's also

corn on the cob.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Whoa, yum.

Ooh, looks like a plum.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yummy.

- Oh, some salsa.

(sparkle sound effect)

- [Together] Whoa.

- That's funny.

- Okay, what should we make?

- Ooh, there's hot dogs, tacos.

There's a lot of

good food in here.

- Yeah.

I have an idea.

Why don't we barbecue some corn?

- Yeah, that's a great idea.

- One piece for you.

- Thank you.

- One piece for me.

- All right.

Oh, and there's some

tools over here.

There's some kitchen

utensils for the grill.

- All right, thank you.

All right.

- Let's go.

- Here we go.

All right.

(Blippi makes grill sounds)

- Smells so good.

- Yeah, looks like we already

have some butter on it.

- Ooh.

Ooh, let's turn 'em over.

- All right.

- Get the other side.

- There we go.

Should we shake it a little?

Yep, yep, yep.

(Blippi laughs)

- Ooh, I love food on the grill.

- I'll go grab the plates.

- Okay.

- I'll be right back.

All right, here's the plates.

You wanna dish it up?

- Yeah.

- All right.

- One for you.

- Thank you.

- And one for me.

- Ooh, yellow corn on the

cob on a yellow plate.

- And yours...

- Bon appetit,

- Is a green plate.

- Yep.

- All right.

Well I'm so thankful that

you and I are having dinner

together as best friends.

- I know, me too.

- All right, dig in.

Mm, yum, I love vegetables.

- Me too, especially corn.

- Yeah, well, since

we're done with dinner,

shall we make s'mores?

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yes I love

s'mores for dessert.

Come on.

Okay.

- All right.

- Here's the fire.

- Okay, let me start it.

Hey, whoa, cool.

- Good job, Blippi.

All right, can I sit right here?

- Oh yeah.

- Thank you.

- Get some marshmallows out.

- Oh, right.

Oh, thank you.

- Here's a bag of marshmallows.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Put it on my stick.

- Okay.

- Thank you.

Oh, whoa.

Looks like mine is ready.

- Mine too!

- All right, let's try it.

- Mm.

- Mm.

- I love camping because

I always make s'mores

after a healthy dinner.

- Yeah, they're so yummy!

Oh, I wanna check out this tent.

- All right.

- Wow look, there's

a nice cosy blanket

(sparkle sound effect)

on top.

Let's see.

Ooh, tents are so cool.

Check it out.

It's nice and cosy in here

and it's kind of dark,

and I have this nice blanket.

Woo.

Actually, getting kind

of tired being in here.

Maybe I'll just lay

down for a minute.

My belly's nice and full.

The night sky is here.

Yeah, I think I'll just

take a little rest. (sighs)

(Meekah snores)

- Shh, it sounds

like she's snoring.

That is so silly.

I guess we should probably be

quiet so then she can sleep.

But it is so nice just

enjoying the night sky,

seeing the stars out in nature.

Wow, I love nature.

What a beautiful night. (laughs)

A sh**ting star.

(sparkle sound effect)

(wind whooshes)

(cheerful music)

(Blippi and Meekah cheer)

- That was so much.

- Yeah, what a fun day.

- Yeah.

I love children's

museums because you

get to play and learn.

- Yeah, exactly.

We learned so many things today,

and we got to use

our imagination.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yeah.

Well this is the

end of this video,

but if you wanna watch

more of my videos,

all you have to do is

search for my name.

Will you spell my name with me?

- Yeah.

- [Together] B-L-I-P-P-I,

- Blippi, good job.

Wait a second.

Meekah, how do you

spell your name?

- Oh, I'll show you.

M-E-E-K-A-H, Meekah.

- Wow, awesome.

All right, see you soon.

- See ya next time.

- Byebye.

(cheerful music)

(upbeat music)

(Blippi and Meekah cheer)

- Hey, it's me, Blippi.

- Hi, and I'm Meekah.

- Yeah, today we're

at Ranch at the Pier.

(sparkle sound effect)

- In Malibu, California.

- Yeah, here, they have a

lot of fruits and vegetables.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yeah.

Look, oh, these

look really yummy.

- Yeah, look, a really

small watermelon.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yep.

And here's a really small lemon.

(sparkle sound effect)

So cute.

- And some really spicy peppers.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Very hot.

- Wow, all of this produce

is making me a little hungry.

- Yeah, me too.

- Oh, look.

- Popsicles.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yummy.

- Whoa, Meekah!

- Hey.

- Hey Julia.

- Hi, Blippi, nice

to see you again.

- Nice to see you!

- Hi, I'm Meekah.

- Hi, Meekah, nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you too

. So what's Mom and Pop Shop?

- So we sell all

natural popsicles

made with fresh

fruits and vegetables.

- Ooh, that sounds good.

- They are.

- Do you wanna try one?

- Yes, please.

- Yeah.

- Oh no, I'm so sorry.

We just ran out.

They're so popular today.

- [Together] Oh.

- What do we do now?

- Let me think.

I got an idea.

How about we go to the ranch,

and pick fresh

fruits and vegetables

and you guys make

your own popsicle?

- That's a good idea.

- Yeah, that sounds like fun.

- Great, I'll meet you up there.

- Let's go!

- Okay!

(cheerful music)

(wind whooshes)

(upbeat music)

- Howdy, Julia!

- Yay, so glad you two made it.

- [Together] Yeah.

- Us too, this is

a beautiful ranch.

- Isn't it?

It's remarkable.

Did you know that they

rescued animals,

and it's environmentally

friendly.

- [Together] Wow.

- Animals.

That's a lot of animals.

- Yeah it sure is.

What does environmentally

friendly mean?

- Well, nothing gets

wasted at the ranch.

So all of the vegetables

that get sold at the pier,

if there's any leftover,

they feed them to the animals,

and then the animals,

nutrients, the soil,

and then the plants

grow from the soil.

- [Together] Wow.

- Cool.

- Very cool.

- Wait, so this ranch has

fruits and vegetables?

- Hey, that's what we can

use for the popsicles, right?

- Absolutely.

So I have some baskets here

where you could

explore the ranch

and get some fruits and

vegetables for your popsicles.

- Yeah.

- Cool.

- But do you know who

else loves vegetables?

- [Together] Who?

- The horses.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Horses.

- Yeah, go ahead and feed

some horses while you're here.

- We can feed some horses.

- That's so fun, let's do it!

- All right, see you later.

- Thanks. Julia!

(cheerful music)

(wind whooshes)

(Blippi and Meekah cheer)

- So excited to

feed the animals.

- Me too.

- All right.

- Look at these

beautiful horses.

- Wow.

(wind whooshes)

Hello friend, how are you?

My name's Blippi.

Would you like an apple?

(sparkle sound effect)

- Woo, a nice and healthy snack.

- All right, there you go.

- There's one behind

you, too, Blippi.

- There you go.

Whoa, look, wow.

Do you like carrots?

(sparkle sound effect)

Oh yeah, there you go.

- I think that's a yes.

(Blippi laughs)

- Wow.

Hey, Meekah, look,

they even have alpacas.

(sparkle sound effect)

Hey!

- They're so cute.

- There you go.

Are those carrots yummy?

Wow.

- Wow, they're such

healthy eaters.

- Yeah.

- Oh, there you go.

Oh, you should probably chew,

chew and then swallow all your

food before the next bite.

(cheerful music)

(wind whooshes)

- Whoa.

- Wow.

- Was that yummy?

- Yeah, I guess so.

- I think so.

- Whoa, that was so much

fun feeding those animals.

- Yeah, now I think we can find

some ingredients

to make popsicles.

- Oh yeah, fruits

and vegetables.

- Oh yeah.

Blippi!

- What?

- I have a great idea.

- What, Meekah?

- What if we made

popsicles for each other?

- That's a great idea.

- Yeah, I can pick

out ingredients that

I know you'll like.

- And I'll pick out ingredients

that you will probably like.

- Oh, okay, let's do it.

- See you soon.

- All right.

- See you later, horsey.

(wind whooshes)

(cheerful music)

Wow, look how beautiful

this ranch is.

Whoa.

Look at this plant.

This is rosemary.

(sparkle sound effect)

Ah, and it smells so good.

Well, and rosemary

is actually edible.

So that means you can eat it.

But rosemary, I don't think

would taste very

good in a popsicle.

So I'm not gonna pick it.

See ya. (laughs)

Whoa.

A lemon tree.

(sparkle sound effect)

Cool, come on.

(cheerful music)

Whoa, look at these lemons.

Yeah, these are

just like the ones

that Meekah saw at the pier.

Ooh, maybe I should pick one,

and just maybe I'll

add it to the popsicle.

Oh, all right, let's see.

Give it a little tug.

Whoa, look at it, it's

so cute and small.

And these are Meyer lemons.

Yeah, they have a little

bit of sweetness to them.

Okay. I'll put that

one right there

and then let's see,

how about this one right there?

Perfect.

Yeah.

(wind whooshes)

(cheerful music)

- Wow, I love this

beautiful garden.

Look at all of these

plants and trees.

I wonder if I can

find a fruit tree

so I can pick some fruit

for a popsicle for Blippi.

Wait a second.

Here's one right here.

This is a strawberry guava tree.

There's different

kinds of guava,

but this is strawberry

guava, which is really yummy.

Take a look, see, it's

round and kind of red.

Woo, it's so yummy.

This will be the

perfect ingredient

for a popsicle for Blippi.

I can't wait to find more

fruit and vegetables.

Let's go.

(cheerful music)

- Whoa, look at this garden.

It's so amazing.

Oh, and do you see this net

up here, and on the sides?

Yeah, that keeps all

the critters and birds

from eating all

this delicious food.

Whoa, and look at this.

Do you know what this is?

This is spinach.

(sparkle sound effect)

And it's so good for you.

Hey, maybe this would be

really good in a popsicle.

Yeah, spinach a lot of

times, is inside salads.

Yummy stuff like that,

but popsicles also can

have spinach in it.

That's so cool.

All right, that's

probably enough.

Let's see what else

is around here.

(wind whooshes)

Whoa, check it out.

Yeah, this is kale.

(sparkle sound effect)

Ooh, have you ever had

a kale chip before?

Yeah, you just

take these leaves.

Yeah, see that

that's a kale leaf,

and then you put it in the oven.

Whoa, and then it

gets all crunchy.

It's like a normal chip,

but with kale it's so

healthy and so yummy.

Hey, I bet this popsicle

is gonna be the

colour green, yeah.

So that's what we

should sh**t for,

so then she'll have a nice,

healthy, yummy popsicle.

All right, one more leaf.

There we go. (laughs)

(wind whooshes)

- Wow, look at this

fabulous garden.

We are going to find some

really good ingredients

for Blippi's popsicle.

Hey, these are beet plants.

(sparkle sound effect)

Beets are really cool

because they're super healthy

and they're yummy, and

they're really good for you.

They're especially

good for your heart.

And they're a bright

pinkish reddish colour

that will look really

good in a popsicle.

Now they're root vegetables,

so they're underground.

You have to hold onto the

leaves and pull to get 'em out.

Eh, look at that.

A nice, yummy beet

for Blippi's popsicle.

(wind whooshes)

There's so many

different plants here.

And really cool that

you can eat all of them,

like this little carrot.

Oh look, one of my favourite

fruits of all time.

Strawberries.

(sparkle sound effect)

See if I can find one

so I can show you.

Oh, here we go.

A nice delicious red strawberry.

Strawberry's a really

popular flavour of popsicles

and ice cream because

they're really, really sweet.

Should probably make sure

that this is sweet

enough for a popsicle.

It's perfect.

Let's pick some

for Blippi. (hums)

Here's a good one.

Oh, this is a really good one.

This will be so yummy

in the popsicles.

Let's go make some yummy treats.

(cheerful music)

- Hey Julia, look at what I got.

- Yeah tell me all about it.

- Well, I got some spinach.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Perfect.

- I have some kale.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yum.

- And I got a lemon.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Oh, what a cute lemon.

- Yeah, I really wanna make

Meekah a green popsicle.

- That sounds amazing.

There's not that many

green popsicles out there.

So I think you're

onto something.

- Yeah.

- Here, let's get

you an apron first.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Oh, cool.

Yeah, check out my apron.

Whoa, Mom and Pop Shop.

- Mm-hm.

- All right.

Do you know any recipes we

can do with a green popsicle?

- I do, I have one in mind.

I don't think we need

the lemon quite yet.

- Okay.

- But I think we could

use some green apples.

- Yum, can I see?

- Yeah.

- Check it out,

yeah a green apple.

(sparkle sound effect)

And do you know the

other colour of apples?

Yeah, red.

(sparkle sound effect)

Cool.

- Awesome, and

some green grapes.

- Whoa, green grapes.

(sparkle sound effect)

So yummy.

All right.

- And to add a little

bit more sweetness,

I'm gonna say a ripe banana.

- Ooh, a ripe banana,

(sparkle sound effect)

but wait a second, it's brown.

- Yeah, that means

it's super sweet.

And that's what you

want in a popsicle.

- Oh cool.

So if your banana has a

little bit of brown on it,

that's okay.

It's just gonna be

more sweet and yummy.

- Yep.

- I think that's awesome

that you wanna do

vegetables in your popsicle.

- Thanks.

(wind whooshes)

So I'm gonna go ahead

and grab the blender.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Okay.

- And then we could just put all

the fruits and

vegetables in there.

Just throw them all in.

It's a very powerful blender.

- Cool.

Okay, here we go.

- Okay, nice apple.

And then I'm gonna

add some liquid.

So anytime you use a blender,

you need some liquid.

- Okay.

- Or else it's not

gonna blend properly.

- Okay.

All right, and what

kind liquid is that?

- I have some organic

apple juice here.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Ooh, yum.

- All right.

- So excited.

I wonder if these are

actually gonna be green.

All right.

- Now, it's gonna

be pretty loud.

So you ready?

- All right, all ready.

- Three, two, one.

(blender whirls)

- Whoa, is it done?

- It's done.

- Whoa, it does look green.

All right.

- Meekah's gonna love it.

- Yeah.

- Oh, do you smell that?

- It smells so sweet.

- Yep, all right.

And now we're gonna put the

mixture in this pitcher,

so it's easier to

pour in the moulds.

- Okay.

Wow, check it out.

Oh, yummy.

All right.

- And here are our moulds.

- Oh, the moulds.

Yeah, I remember these moulds.

Yeah.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yep, that's what

we use in our kitchen

when we have our big machine.

But today we're just

making some at home pops.

So we're using our nifty

moulds for at home.

- Oh cool, at home pops.

Here we go.

Hey, do you wanna count

how many popsicles

we can make with this with me?

Ready?

One, two, three, four, five,

(sparkle sound effect)

six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

(sparkle sound effect)

- That's a lot of popsicles.

- All right, and then

we just poured in there?

- Yep.

- Would you like to do it or me?

- Sure

- All right.

- I'll do five, and you do five.

How does that sound?

- Okay.

- If we get a little

foamy, that's okay.

(upbeat music)

- Now I will pour five as well.

Here we go.

(upbeat music)

Perfect.

- Meekah's gonna be so excited

to have such nutritious pops.

- Yeah!

Okay, and that's the lid?

- That's the lid we put on it,

and then we just put

some sticks on it.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Yeah.

The sticks, cool.

All right. So every single

one of these put a stick in.

- Yep.

- Okay.

- And the great part

is when you're done

with your popsicle,

you could keep your sticks

and maybe make a birdhouse

or any type of crafting.

- Or a marble machine.

Cool.

All right.

So is it ready?

- That's all ready,

take it to the freezer.

- All right.

Yeah.

(wind whooshes)

- [Meekah] Hey Julia.

- Hi, Meekah!

Welcome to the kitchen.

- Oh thank you so much.

- What did you find?

- I have some really

yummy ingredients

for Blippi's popsicle.

I picked some strawberries.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Perfect.

- And I have some guava.

(sparkle sound effect)

- How cute.

- And I have beets.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Beets.

- Yep.

- [Julia] That's a very

interesting ingredient.

What do you think

you're gonna make?

- Beats me. (laughs)

- Good one.

- I don't know.

I just thought all

of these ingredients

would look really cool.

They could be a bright red

or pink popsicle in the end.

- Yeah.

They're gonna look amazing.

So beets are very

interesting ingredient.

So I think we're gonna have

to make an original here.

- Okay.

- So first ever popsicle beet.

- Oh, cool.

- So let's get your apron first.

- Okay, thank you.

- And let's just start

cutting them open.

- Okay.

- I think we're

gonna need to do,

is use our juicer

for this recipe.

- Oh, a juicer.

- So have you ever

seen inside of a beet?

- I think so.

- Yeah?

- [Meekah] Let's see.

- [Julia] It's a root vegetable.

- [Meekah] Yeah, I

love that colour.

- Look at that, go

ahead and smell it.

- Check it out.

- It's really cool.

It smells kind of earthy,

but also kind of sweet.

- Yeah, it's gonna

juice real well.

So we're just gonna turn it on,

(machine whirs)

You could throw

the fruit inside.

- Okay.

I see some blades spinning

there in the middle.

- Yeah, the blades

move on the middle

and just kind of

crush everything

and there's a stem,

so it keeps all of

the fibres inside.

- Whoa, look, you

can see it's pushing

all of the juice

out of the berries

right into the pitcher.

That's so cool.

- [Julia] And let's see what

happens when we add the beets.

- [Meekah] Whoa.

Smells yummy, thank you.

Okay.

There I go with the beets.

- [Julia] Look at

how dark it turns.

- [Meekah] Yeah,

what a pretty colour.

- [Julia] It smells really good.

I could smell it already.

- [Meekah] It does.

- And last but not least,

we have our guava.

- Guava!

- And we can just toss

the whole thing in there.

- [Meekah] Wow, okay.

There it goes.

- Hear the seeds.

- Whoa.

This was gonna be yummy.

- Yeah.

- [Meekah] Whoa,

that's a lot of juice.

- Now it's time for the moulds.

All right, they're right here.

- Wow.

- So these are the

moulds we use at home.

- It's a lot of popsicles.

- Yeah, Blippi is gonna love it.

- Oh yeah.

Okay can I pour?

- Go ahead.

- Okay.

- Try it out.

- [Meekah] All right,

might get messy.

- That's all of the fun.

(cheerful music)

(wind whooshes)

Okay, now to the freezer.

And once they're done freezing,

you know what we could use?

We use compostable packaging.

- [Meekah] What does that mean?

- These bags are compostable.

So here at the ranch, you know,

everything's sustainable.

We don't wanna leave

any trash behind.

So these break down

easily in the trash.

- That's awesome.

You are being so

good to the earth.

- We've tried to.

- All right, I'm gonna

put these in the freezer.

Thanks Julia for your help.

- All right.

(wind whooshes)

(upbeat music)

- [Together] Whoa!

- Wasn't that fun, Meekah?

- Yeah, that was awesome.

- Yeah.

I'm so excited to show you

the popsicle I made for you.

- I'm excited to show you

the popsicle I made for you.

- All right.

- Let's see.

- Here we go.

- Ooh, Blippi!

- Whoa!

(both cheer)

- Cool colour!

- Yeah, I really

like that green.

- Yeah, what's in yours?

- Well, I made a

popsicle for you

from beets, guava,

and strawberries.

(sparkle sound effect)

- Ooh, yum.

- Yep.

Well, I added spinach,

kale, apples, grapes.

(sparkle sound effect)

- What?

- And bananas.

- Wow, that sounds yummy.

- Yeah, I bet you'll love it.

- Yep, let's try it.

- All right.

- Here you go.

- Here you go.

- Thank you, Blippi.

- You're welcome.

- All right, let's eat.

- Here we go.

(cheerful music)

- That's really yummy.

- Yum, good job, Meekah.

- Yeah, you too.

Thank you so much.

- Thank you so much.

Wow, wasn't that so much fun,

making popsicles with

the Mom and Pop Shop?

- Yeah, at Ranch at the Pier.

- Yeah.

Well, this is the

end of this video,

but if you wanna watch

more of my videos,

all you have to do is

search for my name.

- Yep.

- Will you spell

my name with me?

- [Together]

B-L-I-P-P-I, Blippi.

- Will you spell

my name with us?

Cool.

- [Together]

M-E-E-K-A-H, Meekah.

- All right, see you soon.

- Bye.

- Byebye.

(cheerful music)

- Bye, Julia!

- See ya, Julia!

- Bye Blippi, bye Meekah,

thanks for coming.

(cheerful music)

(cheerful music)

- Whoa!

Hey, it's me Blippi.

And look, I'm riding a bike,

but my bike has a flat tyre.

(sparkle sound effect)

Oh no.

I love riding bikes.

They're so much fun,

but you can't ride a

bike with a flat tyre.

- Hey Blippi!

- Oh, hey Meekah!

This is my best friend, Meekah.

- Hi everyone.

Ooh, cool bike, Blippi.

- Aw, thanks Meekah.

- Uh oh, looks like

you have a flat tyre.

- Yeah.

I was just telling our friends

that I have a flat tyre

and now I can't ride anymore.

- Aww.

Well, good thing we're

at Spoke Bicycle Cafe,

in Los Angeles California.

It's a cafe and a bike shop.

I bet someone inside

could help you.

- Whoa, really?

- Yeah!

- Whoa, let's go!

- Yeah, let's find out, come on.

(cheerful music)

- Whoa, so you said

this place has snacks

and bikes?

- Yeah, it's a cafe

and a bike shop.

- Whoa, hey, who are you?

- Hi there, my name is Danny.

- Oh, hi, I'm Meekah.

- Yeah, and I'm Blippi.

- Nice to meet you.

- So, what do you do here?

- I'm the head bicycle mechanic

- So you fix bikes?

- I do.

- Wow.

- You're the person we need.

Blippi has a flat tyre.

- Oh no.

Well, if you follow me,

we'll get you ready to roll.

- Really?

- You can fix it?

- I can.

- All right, let's go.

- Come on.

- Whoa.

- This is gonna be great.

- Whoa, cool.

- All right.

(tools clatter)

Now I have everything we will

need to fix your flat tyre.

- Yay!

- I'm so excited.

- Oh.

- So the first thing we will do

is put your bike

into the bike stand.

- Oh cool.

Oh, a bike stand.

Whoa, this is what

you had outside.

- Oh, that's right.

- It must make it much easier

when the bike is

up high like that.

- Much, much easier.

- Smart.

- Woo, can I put the

helmet right here?

- You certainly can.

- So the first

thing we're gonna do

is remove your front wheel.

- [Together] Whoa.

- So you're gonna remove

the front wheel and tyre?

- Correct.

- Whoa.

- So we will take this

millimetre box wrench

and loosen the axle

nuts on the wheel.

- Wow.

- You know a lot about bikes.

- Whoa, look at this, whee!

- It's a bicycle.

- I would not wanna

ride a bike like that.

- I know now it's a uni cycle.

- Next, we're gonna

take a tyre lever

to remove the tyre

from the wheel.

- Huh.

So you're removing the tyre

from the wheel right now.

- You got it.

And just like that, (cross talk)

- Can I see the wheel?

Whoa, check it out, Meekah.

- Wow.

- A bike wheel with no tyre.

- Yeah, look a big circle.

- Cool.

- This is really cool.

And it's actually kinda light.

- Yeah.

Okay.

- And the next thing we're

gonna do is remove that tube,

which is what created

the flat tyre.

- Whoa, so there's a

tube inside the tyre?

Oh, can I check it out?

Whoa.

So this has a hole in it,

and this is what

was inside the tyre.

That makes sense.

- Whoa, oh, it's squishy.

- Yeah, it is.

It's like a balloon.

- Yeah, cool.

Here you go.

- So as we're now done

inspecting the tyre

to see if there's

anything stuck inside

of this that created the flat.

We're now safe to put

a new tube back inside.

- Oh, okay.

So it's just the tube

that had the hole.

- Yeah, so you're gonna

get a brand new tube.

- Yay.

Whoa.

- Yeah, it looks flat.

- Yeah, so that is

this but brand new?

- Exactly.

So what we're gonna

do is fill it up

with a little bit of air to

make it easier to instal.

- Oh.

- Whoa.

- Cool.

Look at it, it's

getting blown up.

- Yeah.

- Next, we will need

that there wheel back.

- Oh, here you go, one wheel.

- One wheel.

- Thank you.

And so we're gonna set

just one side of this wheel

inside of the rim itself.

- Okay.

- And this is where I like

to create a dinner plate.

- [Together] Dinner plate.

- I love dinner.

- Me, too.

- Whoa.

So what are you doing now?

- I'm gonna insert and

reinstall a new inner tube

to replace the compromised one.

- Wow.

- And you can see once

you have it set up

like a dinner plate,

it's easy enough to just add

it back inside of the tyre.

- Yeah, fits in nice and snug.

- And now we're gonna

reseat the other side,

just like that.

And now we have a

fully installed tyre.

- Yeah.

- So last but not least,

we're gonna put air

pressure back into the tyre.

- Wow.

- This specific tyre

goes up to PSI,

or pounds per square inch.

- Oh, can I hold

the tyre and wheel?

- Certainly.

- Meekah.

- Okay.

See if we can feel the

air being pumped in there.

- Yeah.

- Oh yeah.

- Whoa, it is feeling like

a normal bike tyre now.

- Yeah, it's really feeling up.

- Yeah, whoa.

- [Danny] So when doing this,

you always wanna read the

side of your tyre first,

before you start to

apply air pressure.

- Okay.

- [Danny] And that way you

won't overinflate the tyre.

- Oh, so it doesn't explode.

- Makes sense.

- That's right.

- Wow, now this feels

like a bike wheel

that you could ride on.

- Yeah.

- And now it is, so

last but not least,

we're gonna reinstall

this back onto the bicycle

so that you may

continue your ride.

- Yay.

- I'm so excited to

ride my bicycle again.

- Whoa, there it goes.

- Whoa.

- Good as new.

- Yay.

- Whoa.

You are such a

good mechanic, Dan.

You did that so fast.

- Whoa.

- And, voila.

- Whoa.

Thank you so much.

Whoa.

Now I can ride my bike again.

- Blippi, can I

ride bikes with you?

- Oh, that's a great idea.

But you don't have

a helmet or a bike.

- I don't have anything.

- Well the good news here

at Spoke Bicycle Cafe

is we both rent

bicycles and helmets.

- Meekah, you can come!

Oh, can I maybe use

that helmet right there?

- Indeed you can.

- All right.

- Here you go, Meekah.

- Thank you.

- All right, we just pick

out a bike out there?

- Indeed.

- All right!

- Let's go.

- Thank you so much, Dan.

- You're welcome.

- Oh, cool.

All right, see you later.

- Thanks Dan!

- Enjoy your ride.

- See you later.

- Thanks.

- Come on, Blippi.

- All right.

(cheerful music)

Yeah, so excited to see

what bike you choose.

- Look at all of these bikes.

Whoa, that wheel's really big.

- Whoa.

These bikes are so colourful.

- Yeah, I like these.

I think I'll just take this one.

- Wow, look at the colours.

- Yeah.

- Green, yellow, and orange.

- Wow so colourful.

- What did you find?

- I found some stickers, look.

- Wow.

- It says...

- [Together] Spoke Bicycle Cafe.

- That's where we're at.

- Do you want one?

- Sure.

- There you go.

- Whoa, check it out.

- Hey, that gives me

a great idea, Blippi.

- What?

- I have some other stickers

right here in my bag.

Do wanna decorate your helmet?

- That's a great idea.

Let's decorate my helmet

before we go on our ride.

- Okay.

- But you also said that they

have food and drinks, right?

- Yep, it's also a cafe.

Whoa.

- We should probably get

hydrated before we go on a ride.

That's.

- A great idea.

Hey.

- Hello. We're about

to go on a bike ride.

Yeah.

- We're looking for some

refreshing drinks before we go.

Yeah.

- Do you have any water?

- Whoa.

- For you. No thank you.

Woo.

Whoa.

- Yeah. Look at all this stuff.

Whoa.

- Such great craft supplies.

- Yeah. Let's

decorate your helmet.

- All right.

I love decorating.

- Yeah. This is

gonna be so much fun.

Yeah. It's like we

have some stickers.

- Woo.

- Look. A little star.

- Yeah. Which one is that?

Gold. Gold.

Woo. We have silver too.

- Hey, peel out.

- It's a little

tricky to peel it off.

How about one right there? Nice.

- I'm gonna put one here. Woo.

- Orange tape. One of my

two favourite colours.

- I knew you were gonna

pick the orange tape.

- Yeah.

- Whoa. And these are

really cool stickers.

- Whoa.

All wow.

- Look underwater.

Sea creatures.

- Wow. Cool.

What animal are you gonna pick?

- Ooh. What about this

really fun dolphin.

Can I put it right here

on the orange tea? Sure.

- Wow.

Cool. Orange and blue together.

My two favourite colours. Yeah.

Whoa, woo.

- Really like this walrus.

- Whoa.

Yeah. Another animal

that lives in the water.

Yep. Or check this out.

Whoa.

Do you know what I'm

gonna do with this? No.

Woo.

That's a surprise.

- Do you need help? Cutting.

- Exactly.

Yeah. Thank you very much.

All right. And watch this.

Okay.

I'm gonna put it in this hole

and then I'm gonna put it out

of this and then I'm

going to tie a little knot

and I'm gonna make

really cool ribbon tail.

So then when I go super

fast, we'll fly in there.

Air that's so cool.

Maybe we should cut it just a

little shorter though. Yeah.

How about right there?

- Not, yeah.

All right. That's gonna

look really, really cool.

- Oh, thank you.

- And you might be able do we

try to make it a little curly?

- Ooh, cool.

- I dunno if we'll work with

this ribbon, but it's a trick.

All right.

This is something a grown up

can help you do to make your

ribbon.

Oh, it's not working.

- That's okay. Yeah.

Oh.

- It's different

ribbon for that trick.

- Yeah. And here's

a green marker.

Ooh.

All let's make some

squigglies on that side.

- That's a good idea.

- Yeah. You're really

good at drawing.

You should try and draw.

- I'm gonna do a big pink

part on the back. Woo.

This is.

- Whoa.

- Let me try you different.

Yeah, that would be.

- Good. All right.

One.

- Your favourite colours.

- Yeah.

Okay. And I'll work

on another ribbon.

Whoa.

It's gonna be a surprise.

What she's drawing.

That is so cute

of you to do that.

Yeah. Are you excited to

see what she's drawing?

The blue.

- Heart. Best friend.

Oh, Meekah.

Yeah.

- Okay. I cut another ribbon.

- Put the stars on.

- It. Yeah.

I just think it'll look so cool

when I'm riding really fast.

- It will. They'll be

blowing in the wind.

- Yeah. All right.

Check it out. All right.

How does this look?

- Looks very good.

- Okay. Do you think

it looks good enough?

Yeah. All right.

Let's try it on.

- Okay. Let's see how you look.

Blippi, this helmet is fabulous.

- Yeah. Well shall

we go on a ride?

Oh.

- Yeah, let's go.

- Okay. We'll come back

here later to clean up.

But now let's go

on a ride. Yeah.

- Yeah.

- Woohoo.

- This is.

- Gonna be so much fun. Yes.

This.

- Is such a great day to

ride bikes together. Yeah.

- We have cool

looking bikes. Yeah.

We drank a bunch of water.

So I think we're ready.

- I need to put up my

helmet on so nice and safe.

- Yeah.

And we decorated my helmet.

So I look real cool.

- You look so cool.

Hey, check this out.

I have breaks on my bike

in case I need to stop.

- Oh, cool.

- Cool. Back like this.

Oh yeah.

- With.

- Your hands. Yeah.

- And look at my bike. Yeah.

I don't have hand breaks. Yeah.

I have breaks when

I pedal backwards.

- That's right.

- Yeah. Are you ready?

- Oh yeah.

- Yeah. Yeah.

That was awesome. Oh.

(cheerful music)

- Super fun.

- Wow.

I love riding bikes. Me.

- Too. Yeah.

Especially with you blip.

- Oh me?

Yeah. Two people for two bikes.

- Yeah. So fun riding

bikes together.

Yeah.

What if there were a

bike? We're two people.

Good ride. The.

- Would so cool.

- What?

- Look.

- At this.

This is a tandem bike. Yeah.

- Look the two seats

on the spike. One,

two and two sets

of handlebar. Yeah.

- These handlebar up front are

for the person that steers.

Yeah. And these are the,

for the person in back.

So them, they don't fall off.

Yeah. Oh, shall we try it?

Yeah.

- Can't.

- Two people. One bike.

Here we go.

(cheerful music)

- That was so much fun.

Riding bikes with you.

I.

- Really was.

- Yeah.

- We had a great

day. Riding bikes.

- Yeah. It so much fun.

Decorating my helmet

with you. Yeah.

- It looks so good.

And I'm really happy that

you got your tyre fixed.

- Oh, thanks Meekah.

Yeah. And it's really cool.

How we learned that you need

to stay hydrated before you do

really active things

like riding bikes.

- Yeah. And riding

bikes are great.

It's good for the planet

and good for your body.

- Yeah. Well this is

the end of this video,

but if you wanna watch

more of my videos,

all you have to do is

search for my name. Yeah.

Will you spell my name with me.

B L I P P I good job,

Meekah how do you

spell your name?

Oh.

- I'll show it's M E E K A H.

- That is so cool.

All right, see

you again, byebye.
