[ Birds singing]

[ Owl hooting...]

[ Hen squawks]

Cat: boo!

[ Squawking]

All: whoa!

[ All laughing]

Little bear: this is going to be my first sleepover ever.

We'll have lots of fun playing games.

Uh-huh.

And telling scary stories.

Uh-huh.

And staying up all night long.

Nope.

Aw.

[ Knocking on door]

They're here, they're here!

Both: hello, little bear.

Hello, duck.

Duck?

Hello, owl.

Duck!

What are you doing?

Shh.

I'm here for the sleepover.

But we're not going to sleep yet.

We're not?

No.

First we have to play games

And tell scary stories.

Oh.

Okay.

What kind of games?

Little bear: you have to stick

The moustache on father bear.

I can't see.

That's the idea.

Oh, okay.

Around and round she goes;

And where duck stops, nobody knows.

Oh... Oh...

No, the other way, duck!

[ Mumbling...]

No, the other way.

Whoa, oh!

[ Softly quacking]

No, the other way.

[ Mumbling...]

Little bear: back.

Oh...

Now straight ahead.

[ Giggling] uh...

[ Both giggling]

What's so funny?

Hmm.

Oops.

Now it's owl's turn.

Well, I'm not very good at--

Come on, it's fun.

[ Hooting]

I've never played this.

Around and round he goes;

Where owl stops, nobody knows.

Whoa...!

You can do it, owl.

Oops.

[ All laughing]

Sorry.

It's all right, owl.

No peeking.

[ Hoots]

[ Duck and little bear cheer]

Owl wins, owl wins!

[ Hoots]

I did it!

[ Yawning]

[ All yawning]

Well, you all look ready for bed.

Not yet.

We didn't tell scary stories.

Hmm.

All right. One scary story

And then everyone goes to bed.

[ All agree]

One scary story.

Okay, once--

Not too scary.

Once--

But it has to be scary enough.

[ Clears throat]

One scary story.

Not too scary, but just scary enough.

Once--

And funny.

It should be funny.

But not too scary.

Once upon a time...

There was a little girl named goldilocks.

And she was lost in the forest.

Was she scared?

Not too scared.

Oh, that's good.

Suddenly, goldilocks saw a house in the distance.

Was it a scary house?

Just scary enough.

And goldilocks, who was scared

But not too scared

Decided that she would go to this house

Which was just scary enough

And see if someone could help her find her way home.

Is this the funny part?

[ Sighs deeply]

Hello, anyone home?

[ All laugh]

[ All chuckling]

Just us.

No, shh!

There's no one here.

Oh... Right.

Well, I'll just sit here

In this chair then

And wait for someone to come home.

[ All laughing]

This chair is too hard.

[ All giggling]

[ Chair creaking]

This chair is too soft.

[ Giggling]

This chair is just right.

Uh-oh.

What happened?

Goldilocks broke the chair.

[ Grunting]

[ Laughter]

[ Giggling]

So she went to the kitchen.

In the kitchen

There were three bowls of porridge.

She tasted the first one.

[ Loud slurping]

[ Giggling, slurping]

This porridge is too hot.

[ Slurping...]

Hot, hot.

Oh.

[ Slurping...]

Brr.

This porridge is too cold.

[ All slurping]

All: brr.

Mmm...

This porridge is just right.

All: mmm, mmm.

[ Yawning]

[ Yawning]

Then goldilocks decided

She needed to take a nap.

So she tried out the first bed.

[ All laugh]

But it was too hard.

She tried the second bed.

But it was too soft.

And then, she tried out the third bed.

[ Yawns]

[ All yawning]

[ Snoring begins...]

And it was just right.

[ Yawns]

[ Snoring]

[ Sighs]

[ All snoring...]

Whoa!

Your majesty, the repairs must wait.

I fear we have...

Invaders.

Invaders?

Where?

There.

You must leave the castle at once.

Oh, no.

Someone must save me!

Save me!

[ Otters cheer]

[ Snoring]

[ Otters laugh]

Put me down.

No.

We must take you to the queen.

Owl: what queen?

Whoa!

[ Grunts]

What's going on?

You are the invader.

Little bear: this is no invader.

This is the great wizard.

I am?

The wizard has cast a spell over the queen.

Duck:he has?

You have?

Yes!

An evilspell!

[ Voice rising]: oh, no, no.

You are falling into a deep, deep sleep.

You are getting sleepier and sleepier.

[ Yawns]

I feel so sleepier all of a sudden.

[ Snoring...]

How long does she have to sleep?

Forever!

Forever?

She was a good queen.

She was so fair.

She was so honest.

She was so... Yellow.

[ All laughing]

[ Giggles]

[ Snores]

We must break the spell!

You can't break one of my spells!

Yes, we can.
