[Birds singing]

[Owl hooting...]

[Hen squawks]

Cat: boo!

[Squawking]

All: whoa!

[All laughing]

[Snoring]

Wake up, wake up.

You snoring sleepyhead.

Get up and out of bed.

[Snoring]

[Groans]

[Continues snoring]

Wake up!

[Snoring]

Wake up.

You snoring sleepyhead

Get up and out of bed!

Good morning.

[Yawns]

Why are you in such a good mood?

'Cause something wonderful is going to happen today.

Oh, really?

Come on, come on

You grouchy, grumpy, grouchy, grumpy owl.

[Singsongy]: jump up, jump down

And then yell

And scream and growl.

[Growls]

I will walk with you, little bear.

But I won't yell and I won't scream

And I certainly won't growl.

Why not?

Because it simply isn't dignified.

Owls hoot.

Okay, I'll growl and you hoot.

Or I'll hoot and you'll growl?

Okay.

[Growls]

[Hoots]

[Growls]

[Hoots]

[Hoots]

[Growls]

You growled.

Oops.

[Both laughing]

[Both hooting]

[Both growling]

[Crying]

[Hoots]

Shh!

[Crying]

[Soft sobs, sniffling]

Little bear!

Oh.

[All crying]

Is something wrong?

[Crying]

We've looked everywhere

And we just can't find her.

The poor thing.

Both: who?

Our baby.

We've lost our baby.

There, there, dear.

She'll show up.

It's okay.

Can we help?

Oh, will you?

Owl and I are great finders.

Oh, thank you.

You two wait here with your other children

And we'll find her.

Right?

Right.

You fly around up there

And I'll look around down here.

An excellent plan.

Yes.

Thank you.

Thank you.

[Sniffing...]

Little bear, over there!

Oops. Sorry, turtle.

I thought you were someone else.

Hmm...

[Sniffing]

[Sniffing]

Little bear, little bear!

I see something!

Where?

[Hoots]

[Gasps]

Whoa! Ow!

[Skunk giggling]

[Groans]

Sorry.

What did you see?

The skunk.

It was right here.

It was?

[Rustling]

[Gasps]

Shh!

Don't scare it.

Okay.

You go that way, and I'll go this way.

[Giggles]

Both: oh!

[Giggles]

Shh.

Got you!

Oops.

[Giggles]

There you are.

I've never seen a white skunk before.

Interesting.

I know some skunks who are going to be very happy to see you.

[Skunk giggling]

We found your baby!

That's not our baby.

This is our baby.

[Kisses, laughs]

She came back by herself.

We're so happy to be together again.

Then who is this?

We have no idea.

We've never seen her before.

[Sniffs]

[Gasps]

Well, she is a skunk.

But she isn't ours.

She must belong to another skunk family.

You do know that your child is a rabbit.

Yes.

We adopted her.

And she adopted us.

We call her spot.

That's her name.

We really can't thank you enough.

Good-bye!

Good-bye!

Interesting.

What are we going to do?

About what?

[Giggles]

About her.

Well, I think we should adopt her.

If the skunks adopted a rabbit

Why can't we adopt a skunk?

Oh, because.

Because.

Who would look after her?

We would.

Oh, dear.

[Giggles]

Would you like us to adopt you?

It's settled.

But...

Now we have to name her.

But...

Everybody needs a name.

[Sighs]

Hmm...

Let's call you... Marshmallow.

[Giggles]

Would you like to be called marshmallow

Because you're all white?

[Giggling]

See, owl, I knew something wonderful

Was going to happen today.

Woman: there you are!

We've been looking all over for you.

[Kissing]

Where have you been?

She's been with us.

We've been taking care of her.

We really can't thank you enough.

It's time to go home now.

Good-bye!

[Kisses]

Good-bye!

Good-bye!

[Kisses]

[Sighs]

It was fun being a parent.

See, something wonderful did happen today.

[Growls]

[Hoots]

[Both hooting and growling]

[Snoring...]

[Grunting]

Careful.whoa!

Oh.

Did you want this?

Yes.

I need some ribbon, please.

Are you making something for mother bear?

Yes, it's her mother's day present.

Can you help me?

Uh-oh. [Chuckling]

[Both laughing]

[Mother bear humming]

It's mother bear.

Quick, hide the present.

[Yawning]

Morning.

Good morning.

Happy mother's day.

Thank you, little bear.

[Giggles]

What are you two doing?

Us? Um...

Nothing.

Nothing?

Hmm...

That was close.

I'll make her breakfast

While you run out and finish your present.

I'll be back soon.

[Little bear humming]

Hello, rabbit.

Hi, little bear.

What are you doing?

Just sitting.

Who are those for?

Mother bear.

It's her mother's day present.

My mother's mad at me.

Why?

I broke her teapot.

Was it an accident?

No.

Oh.

I broke it so she'd pay attention to me

Instead of the baby bunnies; now she's mad.

Oh, you could tell her you're sorry

And take her a mother's day present.

I don't have one.

You could give her these.

Really?

Sure, I'll pick more for mother bear.

Thanks, little bear.

What if I give mother rabbit the flowers and she's still mad?

She won't be.

Could you give them to her?

Me?

Yes; say they're from me.

But...she won't be mad at you.

You didn't break it.

Well, okay.

Follow me.

The baby bunnies.

Are they mad, too?

No, but they're scared of bears.

Well, I'm definitely a bear.

Hmm, that's true.

I have an idea.

There.

Now you have rabbit ears.

Fix my tail.

How do I look?

[Giggles] you look like a rabbit.

Now the bunnies won't be afraid of me.

Wiggle your nose, like this.

Like this?

That's good.

Okay.

Now hop like me.

Hop, hop.

[Laughs]

Hop, hop.

Hop, hop.

Hop, hop, hop.

Higher!

That's it.

I think you've got it.

Let's go!

[Humming]

[Baby bunnies giggling]

Careful, baby bunnies.

Oh!

Oh!

It's a little cool for swimming.

[Sniffing]

[Yelping]

[Chuckles]

You silly bunnies.

See?

They can do anything and she never gets mad.

They're just babies.

I know.

I'll give her the flowers.

Okay.

Remember, you're a rabbit.

Don't be afraid, bunnies.

It's just a nice... Rabbit.

Hello.

I have a little rabbit about your age.

I know. These flowers are from him.

Happy mother's day.

Oh, how beautiful.

He's such a wonderful little rabbit.

Yes.

Mother rabbit: so sweet

And thoughtful.

Little bear: mm-hmm.

He does such a good job

Playing with the baby bunnies.

[Giggling] hey.

They're a lot of fun.

If my rabbit were here right now

I would give him a big hug and a big kiss

And I'd tell him how much I love him.

Here I am.

Well, hello.

I'm sorry about the teapot

I know.

You knew I was here all along.

Yes, and who is this... Rabbit?

It's little bear.

Oh, is that you, little bear?

Yes.

I didn't want to scare the baby bunnies.

Whoa.

[Giggling]

But that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Can you stay for lunch?

No, thank you, I still have to pick some flowers

For mother bear.

[Nibbling noisily]

Why don't you take her these flowers?

They won't last five minutes with these bunnies.

That's true-- the bunnies will eat them up.

Thank you.

Thankyou, little bear.

[Door rattling]

Hello, little bear.

Hello, mother bear.

This is for you.

Why, little bear, what a surprise!

They're beautiful.

[Sniffing]

Mmm, and they smell wonderful.

I think you left one back here.

[Giggles]

Happy mother's day, mother bear.

Thank you, little bear.

Good-bye, little bear!

Good-bye, mother bear.

[Humming happily]

[Someone sighs heavily]

[Sighs again]

Whoa!

Oh!

Hello, duck.

Hello.

[Clears throat]

What are you looking at?

There's one leaf left, little bear.

I'm waiting for it to fall.

If I catch it...

It's lucky.

Little bear: interesting.

[Inhales]

[Blows]

Oh.

[Blows]

[Blows]

Whoo.

Hello.

Hello.hello.

Hmm...

What on earth are you looking at?

There's one leaf left, owl.

We're waiting for it to fall.

It's lucky.

Oh.

[Inhales, blows]

[Duck blows]

[Inhaling, blowing]

[Cat meows]

[Meows]

[Blowing...]

What are you looking at?

That leaf.

It's lucky.

There's one leaf left, cat.

We're waiting to catch it.

Mmm...

[Blowing]

[All inhaling deeply]

[Blowing hard...][Puffing hard...]

[Blowing, puffing]

Aw!

Oh!oh!

[Wind blowing...]

Duck: wow!

[Meows]ah!oh!oh?

[Wind blowing...]

The leaf!

Here it comes!

[All gasp]

I've got it, I got it!

Oh! Ooh!

Whoo-hoo. I have it!

Whoa! Uh!

Well... I had it.

[Meows]

[Squawks]

[Squawking...]

It's snowing!

Oh.oh, my.

Little bear: oh, hey.

[Laughs]

[Cat meows]

Little bear: got you, cat.

Cat!

[Smacking lips]

I'm tasting snowflakes!

Mmm... Sweet.

[Both grunt]

Little bear: hey!

Look at all our footprints.

Look at mine.

See mine?

Those are my footprints.

One, two, three.

These are me!

[Quacking...]

Whoo!

Wait a minute.

These are mine.

Those are owl's.

These are cat's.

And those are duck's.

Then whose are these?

Oh, I see.

Not mine.

Not mine.

Or mine.

Hmm... Little footprints.

Interesting.

Highly unusual.

Who do they belong to?

Hmm... Let's see where they go.

Oh.

Hello.

[Laughs]

I believe these belong to you.

I found it!

I found the little footprint maker!

It's marshmallow.

You don't look like a marshmallow.

No, marshmallow is her name.

Oh.

Who ever heard of a white skunk?

Highly unusual.

Isn't shecute?

My lucky leaf!

Thank you, marshmallow.

[Laughing...]

I think she wants to play.

Well... What do babies like to play?

I don't remember.

When I was a baby, I liked to play with my feet.

[Laughing]

[Duck giggles]

[Cat laughs]

Owl: whoo, whoo!

Quack, quack.

[Owl laughs]

[Little bear laughing]

[Screams]

Oh, oh!

Quack, quack, quack, quack.

Cat: oh, dear.

Oh, my, uh...

I guess when you're a baby

You can scream as loud as you want.

[Growls loudly]

[Quacks loudly]

[Howls loudly...]

[Hoots loudly...]

[Growling, quacking, howling, hooting]

When I was a baby

Everything was funny.

A funny face.

[Giggles]

A mean face.

A sad face.

A wild face.

[Laughs]

When I was a baby, someone always held me.

And kissed me.

[Kisses noisily]

And rocked me.

And gave me a bath.

[Licks noisily]

[Marshmallow laughing...]

Owl: oh!

Where's she going?

What's she doing?

Why is she doing that?

I think marshmallow wants to play

Little footprints in the snow.

[All laughing...]

Mmm...

Thank you, mother bear.
