But the Eden Motor Company was

majority owned by a corporation

that was 52 percent owned by one man.

Vincent Hawkes.

And he saw the numbers and he

saw the vote to recall the cars

and he overruled it. So

the cars stayed on the road.

And then two years

later in Austin, Texas,

on the 26th of April 2013, one of

those cars crashed, caught fire.

k*lled everybody inside.

My sister was driving.

Her husband was next to her.

Their daughter was in the back seat.
