inside the Clubhouse!

ARI: Meet Norma and Lou-Lou.

OLIVE: Ooooh...
SALLY: Whoa...

ARI: I named them
after my Aunties.

ARI: They look
just like them.

their little antennae.

ARI: Yup, there they go...

OLIVE: They sure don't
move very fast.

I have a great idea!

Norma and Lou-Lou can be our
Exploring Club mascots!

ELINOR: Ooooh

SALLY: What's a mac-sot?

ARI: [giggles] Mascot!
It's like a pet...

for the whole club!!

SALLY: Oh, I love pets.

OLIVE: And Norma and Lou-Lou
will make perfect club mascots!

They don't take up much room!

ELINOR: Okay! Now that
we have mascots,

it's time to go exploring!

OLIVE: Wait,
Explorer Elinor!

We have one more
thing to do.

ELINOR: [sigh]

OLIVE: Clean the Clubhouse!

ELINOR: Oh, right!

Our Clubhouse gives

We cleaned up the Clubhouse,

ARI: Oh, hi, Koa!

We're having a meeting of
the Exploring Club!

The Exploring Club

Has anybody seen
Norma and Lou-Lou?!

They were just here
a second ago.

ELINOR: Nope
OLIVE: Sorry!

SALLY: They're not
over here.

ARI: Norma!! Lou-Lou!!

CAMILLA: Oh no, where are they?
SALLY: Helloo??

OLIVE: Where are you?
SALLY: We looked everywhere!

ALL: [struggle noises]
ARI: Wha-oh!

ALL: [laughing]

TITO: [laughs]

TITO: That was cool!

GOAT TWINS: [giggle]
Oh my!

OLIVE: I think we have a
Clubhouse problem.

ELINOR: Yeah!

The club got bigger, but the
Clubhouse stayed the same size!

ARI: [laughs]

Norma! Lou-Lou!

Where are yooouu?

OLIVE: What are we
going to do?

GOATS TWINS: [giggling]

ELINOR: Hmmm...

OLIVE: I wonder if we
should get a bigger box?

ELINOR: That would work...

ELINOR: But what if more
kids join the club?

We'll have to get a whole new,
even bigger Clubhouse!

OLIVE: Hmm..

What if we get another box
and keep this one too?

Then we can have two
Clubhouses?

ELINOR: That could work.

ELINOR: But then, we
wouldn't all be together.

OLIVE: You're right,
Elinor...

Explorers are a team,
we need to stick together.

ELINOR: Yeah!

Hmmm...

GOAT TWINS: [laughing]

ARI: Norma! Lou-Lou!
Where are yooouuuu?

ARI: There you are!

[giggles]
Silly snails.

ARI: It's a good thing you had
those shells to protect you...

when we rolled down
the hill.

Like you have your
own little clubhouses,

just like we do!

ELINOR: Did you say
Norma and Lou-Lou...

have their own
clubhouse?

ARI: Kind of!

See, Norma has a little
tiny clubhouse on her back

and Lou-Lou, who's bigger,
has a bigger clubhouse.

ARI: I guess when
Norma grows up,

she'll need a bigger
shell too.

But, I wonder how she'll
get a bigger shell?

ELINOR: Hmmm...

ELINOR: That is so interesting!

We need more
observations!

[♪♪♪]

SALLY: [giggling]

ALL: [laughter]

ELINOR: Let's take
a closer look.

Norma's shell gets bigger by
going around in a swirly shape.

ELINOR: It goes around
one, two times.

ELINOR: But Lou-Lou's
shell goes around one,

two, three, four times.

That's a lot more.

OLIVE: One,

two,

three,

four.

OLIVE: The snail
shell winds around,

starting small and getting
bigger with each swirl.

ELINOR: I think
you're right!

When Lou-Lou was a baby, she was
probably little just like Norma.

Then as she got bigger Lou-Lou
added swirls to her shell...

to make it bigger too.

ARI: Whoa, that is so cool!

ELINOR: [gasp]

And that gives me an idea to
solve our Clubhouse problem!

We'll add on to
our Clubhouse...

just like Norma and Lou-Lou
add on to their shells.

OLIVE: Yeah.
ARI: Yeah.

ALL: [singing]
♪ Room for everyone! ♪

♪ Room for everyone! ♪

♪ Everyone is welcome, 'cause
there's room for everyone! ♪

Elinor: ♪ We have a
lot of friends, ♪

Olive: ♪ And a club that's

a bigger one! ♪

walls and windows. ♪

ARI: ♪ Like snails,
we'll get it done. ♪

ELINOR: ♪ Our Club keeps
growing bigger, we need...♪

there's room for everyone!! ♪

OLIVE: I think we've
got everything...

except the door
on the roof!

KOA: One roof door...

Done!

ELINOR: Now that's a Clubhouse
for everyone!

There's space for all
of us to fit inside,

and if we get even
more members...

OLIVE: We have lots of extra
stuff to build with...

to make the Clubhouse
even bigger.

OLIVE: Well, now we can
finally go exploring...

like you wanted, Elinor!

ELINOR: That's ok.

Norma and Lou-Lou showed us how
to add space to our clubhouse,

just like they added
space to their shells.

So we did learn
something from Nature.

And that's what
exploring is all about!

ARI: Wait! Has anyone see
Norma and Lou-Lou!!??

ELINOR / OLIVE: [laughter]

ARI: Don't tell me.

They're on my shoulder
again, aren't they?

I knew that.

OLIVE: Here ya go
Norma and Lou-Lou.

ELINOR: Explorers,
are you ready?

ARI: Oh yeah!
ALL: Ready!!!

ALL: An Explorer is brave.

we'll find!!

ALL: [laughter]

SENOR TAPIR: Who knows
what an explorer does?

ELINOR: [gasp]l An explorer
follows their curiosity!

SALLY BEAVER: An explorer

Explorers go to lots of very
interesting places,

like deep into the ocean.

SENOR TAPIR: [singing]

Oooh.

RANGER RABBIT: C'mon Elinor!

ELINOR: Coming mom!

ELINOR: I just love
the Town Picnic.

ELINOR: What should we
do first, Mom?

KIDS: [laughter]

RANGER RABBIT: I don't
know, Elinor. Let's see...

[gasp] Ooh, we can do
wood-carving with Mrs. Beaver.

ELINOR: Awesome!

RANGER RABBIT: Or...

Mr. Horse is giving
everyone hayrides.

Mr. HORSE: [effort sounds]

ELINOR: Oh, yeah!

could watch Mr. Cat..

at the dunking booth.

Deputy Mouse.

OLIVE: Ari is waiting
in line for ketchup.

ELINOR: Ketchup?

ARI: Not just any ketchup...

I'm waiting in line for Mrs.
Gorilla's super special,

World Famous,
awesome ketchup!

OLIVE: It's his favorite.

ARI: Uhhh, it's
everyone's favorite!

That's why you have to
get in line early.

I can't wait to put it
on my sandwich!

ELINOR: Oooh...
Sounds yummy.

OLIVE: Of course!

ELINOR: [humming]

ELINOR: Ummm...

ARI: We've been
here forever!

Even that snail is moving
faster than we are!

ELINOR: [sigh]...

ELINOR: [gasp] Oh...

[bee buzzing]

Ooohh.

[stomach growling]

ARI: Oh, I hope the
line moves soon,

I'm getting hungry!

I heard that Mrs. Gorilla
has a new recipe this year.

It's supposed to be even
better than last year's!

OLIVE: Well, I hope it's
worth all this waiting...

RANGER RABBIT: Hey Elinor.

ELINOR: [gasp] Hi mom,
I'm following a beeeee!

OLIVE: Elinor!

[effort sounds]

ELINOR: Olive! Ari!

OLIVE: Uh oh.

You are about to
get honeyed.

ARI: Aah!
OLIVE: Aaaah!

ELINOR: Wow.

ELINOR: That's...

so...

Interesting!

The honey is
sooooo goopy!

OLIVE: I can't... see!

ARI: It moves so slooowwly...

ELINOR: I wonder why.

ARI: Yeah...

ELINOR: I saw the bee get the
juice from the flower,

but that juice was
really watery!

How do the bees turn
something so runny...

into something so goopy?

ARI: Hmmm...
Maybe they cook it!

Like soup!

ELINOR: Yeah! Or maybe
they squeeeeze it!

OLIVE: Wait, I just saw
this in my Nature book!

OLIVE: It says here that
bees get the nectar...

that's the juice
from the flower,

and then they bring it
back to the bee hive.

ARI: Whoa!
That's cool.

OLIVE: Then the bees use
their wings to fan it,

and that takes out
some of the water...

that's inside of
the flower juice.

OLIVE: The bees turn
the juice into honey...

because it lasts longer
and takes up less space.

ELINOR: Ohhh...

so taking the water out is
what makes honey goopy!

ARI: That is awesome!
ELINOR / OLIVE: [giggling]

ALL: [giggling]

ELINOR: Hmm, let's look more
closely at these goopy things!

We need more observations!

[♪♪♪]

ALL: [singing]
♪ Some things are goopy, ♪

♪ others runny and soupy! ♪

♪ Goopy things move really
slow, ♪

♪ Runny things really go! ♪

♪ All around us we can see. ♪

♪ Things are goopy or watery. ♪

♪ In the stream or
in the tree. ♪

♪ Interesting for you and me! ♪

♪ Some things are goopy, ♪

♪ others runny and soupy! ♪

♪ Goopy things move
really slow, ♪

♪ Runny things really gooooo! ♪

ELINOR: Oh no!
OLIVE: Ah!

ARI: [jump effort]

ELINOR: Ari!

OLIVE: Are you ok!?
You saved me!

ARI: My mom always
says I'm really...

[slurping sound]
...sweet.

ALL: [laughs]

ARI: [laughs]

OLIVE: How are we going to get
all this goopy honey off you?

ELINOR: It's so gooey.

ELINOR: Hmm, I wonder...

if taking the water out makes
the honey goopy and slow...

then maybe putting water back
in will make it runnier and...

less goopy?

OLIVE: I know.
We need water!

ARI: [giggles]

ELINOR: [gasp] Taking water
out made the honey goopy,

and adding water back
in made it runnier!

ARI: Ah-ha
ELINOR / OLIVE: Hey!

ARI: Sorry!

[stomach growling]

ARI: Uh guys...

I'm glad we figured
that out,

but, can we go back
to my sandwich,

please?

OLIVE: The line
hasn't moved?

ARI: No one has gotten
their ketchup??

ELINOR: Hmmm...
I wonder why?

Let's find out!

MRS. GORILLA: Nobody
appreciates quality!

ALEJANDRO POSSUM:
But I'm hungry!

ELINOR: Mom,
what's going on?

RANGER RABBIT:
Oh hi, Elinor.

Well, Mrs. Gorilla made
her delicious ketchup,

but it's so goopy it
takes a long time...

to come out of the bottle!

ALEJANDRO POSSUM: I've
been here all day...

and my arm is
getting tired!

MRS. GORILLA:
It's worth the wait!

Fine eating takes time!

If it isn't goopy,
it isn't good!

RANGER RABBIT: I'm sure
there's something we can do.

ARI: It seems, we have a
saucy situation!

ARI: Can I try?

[effort sounds]

ARI: Huh?

OLIVE: Here, let me.

[shaking sound]

OLIVE: Whooooa...aaaa..

ELINOR: Hmm...

Ari, Olive...

I wonder if we can solve the
ketchup problem in the same way

we solved the honey
problem...

OLIVE: You mean..?

ARI: Add water to it!

ELINOR: Yeah!

May we try changing
something...

in your ketchup,
Mrs. Gorilla?

MRS. GORILLA: Hmm,

I have been working on this
recipe for a long time,

to make it delicious!

[sigh]

But I'd be willing
to let you try.

ELINOR: Yes!

what we've learned.

Ok, let's try mixing in some
water to make it runnier...

MRS. GORILLA: hmm..

ELINOR: Just a tiny bit
of water to start!

ELINOR: Hmm.
It's still too goopy.

Let's try a little
bit more...

MRS. GORILLA: Hmph.

ARI: Can I try?

ARI: Awesome, now the ketchup
can drip down faster!

ALEJANDRO POSSUM:
[chewing sounds]

ALEJANDRO POSSUM:
It's delicious!

MRS. GORILLA: Hmmph,
let me try that.

MRS. GORILLA: Hmm?

It... it tastes
even better now!

ALL: [cheer] [laughter]
