ALMA: Happy Halloween!

Make way for the Alma Train.

First stop, the front porch.

MAMI: [singing] Ghosts, bats, and pumpkins!

Such a spooky sight!

Today is Halloween and

I love this spooky night!

[witch cackle]

ALMA: Mami is way, way, way into Halloween.

CHACHO: [panting]

ALMA: Chacho?

MAMI: [in witch voice] No, no, no!

That's not Chacho.

I've used a magic spell to transform him into...

poof!

CAT-CHO!

[witch cackle] ALMA: [giggles]

ALMA: Sa-weet costume, Chacho.

Oh, I mean, Cat-cho.

JUNIOR: ROAR!!!

ALMA: Sounds like Junior's coming.

Wait '‘til you see his sweet costume!

JUNIOR: ROAR!!

I'm a Juniorsaurus!!

ALMA: Told ya it was good.

JUNIOR: I can't wait to finally go trick or treating

in my costume!

Tía Gloria made it just like mypicture.

She even got the exact blue Iwanted.

See?

ALMA: Oh, that's good.

Can we go trick or treating now?

Please?!

MAMI: Not yet.

Two more hours!

But ya know what we can do now?

Make more decorations!

ALMA: Oh yeah! JUNIOR: I'm in!

MAMI: Then lez go!

ALMA: Bing, bong! Next stop, Decoration Station!

ALMA: [train whoosh]

Wait!

I don't wanna get my costume messy.

MAMI: What about you, Juniorsaurus?

JUNIOR: No thanks.

I'm never taking off my costume!

Roar!!

ALMA: Not even for a bath?

JUNIOR: Nope.

'‘Cause Juniorsauruses never get messy.

We're super-duper careful.

MAMI: [gasps] JUNIOR: Oops.

MAMI: [chuckling] Okay, Juniorsaurus.

MAMI: [witch cackle] ALMA/JUNIOR: [giggles]

ALMA: Should my spider have two eyes...

or two thousand?!

JUNIOR: Two thousand, of course!

And my pumpkin's gonna have three thousand teeth!

MAMI: Ooh.. [witch chuckle]

CHACHO: [growls]

ALMA: I don't think Cat-cho likes ghosts.

JUNIOR: It's okay, boy, it's not real.

CHACHO: [barks]

MAMI: i¡Ay!

Oh...

ALMA: Oh, no. Your ghost is ruined!

MAMI: It is...

MAMI: [in witch voice] Or is it?

Time to work my magic and...

turn my ghost into a...

ghost-bat!

Squeak, squeak, booooo! [witch cackle]

JUNIOR: Lemme see!

ALMA: Junior!

JUNIOR: Oops.

MAMI: Whoa, careful!

JUNIOR: Sorry.

MAMI: You sure you wanna wear your costume

while we paint?

JUNIOR: Yep!

I told ya, a Juniorsaurus never gets messy.

Hm...

JUNIOR: See? Done!

ALMA: Nice!

MAMI: i¡Excelente!

JUNIOR: And look... totally clean!

Oops.

ALMA: [gasp]

MAMI: [gasp]

JUNIOR: Huh?

[gasp]

NOO!!

I splotched my costume!

ALMA: I gotchu!

JUNIOR: Oh, no! You made it splotchier!

ALMA: Sorry.

I got this!

MAMI: Hold up!

Let's pop Junior's costume

into the washing machine.

That should clean the stain.

[machine buzzer]

MAMI: [gasp]

ALMA/JUNIOR: [gasp]

ALMA: Oh no!

The splotch is even bigger!

JUNIOR: Aww.

MAMI: How is that even possible?

JUNIOR: A Juniorsaurus is mostly blue, like this!

Not splotchy orange.

ALMA: Junior, I think it's time to call...

The Dino Fixer!

JUNIOR: Um, excuse me...

who's that?

TIÍA GLORIA: [trills]

Make way for...

The Dino Fixer!

JUNIOR: Hm.

TIÍA GLORIA: i¡Alright, mi gente! My peoples!

We've got just enough time to make a new costume

before trick or treating.

Let's find that fabric of yours.

JUNIOR: And it's gotta be blue like this!

TIÍA GLORIA: Yep! ALMA: Got it!

MAMI: Lez go, people!

ALMA: How about this, Junior?

JUNIOR: Too stripey and not the right kinda blue.

MAMI: Hm.. Will this work?

JUNIOR: Too dark blue and dotty.

TIÍA GLORIA: Ooo! Sparkly!

TIÍA GLORIA: Too sparkly,

I get it, I get it.

JUNIOR: I found it!

JUNIOR: Ta-da!!

JUNIOR: Oh.

Uh...

do you have more of this?

TIÍA GLORIA: Aww, lo siento, Junior.

This is all I've got.

MAMI: That's not enough to make a costume.

JUNIOR: Aww, I can't go trick or treating

if my costume isn't right.

ALMA: No way!

Junior's not gonna miss trick or treating tonight.

Mami, can I try something?

MAMI: Sure, m'ijita.

ALMA: C'mon, Junior. I've got an idea!

ALMA: I bet we can find you a new costume.

JUNIOR: But I wanna be a dinosaur.

ALMA: I know, but maybe there's something else you'‘d like to be

just as much as a Juniorsaurus.

Ooh!

ALMA: How's this?

JUNIOR: Aw..

Not a dinosaur.

ALMA: [wind-like whooshes]

JUNIOR: I feel super...

but not very dinosaury.

ALMA: [effort] Almost, Junior!

ALMA: This pumpkin costume used to be

Junior's favorite when he was little.

JUNIOR: I like it!

uh.. small.

ALMA: Hm..

JUNIOR: I really wanted to be a Juniorsaurus for Halloween.

But if I can't be that, then I don't wanna be anything.

I'll just stay home.

ALMA: Junior can't miss trick or treating!

But what can we do about his costume?

I gotta think about this.

JUNIOR: I splotched my costume!

ALMA: Junior's costume is so messed up...

ALMA: We couldn't even clean it.

ALMA: He didn't like any of the costumes he tried though.

Except for the pumpkin...

but it didn't fit.

ALMA: Is there anything else he could be?

A cat? A bat? A ghost?

[gasp] Wait, a ghost-bat..

MAMI: [in witch voice] Time to work my magic and...

turn my ghost into a...

ghost-bat!

Squeak, squeak, booo!

[witch cackle]

ALMA: I wonder if we can turn the Juniorsaurus costume

into something else?

Oh! I know what to do!

ALMA: Hey, Junior, do you want to be a...

Pumpkinsaurus for Halloween?

JUNIOR: What's that?

ALMA: It's part dinosaur, part pumpkin.

And totally spooky!

JUNIOR: A Pumpkinsaurus, huh?

JUNIOR: Dinos, huddle up!

What do you think?

[dino whispers]

I'm not sure.

[dino whispers]

Really?

Good point.

Okay.

ALMA: What did they say?

JUNIOR: My dino crew says they want to meet the Pumpkinsaurus!

ALMA: One Pumpkinsaurus coming right up!

TIÍA GLORIA: Pumpkin.

ALMA: Pumpkin!

TIÍA GLORIA: Scissors.

MAMI: Scissors!

[scissors cutting]

TIÍA GLORIA: Dino costume.

TIÍA GLORIA: It's okay, Junior.

This plan, it's gonna work.

Know how I know that?

JUNIOR: '‘Cause you're the Dino Fixer?

TIÍA GLORIA: You know it, baby!

LUCAS: Oooo..

RAFIA: [in a spooky voice] Happy Halloween!

LUCAS: [chuckles] This is gonna be awesome!

RAFIA: Alma! Time for trick or treating!

LUCAS: Hey, where's Junior?

ALMA: He's coming.

♪♪♪

ALMA: Presenting the Pumpkinsaurus!

JUNIOR: ROARR!!

RAFIA: Whoa! LUCAS: Wow!

ALMA: Does he look good or what?

JUNIOR: Let's go!

ALMA: Next stop, trick or treating!

Bing, Bong!

Stand clear of the closing doors please.

EVERYONE: Yeah! Woohoo! MAMI: [witch cackle]

KIDS: Trick or treat!

LUCAS: Thank you!

RAFIA: Thank you!

ALMA: Thank you!

JUNIOR: Roar!!

MR HUDA: [chucking] MRS. HUDA: [gasp]

JUNIOR: Thank you!

KIDS: Trick or treat!

DOÑA CARMEN: [kisses] LUCAS: Thank you!

DOÑA CARMEN: [kisses] RAFIA: Thank you!

DOÑA CARMEN: [kisses] ALMA: i¡Gracias!

JUNIOR: i¡Gracias!

DOÑA CARMEN: [kisses]

KIDS: Trick or treat!

RAFIA: Thanks!

JUNIOR: Oooh..

Triceratops!

KIDS: [talking excitedly]

RAFIA: I'm the world's greatest trick or treater!

JUNIOR: I got candy!

And a book!

And some coins!

ROARR!

KID: [gasp]

KID: [laughs]

JUNIOR: ROARR!!

ALMA: Junior's so happy,

he's not gonna take that costume off until next Halloween!

[giggles]

JUNIOR: ROAR!!

ALMA: [giggles] LUCAS: [giggles]

JUNIOR: ROAR!! MAMI: [witch cackle]

[♪♪♪]

[Train rumbles by]

ALMA: "“The Haunted Hallway"”

ALMA: Hello?

RAFIA: Where's Frankie?

LUCAS: I dunno.

He said he'd be here.

ALMA: Hello...

Frankie?

RAFIA: Hello?

ALMA: Kinda spooky, huh?

[wall rattles towards them]

KIDS: [gasp]

[wall rattles forward]

KIDS: AHH!!

FRANKIE: AHH!!

Phew, you scared me!

ALMA: Us too!

LUCAS: That was just scary enough!

If it were any scarier

I think I would've run home!

EVERYONE: [chuckles]

FRANKIE: Yo, you kids are just in time.

Ready to set up your

[in a spooky voice] Haunted Hallway?

[evil laugh]

ALMA: Yes! RAFIA: Totally!

ALMA: We're in charge of the Haunted Hallway

at the Halloween party today.

It's gonna be super spooky.

FRANKIE: Pass.

FRANKIE: Are you still going with the

[in a spooky voice] spooky basketball theme?

RAFIA: Yep!

Great idea, right?

FRANKIE: To decorate, you can use anything from this box

or the supply closets.

Haunt it up, kiddos!

ALMA: Thanks, Frankie.

LUCAS: Yeah, thanks!

FRANKIE: I'll turn the lights on,

and let you get spooky.

RAFIA: Okay, so here's our plan:

Alma, you still good with the first section?

ALMA: Yep, I'm gonna be a ghost referee

and welcome people to the Haunted Hallway.

LUCAS: Love it!

RAFIA: And in this section,

I'm gonna be the Spooky Dribbler.

RAFIA: Dribble-dribble.

Dribble-dribble!

LUCAS: And I'm gonna do the big scare at the end!

ALMA: You sure?

LUCAS: I know, I know..

I don't usually like scary.

But if I'm doing the scaring, I don't mind!

RAFIA: Yeah. '‘Cause then you know

how much scary there is, right?

LUCAS: Mmhmm.

RAFIA: So what are you gonna do?

LUCAS: I'm gonna jump down from the ceiling

inside a giant floating basketball!

ALMA: Uh, Lucas...

That sounds a little too scary.

RAFIA: Yeah, if you did that, even I'd run home!

LUCAS: Or..

I can just pop out and say,

"“Boo!"”,

and give kids stickers and toys and stuff!

ALMA: Ah-may-zing!

Sounds like we got a plan!

This is gonna be sa-weet, and spooky!

ALMA: Everything ready?

RAFIA: Definitely! LUCAS: Yes!

RAFIA: On three:

One,

two,

three..

RAFIA /LUCAS /ALMA: HAUNTED HALLWAY!

[giggles]

RAFIA: Look! People are coming!

ALMA: Time to haunt this hallway!

[spooky music starts playing]

ALMA: [blows whistle]

Come one, come all!

ALMA: [blows whistle] JUNIOR /EMI: [giggles]

ALMA: Welcome to our Haunted Hallway!

Where the balls and baskets are spooky!

[wicked laugh]

EMI: [chuckles] Yeah!

JUNIOR: [chuckles] Sounds fun!!

FRANKIE: Yeah.. and a little scary!

ALMA: Don't worry, it's not too scary!

JUNIOR: Oh good. EMI: Oh.

ALMA: [blows whistle]

This way, if you're game!!

FRANKIE: Yo, you know I'm game!

JUNIOR/EMI: [giggles]

JUNIOR: Ooo,

look at all the bats!

FRANKIE: [chuckling] Oh,

this is so cool!

RAFIA: Alley-oop!!

[basketball dribbling]

LUCAS: Ooo...

LUCAS: Ooo...

EMI: Ooo...

now that's spooky!

EMI /JUNIOR: [giggles]

ALMA: Are we good or what?

LUCAS: Ooo... RAFIA: Eekk, eeek!

Eeek! Eeek! LUCAS: Ooo...

[basketball dribbling]

RAFIA: Alley-oop!!

EMI/JUNIOR: [gasp] Ahh!

FRANKIE: [chuckling] Oh! I didn't even see that coming!

EMI/JUNIOR: [giggles]

FRANKIE: Nice!

EMI: Mmm, look at that!

LUCAS: BOO! EMI/JUNIOR: AHH!

FRANKIE: [scream] [laughs]

EMI/JUNIOR: [giggles]

LUCAS: Here in the Haunted Hallway,

you get your trick sh*ts...

EMI: Oh, yeah! JUNIOR: Yay!!

LUCAS: And your treats!

EMI: A spider!

JUNIOR: And a ghost sticker!

JUNIOR: Thanks!

LUCAS: [in a spooky voice] You're welcome.

EMI: Yeah, that wasn't so scary.

LUCAS: [in a spooky voice] Happy Halloween!

FRANKIE: Thanks, Lucas.

That was legit! Happy Halloween!

ALMA: Sa-weet!

RAFIA: We were awesome!

LUCAS: I definitely like scaring

way more than being scared!

ALMA: Great! '‘Cause it's time to haunt more people!

RAFIA: On three:

One,

two,

three..

RAFIA/LUCAS/ALMA: HAUNTED HALLWAY!

[crowd talking] FRANKIE: Hey, thank you for coming, I appreciate that.

ALMA: Time to get spooky!

Hold up...

I have an idea.

ALMA: Hmm...

Emi said it wasn't so scary,

so maybe it would be more fun if I made it scarier?!

ALMA: Yeah.

This is gonna be sooooo good.

[spooky music playing]

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Ahhh... Ooo!

BOY: [giggles]

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Ooo..

ALMA: Boo!

GIRL: [gasp]

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Ooo!

GIRL: Oo, ah!

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Pumpkin hands!

EMI/JUNIOR: No, no, no, no, no, no, no..

ALMA: Am I scary or what?!

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Come one, come all!

To the Hauntiest Haunted Hallway!

[pumpkins clanking together]

ALMA: Uh, anyone coming?

Anyone?

RAFIA: Hey,

where are all the people?

LUCAS: Yeah? Where'd they go?

ALMA: Don't worry,

the Pumpkin Pail Monster

will get people to come in!

Be right back!

[pumpkin clanking continues]

ALMA: Oo, maybe they want to come in.

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Come to the Haunted Hallway!

[in normal voice] Or not.

[pumpkin clanking continues]

ALMA: Do you want to come to the

EMI: No thanks! JUNIOR: Nuh-uh!

ALMA: Uh... Okay.

Maybe they're too busy?

LUCAS: Alma...

Alma!

RAFIA: So...

no one's coming?

ALMA: Uh, not right now...

RAFIA/LUCAS: [sigh]

ALMA: Why isn't anyone coming into our Haunted Hallway?

I gotta think about this.

ALMA: When we started,

everyone was loving our Hallway!

EMI: Ooo... now that's spooky!

ALMA: But not anymore.

Did something change?

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Pumpkin hands!!

EMI/JUNIOR: Ahh! No, no, no, no, no, no, no..

ALMA: Oh yeah...

I did make things more spooky.

I thought that was fun.

And everyone loves spooky, right?

KIDS: AHH!!

FRANKIE: AHHH!!

LUCAS: That was just scary enough!

If it were any scarier I think I would've run home!

ALMA: Hmm, maybe I made things too spooky?

Oh!

I know what to do.

RAFIA: Maybe I'm not dribbling my basketballs spookily enough?

LUCAS: Is it me?

Should I say, "“Boo"” differently?

[in a spooky voice] Boo!

Booo!

BOO!

ALMA: Uh, I think I figured it out.

I'll be right back with more people!

ALMA: Hey, Junior!

JUNIOR: Uh..

Are you going to ask me to go into the Haunted Hallway again?

ALMA: First, I have a question for you.

Is it too scary for you now?

JUNIOR: Yes!

It's so scary!

Even before you go in!

ALMA: Would you want to come into the new,

and less scary, Haunted Hallway?

JUNIOR: Uh...

ALMA: Less scary and kinda like it was before.

And I can go with you too, if you want!

JUNIOR: Okay, I'm in.

ALMA: [in a spooky voice] Welcome to the Haunted Hallway,

where you'll have a spooky time...

without it being too scary!!

JUNIOR: Just the way I like it!

[basketball dribbling]

ALMA: Get ready, Junior. Here it comes!

RAFIA: Alley-oop!!

JUNIOR: Whoa! Wow!

JUNIOR: Spooky!

JUNIOR/ALMA: [giggle]

JUNIOR: Ooh. Um, excuse me?!

Are there any basketball ghosts in here?

JUNIOR: I'm going for the treats now...

LUCAS: BOO!!

ALMA/JUNIOR: Ahh!

ALMA/JUNIOR: [laughs]

JUNIOR: Gets me every time!

RAFIA: Soo... what'd ya think?

JUNIOR: Just the right amount of scary for me!

ALMA: Hey, Junior. Could you tell the other kids?

JUNIOR: Sure.

JUNIOR: Hey, everyone!

Come to this hallway!

It's haunted, but not too haunted!

ALMA: Little brothers are the best.

KIDS: [giggling]

LUCAS: I think someone's here!

ALMA: Let's go check it out!

KIDS: [giggling]

RAFIA: Whoa,

that's a lot of people!

ALMA: Get ready!

Cuz we've got a lot of just scary-enough haunting to do!

LUCAS: BOO!!

JUNIOR/EMI: Ahh!

KIDS: [giggles]

ALMA: BOO!

[laughs]

KIDS: [laughing]
