The Ruff Ruffman Show!

With Blossom and Chet.

Yeah!

PLUSHIE: I love you, Grandma.

[penguin caws]

Okay, viewers, here's the deal.

It's my Grandma'sbirthday today,

and that action to the max-tionplushie is supposed to be

her birthday present.

[penguin cawing]

Uh, can you getout of the way, please?

Thank you.

How did the plushieget in the middle

of a penguin enclosureat the zoo?

Anyway, I shall now ventureonto this ice rink

to rescue it from these, uh...birds.

Blossom, stand by.

Now I'll just...

[screaming]

Blossom, this ice...too slippery--

whoa, whoa whoa--to walk on!

Blossom!

[screaming]

How am I going toget my plushie back?

Yoo-hoo, Blossom?

ANNOUNCER: Buckle your seatbelts

for this year's top five shotsin curling.

What a perfect slideonto the ice,

and pow, it's hitthe other team's stone,

knocking it away.

RUFF: Blossom, you knowI don't like Cat Channel videos.

Oh, you think they hold theanswer to my plushie problem?

Hmm, you're saying

that instead of moving an objecton your own,

you can use a second object

to push the first objectout of the way.

So I can stayon the edge of the rink

and knock the plushieto the other side

with another object.

Well, okay, but what can I useto push the plushie?

Bingo!

Frozen herring.

He winds back, and nowa gentle slide of the fish.

And... that did not work.

What's happening here, Blossom?

I hit the plushie, but it barely moved.

So you think I need toslide the fish harder

so it'll hitthe plushie harder

and give it a bigger push?

Okay, here it goes.

Chet, give this onea little drama.

[drum roll]

[cymbal crash]

Uh, the plushie'sback to where it was

before I slid the fish.

Blossom, what's the deal?

You think I slid the fishwith too much force?

Okay, so that means

I slid it too hard, and it gavethe plushie too big of a push.

Okay, Chet, this timeI need to slide the fish

harder than the first time, but softer than the second time.

Here goes.

Yes!

We did it!

My herring knocked the plushiewith just enough force

to push it all the wayto the edge,

but not too much forcefor it to slide and bounce back.

Come on, Chet!

All we have to do nowis go to the other side, and...

[penguin cawing]

Hey!

Ruffie, my birthday party'sabout to begin.

I'll be over in a minute,Grandma.

PLUSHIE: [garbled]I love you, Grandma.

Uh, better make thattwo minutes.

Oh!

Quick, Chet!

Follow that truckfull of kibble!
