He's probablyjust bouncing around

on some rocks in Coral Cove.

- Sure thing, Papa.I'm on it. [giggles]

- Oh, Ripple's brother is lost?

Oh, this is not good.Not good at all.

I got to do something and help.

It's time to spread the word!

- It was dark and gooey--- Splash! Bubbles! Dunk!

Have you heard?

- Heard what?

- Oh!Big news on the reef.

- What is it, Maury?- Oh.

Big, big, big, big, big,big, big, big, big news.

- Just tell us.The suspense is making me puffy.

- Okay, okay, okay.One of Ripple's--

- One of my brothers is missing!

- Oh!- [gasps]

- Well, I would've said itwith a little more pizzazz,

but yeah, that's pretty much it,

so, uh, bye.

- My papajust called snack time,

and only of my brothersshowed up.

- Uh-oh.

Was it again?

- Sí.- "Again"?

Uh, d-d-does this happen a lot?

- Oh, he's always wandering off.

- And it takes foreverto find him!

- Yeah,like the time he was in a shell

because he wanted to seewhat it was like

to be a hermit crab.

- Once, he just rode aroundon a sea turtle's back all day.

She didn't even knowhe was there!

[laughter]

But he never missesa chance to eat.

- Well, Ripple, we'll help youfind your brother.

Right, guys?

- Absolutely.

- Aww, thanks, guys!

And I know we'll be ableto find him together.

- All right, everybody.

Finding is not easy at all.

- We must've looked everywherein Reeftown.

- I checked with Wave.He didn't go to Take-Off Point.

- He wasn't in Sandy Bed either.

- What if he's somewherewe can't see?

- Well,then we'd need to find someone

who doesn't needto see something

in order to know where it is.

- Like a shark!

They can do that!

Did I just say that?

- Dunk, that's a great idea!

- Uh, hold up.

Let's not "Dunk,that's a great idea" so fast.

Do we really wanta big shark around here?

- Sure!Hey, we should ask Zee to help.

She's a shark.

- Oh, Zee. Yeah.She's a good not-big shark.

Let's ask her.

- Okay.Come on. Let's go.

- Yeah!- Whoo!

[Zee snoring]

all: Zee!- [screams]

Ooh.[groans]

Hey, guys.

- We need your help.

- wandered off again.

We're trying to find him,and we thought

maybe he's somewherewe couldn't see.

- Yeah,and that's when I remembered

that sharks havethat special skill.

- Oh,you mean my electroreception.

All sharks have that.

- Yeah!What is that?

- It meanswe can sense other creatures

by picking uptheir electric signals.

- Whoa, whoa, whoa.But we're fish.

We're not electric.

- Well,a bunch of little things we do

can create small amountsof electricity.

Like, do you move your muscles?And have a heartbeat?

- Well, we all have hearts,

so we definitely havea heartbeat.

- Yeah, and we use our muscles

to move our fins and swim,like this.

[laughs]

- Then you give off electricity,

and I can sense that.

It's kind of likefeeling vibrations in the water.

So I can sense you,even when it's dark.

- Does that mean

that you can tellI'm way over here

even without seeing me?

- Yep.- D'oh!

- You're giving offsome good vibes over here.

- Wha--that was amazing!

- [chuckles]Now, where in Reeftown

do you think your brother is?

- Well, that's the problem, Zee.

We looked all over.

He could be anywhere.

- That may be a little tricky.

You see, I'm a small shark.

I don't knowhow much help I'll be

in a big, wide area.

- Oh.

- But I do know someonewho's really good at this,

and he can sense othersfrom much farther away.

- Well, who is it?- Please don't be a shark.

- It's a hammerhead shark.

- It's a shark.

- His name is Hamilton,

and I'm surehe'd be happy to help.

- Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.Whoa, whoa.

- Zee, are you sure about this?

I mean, hammerhead sharksare pretty big.

- And dangerous.- That can be true.

Especially if they're hungryand think you're food.

But you don't have to worryabout Hamilton.

He's my friend.

- I say we go for it.

If Zee trusts him,then we can trust him,

because I trust Zee.

- Thanks, Ripple,but first,

we need someone to stayin Reeftown and be a lookout,

just in caseyour brother comes back.

Hey, Dunk, how about you?- [exhales sharply]

You mean I get to help out and not face a giant shark?

This is the job I was born for!

You can count on me--Dunk the Lookout.

- Yeah! Lookout Dunk!- Oh!

- Whoa![laughs]

I mean "Dunk the Lookout."

- Oh.- Mm-hmm.

- Come on, g*ng.Let's go.

- Uh, Zee, are you surethis is where you friend is?

I mean, how will we find him?

- Ah, don't worry.He'll find us.

- Zee! Is that you?[all gasp]

I knew I sensed my favoritezebra bullhead shark out there.

The stripesare still looking snappy.

- Thanks.- Oh, my apologies.

I'm Hamilton the Hammerhead,

though my friendsjust call me Hamilton--

which is everyone!

- Hey, Hamilton!

This is Splash.- Hi!

- And Bubbles.- Hi.

- And this is Ripple.- Oh, hello!

- We're tryingto help find her brother.

- Zee told us that you're greatat sensing other creatures,

even if they're far away.

- That, Ripple,

is the understatementof the ocean.

I'm the best fish finderthere is.

- Really?- You'd better believe it.

My long headisn't just for looking snazzy.

It spreads outmy electroreceptors,

so I'm able to sense things

farther and deeperthan other sharks.

- So you thinkyou can find my brother?

- I know I can.As I said, I'm the best.

Now,sea horses aren't the quickest.

We should go backto where he started.

Probably didn't wander offtoo far.

♪ ♪

There are a lot of fish here.So many signals.

This will bequite the challenge!

Now, let's see, where is--[sonar beeping]

- Oh, is something wrong?- Worry not, little friend.

I've gota -degree field of vision.

That meansI can see all around me.

Up. Down.Left. Right. Backwards.

- Wow!You can see everything!

- Wait, who said that?

- Uh, I did.- Oh, I didn't see you there.

To be honest,since my eyes are so far apart,

I do have a bit of a blind spotright in front of my face.

Ripple, your brother isn'tright in front of me, is he?

- Um, no.

- Ah. That would've beenmore embarrassing

than a full-speed nosediveinto a sandy covered rock.

[laughter][sonar beeping]

Great anemones!I think I got something.

- Is it my brother?- Follow me!

[Splash gasps]

- Are you sure he's here?I don't sense anything.

- I got a lock on a little guythat's like Ripple here.

Aha! Why don't you havea quick look-see

in that cave down there?

[Splash gasps]

- ? ?

- Ripple?

- [gasps]

We were looking all overfor you!

You missed snack time.

- I missed snack time?

Ah, I was in these cavesthe whole time.

- By yourself?Why?

- Oh, because I was exploring.

You know, like my sister does.

- Well, I knowyou like to wander around,

but it's best to let someoneknow where you're going.

- Or go with friends.

- Did you find anything funin there?

- No. I was hopingto see some cool creatures,

but it was empty.

- Well, if you want to seea cool creature...

- Wow!A hammerhead shark!

That's so cool!

- I can't believewe found him so fast!

- [laughs]I knew Hamilton could do it!

- Yeah, he really is the bestfish finder in the whole ocean.

- Can you see me now?- Yes.

- How about now?- Of course.

- Now?- Huh? Where'd he go?

Missing again?[laughs]

- Thanks, Hamilton!

- Are all sharks scary?

- Today, we're gonna touchreal sharks in a touch t*nk.

You've probably heardof big sharks

like the great white shark...

♪ ♪

- But most sharks in the oceanare small.

Like the...

- Pajama shark!

- Horn shark!

- Leopard shark!

- Cat shark!

We get to touch a lot of different sharks.

♪ ♪

Some of them feel kind of smooth,

but they're not slimy.

- Their skin feels rough like sandpaper.

- Some of them are sitting still on the bottom

so we can pet them.

♪ ♪

They aren't scary at all.

♪ ♪

all: Sharks are awesome!

- Wow!There are a lot of cool sharks.

- This has been "Get Your Feet Wet"!

♪ ♪

- Hey there, Denny.- Oh, hey, Maury.

- I sure hope you're readyto clean some teeth

because I've gota pretty nice parasite for you.

Well, bad for me,but nice for you, am I right?

- Yeah, you know me.I... love those... parasites.

- You okay, little buddy?

- I'm just...feeling a little...

constricted right now.

- Oh.- Just give me a second,

and we'll get startedon your cleaning, okay?

- Sure thing.No rush.

I've got all day.

- Sorry. It's just the threeof us in here.

- Three of you?- Yeah.

[both chuckling]

- Oh, good one.

Oh!You guys find anything?

- No.- Nothing.

- Nope.- Sorry.

- Something is wrong.I just know it.

- She's not around here,but I'm sure she's fine.

- You wouldn't say thatif you saw what I saw.

- Well, then,let's go see it for ourselves.

- Yeah.- Great idea.

To Denny's cave!

- Yeah.- Okay.

- Okay, kids.

I got to warn you,what you're going to see

is not going to bean easy thing to see.

[all gasp]I know.

- D-D-Denny!- Yes, it is about Denny.

It's, uh--

- Ooh, it sounds good,whatever it is.

- Not now, Denny.And it's--waah!

Denny!You're okay!

Oh, my little buddyis safe and sound!

- Of course.- I'm just so happy to see you!

Unless...

- What?What happened?

- Well, what if this isn'tthe real Denny?

- What are you talking about?It looks like Denny.

- Isn't this one a little, uh,bigger than Denny used to be?

- You got me there, Maury.

I did grow just a little bit,which is--

- [gasps]I knew it!

I saw Denny's empty shell

sitting right wherethis newer, bigger Denny

is standing right now.

- Oh, that?That was just my old shell.

I have a new shell now.

- Okay, I went from confusedto really confused.

Denny, you can changeyour shell?

- Oh, I sure can.

Maury, do you rememberhow I said I was feeling

a little constrictedthis morning

when you came for your cleaning?

- Uh, yeah?

- That was becauseI had outgrown my old shell.

- You can outgrow your shell?

- Does that meanI can outgrow my skin?

- You're fine, Dunk.Our skin grows as we grow.

- Yeah, I wishmy shell did that,

but I was so tightly packedinto it

that when I finally shed it off,

I was able to expand in size,

which is why I might looka little bigger than I used to.

- But isn't your shellattached to you?

- It is, but once in a while,I need to shed my shell

in a process called molting.

- Oh, molting, sure.

- That sounds likeit would hurt.

Are you feeling okay, Denny?

- Thanks, Ripple,but it doesn't hurt at all.

I actually feel much better.

That old shellwas way too tight,

and this one fits just right.

- That's such great news, buddy.

Oh! Did I mentionI'm so happy to see you?

- You sure did.

Did I mentionthat my shell is still soft?

- Oh, uh, right.Soft shell, uh, got ya.

- Denny, I don't get it.

I mean, don't most crustaceanshave hard shells?

- They do, and so do I, usually.

It just takes a little whilefor my new one to harden up.

The only thing that protects meis my hard shell,

which actually ismy exoskeleton,

so until this new shell hardens,I'm pretty vulnerable.

- Don't you worry.I got your back.

I've lost you once.I'm not doing it again.

- Aw, thanks, Maury.

- I knew you were goodat cleaning teeth,

but I had no idea

that you could doall these amazing things.

- Yeah, I mean, who knew

there was a creaturein the ocean

who could shedtheir entire shell

in one big piece?

- [laughs]- Not me, that's for sure.

- I was kind of wonderingthat too.

I would love to seean old, crusty shell.

It sounds absolutely yucky.

- The shell didn't get upand walk away, did it?

- No, nothing like that.

I was all done with it,so now...

it serves a whole new purpose.

- [gasps]Hey--what--huh--hey!

Don't nibbleon my friend's head.

- Maury, it's okay, really.- Are you sure?

- Yeah. My old shell is filledwith lots of nutrients,

so many species eat the shell.

- Whoa!

So other fish eatyour old, crusty shell?

Yucky!But good yucky.

- I always knewyou were helpful,

but I had no ideathat even your old shell

helps ocean creatures.

- Speaking of helping,

I was wonderingif maybe you'd, uh,

be interestedin a little bit of a cleaning?

- Are you kidding?- [gasps]

- I got a brand-new shell,and I can't wait to break it in.

Let's clean some teeth!

- Now you're talking.

- Come on, guys!

- Bye, kids.- Okay, let's get clean.

- Maury.- Huh? Oh, yeah.

Uh, bon appétit.

Okay, so come on.Let's get cleaning.

Ahh.- Oh, my.

That is a big parasite.- Yeah, it's on the bottom.

- Hi, it's me, Zee.

So you know how people

come in all shapes and sizes?

Well, sharks are the same way.

Sure, lots of other sharks are big

and swim around the ocean to look for food,

but we zebra bullhead sharks can also

walk on the ocean floor to look for food.

And speaking of looking, did you know sharks

can also see using electroreception,

which is a sense that detects the electric energy

that comes from other creatures?

So it's like I can see you with my eyes closed!

- Oh, hi, it's Denny.

I'll bet you know lots of people

with very important jobs.

Well, cleaner shrimp like me also have a very important job.

Cleaner shrimp help other ocean creatures

get rid of dangerous parasites,

clean up their scales,

or tend to any cuts or scrapes they may have.

Sometimes they even line up to see us

at our cleaning stations.

We cleaner shrimp can even clean teeth.

So in many ways, coming to see us

is kind of like going to the dentist.

- Hey, it's me, Ripple.

How would you like to eat as much as you wanted?

Well, that would hurt your stomachs,

but Barbour's sea horses like me don't have stomachs,

which means that we're always a little hungry

and have to keep eating lots of yummy food all the time.

Sea horses have a very strong grip.

We can grab on to things with our tails

just like you do with your hands.

So if a strong tide comes in,

we just grab on to something so we won't float away.

See? Whoo-hoo! [laughs]
