Looks like princess pea is having some trouble.

Let's go see what's wrong.

Oh, why isn't it working?

Come on, magic wand.

Peas over there, peas over here.

I wish my playhouse would appear!

Playhouse, appear.

Oh, I really want that playtime palace.

Hi, princess pea.

Whatcha doing?

Well, I'm wishing for a playtime palace!

Then I'll have a little backyard palace of my own

Where I can play, and dance, and sing.

[ Chuckle ] cool.

But I can't make one appear.

Hmm.

Hi, mom!

I need your help.

Will you use your magic wand

To make a playtime palace appear?

Pretty please?

I'm sorry, sweet pea,

But I can only use my magic inside the castle.

Oh. Rules are rules.

Oh my peas.

This is terrible!

I don't know how to make my wish come true.

This is a super big problem.

And a super big problem needs us...

I'm going to wish for my very own flying carpet.

Oh, but I need the genie to make my wish come true.

Just like I need my mom

To make my wish come true.

Is why we are in this book.

Aladdin and princess pea

Both have wishes they want to come true.

We need to see what aladdin does about his wish.

To aladdin! Let's roll.

[ ♪♪ ]

Hi, aladdin. We're the super readers

And we want to talk to you.

Wow, is that your magic lamp?

Yes, it is!

I'm trying to get the genie to come out

So I can make my wish.

I want my very own flying carpet.

Pretty cool wish!

But I can't get the genie out of the lamp.

Watch.

Genie, genie, please come out.

You can slip right through the spout.

Aw, come on, little genie,

Come out of the lamp. Ugh! [ Rattling ]

Whoa!

Super readers: [ gasping ]

My lamp!

Oh! [ Laugh of relief ]

Phew, that was close.

Hah! I almost lost my la-ahh...

Ahh... Yu... Ahh...

[ Sputtering ]

[ Sneeze ]

Oh no!

I dropped my lamp!

How will I get it back?

[ ♪♪ ]

Alpha pig, to the rescue!

With my lucky letter lasso

I can climb down into this cave

And find aladdin's lamp.

We need to follow the alphabet letters

To the bottom of the cave.

Say the alphabet with me!

Hmm...

Next we need the letter "f".

Where's the "f"?

Children: there!

Alpha pig: there's the f!

Whoa, be careful!

Let's go!

Uh oh.

Hmm, now we need the letter "l".

Which one is the "l"?

Children: that one!

Alpha pig: there's the "l"!

On to the "l"!

[ Gasp ] let's keep climbing down.

Come on!

Hmm.

Now we need the letter "q".

Where's the "q"?

Children: there!

Alpha pig: there's the "q"!

[ Triumphant ♪♪ ]

Lickety letters!

We climbed down to the bottom of the wall...

All the way to the lamp!

Let's give ourselves a big thumbs up!

[ Grunting ]

Remember to keep your eyes out for super letters.

[ ♪♪ ]

Children: "y"! "I"! "T"! "L"!

"Y", "i", "t" and "l"?

Oh, yeah!

[ Snoring ]

Well, if he won't come out of the lamp,

Maybe we can go in.

But we're too big to fit in this teeny-tiny lamp!

How will we ever become small enough to fit inside?

Cue the sparkles!

Cue the music!

Princess presto to the rescue!

[ Giggle ]

With my magic spelling wand,

I can spell the word "small"

And then we can fit inside the lamp!

Ready? Wands up.

Children: "s"!

Write a lowercase "s" with me.

Like a little snake. [ Giggle ]

All: whoa!

Wait! Genie!

Well, what am I supposed to do now?

I can't make my own flying carpet.

Or can i?

Maybe I could take these scraps,

And, oh, these sticks,

And this string, huh,

And make a flying carpet myself.

Great idea, aladdin!

Okay, so I'll take these scraps.

Oh yeah, yeah, and attach this here, okay.

Ta-dah!

I made my own carpet!

Now, for the flying part...
