woman: ♪ Like to help out when there's trouble? ♪

- ♪ Oh, you bet, I'm Benny Bubbles! ♪

man: ♪ Teleport in no time flat? ♪

- ♪ Sara Snap can, just like that! ♪

woman: ♪ Use super tools to save the day? ♪

- ♪ Like AJ Gadgets, I'm on my way! ♪

both: ♪ How do they save the day? ♪

all: ♪ Well, the scientific fact is ♪

♪ They use all kinds of powers ♪

♪ They just need a little more ♪

man: Practice!

both: ♪ If you're a future hero ♪

♪ Come and you will see ♪

♪ You belong at Hero Elementary ♪

all: ♪ We all belong at Hero Elementary ♪

- When my students are training to be heroes,

there's always excitement in the air.

And sometimes students in the air too!

[all cheering] - [laughs]

[exciting music]

- [squeaking]

- Flying does look like fun, doesn't it?

- [squeaks]

- Fur Blur, wait!

[dramatic music]

- [squeaking]

- Got you!

[whooshes]

[electronic chirping]

- Sorry, Fur Blur,

but hamsters are not meant to fly.

- [squeaks]

- And flying isn't always as easy as it looks.

- I'm pretty good at flying with my jetpack now,

but what I really have trouble with

is flying with my jet shoes.

- Sounds like you need more practice.

Slip those jet shoes on and let's see what you can do.

[light music]

[shoes whirring] - Whoa!

[exciting music]

Whoa! [yells]

- Watch out! - Careful!

♪ ♪

- AJ, this way! You can practice outside

where there's more room.

- [shouting]

- Come on! - [squeaking]

♪ ♪

[triumphant music]

[squeaking]

♪ ♪

[squeaking]

[squeaking]

- Uh-- - Oh, whoa!

[buttons beeping]

[whooshing] - Whoa, ah!

♪ ♪

- Whoo-hoo! [laughs]

I think I'm getting the hang of these jet shoes, Mr. Sparks.

- Way to go, AJ! [Sparkinator chirping]

- The Sparkinator! There must be trouble.

- Whoa, help! [all shouting]

- Help, help! - [squeaking]

- Uh-oh, those people need heroic help.

- Sí, rápido!

Who's the crew who knows what to do?

♪ ♪

all: Sparks' Crew to the rescue!

- I just have to get my backpack from inside.

- There's no time.

We've gotta go! [whooshes]

- Um...

[exciting music]

- So my students rushed to help,

only to find a very slippery problem.

- [frightened moans] - Look, they're slipping!

- Whoa! - On ice!

- Ice? Come on, team!

♪ ♪

Give us your hands! [grunts]

- Whoa, whoa, whoa! - Gotcha!

- [sighs] Thank you.

- Whoa, help!

♪ ♪

- Bubble up!

- [barking]

- Whew!

- Looks like everyone is safe now.

- But how did the sidewalks get covered in ice?

- Maybe we can figure it out if we use our...

all: Superpowers of Science!

- Let's start by observing.

What do we notice about this ice?

- Hmm...

Well, it's really slippery, that's for sure.

- Oh, and it's freezing cold!

- But it's a warm day.

So where did the ice come from?

- Maybe from a super gadget. Thought Projecting!

Arctic Chill has a chill gadget that can make ice anywhere.

- Don't you have a gadget like that, AJ?

- Yes, I do.

I made it just like the one Arctic Chill has,

but my chill gadget is in my backpack at school.

- Well, once we know what caused this problem,

then maybe we can solve it.

- Hmm, the trail of ice seems to go that way.

- Let's go investigate.

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

[wind blowing]

- [squeaking]

- Oh, help!

A lion, ahh!

- [squeaks]

- Look, the ice ends here. - Run!

Lion on the loose!

- Did she say...lion?

- Sounds like we have a new problem to solve!

[whooshing]

- [purring]

- It is a lion!

- How did a lion get here?

- That's a good question.

- Wait, there's something about that lion.

It looks kind of familiar. - Really?

What do you notice about it?

- Well, it's got lots of fluffy brown fur,

and look, around its neck,

a collar with a heart-shaped nametag.

This is no lion.

It's a kitty cat from my neighborhood!

Marshmallow? - [purrs]

[all gasping]

- Aw, I knew it was you, girl.

Whoa, oh-- aww, you big cutie.

- Whoa, whoa, whoa. How can this be a kitty cat?

It's so big.

- [grunts] And heavy.

Cats can't grow this big by themselves.

- So what could have caused this?

- Maybe it was another Super Gadget, like a grow ray.

- Don't you have a grow ray, AJ?

- Yes, I do!

But it's in my backpack at school.

- We have to figure out what caused this problem

so we can solve it.

- And figure out what caused the ice problem,

so we can solve that.

- Let's keep investigating. Come on!

[exciting music]

- Uh, we'll be back for you, Marshmallow.

♪ ♪

- [squeaking]

[panicked squeak]

- Huh? Lucita!

- Um, what's a plunger doing on the side of a building?

- I don't know. Hmm...

It reminds me of the plunger I have on my rope launcher.

It's the same size and the same red color,

but mine has a long rope and a yellow launcher.

- AJ, look!

[dramatic music]

- Huh?

♪ ♪

A long rope and a yellow launcher?

This can't be my rope launcher.

It's back at school in my backpack.

I think it is.

- I'll pop back to school to make sure.

Be back in a snap! Gym!

[whooshes]

Um, AJ...

your backpack is kinda...missing.

- [gasps] - Missing?

Oh, no! Somebody took my backpack

and all the gadgets inside it. - Well, not all.

It looks like we've got your rope launcher.

- So maybe it was your chill gadget

that made the ice on the sidewalk.

- [gasps] Oh, no!

- And your grow ray that made that cat so big!

- [gasps] Oh, no, oh, no!

[panicked panting]

- We've gotta find that backpack.

[whooshing overhead]

- Wait a minute. I hear it!

[electronic chirping] Come on!

[exciting music]

There it is!

My jetpack backpack is on the loose!

We have to rescue it.

♪ ♪

- [gasps] Look!

Fur Blur's inside!

- [squeaking]

- Oh, no, we have to rescue her!

- [squeaking]

- We're coming, Fur Blur!

- Aha!

♪ ♪

- Huh? Whoa!

Whoa!

- Oops. Sorry.

- [squeaking]

- [grunts]

- Wait, I know how to stop that backpack.

Sara, there's a remote that can turn my jetpack off.

It's in my cubby at school.

- I'll go get it. What does the remote look like?

- It's silver and shaped like a rectangle.

- I'm on it. [whooshes]

- Aah! - Sorry, Mr. S.

Gotta get something for AJ.

- Oh, I was just looking for Fur Blur.

I don't know where she is. - I do!

Can't talk now. See ya!

[whooshes] - Wait, Sara!

Huh, she didn't tell me where Fur Blur is.

- [squeaking]

♪ ♪

- AJ, I've got the remote.

- Great! Press "off"

and the backpack will shut down.

♪ ♪

[electronic chirping]

- [squeaks]

- Oh, no! - [squeaking]

all: Fur Blur!

♪ ♪

- Yeah! I got you.

- [squeaks]

- Whoo-hoo! [laughs]

- Fur Blur! Aww.

You had a wild ride, didn't you, girl?

- I'm really glad you're all right, Fur Blur.

- And your backpack?

- That too. [sighs]

It feels good to have it back on me.

- We know you didn't mean to cause

all those problems today, did you, girl?

You little cutie. - [squeaking]

- Well, now that we know what caused the problems,

we can fix them!

I've got all the right gadgets for the job.

Come on!

- [purring]

- I'll just reverse my grow ray.

♪ ♪

- [meows]

- And reverse my chill gadget.

♪ ♪

- Great job, AJ.

You solved all the problems.

- Guess we should get back to school now.

Mr. Sparks might be wondering where you are, Fur Blur.

- Do you wanna fly back to school with me?

- [squeaks]

- [laughs]

I guess hamsters aren't meant to fly after all.

- Wait for us!

- And so my heroic students figured out the problem

to solve the problem. No problem!

all: ♪ We all belong at Hero Elementary ♪

- Autumn in Citytown,

the perfect place for people

to put out pumpkins and prepare for...

- Pumpkin Palooza!

[laughs] It's finally today!

- [squeaks]

- Ooh, I can't wait

to walk through the neighborhood tonight,

see all the decorated pumpkins.

- I bet no one will have a soccer ball pumpkin!

- Okay, AJ, now you can scoop it out, just like Benny.

- Ugh! Messy.

Uh... [groans]

Aha!

[whirring]

- Hmm...

My pumpkin kinda looks like me. [laughs]

I just need some more blue paint.

Hmm...

- I think there's some in the closet.

Just be careful. The closet is very--

- [yells]

[groans] - Full.

- Oops. [Sparkinator chirping]

- The Sparkinator! - There must be trouble.

- [crying]

- Oh, that's my neighbor, Paulita!

Aww, she seems upset.

- Looks like she could use some heroic help.

- Sí, you can finish your pumpkins later.

But right now, who's the crew who knows what to do?

all: Sparks' Crew to the rescue!

[exciting music]

- Thanks, Sara! Let's go.

♪ ♪

- Just be back in time for Pumpkin Palooza!

♪ ♪

And so my students rushed to the scene,

where they found Paulita with a pumpkin problem.

♪ ♪

- Have no fear, Sparks' Crew is here!

- Benny? - Hi, Paulita.

What's going on?

- My pumpkin is ruined.

I made two pumpkins for Pumpkin Palooza,

and now I only have one left.

- I wonder who or what did this.

- Fear not!

We will find the dastardly destroyer!

all: Huh?

- Uh, you know, the one that ruined Paulita's pumpkin.

We just need to use our...

all: Superpowers of Science!

- We can start by observing!

What do we notice? - [whooshes]

Well, I notice a big hole in this pumpkin.

- And I notice that the messy stuff from inside the pumpkin

is all over the ground.

Yuck!

[light music]

- [squeaks]

- And I noticed that Fur Blur sure does

love to eat pumpkin seeds. - [squeaks]

- Wait a minute...

If our cute little hamster likes to eat pumpkin seeds,

maybe other animals do too?

- Hey, look closer at the hole.

Notice something? It looks like bite marks!

- So an animal ate my pumpkin?

- Could be. - What kind of animal?

- Good question. How can we find out?

- Let's investigate.

If the animal liked the pumpkin,

it might come back for more.

- We should hide so the animal won't see us.

- Yes, we can each have our own investigation stations.

Let's go!

- Come with me! - [squeaking]

[curious music]

♪ ♪

[rustling]

[beeps] - Uh...

I hear something. - Me too.

It might be the animal.

♪ ♪

- What kind of animal is it?

- It sounds really big... [gasps]

It's--it's--

Aw, it's just a cute little squirrel!

[bright music]

[squirrel chittering]

♪ ♪

- A pumpkin-eating squirrel.

[chittering]

- Ahh! Stop!

Hey, stay away from that pumpkin!

Shoo, shoo, shoo!

- Well, our investigation

did help us figure out what happened to this pumpkin.

- That squirrel's not gonna eat any more of my pumpkin!

- But how are we gonna

make sure that the squirrel

doesn't ruin the other pumpkin?

- It's the only one I have left.

I need it for Pumpkin Palooza!

- Don't worry, we'll find a way to keep it safe.

- Let's think. What if...

we put something around the pumpkin

so the squirrel can't get to it?

- Oh, I know what we can use!

Back in a Snap! [whooshes]

Ta-da! We can put this around the pumpkin

to protect it on all sides.

- Nice plan. Let's try it out.

- [whooshes] - [squeaks]

- There. - It's great!

Now let's go hide and see if the squirrel comes back.

- To our investigation stations!

[whooshing]

[chittering]

- Ooh, I think it's working.

- Or not. - [gasps]

My pumpkin!

- Oh, no.

Shoo, shoo! Go away, squirrel!

- So much for that plan.

- Nothing's gonna keep that squirrel away.

- We're not giving up! - Right!

When one of my new gadgets doesn't work the first time,

I make a change or rearrange and try and try again.

- Then that is what we shall do.

- So what kind of change can we make?

- Hmm... Thought projecting.

We protected the pumpkin on all sides

so the squirrel couldn't get to it.

- But the squirrel could still get to the top of the pumpkin.

- So maybe we just need

something to cover the top of the pumpkin.

- But what could we use?

- Hmm... [gasps]

I know!

How about this old bicycle wheel?

- Yes!

Wait. How?

- There, squirrel won't be able to get to that pumpkin now.

- I like this plan.

Let's test it out.

- To our investigation stations!

[whooshes]

♪ ♪

[chittering] - I see the squirrel.

- Oh, I hope this works...

[exciting music]

[all gasping]

[chittering]

- Here it comes again!

- I got it! [whooshes]

Ugh! Go away!

Ugh! - Get out of here!

Go, go!

♪ ♪

[chittering] - Shoo, no, not here!

♪ ♪

- I don't think anything's gonna stop that squirrel.

- Even if this did work,

no one could even see

my pumpkin for Pumpkin Palooza.

- So what do we do now?

- We make a change or rearrange

and try and try again.

- Right, that squirrel doesn't give up,

so we won't give up.

Ah, that's it! - What's it?

- Maybe we just need to change where the pumpkin is.

We could put it up-- high up--

where the squirrel can't reach!

- How about up on that window ledge?

- [gasps] Then everyone can still see it!

- Sounds like another great plan.

Let's try it out.

♪ ♪

- [squeaking]

[chittering] - Oh, no!

Look!

[gasps]

[all gasping]

♪ ♪

- Bubble Up!

♪ ♪

[gasps]

- I got it!

Oh. - Whoo-hoo!

Yeah!

- That was a close one.

- Aw, you okay, Furry Blurry?

- [squeaking]

- Good thing your bubble kept her safe.

- My bubble... [gasps]

That's it!

- [whooshes] What's it now?

- My bubble kept Fur Blur safe,

so another bubble could keep the pumpkin safe too!

- So we put the pumpkin in a bubble!

- Another great plan, but will it keep the squirrel away?

- There's one way to find out.

- We try it out.

- That's right. - Yes!

- Let's do this.

- Bubble up!

And the best part is bubbles are see-through,

so everyone will be able to see the pumpkin

for Pumpkin Palooza!

- To our investigation stations!

♪ ♪

[chittering]

♪ ♪

[all cheering]

- It worked! - Whoo-hoo, it worked!

- The pumpkin is safe inside that bubble,

and now everyone can see it for Pumpkin Palooza!

- Thanks, Benny, you saved my pumpkin

from that hungry squirrel. - Hungry?

[gasps] Oh!

The squirrel didn't mean to ruin your pumpkin.

It was just hungry. [gasps]

Oh, no, what's the poor little squirrel gonna eat now?

♪ ♪

[chittering]

[laughs]

I guess that's mission accomplished!

- And now I think we should get back to school

to finish decorating our own pumpkins.

- Okay, bye everyone. Thank you!

- See you at Pumpkin Palooza tonight!

- Uh-oh, there are lots of other squirrels.

Maybe we should bubble up

all the pumpkins along this street

just to be safe? - Yes!

We shall protect all the pumpkins!

[whooshing]

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

- That evening, all the pumpkins

were perfectly protected for Pumpkin Palooza!

[laughter and gasps] - Cool!

- Whoa! - [chuckles]

Very nice!

If you ever find yourself in a pumpkin predicament,

no need to squirrel out of the problem.

Just figure out a solution or two like Sparks' Crew.
