- [Bottle Top Bill] The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill.

- [Corky] And his best friend Corky.

♪ Bottle Top Bill ♪

- [Corky] Where are we going today Bill?

- [Bottle Top Bill] We're off to the zoo Corky.

- [Corky] I think this is the start of an adventure.

- [Bottle Top Bill] It sure is Corky.

An adventure called Monkey Mischief.

Hello Stretchy.

Good morning Trumpet.

(Stretchy whistling)

(Trumpet trumpeting)

Have you seen Cedric the Scientist?

That way?

Thank you.

(animals whistling and trumpeting)

Look Bill, who's that up the tree?

- [Bottle Top Bill] It doesn't look like Cedric.

- [Corky] It's not a person at all Bill.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Right, it's Rocky the Monkey.

- [Corky] Hello Rocky.

Those carrots look good.

Bill, Corky, you're here, and not a moment too soon.

What's the trouble Cedric?

It's Rocky, he hardly touches his food and he

doesn't want to play.

It's most unlike him indeed.

That's no good at all.

How can we help?

My guess is that Rocky needs some special food,

food that can only be found in the jungle.

Are you thinking boo-boo bananas?

From Jingle Jangle Jungle?

That's it, that's it exactly.

Then say no more Cedric.

- [Corky] We'll take our airplane to the jungle right now.

- [Bottle Top Bill] That'll get us

to the Jingle Jangle Jungle in no time.

- [Corky] Even Faster.

Oh thank you so much for this.

Its no trouble at all.

You look after yourself Rocky.

(Rocky sighing)

We'll be back as soon as we can with those

boo-boo bananas.

Ready for the jungle Corky?

- [Corky] Jungle ready Bill.

Good luck.

Off we go.

To get to the jungle we have to cross over

the snowy mountains.

I hope we can fly high enough.

Lets hope there's no bad weather either.

Right again Corky.

There they are Bill.

The Snowy Mountains.

- [Bottle Top Bill] we'll have to watch where we're going.

- [Corky] We don't want to run into one of them.

Come on plane, up you go.

You can do it plane.

It's going up Bill.

It's one good plane Corky.

Look, down there Corky.

What is it?

I think it's our friends.

It's Flip and Chip.

Hello Flip.

Hello Chip.

- [Flip And Chip] Hello Bill and Corky.

I'm sorry, but we can't stop.

We're going to the jungle.

Do be careful.

It's spring and the snow is melting.

What did they say Corky?

They said the snow is melting.

Why would it be doing that?

You can see why down there Bill.

It's getting hotter because it's spring,

so the snow is melting and making water.

I get it Corky, and that water from the snow

will be going down to the jungle.

Up Bill.

But Corky, water doesn't go up, it goes down.

No Bill, the airplane.

Up!

- [Bottle Top Bill] Oh!

- [Both] Whoa!

That was a close one.

Not to worry Corky,

it's clear flying from here to the jungle.

- [Corky] The jungle won't be too far away now.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Right you are.

- [Corky] We'll need a place to land.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Some place without all these trees.

How about there Bill, near the river.

That should do it Corky.

We're going in.

Emergency brakes Bill?

Emergency brakes Corky.

Whoa, those trees were close Corky.

We're having a day of close ones Bill.

Now to find those boo-boo bananas.

Remember the last time we were here?

How could I forget.

We had a lot of trouble with those Cheeky Squeaky Monkeys.

- [Corky] They didn't like us taking their special bananas.

- [Bottle Top Bill] We'll just have to explain

that it's to help Rocky.

- [Corky] Maybe that way they won't play any tricks on us.

Paint me pink.

What's happening?

It's the Cheeky Squeaky Monkeys.

(monkeys howling)

Lets talk to them Bill.

Right Corky.

We would like to ask for your help monkeys.

So we can help another monkey called Rocky.

We need some boo-boo bananas.

We know you don't like anyone taking you special bananas,

but.

They won't help us Bill.

What can we do?

We'll have to find the boo-boo bananas ourselves.

Now which way?

Uh, Bill?

What is it?

Have we moved closer to the river?

We haven't moved at all Corky.

Then that means the river is moving closer to us.

Why would it do that Corky?

The river is rising.

It must be all the melted water from the Snowy Mountains.

There's going to be a flood.

That's what Flip and Chip were trying to tell us.

Then we've got to find those bananas, and quick smart.

Quick smart it is Bill.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Walking through the jungle

isn't like walking through the park.

- [Corky] There are so many tree and plants.

- [Bottle Top Bill] So we've got to watch our step

all they way.

It's hard to see very far.

How are we going to find the boo-boo bananas?

We should listen Bill.

Listen?

But bananas don't make any noise Corky.

The Cheeky Squeaky Monkeys do.

And where the monkeys are, the bananas will be.

Right Bill.

So lets listen.

(distant monkeys howling)

The monkeys!

They're over that way.

- [Corky] Look Bill, it's the boo-boo bananas.

- [Bottle Top Bill] You were spot on Corky.

Where the monkeys are, the bananas will be.

But I don't see the monkeys, Bill.

Neither do I Corky.

I'm sure we heard them.

I am too.

They must be very close.

(exclaiming)

Got you Bill.

Thanks Corky, that was too close for comfort.

Where did this hole come from.

That's no hole, that's a trap.

A trap made by those naughty monkeys.

They're up to mischief.

But we can't let them stop us.

We need those bananas for our friend Rocky.

We'd better be careful Bill.

There might be more traps.

- [Both] Whoa!

You were right Bill, there are more traps.

(monkeys hooting)

What are you doing monkeys?

Why won't you help us?

(monkeys hooting)

What's wrong with the monkeys?

Something's upset them.

There's what it is Corky.

- [Corky] The river, it's rising faster than we thought.

Time for action.

It's just as well we brought our raft.

You said it.

We could take on any river with that.

Jump in.

You'll be safe with us.

Maybe now you'll listen to us.

We need some boo-boo bananas

to help our monkey friend Rocky.

He's not feeling very well and the bananas will help him.

Could we please have some?

(monkeys hooting)

We can have these?

Thank you monkeys.

we knew you'd help us once you understood.

Lets get back to the plane Bill.

Start paddling.

Is this the right direction Bill?

I think so Corky, but it's hard to say.

Because of the flood you can't tell where the river ends

and the jungle starts.

(water roaring)

What's making that sound?

- [Bottle Top Bill] That's what it is Corky, it's rapids.

- [Corky] We're heading straight for them.

- [Bottle Top Bill] And we can't turn back.

- [Corky] Hold on.

- [Both] Whoa!

(water splashing)

Another close one Corky.

How many can we have in one day Bill?

There's our plane Corky.

And the river is still rising.

We won't have much room for our take off.

(monkeys hooting)

What are they saying Bill?

Do you want to come back with us to see Rocky?

They do Bill.

Alright, but we've got to get cracking.

Everybody ready?

I'm going to have to give it the fill power Corky.

Give it everything Bill.

Everything it is Corky.

Here comes the river.

Wohoo we made it.

And you wouldn't believe it Bill.

Another close one.

Here are the Snowy Mountains again Bill.

And there's Flip and Chip.

You're safe.

Bravo!

Thank you for your warning about the water.

We'll see you again soon.

Oh please have something to eat, Rocky.

I'm sure you'll eat when Bill and Corky

bring the boo-boo bananas.

That sounds like them now.

It is them, indeed.

We're back.

And what a trip it was.

Where are the monkeys going?

They wanted to meet Rocky.

And give him the boo-boo bananas themselves.

Bill, Corky, how can I thank you?

You've done such a marvelous thing.

We're just pleased that Rocky is happy again.

Thanks to the boo-boo bananas.

But Bill, the boo-boo bananas are still here.

So if it wasn't the boo-boo bananas,

why is Rocky so happy now?

His friends have made him happy Bill.

I think you're right, Corky.

There's only one thing to be done.

Yes indeed.

We should take Rocky back to the jungle with his friends.

Correct.

This is going to be a noisy trip to the jungle Bill.

Once we drop the monkeys back, lets spend some time

with Flip and Chip in the Snowy Mountains.

Good idea Bill.

We need a nice rest.

A nice quiet rest.

When you're right Corky, you're right.

(monkeys hooting)

- [Corky] What's today's adventure about Bill?

- [Bottle Top Bill] It's about a mystery Corky.

- [Corky] A mystery, that sounds exciting.

And its called The Disappearing Hat.

Huh?

That's strange.

Corky?

Yes Bill.

Have you seen my hat?

No.

Where did you last put it?

I put it right there next to the window

while I was having a shower.

Maybe it dropped out the window.

Good thinking Corky.

Lets go and look.

Your hat should be around here somewhere.

Well I can't see it anywhere.

I wonder where it is then.

There's only one thing for it Corky.

Somebody took my hat.

But Bill, how did they get up to your window?

I don't know.

And why would anyone take your hat?

I don't know that either.

And who would take it?

That's another don't know Corky,

but it's time to get some answers.

Follow me.

(bird chirping)

- [Corky] Where are we going Bill?

- [Bottle Top Bill] We're going to talk to

Sandy the Scarecrow.

- [Corky] You think he might know something about your hat?

- [Bottle Top Bill] Sandy sees everything that goes on

around here.

He'll know who took my hat.

Hello Sandy.

Hello Corky, hello Bill.

We've got some trouble.

Oh dear, what is it?

It's hat trouble.

My hat has disappeared.

We can't find it anywhere.

I'm sorry but I haven't seen your hat.

I've been in town buying some crayons.

They're very nice Sandy.

They are nice, but we don't have time for crayons.

We've got to find my hat.

Hang on Bill, what's that?

- [Bottle Top Bill] Where Corky?

- [Corky] Something's sitting on that fence Bill.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Paint me pink, is that my hat?

It is your hat Bill.

How did it get there?

This is a mystery.

My hat's hopping away.

After it.

When did your hat start to hop Bill?

I didn't know it could Sandy.

Blow me down, it's gone.

It's hopped clean away Bill.

It has to be around here someplace.

Wait for me Bill.

I want to help too, I'll leave my crayons here.

Any sign of the hat Bill?

Not a bit, nothing.

This is incredible.

(bell ringing)

Who's that coming?

- [Corky] It's our neighbor Ned.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Great, Ned might have seen my hat.

Lets hope so Bill.

We need to solve this mystery.

It's already solved Corky.

Look, my hat is on Ned's bike.

Hello, what are you all doing?

What we're all doing Ned

is wondering why you have that hat.

Huh, what hat?

My hat.

How did your hat get there?

It wasn't there when I started out.

Well it's certainly there now.

I don't believe it Bill, look.

Oh no, it's getting away again.

And this time it's running.

Follow that hat!

(bird chirping)

Now where's it gone?

It's disappeared again.

First it hopped and now it's run away.

I didn't know hats could do that.

I hope this isn't someone's idea of a joke

because it's not very funny.

Slow down Bill.

We'll help you find your hat.

It can't be far away.

- [Bottle Top Bill] I'm going to search everywhere

in the neighborhood.

- [Corky] Including this field Bill?

- [Bottle Top Bill] Yes Corky, we'll look behind

every flower and bush and tree til we find it.

- [Sandy] Wow, that's a lot of looking.

Alright everyone, get ready to spread out

and search this field.

Every inch of it.

- [All] Ready Bill.

(dog barking)

- [Sandy] What was that?

- [Ned] It sounded like a dog.

- [Corky] It is a dog.

- [Bottle Top Bill] It's Mrs. Whistlehead's dog Timmy.

Hello Timmy.

Timmy, have you seen my hat around here?

Hang on Bill, I can see it.

Me too.

Where?

It's there in the flowers Bill.

Strike me lucky, so it is.

Grab it before it runs away.

Or hops.

(Timmy whimpering)

Paint me pink, it's flying.

Catch it.

It's too quick.

And too high.

What an amazing hat you have Bill.

Hopping, running, and now flying.

Come back hat.

It's disappeared again.

But where?

This is a real mystery.

It's no mystery, I know what's been going on.

What Bill?

You've all been playing a trick on me, haven't you.

- [All] No!

A hat can't hop, run, and fly.

Someone has to be helping it.

But Bill.

No more tricks please.

I'll find my hat by myself, thanks.

Bill sounds very upset.

Did we do something wrong?

No Ned, Bill just misses his hat.

He didn't mean to be rude.

What should we do?

Don't worry Sandy, I'll go and talk to him.

We'll keep trying to find Bill's hat.

Good idea Ned.

(Timmy barking)

Yes Timmy, you can help too.

Come on.

(bird chirping)

I'll go home and sit down and have a good think

and this time no one will be around

to play any tricks on me.

Where will I look first?

My hat could be anywhere.

I hope I didn't say the wrong thing to my friends.

What if they weren't trying to trick me?

Hello there.

Where are you going?

Did I say the wrong thing to you too?

Bill, can I join you?

Of course you can Corky.

Take a seat.

It wasn't any of your friends who took your hat.

Really and truly Corky?

We're all just as amazed by your hat as you are.

Then who's behind it all?

I have to find out Corky.

(bird chirping)

Who's this Bill?

I don't know but she's got a peg from the clothes line.

Why would she want a peg?

No idea Corky.

Bill, Corky!

We've got some news.

We found a clue.

A clue?

We think it's a clue.

The little blue flag from my bike is missing.

And one of my crayons is gone, the blue one.

(Timmy barking)

And Timmy is saying that some blue flowers

have been picked.

And we just saw a bird take a blue peg.

And what color is your hat Bill?

Why, it's blue of course.

I think if we can find that bird,

we'll solve this mystery.

Then let's find that bird.

- [Corky] We should use the balloon Bill.

- [Bottle Top Bill] My thinking too Corky.

- [Ned] Do you think the bird might have taken your hat?

- [Bottle Top Bill] I don't know Ned,

but the missing blue things are our only clue.

- [Sandy] I knew it was a clue.

You were spot on Sandy.

Get ready for takeoff everyone.

Up and away.

Keep your eyes peeled for that bird Bill.

Will do Corky.

And we'll look down for the blue things.

That's right Ned.

The bird can't be too far away.

(Timmy barking)

(bird chirping)

Look who it is Bill.

And it's got a blue button.

It is collecting blue things.

It's going down to the ground.

And so are we.

- [Corky] The bird went into those trees.

- [Bottle Top Bill] We can't go in there with the balloon.

- [Corky] So we'll land as close as we can and walk in.

- [Bottle Top Bill] Right you are Corky.

Come on everyone.

Keep your eyes open for any blue things.

- [Ned] Why would a bird want blue things?

- [Sandy] I know, I think I know.

- [Corky] Tell us Sandy.

Some birds like to use blue things

to make their nests look pretty.

So we have to find the nest.

There's so many trees.

The bird could be in any of them.

(bird chirping)

Wait a minute, look at this.

Some blue paper.

But it's under the tree.

Because it's fallen from a nest in the tree.

- [Bottle Top Bill] And just look at that.

It's all our blue things.

My crayon.

My flag.

Our clothes peg.

(Timmy barking)

That's right Timmy, the flowers too.

And best of all, my hat.

Woohoo!

Here's the bird.

With another blue thing.

It's a very pretty nest.

And now we know why the hat hopped and ran.

And flew too.

The bird must have been under it all the time.

Little bird, we don't mind you collecting blue things.

You can keep my flag.

I'll find a new one.

And you can have my crayon.

And please keep our peg.

But my hat is very special.

I've had it a long time.

Can I please have it back?

(bird chirping)

Thank you little bird.

That's great.

How is it Bill?

It couldn't be better Corky.

We'll find you as many blue things as you want

little bird.

You'll have the prettiest nest that anyone will ever see.

We promise.

(Timmy barking)

(bird chirping)

It's so good to have my hat back again.

You do look a lot better with it Bill.

Now you're the real Bottle Top Bill again.

Thanks everyone.

I couldn't have found my hat without you.

You're all very good friends.
