- [Phil] Previously on "The Amazing Race."

The final four teams race from Guilin to Beijing, China.

Margie and Luke continued to hold a grudge

against Kisha and Jen.

- I want them out.

I went them eliminated next. Game on.

- But the sisters weren't phased.

- [Jen] The incident that happened with Margie and Luke...

- He's signing and they're laughing at 'em.

- I always smile and laugh, especially in tense situations.

We're over it.

- [Phil] At the Detour, Jen was challenged

by her fear of water.

- [Jen] I wanna go home.

- [Phil] But Kisha showed her compassion.

- Let's finish strong.

However long it takes you, okay?

- [Phil] Allowing Jen to continue on.

- I think she feels like she let me down, but she didn't.

I'm proud of her right now.

- [Phil] When Jaime and Cara thought

they had won their first leg...

You are the first team to arrive.

They were greeted with a surprise.

This leg of the race is not over.

You are still racing.

- [Cara] Oh my god, we're still racing.

- [Phil] Coming up tonight.

- Caution: U-Turn ahead.

- [Phil] One team faces a U-Turn.

- That U-Turn could be the deciding factor.

[citizens speaking foreign language]

- Oh my god.

- [Phil] And with a spot in the final three at stake...

[citizens speaking in foreign language]

Jaime and Cara struggle with the language barrier.

- This is why I did not want to go to China. It sucks.

[dramatic theme music]

[dramatic theme music continues]

[dramatic theme music continues]

[dramatic theme music continues]

[dramatic theme music continues]

[dramatic orchestral music]

- There, oh my god, come on. - Run it.

- Come on. - Jaime and Cara,

you are the first team to arrive.

But guys, this leg of the race is not over.

You are still racing.

Here is your next clue. - Okay.

- Make you way to Beihai Dong Min

in search of your next clue.

- Thank you, Phil!

Beihai Dong Min?

He knows it, he know it, get in.

- [Jaime] Ow!

For him to say it wasn't over was very disheartening.

- We are not done racing.

We go to the Pit Stop and we are not done racing.

- As long as it's us in the final three,

I really honestly don't care who is the other person.

- The race goes on.

- We've been working with Jaime and Cara

and Tammy and Victor so we'd like

to see them in the final three.

Okay.

- Margie and Luke, you're the second team to arrive.

- What, what? - Yes, two!

- But this leg of the race is not over.

- Okay. - Mama.

- You are still racing.

Here's your next clue.

- Okay.

Make you way to Beihai...

- Good luck, guys.

- [Margie] Taxi?

- [Luke] Mom.

Let's go.

- You yell at me again and I'm finished.

The longer we're on the race, the harder it is.

I just don't want to hear him yell "Mom" one more time.

- Yeah. [Margie laughs]

- We made up a lot of time

and it turns out it wasn't an elimination.

Frustrated. - Oh.

- The one time we come in first to the Pit Stop,

it's not over.

Is it here?

- Yes. - Stay.

Beihai Dong Min?

- Here it is here it is.

All right, I got the clue.

Search the shops in the area

for a Travelocity roaming gnome.

- [Phil] Teams must now search the shops

of the Beihai Street Mall

and find the Travelocity roaming gnome.

When they find the Travelocity gnome,

their next clue will be revealed.

- [Cara] We need to get our bags.

- [Margie] Beihai Dong Min?

- [Luke] Mama, go.

- Search the shops in the area for a Travelocity gnome.

Careful. - Here?

Do you have a gnome?

I don't see anything.

- Right here. - Mom, mom, mom.

- [Tammy] Hurry, hurry.

- Tammy and Victor, you are the third team to arrive,

however, this leg is not over.

- [Victor] Oh, gosh.

- You are still racing. Here is your next clue.

- [Tammy] Okay.

- Make your way to Beihai Dong Min

and search for you next clue. - Okay.

- We're not done. - We were tricked.

It wasn't a real Pit Stop.

Hopefully we make it to the final three.

- And once we're there, then there's no chance

of us being eliminated anymore,

then it's time to focus on just winning.

- [Tammy] So we'll see what awaits us.

[Jen sobbing]

- [Kisha] Better not be crying.

- [Jen] I'm so over China.

- [Kisha] Here? Okay.

Come on, come on, come on.

- Kisha and Jen, you're the last team to arrive.

However, this leg of the race is not over.

You are still racing. Here's your next clue.

- Shut the hell up. - Good luck, guys.

Read your clue. - Oh my god.

- [Phil] You are still in the race.

- We're still in the race. - Don't give up.

- Make your way to Beihai Dong Min

and search for your next clue. - Thank, god.

- [Phil] Good luck, guys, good luck.

- [Kisha] Still in it, Jen.

- You've got to be kidding me.

If we would've lost this race,

it would've weighed heavily on my heart.

As long as we're in the race right now, we're happy.

- We just need to go here. Beihai Dong Min.

[driver laughs] [Kisha laughs]

I tried!

- I see it. - Yeah, go ahead.

- [Tammy] Yeah.

- What does it say?

You must keep your gnome until you arrive at the Pit Stop.

- [Cara] Gnome? Gnome?

- Go, go. - Come on, Cara.

- [Cara] Gnome?

- [Jaime] No, she's looking at me like I'm crazy, Cara.

- [Tammy] Where is the gnome?

- [Victor] Look all around.

- [Tammy] I don't see it, Victor. Let's go.

- [Victor] Okay, let's go to the next one.

- [Luke] Come on, mom.

- First one, right here. Right here.

Get him, get him. Come on.

Find the marked bicycles across the moat.

- [Phil] Teams must now make their way

to Gu Gong Xi Bei Jiao and find a popular

Chinese mode of transportation: the electric bicycle.

Then they'll ride the electric bikes

past Beijing's forbidden city and across Tiananmen Square

to Dongdan Subway Station

where they'll find their next clue.

- [Margie] We find to find a cab.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

- Gnome? Gnome?

There's one, there's one.

Okay.

- [Jaime] Gu Gong, do you know where that is?

- No. - No?

He doesn't know.

He doesn't know it.

You don't know? Forget you then.

Something I hate more than anything

in the world, it's taxis.

- [Kisha] There it is.

- Search for the shops in the area

for the Travelocity roaming gnome.

- [Victor] Let's check in here.

Oh, it's right here, Tammy.

- [Tammy] Oh, awesome.

- [Victor] Find the marked bicycles

across the moat for Gu Gong.

- [Tammy] Gu Gong is forbidden city.

- [Victor] Let's go look for a cab.

- There it is, there it is. - Where?

Oh, excuse me.

Come on.

- [Jen] We need to find a taxi.

[car honking]

- [Kisha] Here, let's go down to that main street, Jen.

- [Victor] Can't believe I'm carrying a purse and a doll.

[Tammy laughs]

[Victor speaks in foreign language]

- So we're headed to the forbidden city.

- Here's one. - Taxi?

Margie and Luke are already over there, Cara.

- [Cara] Dammit.

- [Margie] You know, you know? Okay.

- Can you take us? - Okay, thank you.

Let's hope he knows.

Go go. You know the way?

You don't really know where you're going?

Let's look at it again, then.

See here? Gu Gong.

Do you know this?

Yes or no? This right here.

Yes?

Yes?

I want a simple acknowledgement with the head.

With a shake of the yes or no.

How hard is that?

An acknowledgement, yes or no, which is it?

Unbelievable. Freaking unbelievable.

- [Jen] Gu Gong...

- [Kisha] Yeah. He said yeah.

- I'm glad we got a new day. Another day, I should say.

[soft Oriental music]

- There should be bicycles right around here.

I see bicycles right up there.

- [Tammy] Oh, sweet.

- This is so cool.

And then go.

Yeah, at this crosswalk, we should cross.

Watch the car, watch the car. [car honking]

He was trying to run me over. - Oh! [laughs]

- [Victor] You okay, Tammy?

- [Tammy] Yep.

I'm trying to figure if they're gears

'cause I'm pedaling a lot.

Oh, you twist it this way, you glide.

- I think it's electric power. - Now I get it.

I'm cruising.

[dramatic music]

- [Luke] Mom, mom, mom, mom.

Go, go, go.

- [Jaime] That's not it.

There's another moat down there, Cara.

A street down?

Not here, not here.

We have to go. [dramatic music]

- [Kisha] There's Margie and Luke.

- [Margie] Oh, they have motors. They're like scooters.

- [Kisha] Come on. Whoa!

- [Cara] They're over there.

- [Margie] Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry!

- I see people, I see people on bikes.

- Come on. You good, Jen?

- [Jen] Hell no, my hands cold.

[Kisha laughs]

- Riding bikes in China in the cold. [laughs]

- [Jaime] Well that freaking sucks.

- Come on. Let's go fast.

[dramatic music]

- Doing their m*llitary exercises in the morning.

Oh, that's so cool.

Tiananmen.

We're in Tiananmen Square! [Tammy chuckles]

- [Tammy] I wonder what's going on up there today.

- It's the flag raising ceremony.

It was great once we hit Tiananmen Square.

We actually got to see the guards walking around

and the flag get raised.

That was actually pretty cool.

Oh, there's the box! It's right there.

Oh my god, my fingers are so, I can't even open 'em.

- Want me to do it? - I got it.

Ow! Detour.

- [Phil] In this Detour,

teams have to choose between two local Beijing professions

famous throughout the world.

Their choice, Beijing Opera or Chinese Waiter.

In Beijing Opera, teams make their way

to the Huguang Huiguan Opera House

where they'll make each other up as a princess

and gentleman at the Chinese opera.

When they're both made up and fully costumed,

they must present themselves to the opera master

to receive their next clue.

In Chinese waiter, teams make their way

to Huguang Huiguan Restaurant

and choose a table of hungry patrons.

The customers will give their orders in Mandarin.

[customers speaking in foreign language]

And teams will have to recite these orders back to the chef.

When they recite the orders correctly,

the kitchen staff will prepare the dishes.

When all of the dishes have been served,

they'll receive their next clue.

- Let's do Chinese waiter.

- Yeah. - It's easy.

There's a cab right there.

I mean, we speak Chinese so we can take the order.

- We just have to place the orders, right?

- Yeah.

- [Margie] Woo!

[Luke cheers]

[car honks]

- Tiananmen Square.

This is Tiananmen, right? - Yes.

- Thank you.

- Tiananmen Square?

- You can go down this street and go left.

- [Margie] Oh, sh**t.

Kisha and Jennifer are ahead of us.

[Luke grunts]

- [Luke] Let's go.

[car honks]

- [Jen] Oh, wow.

- [Kisha] Come on, we gotta peddle fast.

There it is. You see it?

Let's do the opera.

Taxi?

I think you should be the gentleman

and I should be the princess.

I've never been a princess my whole life

so maybe this is my opportunity to be a princess.

- Well, I hope you get rosy cheeks and all the nine.

- [Margie] Oh, awesome.

- [Luke] Mama. Clue box.

- [Jaime] Wow, look, Cara.

- [Cara] Yeah.

- We're gonna do the opera.

- There, there!

Dress up. - Yeah, opera.

- [Luke] Mom, let's go.

- [Margie] Taxi?

- [Jaime] Taxi?

Oh my god, these all have people in them.

- [Margie] Beijing Opera?

- [Jaime] Of course. Last ones to the taxi as usual.

- Huguang Huiguan.

We're going to the restaurant.

- This is pretty cool. - Huguang Huiguan.

[Victor speaking in foreign language]

- [Victor] Choose a table of hungry patrons

and take their order.

Okay.

[Victor and Tammy speaking in foreign language]

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- Okay, so it's good luck.

Yo yu is squid. - Good luck squid.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- [Victor] So vegetarian noodles.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- Okay.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- New taste- - New taste-

- [Tammy] Beef. [laughs]

Listen.

[customer speaks in foreign language]

[Victor speaks in foreign language]

- [Tammy] All right, let's see.

- Chinese language, I mean it's completely sort of nuanced

and the slightest difference in sound

or intonation completely changes the meaning of the word.

[Tammy and Victor speaking in foreign language]

- [Tammy] And this one is...

[Tammy and Victor speaking in foreign language]

- No.

[speaking in foreign language]

- [Kisha] Yup, this is it.

We had a taxi take us to the right place.

Go, go, go, Jen

Right here.

Hello.

You wanna do me first? - Yes.

Hers is powder.

[Jen laughing]

- [Kisha] I hate for things to touch my lips.

- [Jen] Stop moving your lips.

- [Kisha] I look like a damn clown.

- [Jen] It's fine.

You're gonna scare a lot of children.

- [Margie] Let's go.

[dramatic music]

- [Jen] Kisha, you look gorgeous.

I'm so happy I'm the gentleman.

Okay, have at it.

- Mama. - Dammit.

- I don't say we have any ill will towards Margie and Luke,

but I think definitely if we had a opportunity

to do something that would put them behind in the game,

then we would definitely utilize that.

- We wanna b*at Kisha and Jen.

I hope Kisha and Jen are not in the final three.

- Will you stop with the white?

- Stop moving.

- He's got it on so heavy,

it doesn't look anything like the girl.

It's too much.

- Mom, mom.

Stop, mom.

Stop moving.

- I didn't want her to look in the mirror.

I just wanted to do the makeup.

She didn't trust me putting the makeup on.

Use a brush.

Oh my god.

Well, he made me look like Alice Cooper.

You're gonna have to take it off.

Use that and take it off.

- Quick, quick, quick. - Okay, I got it, Jen.

Okay.

- [Jen] Now all you have to do is the white. Good job.

- Oh my god.

I feel like a drag queen. - Mama.

- Just go.

- Mom.

Stop moving, please.

Let me do it

- [Margie] It's too much.

- [Luke] Mom, don't move.

- Do you see? She has a tiny, little line.

You have it thick.

- I'm finished.

I'm finished. [dramatic music]

[dramatic music]

- It's too much.

- Mom!

I'm finished.

I'm finished.

- You're fine, you're doin' good.

- You have to finish me.

Kisha and Jen, they're finishing before us.

- Then stop moving, please. Let me do it.

- Okay, all right.

All right, I think you're done.

Okay. - We gotta get dressed.

- [Margie] They finished fast.

- Mama.

- [Margie] I have to do you. Oh my gosh, sit down.

[dramatic music]

[speaking in foreign language]

- [Victor] Okay, I'll let you say it all.

[Tammy and Victor speaking in foreign language]

- Okay.

- Yay.

- Taxi!

- [Jaime] Taxi?

Taxi! - Here it is.

Whether he knows or not, we have to take it.

- [Cara] Yeah.

- [Jaime] Beijing Opera.

Opera.

Singing.

[Jaime and Cara vocalizing]

- Yes! - Yes, yes.

[Cara vocalizing]

Yes.

[Jaime vocalizing]

- Okay.

- Very fast.

Thank you.

[Victor speaks in foreign language]

- [Tammy] Yeah.

[Tammy speaks in foreign language]

[Tammy and Victor speaking in foreign language]

- Make your way on foot to Wenchangge, maybe?

- We'll just have to ask. - Caution: U-Turn ahead.

- This is the second of only two U-Turns

found along the race course.

A U-Turn appears at the end of a Detour.

Teams can use the power of the U-Turn

to slow down another team,

forcing them to backtrack

and perform the other side of the Detour.

Unlike the first U-Turn on the course,

this U-Turn will not be blind.

If a team chooses to use it,

they must post their own picture

and will be held accountable

to the team they've slowed down.

- [Victor] On foot. So we're close.

- Yeah.

It's very tough right now making it to the final three.

I think Margie and Luke are the strongest team.

Jaime and Cara have the greatest competitive spirit,

but Jennifer and Kisha are the most athletic team

and I do not wanna be in a foot race

with them at the end of the day.

[Victor speaking in foreign language]

- This is cool. - Okay.

- It's pretty.

- [Kisha] We gotta go out and take a bow.

[soft upbeat Oriental music]

Take a bow.

Thank you.

Thank you.

- [Jen] Make your way on foot to-

- [Kisha And Jen] Wenchangge.

Caution: U-Turn ahead.

- [Victor] Oh, it's right here, Tammy.

- [Tammy] Oh, awesome.

- We're U-Turning Jen and Kisha.

We knew going into the leg that we would use the U-turn

and that we would use it on Jen and Kisha.

And we expected if Jen and Kisha had gotten there first,

they probably would've U-Turned us.

Make your way to Dong Hua Men Yi Shi.

- [Phil] Teams must now make their way

to Dong Hua Men Yi Shi Street Market

where they'll find their next clue.

- Okay, let's go.

I've got the gnome, you've got the pouch?

- [Victor] Yep.

[Tammy speaks in foreign language]

- I'm hoping that our U-Turn works

and they're eliminated this leg.

- [Kisha] Wenchangge? Wenchangge?

Wen, Wenchangge?

- [Jen] Just show 'em 'cause you're probably

not saying it right, babe.

- Wenchangge?

Here, let's ask this woman right here.

Wenchang- - No, no, no, no, no, no.

[Jen sighs]

- [Jen] Nobody freaking knows anything here.

[soft upbeat Oriental music]

- Okay?

We need to go fast.

We've got to look.

It doesn't go that, it goes in the back.

- Is this it?

[Cara vocalizes]

I don't see a marked path over here, Cara.

- I don't know if this is it. - I don't think this is right.

- [Jaime] We have to go to opera.

♪ Ah ha

We need to go to the Beijing Opera.

[citizen speaks in foreign language]

Okay, this is not the opera? - Okay.

[Jaime sighs]

- [Jaime] Stupid taxi driver.

So aggravating.

Taxi! - Taxi!

[upbeat Oriental music]

- Thank you.

Caution: U-Turn ahead.

Thank you.

- All the stalls right there. - Those red stalls.

- Got it.

- [Tammy] That's what I was thinking it was, too.

- [Victor] Yep, that's perfect.

Okay, let's go.

- [Tammy] There's a clue box right there.

- Where's it? Oh, right there.

Okay.

Roadblock.

- A Roadblock is a task that only one person may perform.

In this Roadblock, that person has to stare down

the gullet at something common in Beijing

but strange and alien to Westerners.

The ultimate in Chinese delicacies.

Teams must eat a plate of these crispy creatures.

Grasshoppers, larva,

scorpions, and starfish.

Once they've finished their plate,

they'll receive their next clue.

- Who's got a taste for adventure? It's me.

- [Tammy] You can eat everything there.

[Victor speaks in foreign language]

- [Tammy] Don't even look at what is.

Don't look at that.

- [Victor] I have to eat starfish?

That disgusting. - Hurry, hurry, Victor.

Just hurry.

[Victor speaking in foreign language]

- [Tammy] You can do it. Eat it.

[worker and Victor speak in foreign language]

- [Tammy] Oh good, they fry it. That's better.

[Victor speaks in foreign language]

- Oh my god. - You can do it,

you can do it.

- I actually am glad they're frying it

'cause I was about to eat it raw.

[Victor and Tammy laugh]

Do they have ketchup?

- [Tammy] I don't think they have ketchup.

- [Victor] I cannot believe I'm eating this.

- [Tammy] Why don't you eat it over here?

- I'll sit over here.

I'll eat the starfish last.

- [Tammy] I'm so proud of you, but not envious.

How is it?

Is it gross?

- I'm trying not to think about it.

- [Tammy] Good job, Victor.

- Beetle larva as it was, was really chewy,

crunchy with the, you know, spongy texture of the larva.

Very difficult to keep down.

- [Tammy] Nobody else is here. You're good.

- This is nasty.

- [Jen] I am walking around in this get up.

You look gorgeous, by the way. [Kisha scoffs]

This is so frustrating. - Wenchangge?

- We walked around Beijing in drag.

We were searching around,

find somewhere we couldn't pronounce.

Wenchanggo.

- Where?

Do you know?

You know?

I looked a hot mess after a while.

- It was an ugly woman. - Didn't look good at all.

[citizen speaks in foreign language]

That way? - Yes.

- Okay.

[dramatic music]

- [Margie] Okay, we have to find someone

to tell us where to go.

- [Luke] Mama.

- English?

When we walked outside, Luke said it's not usually that far.

U-Turns have to be close to the Detour.

Let's just keep lookin'.

- [Cara And Jaime] Taxi?

- Oh my God.

Every taxi is filled.

Please, please.

I've never seen anything like it.

It's 'cause China's so damn populated.

That's why there's no freaking empty taxis.

Where can we get a taxi?

Taxi?

Surely they know the name taxi and they're playing dumb.

We need a taxi.

And that one's taken.

I don't understand.

Please, please.

Please, emergency.

Emergency. - Emergency.

- Emergency.

[Jaime sighs]

They don't even stop when they are empty.

This is it for us.

This is how you lose a race

because we never have a damn taxi.

Ever.

Ever.

Taxi?

This is how you lose a race

because you never have a damn taxi.

Taxi?

Please.

Oh, up here.

Whether he knows it or not we're taking it.

Well we're clearly last.

We must go opera.

- I don't know. - Oh my god.

- [Victor] I'm gonna eat the scorpion.

- [Tammy] How's that?

- Mm.

- [Tammy] Even the locals are grossed out. [laughs]

- [Victor] Blegh!

- You're doing great. What are you going with next?

- The grass hoppers.

[Tammy laughing]

[Victors speaks in foreign language]

- [Victor] So I'm a little hungry.

- [Tammy] Ew.

- [Kisha] We gotta find the U-Turn.

Wenchangge?

- [Citizen] Wenchangge? No, I don't know.

- It's very frustrating being in China.

It's in their own language. [dramatic music]

- That's it?

I see people.

- Anybody speak English?

- There's Margie and Luke. They're done.

We're not too far behind.

- [Jaime] Margie, no U-Turn yet?

- [Margie] Not yet, it's coming up, though.

- Ugh, all right, come on. Let's hope it's not us.

- [Margie] Do you speak English?

- Yeah. - Wenchangge?

- Wenchangge. - Come with us.

You can help us. - Okay.

- All right, so let's go fast, okay?

- [Cara] Makeup first.

- Which one? - You want all the red

on his face. - Okay.

We decided to do makeup

because we're really good at doing our own makeup.

[Cara and Jaime laugh]

Can you look this way? Look this way.

Thank you.

- [Tammy] I think the starfish will be fine.

Oh, that actually looks like it might be tasty.

- [Victor] It is not.

It looks like fish innards.

- [Tammy] Ew.

You're doing great, Victor.

Nobody's even here.

We're done.

Yay, xie xie. - Xie xie.

- We go right to the next Pit Stop.

- Yay!

- Teams must now make their way

through the bustling streets of Beijing

to this place, Niao Chao.

Also known as the Birds Nest,

it was the centerpiece of the Beijing Olympics.

It's also the Pit Stop for this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- Taxi. - Oh, yay.

- Niao Chao.

We knew because we came for the Olympics

that Niao Chao was the bird's nest.

- Cool.

All right, we're good.

- It has been like at least an hour

we've been looking for this place.

- It would be nice if Victor and Tammy got there first

and U-Turned Jennifer and Kisha.

If Jennifer and Kisha got there first,

I think we're screwed.

- [Kisha] Which was did Luke and Margie go?

- [Jen] Back that way.

- This okay? - Okay.

[soft Oriental music]

So we're good?

- [Cara] Thank you.

- Make your way on foot to Wenchangge.

Caution: U-Turn ahead.

All right, we gotta go on foot

so we've gotta ask people around here.

Wenchangge?

- Wenchangge?

- Yeah. - Yeah.

- Oh, please.

[citizen speaking in foreign language]

- [Jaime] This way?

I hope to god someone U-Turned Kisha and Jennifer

or Margie and Luke at this point.

- [Cara] As long as it's not us, that's all that matters.

- [Jaime] We must look ridiculous to these people.

- [Margie] Oh, she's gonna call.

She's on the phone.

- [Jen] This is hilarious.

We have walked back and forth too many times

and asked too many people.

- Wenchangge?

- Wenchangge. Thank you you, xie xie.

I see the people walking ahead of us.

- [Jen] Oh that's Cara and Jaime.

- [Kisha] Is it really?

- Yep. - Oh, we gotta hurry up.

- [Cara] I see the sisters

'cause they don't know where it's at yet.

- [Jaime] We don't know that they know

where they're going, though.

Wenchangge?

- [Citizen] Go ahead.

- And turn?

- [Citizen] Yep.

- [Margie] Jaime and Cara?

- [Luke] Jaime, come on.

- [Margie] Did you find it?

- No, but the sisters are up in front.

- [Margie] They are.

We've all been up and down these roads twice.

- [Jaime] Come on, Cara.

- It's not down that way.

Where are you guys going?

- [Jaime] We don't know. Wenchangge?

[Luke groans]

Oh my god.

- [Citizen] My friend told me. He said opera house.

- Wenchang- - Ge.

- Ge, is in the opera house? - Yeah.

- [Luke] Mama, go back.

- All right, let's go back.

We're gonna look. [citizen chuckles]

- [Cara] Wenchangge?

This way?

- This way?

Cara, nobody knows anything.

- [Luke] Go, go, go, go, go.

- Oh my gosh. It was right in front of our face.

[Margie gasps]

Oh, awesome.

Make your way to Dong Hua Men...

- [Luke] Thanks.

- Oh, you could tell him.

Very happy Kisha and Jennifer got U-Turned.

For Jaime and Cara,

I think it's gonna be really important.

- Yeah, a U-Turn was wishful thinking, right?

- Wishful.

- That U-Turn could be the deciding factor.

[dramatic music]

- All right.

There he is.

- Where, where? - Left.

Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry.

[dramatic music]

- Welcome to Beijing, China.

- Thanks. - Xie xie.

- Xie xie.

- Tammy and Victor, you are team number one.

- Yay! - Yay!

- Good job, good job.

- Congratulations guys.

You are one of the three teams who will be racing

to the finish line-

- That's awesome- - For the $ million.

Congratulations. - Thank you.

- Now I have some good news for you.

As the winners of this leg of the race,

you have won a trip for two from Travelocity

to the Galapagos Islands.

- Wow.

- [Phil] During this phenomenal,

once in a lifetime eight day adventure,

you'll visit a handful of these extraordinary islands.

A trained naturalist will introduce you

to the unique flora and fauna.

You'll see giant tortoises and snorkel

next to the Galapagos penguins.

This is a vacation you'll never forget.

- That's awesome. - That's awesome.

It feels so amazing to be part of the final three.

- We're definitely not underestimating

whoever's in the final three with us.

But I think we'll be tough to b*at.

I'm going in, you know, look, counting on being number one.

- [Jaime] This is unbelievable. I cannot take it anymore.

This is gonna make me cry.

It has to be somewhere around here.

- We're gonna go back to the opera house and start over.

- [Cara] Good luck.

[Jaime laughs]

- So we're going back to the opera

to retrace our steps or we're just staying here?

- I know that they're gonna point us back here

and we're gonna be annoyed.

Where did Margie and Luke go?

- I don't know. - They went down that street

and they never came back.

- Who's got a taste for adventure?

It's gonna be me.

Yeah, extra crispy, please.

[worker speaks in foreign language]

- [Jen] It's here, Kisha.

- [Kisha] Right where we were.

Oh my gosh. Jen, we got U-Turned.

- [Jen] Oh my god.

They said, "Sorry, we can't outrun you guys."

This is so annoying.

- [Kisha] All right, come on.

- [Jen] And it's absolutely ridiculous.

- [Kisha] Come on, Jen. We're in a hurry.

Where's the restaurant?

- [Jen] It's here.

- [Kisha] Hello.

- [Jen] Okay, we need to do the other Detour.

- [Kisha] Hello. Let's start right here.

- [Jen] He has to eat with them. How cute.

So pretty. - Okay, go ahead.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

[Kisha speaking in foreign language]

- We went there. - We went there

and it wasn't there.

- [Citizen] It's this way.

- [Cara] We can do it.

- [Jaime] We'll try this way again.

We're obviously missing something.

[Margie grunts]

[Luke laughs]

- [Kisha] What would you like?

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- [Jen] All righty.

[Kisha laughs] Here goes nothin'.

- [Kisha] We wrote it out just how we thought it sounded.

[speaking in foreign language]

[speaking in foreign language]

- No.

- [Kisha] Let's just ask everybody again real quick.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

- [Jen] Listen to this one.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

[Jen speaking in foreign language]

- We Black, not Chinese. - Okay.

- [Cara] Wenchangge?

- Oh, Wenchangge. - Wenchangge.

[Jaime groans]

- [Cara] Like maybe it is down

at the end of that street again.

- Where?

No, we went all the way to the end.

- [Cara] No we didn't go all the way.

- Cara.

- Oh, that stinks.

- [Margie] Oh, it smells good?

Yeah right. [Luke laughs]

- [Jen] Gonna go for it.

- [Kisha] I'm ready.

[speaking in foreign language]

[speaking in foreign language]

[speaking in foreign language]

- No.

- [Jen] I'm sorry, I don't speak Chinese.

[customer speaking in foreign language]

[citizen speaking in foreign language]

- I don't even know how many times

we've been on this road.

I don't know that we will ever find it.

We have asked so many people.

- [Jaime] By far one of the worst days of my life.

[dramatic music]

[Luke cheers]

- Yay. Thank you, thank you.

Make your way to the next Pit Stop.

- Hi. - Hello.

- [Margie] Do you know Niao Chao.

- [Driver] No problem.

- Mama. Good job.

[speaking in foreign language]

- All right.

Here goes nothin'.

[speaking in foreign language]

[speaking in foreign language]

- Okay.

- Yes! - Thank you, thank you!

Oh my gosh.

- [Jen] Now we have to serve them.

- If I pay you, can you please show me?

We've been looking for three hours.

- We can't find it for three hours.

- Please come with- - We went there.

- I'm sorry, I'm busy.

- We are headed to Niao Chao. [laughs]

Hopefully someone will be eliminated.

And then we can have the final three.

[Jen speaks in foreign language]

[Kisha speaks in foreign language]

- [Jen] All right, where's the last one?

So we can get the hell out of here.

Hi.

Oh, yeah, that's it. - Okay.

I got it, I got it.

Let's go, let's go.

- Make you way to Dong Hua Men...

- All righty.

Come on, let's go, baby.

We still in this.

- Wenchangge? - Wenchangge.

- Can you show us the way? - Where is it?

- Please?

[citizen speaks in foreign language]

So it's very far? That can't be right.

I have lost all concept of where the hell I am.

This why I did not wanna go to China. It sucks.

Oh my God.

- Wenchangge?

- I think we need to go back to the opera and start over.

- [Cara] Let's just turn around and go back.

- The only thing I can think is we have to go back

to where we started and then retrace our steps.

- There it is. You see it?

- [Kisha] Mm-hm.

- Who's got a taste for adventure?

I do.

[dramatic music]

Oh my god.

At least they're fried.

Do you have ketchup? [Kisha laughs]

Here goes nothin'.

- Good job, Jen.

Does it taste like chicken?

- [Jen] Hell no it don't taste like chicken.

- [Cara] This is the opera house.

- [Jaime] Wouldn't that be awesome

that it's just been here this entire time?

I can't even take it if it is.

- [Cara] Here it is.

They've been U-Turned.

- [Jaime] They probably finished that U-Turn by now.

- First of all, if we're gonna be defeatist

then why even bother continuing?

- Oh, as if you haven't

been acting that way the whole time, Cara.

Make your way to Dong Hua Men Ye Shi

and search for stall to find your next clue.

And as I said in the first place,

we should've just come back the opera place

and retrace our steps.

- Okay, well it's all my fault

and if we get eliminated- - I didn't say it's

all your fault. - It would be my fault

because I said let's listen to someone.

My apologies.

- [Jaime] Taxi.

Oh, please. - Thank you.

- [Jaime] Dong Hua Men Ye Shi?

- I think we're both just kind of pooped,

but we just have to remain hopeful, right?

[dramatic music]

- [Luke] Go, go.

[Margie chuckles]

- I know.

- Margie and Luke, you are team number two.

[Margie and Luke cheering]

Congratulations.

[Margie and Luke cheering]

You are one of the three teams.

- One of the three teams.

- That will be racing to the finish line for $ million.

- Yeah. [laughs]

- Feel good?

- I can't believe I'm in the final three.

I can't believe it, I'm so excited. [laughs]

I was thinking in the beginning

that I was doing this for Luke, but that's not true anymore.

I mean, I'm having such a great time

and it means the world to me.

[dramatic music]

- Come on, Jen. You got it, you got it.

Is it as bad as you thought?

I don't think Cara and Jaime been here,

so let's get it done.

- Right here, right here. - Yeah, right here.

- Yes, yes, stop. - Stop, stop, stop.

- Oh Jen, we gotta go.

The girls are here.

- I'm sure they ain't gonna eat this in one go swift

unless they have no gag reflexes.

- Who's got a taste for adventure?

- That's me. - Okay, Cara,

you just gotta shove 'em down your throat.

- I can't even bite this.

God.

[insect crunching] [dramatic music]

[oil sizzling]

- 'Cause she's eating it really slow.

I think if you eat it faster,

you don't even taste it as much.

- We're still in a race.

- She's breaking it piece by piece, small,

real small pieces to eat it.

- [Jaime] Come on Cara, let's go faster. Come on.

- Do it fast. Get it over with.

- Oh my god.

- Jennifer's moving really slow.

You ate that like it was tasty. [laughs]

- So good.

- [Jaime] You're an animal. [laughs]

- Knock that out real quick.

- [Jaime] Oh, man.

[dramatic music]

She's sick. You've got her.

- Almost there. You all right?

- No.

- [Jaime] That is amazing, Cara.

- You're almost done, Jen, you got it.

- [Jen] God. And I gotta pee.

- Yeah, that's why I was like drinking all that water.

- I gotta get through this.

I'm taking this stuff like a pill.

- [Kisha] That's why I said slow down on the water.

See what you could eat without the water.

- [Jen] No, you don't understand. It's helping it go down.

- I am thoroughly amazed.

I don't even know what to say right now.

- [Kisha] Eat the last piece, Jen.

You're a champ.

Good job.

- Oh my gosh. - They're already done.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Warning, the last team to check in may be eliminated.

Good luck, girls.

- [Jaime] Thanks, Kisha.

- Taxi.

You know where this is?

Niao Chao?

- [Driver] I don't know.

- [Jaime] You eat that starfish

like it tastes like a steak. [laughs]

- Just tell me we are still in the race.

- Yeah, they don't even have a taxi yet.

That's right, eat that. - Okay.

- Okay.

- They're still trying to get a taxi.

It's so hard to get a taxi here.

- It is hard.

- Taxi?

You know where this is? Niao Chao?

Okay, he knows.

- [Jaime] Yeah, you've got this.

- I'm literally picking critters out of my teeth

and I have to pee from the four bottles of water

I chugged in the process.

- Is that your last piece?

- [Cara] Thank you.

- Make your way to the Pit Stop. Niao Chao.

- Taxi! - Taxi.

- [Cara] Taxi, we need you.

Fast, fast, fast.

Okay, get in.

- [Jaime] Don't forget to bring your gnome.

We left our gnome. - Oh, silly gnome.

- Okay, very fast.

In a race.

- Fast, fast, fast, fast, fast.

I was hoping that we would catch up with the sisters.

I think I really champed out that eating challenge

and made up a great deal of time.

- Champ is an understatement.

That was actually freakin' amazing.

- We know we're not last right now.

We would definitely have liked Cara and Jaime

to show up a little later,

just in case our taxi got lost.

- I gotta pee real bad.

- His driving is impressive.

- [Cara] It's all about this ride right here.

- Good luck.

- Good luck? - Good luck.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- [Driver] Niao Chao.

- [Kisha] Okay.

- I think I'm gonna ask Phil

can I pee before he check us in?

[Kisha laughs]

- [Jaime] Where was he this whole trip?

- Yeah, where was he this whole trip?

- Jen about to run a in about nine seconds

because she got to pee.

And it ain't no joke. [dramatic music]

- [Jaime] Oh my god.

[dramatic music]

- Oh my god. - You got it.

- [Jen] Oh, I'm gonna pee on myself.

- Is it this one?

- [Jaime] Oh my gosh. That thing is big.

[car honks]

- Those blue things with the blue tops?

I think they're port-a-potties.

- [Jen] Oh, I'm about to pee on myself.

- It's a little nerve wracking

'cause we still don't know exactly where we're going,

but I mean, I didn't want her to pee on herself

so we're gonna run for it when she's done.

- Move women, move.

Stop. - Stop.

Right here.

Right here. - Yeah, right here.

[dramatic music]

You see anything? - No, I don't see anything.

Do you see anything? - I don't see anything.

- Come on, Jen.

- Niao Chao? - Niao Chao?

- Oh.

- [Kisha] Come on, let's run.

- [Jaime] In here?

- [Seller] Tickets.

- This can't be it, then.

- [Jen] It's like "Where's Waldo?" I hated that game.

- [Kisha] Jen, come on.

[Jen groans]

- [Jaime] We know it's here somewhere, Cara.

- [Kisha] Come on.

[dramatic music]

- [Cara] I see Phil.

- Jaime and Cara,

I'm sorry to tell you you're gonna have to keep racing

because you are team number three.

You are still in "The Amazing Race."

Congratulations, you are one of the three teams

who will be racing to the finish line

for the the $ million.

Congratulations.

And of course the other good news is you have a chance

to make race history by becoming

the first ever all female team to win "The Amazing Race."

- Didn't I tell you that there's always hope?

Jaime.

[Kisha and Jen laugh]

- Welcome to Beijing, China.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Kisha and Jen, you are the last team to arrive.

I'm sorry to tell you

you have both been eliminated from the race.

- Dammit. [Kisha sighs]

- [Phil] You had to stop for the bathroom?

- It's okay.

It's okay.

- It came down to seconds.

Can you you tell me about how you're feeling right now?

- I feel guilty as hell.

I had to use the bathroom and if it came down to seconds

or however many seconds or minutes it came down to,

then that's on me.

- You don't want her to live with that, do you?

- No, not at all.

I'm not gonna hold that against her at all.

She's been a strong competitor all through this

so I'm not gonna say that she lost it for us

because, you know, she's a big part

of why we even got this far.

We worked as a team together.

To experience this race with her and you know,

see her strength really, you know,

made me look at her different,

like she's not my little sister anymore.

- I'm just happy that she's proud of me.

I'm extremely proud of her.

I mean, I wouldn't have picked anybody else to do this with.

I mean, we've grown as people and as sisters.

I think this just brought us a little closer together.

It was just an amazing experience

that I didn't wanna share with anybody other than my sister.

I enjoyed every minute of it.

[soft orchestral music]

[soft orchestral music continues]

- [Phil] Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on the season finale of "The Amazing Race."

A Hawaiian luau has teams going hog wild.

- Ow.

[Tammy screams]

- [Victor] Right here, let's go.

- Drop it.

- [Victor] Come on, Tammy.

That was like three steps.

- [Cara] I'm sorry.

- You got it, you got it, you got it?

Lift it up, high. [Tammy grunts]

- [Phil] Jaime sings a familiar tune.

- [Jaime] Can we please get a move on?

- [Caller] You need to tell your people

that I am not their personal concierge.

- [Phil] And surf's up as old alliance members face off.

- [Margie] Woo! Good job, Luke.

- [Tammy] Come on, Victor.

- [Jaime] This stuff makes no sense.

- [Phil] It's the season finale you won't want to miss.

- [Luke] Whoa.

- [Phil] Who will cross the finish line first

and win the $ million?

- We have to go in a race as fast as you can, okay?
