HOST: Previously on "The Amazing Race,"

our most competitive season--

Go.

[cheering]

HOST: --began with a photo finish.

Oh my God.

HOST: For the first time ever, teams went head-to-head.

Oh. Oh my God.

Come on, honey. - Oh.

Come on. Come on.

It's not over.

Let's get this.

HOST: And swap partners.

No.

Oh my God.

Oh.

It's going to be one of those days.

You're the best lifeguard I've ever known.

HOST: Teams made strategic moves.

We're going to u-turn the violinist.

- You want to u-turn somebody? - Big brother and Yale?

- Something stronger? - We have to do it.

HOST: And game-changing mistakes.

When you got on the flight-- on the plane,

you had it in your hand?

It sounds like Lucas lost his passport.

HOST: Along the way, seven teams were eliminated.

Lucas and Britney, have been eliminated from the race.

HOST: Leaving team IndyCar.

You got to get right in there, and just milk the teat.

HOST: Team extreme.

Oh my gosh.

HOST: Team big brother.

What are you doing with that?

HOST: And team Yale.

You got this.

HOST: With a sh*t at the $ million prize.

[laughs]

HOST: Tonight, one of these four teams

will win "The Amazing Race."

This decides the whole race right here,

whether we're in or out.

[music playing]

Where are we going?

All right.

Fly to the Pearl of the Orient, Hong Kong.

[music playing]

HOST: Teams will now fly , miles

to the Pearl of the Orient and head

to this overlook almost , feet

above the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong.

Once here, they must find this photographer's

kiosk to get their next clue.

What's up man. We need to go to the airport.

- Hey, Andy. - You guys want to share?

Yeah. Coo.

All right. Cool.

We're heading to the airport.

We're going to Hong Kong.

Even though we're all arriving at the same time, at least

Yale has a speed bump.

Because we want them to go out this late.

I wish yesterday was an elim--

so bad.

[laughs]

All right.

Woo-hoo.

Thank you.

From the first few legs of the race,

if we were to predict the strongest teams,

they're all still here.

And we want to b*at them.

Let's do it.

We're very, very grateful to still be in the race at all.

It's definitely worrisome to have a speed bump, especially

because we know the other three teams

are extremely competitive.

Thank you.

Thank you so much.

Today's definitely all or nothing.

Yale is definitely the odd team out.

However, we've seen them come back from adversity.

So not counting them out at all.

Us, Indy, and X Games.

The three of us are definitely working together to make sure

that we're the final three.

In our minds, there's nobody on that course but us.

We just want em out.

[music playing]

[music playing]

Let's go.

Go, go.

Jen, run.

Transport down that way.

Excuse us.

Excuse me.

Oh.

We are going to Victoria Peak.

We're in a hurry.

I'll give you number three.

Number three?

Lions pavilion?

Victoria Peak-- the highest peak on the mountain

of Hong Kong Island. [interposing voices]

ALEX: We were one of the first teams to leave the airport.

But it's just-- it all comes down to will

we get to the right place. - Right here.

Hey, we were in front of you guys, absolutely.

- Next taxi. - We were in front of them.

Where's the next taxi?

Grab us a taxi.

Number six?

All right.

Do you know how to get to Victoria Peak?

We're in a race, and we need to get there as fast as possible.

We feel pretty confident starting the leg,

because we knew Yale had a speed bump.

But you never know where you're going to be

on any of these challenges.

In the future, you gotta be more aggressive.

When Jessica and Cody pushed--

Yeah.

It's like getting to the end, so people

are going to push and shove.

[music playing]

Right here in Hong Kong.

Never been to Hong Kong in my life.

I've never been to China at all.

We have a one in four chance of winning a million dollars,

so we have to be smart.

I hope a night race does wonderful things for us.

[laughter]

My name is Henry.

- Such good luck. - Yeah.

Nice to meet you, Henry.

[laughter]

[non-english speech]

So I speak a little bit of Mandarin,

but Cantonese is the primary language here in Hong Kong.

But it turned out that I was able to speak

to the taxi driver in Mandarin.

That's an advantage for us.

Findley Road. Findley Road, right here.

All right.

This is it.

Yes. Good job, bro.

It's got to start here?

It's on the other side.

Good job, man.

Photography kiosk.

This is not right.

[interposing voices]

Because it's a one way street, and we're driving the wrong way

on a one way street.

How far up is the tram?

Let's get out for one second.

We need to go there.

Up there.

- You take us there? - Oh, up there?

- Yes. - Will you take us there?

Oh, well.

We're going to have to go-- yes.

You turn around.

See, Lion's Pavilion lookout is eight minutes walk.

OK.

So I don't know what to do.

He needs to turn around.

Yeah, go down here.

Uh.

Findley Road, this way.

Oh, here's some-- here are Cody and Jess.

OK. - Go, go, go.

We need to go fast.

Is it faster to go to the tram that way?

Is it faster to have him drive us or run?

We got to run. We got to run.

OK.

So we take this hard right, Findley path, right?

OK.

What's this?

This is Yale speed bump.

Photography kiosk.

Yeah.

There it is right there.

Hello.

Nice to meet you.

Hello.

You want to take a picture?

No, we're here for this.

We're with the race. - Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah.

- Yeah. - OK.

Please take a picture. - OK.

OK. Two of you?

Yeah, us two.

OK, follow me, please.

Seriously?

OK, stay here please guys.

- Right here it's good. - Welcome to Hong Kong.

Stay here please. - Thank you so much.

- You got to be kidding me. - OK.

OK. OK.

Ready, smile.

Cheese.

One second, move.

OK, cheer for one two.

OK.

I like that one.

Yeah, perfect.

Now it's printing.

OK.

Now we're waiting for a clue. - There we go.

Lions Pavilion. [inaudible]

This way. - Henry, hurry up.

Excuse me.

Excuse me, sorry.

Speed bump.

Light the way by turning on all the lanterns

to receive your next clue.

Having arrived last in the previous leg,

Henry and Evan must now complete a speed bump--

illuminating and hanging Chinese lanterns representing

happiness and good wishes--

something they'll need if they want to survive

this leg of the race.

- Where's the example? - Is it these?

- These things? - OK.

Here we go.

Get them already here.

Yeah.

I'm going to do all the lanterns first.

OK. That's fine.

This is not a fast one.

This way, Jess. That's it, right there.

They just showed up. - Who?

Yale.

Sure, perfect.

Whatever, yeah. - OK.

Relax. Relax.

OK. OK.

Have a look. - Can I have my clue please?

- OK. - Thank you.

- Thank you so much. - All right.

Travel by taxi to Aberdeen and search the waterfront

for your next clue.

Let's go back down to that taxi stand.

- You guys got it? - It's up there.

It's up there.

Thank you.

Go where?

Oh sweet.

We got here in second, Evs.

Amazing.

OK, kiss smile.

OK, thank you.

We don't really notice the skyline.

I was more distracted by this one than looking at the view.

You were my view.

[laughs]

- Where? - Right here.

It's right here. Right here.

Right here.

He's going to take your picture right there.

All right. - OK, thank you.

Thank you.

- Excuse me. - Excuse me.

Excuse me. Excuse me.

Excuse me.

PHOTOGRAPHER: OK, ready smile.

One, two, three.

- It's awesome. - Yay.

OK.

OK, finish? yeah. - Thank you so much.

One second. Yeah, thank you.

Thank you. - Thank you.

All right.

Team Extreme just left.

Hey.

Quickly, come on.

Oh, you're amazing. [interposing voices]

Hey, Henry.

Our taxi driver Henry is here cheering us on.

He got us here so fast.

Henry is the best.

We're taking a right.

Yup.

OK, he's there.

Fantastic.

We got to the clue area first.

Everyone was quite close getting there.

We need to keep our eyes on the boys

and not let them out of our sight.

We are following IndyCar right now.

So as long as we don't lose them, we should get there fine.

We obviously hope the speed bump takes hours, if not days.

[boat horn]

Well, that was good.

Yeah, but it says, search the waterfront.

Look for a clue box.

You guys want to go that way, we'll go this way, or what?

Sure.

All right.

Just give us a shout.

It's here? OK.

OK.

Let's run this way.

We search along the waterfront here.

I'm not seeing anything this way.

There's not much over here.

Nope.

All right.

- It's right there, - Kristi.

Yellow and red, yellow and red. Oh my God, Kristi.

Good job. OK, it's a detour.

[music playing]

Now here's something you don't hear every day.

It's hairy crab season in Hong Kong.

Teams must now go to work just like the local fishermen do

and properly secure a basket of hairy crabs

for transport to the fish market.

Wrangling these uncooperative crustaceans

will be a challenge for obvious reasons.

And just to ramp things up, teams will need to properly

prepare crabs in a typhoon.

You could call this detour a game

of Chinese whispers, commonly known as telephone

in the United States.

Here in this seafood restaurant, one team member will

take an order in Cantonese.

[non-english speech]

And then relay the order to their teammate

in the kitchen who must decipher the correct dish.

When the customers get what they want,

teams will get what they want--

their next clue.

Clue box.

- It's right here guys. - Got it?

OK.

Hairy crab or grub grab.

Restaurant?

No.

The crabs sound easier.

- I think this one. - The first one?

Yeah.

- Tie a basket of hairy crabs? - Yeah.

OK.

We have to take a boat either way.

But it's two different destinations.

I understand.

Where are we going?

We've chosen to do hairy crab.

She's got it. - OK.

Come on.

You take us?

OK.

We're ready.

[music playing] - Almost there.

Almost there.

Do we need to fix them?

It's OK. It's OK.

- Last lantern. - Are we OK?

Honey. Honey?

OK.

[non-english speech] - OK.

Good job, guys. - Great.

Thank you. - Yeah, done.

Come on, Hen.

OK.

PHOTOGRAPHER: OK, hold your pose for one second.

OK.

PHOTOGRAPHER: One, two, three.

Amazing.

PHOTOGRAPHER: OK.

We're doing hairy crab.

JESSICA: I don't like crabs.

I don't like seafood.

CODY: We're going to get slimy.

Oh, suddenly it's raining.

What a surprise.

All right.

Let's do this one.

That is a lot of frigging crabs man.

- How many? - crabs.

What do we gotta do?

Yeah, grab him from behind, I guess.

Ah.

No, he's going to get off there.

Want me to hold him-- I'll hold him-- ow.

Gosh dang it.

Get him!

It runs away.

I don't know what to do.

Ouch.

Aah.

Ouch. Get him.

Here, get him, Alex.

I was a little intimidated by the crabs.

Just be slow with it.

Be slow with it.

Ugh.

I didn't like touching it.

I'm not very good at knots.

It's got to be tighter. It's just--

[inaudible]

No, man.

No, don't let it do that.

We're tying up some crabs fast.

Ugh.

Man, I'm going to try one.

I'm going to try one by myself.

We need to choose our thing of crabs and a basket.

KRISTI: Oh there's a lot of crabs in here.

This is going to take a while.

OK, right here, Kristi.

Come on, man.

I am.

Do you have gloves in your bag?

- Yeah. - Why not use them?

Grab them.

Let's just run up there and do it.

Let's go.

- Did you get a knot? - No.

Ouch.

Is that one?

Yeah.

There we go.

OK, buddy.

I would love you cooperation my friend.

We got this, Jess. Come on.

Those pincers are making me nervous.

They're cruddy.

You got it.

You got it.

Oh hey, guys.

Aah.

Ow.

Be careful, Jess.

Aah.

This is pointless.

I don't want to break my finger.

The crabs were vicious K*llers.

I don't want to do this, man.

Do you want to switch?

Yeah.

All right.

We're leaving.

The crab almost broke the top of my finger off.

All right, let's go.

So I use those for my job.

So I don't want to lose those.

The boys are like totally melting down.

We just got to keep going.

Joe, can we go to the restaurant?

Whatever.

I'm sick of this.

[music playing]

So to the restaurant.

Yeah, we want to do the restaurant instead.

Honestly, I mean, there's just some things

that you're good with doing and some things you're not.

I don't know.

That wasn't it.

I feel like the other three teams

to agreed to freeze us out.

It's right here.

Oh my God.

This is the last clue.

- What do you want to do? - The restaurant one.

OK, great.

This way.

You just have to make sure that you get all the legs in.

Because if you don't get all the legs in,

you're not going to get it right.

They're a little bit slippery, and they're fighting back.

So you're actually trying to tie them as they're fighting back.

And I'm fighting for a million dollars, so we'll see who wins.

Maybe we need to figure out how to do it two at a time.

We didn't think a basket would really be that much.

We didn't think it would be--

KRISTI: Oh, it was a lot of crabs.

JEN: --a downpour.

It was crabs.

- It's OK? - No.

- Not tight. - Not tight?

OK.

EVAN: I think that's IndyCar right there.

OK, cool.

If anything, Connor and Alex being there

was a comforting force, because we

knew that we weren't significantly

behind our competition.

You guys finished the detour already?

No.

We tried to do the crab one.

And my fingers nearly got bit off.

[laughs]

Kimbao restaurant.

This is the market.

So the Main Street must be right here.

The market? How would you know that?

What is it called [inaudible]?

Kimbao restaurant.

[inaudible] Chow Mein Street, , .

Yeah.

This is--

[chinese instrument playing]

[guests speaking non-english]

I'm feeling great.

Very, very confident in Henry.

Henry speaks Mandarin, which we don't know.

And that's a big advantage.

Here's your pen.

Thanks.

Bunch of shrimp.

Oh, and some noodles.

You hungry?

No.

The crab thing was horrible.

I should choose this table.

Hi, guys.

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech]

Uh.

[laughter]

Can I take your order?

[non-english speech]

It was a very difficult detour.

We had to take orders.

[non-english speech]

In a language that I probably will never understand.

Uh, this is impossible.

I have the words in English.

Dude, I'm not kidding you.

As soon as I asked them, they all say it at the same time.

And I'm like, what the heck?

Well, we have to do this one. We can't switch.

OK. How do you--

Dude, how are you--

I mean, are you writing it down in English?

No, definitely not. I'm writing down phonetically.

OK. Hen.

Come on. - OK.

OK. OK.

That was so hard.

They speak so fast. - OK, come on.

Holy crap.

OK.

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech] OK, [non-english speech]..

Perfect.

Give me that one.

OK.

Give me something that has [non-english speech]

OK.

[non-english speech]

Perfect.

Give me that.

OK.

I got it now.

When you get to this point, you pull this over the top.

See how that wraps around that?

I got it now, baby.

I got it now.

Yes.

I know how to tie a hairy crab.

I've always wanted this life skill.

We've probably got about done so far.

We picked the wrong detour.

This is taking so long.

We should have switched.

We all should have switched.

This challenge sucks and I hate it.

Aah.

Jess, I'm doing pretty good.

So we've just got to keep rolling with it, OK?

I think the restaurant one was a better choice to be honest.

All right.

Let's try this again, one more time.

You first.

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech]

The key was to just write down at least two words

that I thought I could hear.

And it was the last two words,

[non-english speech]

All right.

All right.

Thanks.

Alex?

Yes.

What finishes with Kung Pao?

I have da fu, da fu, si so, si guy, da fu, zing ha,

sin wa, fe ge, and tan nam.

It's literally not one of them.

This is insane.

OK.

OK, what about sing yao?

- Yes, I got that. - OK.

So that's one.

Dumb dan si so.

Si so.

Got it.

I just got to remember which [laughs] person that was.

[chinese instrument playing]

Hello.

In the restaurant, you have to get eight orders exactly right.

And one of them is off, you wouldn't get the clue.

I thought that the first four dishes I put down

were not done in a particularly methodical way.

And I wanted to be sure the first time we got it right.

Say it again.

So at that point what I did was, I just retook the orders.

[non-english speech]

Listening to every other order,

so that I could have time to process one order

and just ignore one of them and make sure that I got four

in every other order right.

OK, I'm going to take these back if that's OK.

[non-english speech]

Dish four is yung kai of some kind.

Yung kai. - Yes, got it.

OK.

I think I can do this.

OK.

- That's the yung kai? - Yeah.

I'm only going to deliver four at a time.

Go, go, go.

We got it.

[chinese instrument playing] Excuse me.

We'll go one, two, three, [laughs] and four.

I have no idea if this is right.

Around, around, around.

Yes.

Not exactly what I pictured doing in Hong Kong.

This one's a fighter.

Why? Why?

It's all good.

Cody goes into cyborg mode when he goes into challenges.

And he just conquers anything that's in front of him.

It's insane.

It's going to be fine, Jess.

Don't worry about it.

Alex, the last one is sing fong song sing yao.

Yeah.

That's that.

OK.

Once you served the entire table,

you can replace individual dishes.

So let's just give it a sh*t.

There you go.

Let's hope that's right.

There you go.

Let's hope that's right too.

Here you go.

[laughs] And here you go.

All right.

Where's the maitre [non-english speech]??

[non-english speech]

No.

OK, so three wrong.

OK, three-- these are wrong.

OK, got it.

Oh, hello.

I hope I got it right.

This is the last one.

OK, can we check?

We need to go fast.

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech]

[non-english speech] Congratulations.

Thank you.

Evan, let's get out of here.

OK. Good luck, guys.

[non-english speech]

Good job.

Route info.

Make your way back by taxi to the roof

of central pier number four and search for your next clue.

Go, go, go.

There you go. All right.

Check, please.

Check, please. Let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

[non-english speech]

Thank you so much, man. Thank you.

Thank you. Alex, we got it.

- OK. - Let's go.

Good job, good job, good job.

Let's go.

OK, can you please check our work?

He's checking all of them?

Yeah.

This one's not OK?

CAPTAIN: Yeah, this, like this.

Like this. OK.

This one's bad. Yeah?

CAPTAIN: Bad.

We did work pretty quickly.

But we tied a lot of our crabs the improper way.

So then we had a few to redo.

By a few like--

By like half a basket.

Sir, sir, count ours.

All right.

Ready, Jess?

His are good.

How did they do them so fast?

Claws are out.

Claws out.

The captain's rejected some.

And we're just redoing whatever.

- Is this good? - OK.

All right.

Cut this.

Cut this real quick.

- Is that ? - ?

- Yeah, . - ?

All right. - Yeah.

[laughs]

I'm just doing everything that we can, Jen.

That's all we can do.

I know.

I'm just feeling a little bit sad.

Congratulations.

This is the clue.

Thank you.

- Thank you, sir. - Thank you.

Make your way to by taxi to the roof

of the central pier number four and search for your next clue.

Oh.

[non-english speech]

He said this one was four.

Oh, there it is Hen.

Come on, Henry.

Whoo.

Let's do it.

It looks like we're the first ones here.

All the clues are there.

We're first?

Rode block.

Living in a densely populated city like this

can be a little stressful sometimes.

People here like to blow off a little steam once in a while.

And this is how they do it Hong Kong style.

It's called rage art, the perfect roadblock

for teams who are now so close to the finish line.

It's pretty simple.

Use this bat to break old electronics

and find two halves of a clue.

And just because they can, teams will splatter what they've

destroyed with a gallon of paint to create their own modern art

masterpiece.

OK. Let's go.

I'm going to get smashed.

[inaudible] going to do it.

[laughs] This is amazing.

Ooh.

I'm standing with a briefcase handcuffed to my wrist.

So maybe Henry is going to find a key.

Ready?

You got this, Hen.

Oh.

Oh.

You got this, Hen.

This is awesome.

Ow! OK.

Let go. Let go.

Let go. Let go, buddy.

OK.

Yep, that, yep-- first bite on the last crab.

Come on steel thumbs.

Yes.

It's OK?

These are OK.

- Thank you so much. - Thank you.

All right. We're out of here.

All right.

Go.

It's over here, Alex.

OK.

This is a road block for sure.

You got this, Hen.

Keep going.

[laughs]

My bat broke.

I think it just shows you how much fun I'm having with this.

Who wants to get smashed?

EVAN: Oh!

I do.

I want to get smashed.

EVAN: Good job, Hen.

Holy moly.

Of the roadblocks that I've had to do on the race,

this was one of the more physical.

I wouldn't say I have a lot of aggression.

But it felt pretty awesome to be smashing all of that stuff.

EVAN: Oh!

I would not want to be one of those computers.

Oh, Connor, I'm so jealous.

Take out all of your frustration that you have.

OK.

You just need to hit the hell out of some stuff.

Let's go.

Yeah.

Oh, jeez.

[laughter]

And he broke his first bat.

Yeah.

Thanks.

EVAN: Good job, Henry.

You're a beast.

This is awesome.

Looking for some halves of a clue.

Look for those clues.

You got this.

Oh, there it is.

I got it. EVAN: Nice.

Way to go, Henry.

We got one more left.

I know you're tired, but you're so close.

Think about watching me not be able to sail.

[laughter]

You got this, Hen.

Keep going.

Oh yeah.

I don't see anything.

Oh yeah.

I like that sound.

Beautiful.

Keep doing that man.

You see it?

No.

I'm looking for the other half of the clue.

Here's the clue. Got it.

Oh, yes. Amazing.

Yale b*at us out.

Oh man.

EVAN: Beautiful.

Excellent job, Hen.

You totally crushed that.

Travel by taxi to Lan Kwai Fong.

Teams have their next clue locked to their wrist

in this briefcase.

To open it, they'll search Lan Kwai Fong--

the heart of Hong Kong's nightlife-- for signs

representing specific leg numbers.

If they can remember the correct leg numbers

and put them in the right order, they'll unlock the address

of the next pit stop.

And just to make it harder, each briefcase

has its own unique combination of the three numbers.

Do it.

Oh. Good job, man.

Keep going. You got it.

- I see it. - Yes.

Good job, Connor.

Come on. Come on.

This way, this way.

This seems like it's right up your alley.

Pick this station?

This one right here.

Oh my God.

There it is.

All right.

Nice job, bro.

[laughs] Right on.

Batter up, babe.

Oh my God.

Wow.

Cody is smashing the crap out of some stuff.

[laughs]

It was fun to smash some stuff.

You know, as a child, you find some old stuff

and you start smashing it up with your buddies, you know?

I never did that.

And then you--

Make sure you're looking for the clue.

This is perfect cyborg mode.

Wow.

Who wants to go smash?

I can do it.

X Games just got here.

Yale and Indy just left guys.

Thank you.

Let's go.

You're doing so good, babe.

All right, Kristi. Work quickly.

Not going to be easy.

I'm against Cody.

And the guy is an animal.

Come on, babe.

You're doing great.

Ow.

It was really painful.

Ow.

Are you OK?

No.

She's in a lot of pain.

Ouch.

I don't know how I'm supposed to do this.

This is just awful.

[music playing]

I don't know how I'm supposed to do this.

We need to be in front of a team,

and right now, that team is big brother.

Oh, this is so hard to watch.

Come on, babe.

This is like my worst nightmare, because I

really don't want to be competing against X Games.

I don't know if the roadblock's the end of the leg,

but right now we're competing for last place.

Good job, Kristi.

Good work.

Do you see it?

All right, I got one.

Yes, yes, yes.

We have to arrange signs that represent previous legs

and then use the leg numbers to unlock the briefcase.

So one and Y and Iceland.

Two Belgium, three Morocco, four France?

- San Trope. - San Trope.

You're right. You're right.

This is so smart.

She's so smart.

Five? - Five Provence.

OK, we're here. You can run down.

Oh. OK.

Great.

- [non-english speech] - You ready for this?

I'm ready for this.

Holy moly.

We were combing just an incredibly chaotic

area with tons of people partying

and drinking looking for signs.

And we really didn't know exactly

what we were looking for.

Uh.

We're in a good position right now.

It's all about finishing in the top three.

I know that Captain Marine Cody will get through that thing--

Really quick.

Really quick.

JESSICA: This is it.

Do or die.

Artist.

That a boy.

Nailed it.

All right.

Let's go.

Oh.

I'm giving it everything.

Absolutely everything I have.

Is it good enough?

It's not broken.

Kristi, read your clue.

We're miserable.

Miserable.

- This is D'Agular Street. - OK.

This is the beginning of it right here.

You want to look left, I'll look right?

Sure.

Here's the Lan Kwai Fong right here.

I say we do signs, signs, signs.

Oh, this is my worst nightmare.

[whistles]

Hey, you need to tell me when you're doing stuff.

OK, sorry, sorry.

Is this still a street that we're supposed to be on?

- Yeah, it is. - You see anything?

- Nothing. - Ugh.

You were amazing.

Amazing.

And this cab driver is great.

I can't believe we're racing for the last place

with the X Game [inaudible].

You OK?

Yeah, I'm just looking.

Yeah, you're right.

I feel like if we see a sign, it could be obvious.

You know what I mean?

OK, so this is where the street ends.

Any signs?

What did we do with the bull?

That was in France.

[trumpet call]

Right, so that was leg five.

[inaudible]

So write down five.

We already went this way, right?

Yeah. [interposing voices]

You want to go back that way?

Yeah, let's do it.

Are they going to be consistent signs?

It's so unclear.

Hey, Alex, what about that red hat?

Yeah, yeah.

No, that was leg three, Morocco.

First thing we saw was the bull from France.

And we got Morocco leg three with the little hat.

So I'm hoping that we're on the right track to stay ahead.

Oh.

Uh.

Uh.

Please, Kristi, Kristi, read your clue.

Somebody check it.

You go to read the clue.

You got this, Kristi.

You must demolish all the items when you have

found both halves your clue.

Good job, Kristi.

I know you can do this.

I don't see anything.

You've got this, Kristi.

You got it.

I got half a clue.

Yes. All right.

She's got one half of the clue.

So she needs to find another half of the clue.

Good job, Kristi.

Jen, I'm doing everything I can.

I know you are.

You're doing awesome.

We're so close.

I got it. I got it.

I got it.

Good job, Kristi.

Yes, nice work, Kristi.

Let's get out of here.

Do you think that's like not a sign, or--

This?

Yeah, for the sailing compass thing, yeah.

Let's note it down.

OK.

Is this bull anything?

Bulls.

Yeah, that's Provence.

There were hundreds of signs around us.

And we had no idea exactly what we were looking for.

Red street.

Hey, red is what we did at [inaudible]..

Chocolate, chocolate, Belgium, leg two.

Dead fish.

How are we supposed to know what a sign is?

There they are.

Do you want to work with them?

I don't think they will.

Let's go.

- How are you coming? - What's up?

How are you coming?

You think it's any signs in particular?

[interposing voices]

We wrote down three numbers. But--

[interposing voices]

What kind of signs have you seen?

- We saw the bull. - Yeah, we saw the bull too.

[interposing voices]

We saw Bread Street, because we did

the bread challenge in Nice.

We did the bread detour.

[interposing voices]

And there was a dead fish sign up there.

So that would have been Morocco.

Morocco, yeah.

What do you guys have so far?

We said five, three, four.

We said three, four, five, and two.

We have like four that are possible.

I don't think there's anything other than like keep looking.

We don't really have--

All we can do is keep looking.

You guys want to just go?

We were for sure the first two teams there.

Not only were we struggling, but they were struggling as well.

Spa.

There was a spa in Prague.

We're behind.

We got there last.

It's OK.

You did great.

I'll be OK.

- I think it's not that one. - The San Trope one, four.

Yeah. So I think it's--

So it would be two, three, five.

But let's try it in different orders.

What are the different-- - OK, cool.

Can we do it over here?

We only need to try it on one, because the combination works

for both. - Great.

So I'll do that.

Three, two, five.

Nothing?

Yeah, nothing.

Where should we go?

D'Agular Street. Come on.

Come on. Come on.

Come on.

Oh my gosh.

This is like Mardi gras.

- They're down there. - Yeah.

OK.

Go, go, go, go, go.

Five, two, three.

- Three, five, two. - All right.

Come on.

Come on.

Let's go up here, let's see what's up.

We got nothing.

So do you want to just keep going?

- Yeah. - Cody.

What does the clue say?

Lan Kwai Fong.

There's Cody.

Yeah, we got to keep going.

Big Brother had shown up.

So our lead had essentially evaporated.

And you haven't found anything?

Well, I mean, we've got five, three, four, six, but I mean,

it's just random. Like we have no idea.

What do they look like?

We don't know. We have no idea.

Like look. We thought--

The only thing is that we though that bull

was one of them.

I mean, that's the only yellow and red thing.

OK.

But there's a restaurant called Fire N Ice.

Is that Iceland? - Iceland?

Who knows. I don't know.

I mean--

That sign.

It's the Arc de Triomphe.

Washington Square Park? - Yes.

One.

One, one.

This is the start of "The Amazing Race."

One, three--

That, Morocco, and the bull. What is it?

So the bull was five. One, three, five.

Yale was outside of Hard Rock writing things down.

Yeah, I know.

They're trying to come up with combinations.

Want to try combos of that?

Yeah.

One, five, three.

Nope.

What's next?

Five, one, three.

Oh, got it! Got it!

Oh my God!

Five, one, three.

Whoo!

This brightly lit intersection on the corner of Johnston

and One GI road is the pit stop for this leg of the race.

The first three teams to check in

will be racing for $ million in the final leg.

And the last team will be eliminated.

OK.

We should probably go to this intersection right?

- Yeah. - Cool.

Let's get out of here. Let's go.

Guys, it's not here. Go back up.

- What? - Go back up.

- Henry, stop it. - Go back up?

Are you serious?

I think it's fine.

Oh, yeah, look.

She doesn't want to help.

Go back up.

So they clearly thought it was also five either four or three.

Jess.

They seem to know something. - OK.

Go. Go.

Go. Go.

Go.

Yo, Alex.

France.

Are you seeing something that we don't?

I don't know.

He said, come up here, Henry did.

And then Evan shouted at him.

- Yale got it. - Of course.

Yeah.

So do you think the bull was like five?

- Dude, we have no idea. - All right.

Jess, come on. Come on.

Three, four, five?

We already did that though.

You already did that a bunch of times, didn't you?

You already did three, four, five.

I know.

They know that we're competing for last place.

I know, I know, I know.

- Henry. - Henry.

Oh. - OK, let's go.

We're good? We're good?

Yeah, we're good.

Henry.

Yeah.

I like IndyCar, but it's way too tight to help them, right?

You're right.

That's totally fair.

OK, explain what we're looking for again?

We are looking for three signs representing

previous legs of the race.

We thought maybe we were the last team there.

And then we saw Big Brother.

Hi girl. Hi doll.

Hi.

And we were like, OK, we're not last.

Look.

Is that from Arles?

The bulls were in Les Beaux.

Which would be leg five?

Yeah.

Are we missing something?

I have no idea.

We could not find another sign to save our lives.

You see anything?

No.

Kristi?

Kristi, Kristi.

Look.

A Moroccan hat.

It's yellow and red.

Yeah, the Morocco hat was leg three.

Leg three.

We have a closer relationship with Cody and Jessica.

But it was like an us or them scenario today.

Jen, I gotta tie my shoe.

It's covered in glass.

You OK, Kristi?

Yeah.

We got to just stay silent right now.

Try three, four five.

Put those in in multiple different facets.

Yeah.

So that's not it.

Unless that's-- is that a different monument?

That was the Arc de Triomphe.

Jess, what is it--

Washington Square Park.

That's one. All right.

Let's move away from this.

We only have two numbers.

We only have two.

Stand by one second.

It was one?

The Washington Square Park.

Washington Square Park, which was start day.

So we had five and we had one.

Do a one, three, five.

So Cody had the idea to guess it by process of elimination.

No luck yet.

Now try one, five, four.

One, five, five.

If we're right about Arles and Morocco,

I'm just trying all the combinations with the rest

of the leg numbers.

I'm not getting it.

Unless I've been moving it the wrong way this whole time.

C'mon.

C'mon, do it.

Just ignore them.

Oh! - No luck yet.

What is it? - One, five, three.

One, five, three.

One, five, three.

Yes.

[cheering]

All right.

Let's go.

[cheering]

You did good.

What are we not thinking of?

What are we not thinking of?

Hi, guys.

Who else have you seen here?

We saw Yale leave. They got it.

But I haven't seen Big Brother since.

OK.

Johnston Road, Wan Chai Road.

- Kristi looked so upset. - I know.

I know.

I've never seen her like that before.

Hey, don't give up yet.

This is terrible.

[music playing]

It's right there.

Nine to seven, happy hour, no.

Yeah. no.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help.

Maybe that's France, but that's two legs.

Yeah, no.

That's not it.

Why did he say come up here, that dirtbag?

Guys, it's not here.

Go back up.

Do you think that was a lie?

Well, I mean, Henry is honest.

Evan's not.

Hopefully we're going to the mat and.

We're going to get there before anyone else.

Johnston Road and Wan Chai Road.

We need to keep an eye out for something.

- Thank you so much. - Thank you.

OK. - Let's go, Hen.

We are on Johnston road.

Johnston Road.

Oh my god.

[inaudible] [laughs]

Watch the train.

[honking]

Oh my God.

Let's not get k*lled.

Ugh.

Oh.

Oh!

Welcome to the city of Hong Kong.

- Thank you so much. - Thank you.

Henry and Evan, I am pleased to tell you

that you are team number one.

[laughs]

And you have made Amazing Race history.

Only two other teams have ever completed a speed bump

and won the leg.

Congratulations.

And you are one of the three teams

who will be racing to the finish line for $ million.

Thank you.

That feels pretty great.

Going from worst to first is incredible.

And it just feels great going into the final

knowing that we can absolutely smoke all of these teams.

As one of the final three teams,

you probably want to know where you're going to.

Oh yeah.

I can tell you that it's about , miles away.

[laughs]

They speak a lot of Cantonese.

Any ideas?

San Francisco.

San Francisco.

[laughs]

The other good news is that you're

going to be pampered in Business Premier all the way home

so you get plenty of rest.

Because this next leg of the race will be tough.

Nice.

We're ready for it.

We're ready.

[music playing]

Do you know how far it is?

HOST: What about the other teams?

Did you feel like they were isolating you a little bit?

We thought that there was a chance that the other teams

might be working together.

But we tried not to focus on it.

Jess, we got a run across the road.

All right. Let's go.

Let's go. HOST: All right.

Well, we have another team.

Cody and Jessica, jump on the mat.

You're team number two.

And you are one of the three teams

who will be racing to the finish line for $ million.

You don't look happy.

You can smile.

Losing people gets harder, because we're

friends at this point.

And it's just really--

It's emotional.

Yeah.

Yale is in the final three with us.

Uh--

Definitely puts a wrench in our plan.

We wanted X Games and Indy with us.

I definitely can't choose between the two of them.

I don't really know who's going to pull out this win tonight.

Please try my idea.

Let's do the same numbers. Whatever we want to try.

What are we doing? Five?

Let's try five, three--

Jen, you don't have to do the same numbers.

One will pop, and then the other will pop.

I want to try it my way, because we've

tried it the other way.

Five, three--

Five, three, one.

Down here one more time.

This decides the whole race right

here-- whether we're in or out.

Five, three, two.

Nothing?

You've got to stay with me, otherwise it's not--

[interposing voices]

Five, three, six.

- Five, three, seven. - OK.

I'm sorry. - Let's walk.

I'll do this while we walk.

Very individual, Jen.

I get it, Kristy.

I get it.

I'm just trying to try something else.

Alex.

Alex.

There are two teams that have gone by the sign

that have opened their case. - I know.

We've seen it, dude. We've seen it.

We've seen it. We have it down.

Yes.

Everyone here is hammered.

It's really annoying.

- Thoughts? - You want to--

I don't know.

OK, so let's do what you wanted to do.

Five, three-- we did everything with five, three.

Let's do everything with three, five.

We literally have found the signs.

So either we're doing something wrong with the case or it's

right in front of us, as usual.

And now we're going to go three here.

Three, one, five.

I got it.

Three, one, five.

All right.

Good job, Kristi.

Let's get to our cab.

Where is he?

Is he here?

I think the bull is a wrong thing.

The bull is the wrong thing?

That's the thing that everyone came up with.

Wan Chai Road is right-hand side.

OK.

Thank you so much.

You ready?

Wan Chai is the one on the right.

There's Phil on the mat. - OK.

[interposing voices]

Phil's right there.

Before you say anything, I just need to give you a hug.

Good job.

Welcome to the city of Hong Kong.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Kristi and Jen, this leg was without doubt

your toughest leg.

But there's good news.

You are team number three.

You are one of the final three teams

who will be racing to the finish line for $ million.

If there's one thing we know about you as a team,

you guys do not give up.

You guys are relentless.

And you're also representing whom?

The women.

The women of the world that can do anything.

Only three all-female teams have won "The Amazing Race."

We have a chance.

Will you be the next team?

We feel really good about our odds now.

Is there anybody on this race you guys can't b*at?

No.

No.

Not anymore.

Poor Indy.

Let's go down again.

Three, four, six.

Alex and Connor?

sh**t.

That's not good.

Alex and Connor.

What's up.

Started this leg of the race in pole position.

Unfortunately, the other teams have checked in.

I'm sorry to tell you that you have

been eliminated from the race.

Yeah, man.

Difficult to take for sure.

It's just a shame to go out like this.

You know what I mean?

We didn't even make it to the pit stop.

Look, Connor.

Please hold your head up high.

There are very few teams who make it through

legs of "The Amazing Race."

You guys did.

You gave everybody a run for your money.

If you go in races as a professional race car driver--

And you win three of them.

- --and you win three of them-- - You're looking pretty good.

--those are good stats.

There's a lot of things I'll look back

on with huge positive memories.

"The Amazing Race" was something pretty special.

Very rarely do I get to be in such a competitive environment

outside of a race car.

Woo-hoo!

It was an honor to meet these people and race with them.

Thank you for being part of "The Amazing Race."

It's been awesome, man.

It's been great to just meet you, Phil, my God.

You too.

All right.

The deal was to be moving out when we get back home.

So it could be the end of an era.

I think we'll be able to extend it a month or so.

Now the final three teams will travel across the Pacific Ocean

to San Francisco and race to the finish line

where a million dollars awaits.

Their first stop though is AT&T Park,

where they must find the Say Hey Kid statue, commemorating

the legendary Willie Mays.

Come on, Hen.

Let's do this.

Final three.

There's Jess and Cody.

So the third team should be coming.

- Hey, guys. - What up, what up?

[interposing voices]

Have you guys seen who it is yet?

No.

Oh my God.

Oh my goodness.

Oh man.

Holey moley.

Congratulations.

To be honest, Team Extreme is definitely

a really, really strong team.

So as much as we like them, it was a little bit of a not great

surprise to see that they would also be

our competition in the final.

We're just happy to be here.

That was freaking brutal.

That was hard fought.

Indy was a great team.

It sucks losing them.

They were friends.

But we're going up against two really strong teams still.

So we just have to stay focused and keep our eye on the prize.

Let the best man or woman win.

Are you guys excited to be going to the finals?

- Yeah, definitely excited. - Yeah, totally.

Super excited.

We've beaten those teams before.

I don't have any doubt that we can move

through challenges faster than

Them we'd like to get checked in for our flight please.

Now we just have one more thing to take care of,

which is a win in this final leg.

I want to win more than the money.

I just want to win it.

Yeah.

I want the money.

Money works too.

We're checking our bags in so that in San

Francisco while running the race,

we won't have extra weight.

We survived a U-turn.

We survived a speed bump the last leg.

We even survived the free race after racing seven times.

We totally do have the ability to bring it home.

And that's what matters.

It looks crazy.

We're going to be well-rested when we hit the ground.

More importantly, we're going to win.

Final three.

Cheers to that.

There's a lot of things that have to go into this next leg.

And we have to be the most on that we have been thus far.

Just a million dollars.

No pressure.

It wasn't as easy as I thought it would

be to make it to final three.

We faced tough competitors throughout the entire thing.

We can't make any mistakes whatsoever.

Every team is going to be on point.

- Cheers. - Cheers.

[laughter]

We know we can win this.

Are we ready to take it home?

We are ready to take it home.

And we're going to the finals.

[music playing]

There we go.

Come on, Hen.

Right there.

[interposing voices]

Just grab a cab.

Do you know where the Say Hey Kid statue is?

- AT&T Park? - Yes.

OK.

Say Hey Kid statue.

We could just start driving out of the airport,

and we'll in the back just look for it.

Yeah, exactly. Good idea.

It smells like America.

This is my place.

[laughs]

I'm not a world traveler at all.

Follow them.

Follow them.

Keep up with them.

That's our competition.

We can't let them b*at us.

We feel pretty good going head to head against these teams

in challenges.

% of the time, we finished in front of at least one

of them so--

Yeah.

That's the girls right up there in that green one.

- Oh really? - I think so.

Oh, nice.

For an entire month of racing really,

really hard is going to come down

to the next couple of hours.

As fast as you can.

Don't be scared.

Oh, we won't be.

I see lights in the stadium.

Oh my God. Oh my God.

Oh my God.

That's the statue right there?

OK.

Thank you.

Clue box.

Pull some balls from the drink.

HOST: You might not think that kayaks and baseball

have anything in common.

But if you're a Giants baseball fan,

you'll know that this is where you can pick up

prized baseballs-- home runs that have been hit out

of the park into McCovey cove, commonly

known as a splash landing.

Teams must search among hundreds of baseballs

and find these numbers to get their next clue.

Find three numbered baseballs to represent the career

runs Willie Mays hit.

Should we ask someone?

- No, just go. - Is this the statue?

Yeah, I see the clue.

- Oh, that's the statue. - Perfect.

Perfect, right here. - We're good.

Pulls from balls from the drink.

Find three numbered baseballs to represent

the career home runs Willie Mays hit during his stellar baseball

career.

We need to find the right numbers.

For us--

Pier would be--

- As quickly as possible. - Is it that way?

- OK, great. - Let's go.

Come on, Henry.

Let's go, let's go.

Do you know about the home runs that Willie Mays hit?

Any speed you could do this with would be great.

It was hard at the moment to slow

down to find the number of career runs

that Willie Mays had.

But at the same time, I was like, well,

they're going to have to get that information at some point

too.

And it seems like it's better to do it now than from a boat.

Right there.

home runs.

All right.

Thank you so much.

Kayak.

Do you see him?

I don't.

Aah.

Cody, what happened?

Twisted my ankle again.

Stop for a second, babe.

OK.

Let's do this.

OK.

He's in the back.

OK.

I twisted that one bad.

You run as fast as I do with a pulled ankle babe.

Pier .

Is it?

The kayak?

Yeah.

There's the kayaks.

There's one over here.

Here you go.

- I'm in. - Ready?

OK, let's go.

Find three numbered baseballs.

And you need to call out how to paddle it.

- Left, right-- - We should be--

Left.

Shouldn't we be going on opposite sides?

OK, sure.

- Are you getting nice and deep? - Yeah.

Right.

You in?

Yeah.

One million dollars.

One million dollars.

Kristi and Jen are right behind us.

Trying to find the numbered balls

to represent the number of home runs that Willie Mays hit.

I think they're going to chuck them to us.

[music playing]

What is that?

They're literally throwing them.

I saw it splash in the frickin' water.

Oh my God.

What is happening?

You know we're looking for six, six, zero.

Which I'm not sure anyone else knows.

We don't know the correct number.

- Oh God. - Five.

Five. Grab that.

Here's another one.

Three.

What are the numbers we're looking for?

OK Henry, you really need to start

thinking and stop the indecision and stuff like that.

It doesn't say what numbers they are.

I need you to communicate with me,

because I feel like I'm strategizing alone.

Coming in hot.

Oh, we're going to hit them.

Left.

- You mean right? - Oh wait.

We're going to crash.

Oh God.

Oh.

You mean right? - Yeah, I meant right.

I'm sorry.

OK. Come on.

It's right there, six.

And it's one we need.

It's one we need.

I got it.

Hey, are you grabbing it?

You're just not talking.

Oh, I got one.

I got one that says three.

You got it?

Do you see the one that's going right by us?

Six.

- There's one right there. - Where?

Right there.

Right there.

Good.

I don't think there's any numbers

except for the right ones.

There's one here.

Great job, babe.

OK, I got one.

It's coming right at me. - Slow.

Slow.

Oh what was that? Zero?

Yes. Oh wow.

This is when we know how to dig deep.

I'm with you.

Here we go, Hen.

The umpire.

Should we go?

.

No.

Let's just try all of the possible combos.

- ? - No.

- ? - No.

There might be other numbers.

Let's just think for one second.

How would we actually find this number?

By looking it up ahead of time and knowing.

[inaudible]

- It's an eight. - There it is.

There it is. - No, but it's a two.

So these are all no's.

This could take a while.

Ball check?

Five, three, two? - No.

See, they have a two.

There are other numbers.

- Three, two, five? - No.

Two, three, five?

- No. - All right.

What should we do?

Are we allowed to ask someone on the pier to google it?

Oh, I'm sure.

They're going to ask someone what it is.

Sir.

Sir.

Do you have a phone?

Yeah.

Can you tell us how many home runs Willie Mays hit?

Go closer.

What?

Let's get it-- let's go closer.

.

?

Yeah, sir, tell the world.

Hen.

Do we have those numbers?

We don't. We don't.

What do we need?

What do we need, Henry?

Zero.

EVAN: By the time we found out what the correct number was,

we had two sixes.

At that point, we were just focused on looking for a zero.

Start checking these balls.

What is that?

A six.

OK.

We have one six.

Is that a zero?

That's it.

Get it.

OK, so now we need one six.

Yes.

We have a six and a zero.

We think we need one more six.

OK, I got it.

That's a six. We got it, Kristi.

Let's go.

We got to find the umpire.

Paddle straight.

Paddle straight.

Six, I got it. Let's go.

You got it?

Hi, sir.

We found our numbers we think.

What numbers you have?

.

You're out of here.

Go to your team zodiac.

Did they get it?

I don't know, Henry, because it doesn't matter.

.

You're out of here.

All right.

Roadblock.

Who brought an extra pair of underwear?

The Bay Bridge is lit by an art

installation called the Bay Lights,

created by Leo Villarreal.

Working with the creative art organization Illumine.

In the center of this famous bridge

is an anchorage that has more concrete than New York's

Empire State Building and is larger

than the Great Pyramid of Giza.

It will now serve as the highest ascender climb in the history

of "The Amazing Race."

Starting at the base, teams will use jumars

in an attempt to pull themselves over feet

to the top of the anchorage.

Once they've completed the story climb,

they'll go inside the anchorage to face

what is surely the world's most terrifying freefall.

As they jump into the pitch black abyss

of this awe-inspiring structure.

If they get out alive, they can pick up a clue,

reunite with their partner, and continue racing.

- You should do it, Kristi. - I'll do it.

You should do it.

Team Zodiac?

Thanks a lot, Babe.

I'll do it. All right.

Let's go.

Did a team get in front of us?

Did you see?

That's annoying.

OK, come on.

Do you think that far one is a zero?

God. Oh my God.

Henry, you need to communicate with me, because I don't know

what you want me to do, which side

you want me to paddle, nothing.

OK.

That one, Henry.

OK great. I got it.

Grab it. Here, let's go.

OK.

Here you go, sir.

.

You're out of here.

OK.

OK cool.

We need to talk, OK?

OK.

You're saying I did not speak to you enough.

I would ask you a bunch of questions,

and you just wouldn't respond.

OK, yeah.

I will try my best to like speak.

This is amazing.

Stay focused for the rest of it.

So beautiful.

Pretty far behind again.

Yeah.

Do you want to climb that?

Good job, babe.

Jessica, let's go.

- You've got this, Kristi. - Oh man.

What is that?

Crazy.

This is an intense situation.

It's highly stressful.

Everything about this race is scary.

Oh, look.

They just got here.

It was frustrating to see we're in last.

But Henry and I stack up against these teams

really, really well even when we're at a disadvantage.

And I'm putting a harness on.

So I'm doing something with heights.

It's like so scary.

Babe, you're going to do great.

You're going to reach up as far as you can with your hands.

Right.

And you're going to push with your legs up.

OK.

Jessica, it's the perfect challenge for me.

You got this, babe.

You got this, babe.

Part of me feels like Henry might have been better at it,

because it looks like it requires

some upper body strength.

But I'm going to do my best.

Oh my God.

This is so, so scary.

Yeah, Kristi.

Yeah, frogger.

Actually to push the thing up and then stand up with my legs.

Right.

So fortunately, I could use my skier legs.

Yeah.

You've got this babe, good job.

Great job, babe.

I think Evan's got this.

I bet those leg days will come in handy.

Oh my God.

The process of getting up the bridge was really exhausting.

Cardiovascularly, I was panting.

I was trying not to focus on them,

and more just thinking about how I could

get up as quickly as possible.

Your butt looks great from down here, babe.

Hen, why can't I hear you? Come on.

[laughter]

Your butt look great too, Evan.

Kristi is doing really well.

She almost caught up to Cody.

And now they've been staying about the same distance apart.

$ million, guys.

Let's go.

Miles apart.

Come on.

Really, really high up.

Ooh, rah.

Grab the rail.

Good job, Cody.

That's hard work.

You're going to walk down to the first station.

This is amazing.

What is this?

I didn't know what was going to happen when they

brought me into the anchorage.

I just saw a bunch of smoke everywhere,

and there were three like walk the plank type thing.

That climb was hard work.

It was all I had to get up that as fast as I did.

Kristi is behind me.

She's doing actually pretty good.

Yale, I'm not sure who they picked,

but they're way, way back there.

You got this, Ev!

Ugh.

Keep it up, Ev, you're getting there.

I'm sure that's super tiring.

Ugh.

It almost looks like there's some planks.

Maybe they're going to be bungee jumping off.

Get your butt down here, baby.

You can take small steps to the edge of the platform

and step into space.

OK.

Oh my God.

What is happening?

All right.

Don't k*ll me.

Oh my God.

What's going to happen?

This is so cool.

You look so cool.

Oh my God.

[music playing]

Oh my God.

What is happening?

Yes, Cody.

All right.

Don't k*ll me.

Oh my God, what's going to happen.

Aah!

All right.

[laughs]

Can I get out there?

Make your way to Golden Gate--

Yeah.

--cheese factory?

OK.

OK.

Get in your boat.

Great job, Ev.

Great job.

So a couple of minutes-- a couple of seconds

could always matter a lot.

That's how close the margins are in this race.

Ugh.

Yeah, Kristi.

Don't k*ll me.

I hate tall buildings.

And if you ask me to walk out on somebody's

balcony that was storeys high,

I'd be like, no, I'm good.

[laughs] Aah!

Whoo!

Woo-hoo!

[clapping]

That was intense.

I definitely was scared.

But I'm glad I got through it.

All right.

We're out of here. Boat?

Yeah.

Keep it up.

You're so close.

Great job.

Great job.

Great job, Ev, you did it.

Let's go.

I think I'm about minutes behind Cody,

and half minutes behind Kristi.

Definitely took a while.

[laughs]

It could be bread, it could be a cr*cker.

Right now we're trying to find the Golden

Gate some kind of factory.

We can't tell what the photo is.

If it's a piece of cheese, bread, cr*cker--

we're not entirely sure.

But we are at the Golden Gate Bridge.

So we know it's going to be someplace close.

The Golden Gate Cheese Factory?

Pancake?

Cookie?

We're right behind them, Jen.

So be ready to jump off the boat.

I'm ready.

Go, go, go.

- X Games is right there. - All right.

Go. Go.

Go. Go.

We got to hurry.

And there it goes our lead.

Thank you.

Oh my gosh. Let's go.

Let's go. Let's go.

Let's go.

Excuse me.

Could you type in your Golden Gate something factory.

Well, there's a Chinese Golden Gate fortune cookie place.

Oh, that's probably it then.

San Francisco is home to the largest Chinese community

in North America.

And contrary to popular belief, fortune cookies

weren't invented in China.

They were invented right here.

Three billion are now made every year.

If teams can make perfect ones,

their fortune will be their next clue.

Thank you. [interposing voices]

- Thank you. - Good luck.

- Thank you. - That doesn't look like brad.

That looks like a pancake. - Golden Gate--

Fortune cookie factory.

- Good luck, girls. - Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Great job, Ev.

Just keep going. Nice.

Nice.

You got this, Ev.

Aah!

Aah!

[laughs] Oh my God.

Oh my God.

My own screams scared me.

Wow.

We're going to go out, and we're going to grab our life jackets

and get back on the boat.

OK.

You get it?

Route info.

Make your way to gold and gate--

Golden Gate fortune cookie factory.

Cookie master, can you show us how to make the cookies?

The Cookie master is going to show us a full demo.

OK.

Fold upwards and bend downwards.

You're going to go first?

Yeah.

These are really hot.

Oh, gloves, gloves, gloves.

OK.

Oh, they're really hot.

But I'm going to eat one.

All right.

Are you going first, or me?

I think I'll try it.

We needed to make a tray each of fortune cookies.

Put your clue in, you fold it kind of like a taco.

And then you bend it in half.

And you have to do it quickly, because otherwise

the dough will start to cr*ck.

I'm burning my fingers.

Good job, Kristi.

Kristi needs to make a full tray of these cookies.

And then I have to make a full tray of the cookies.

Thank you.

Thank you.

So do you think we should just get a taxi

and then ask the taxi driver?

That's not a bad idea.

- Hi, sir. - Hi, sir.

Do you happen to know where this might be?

Is there a factory-- - Google it.

Google it? OK, great.

Is that OK? - Do you have a--

OK, great.

It looks like Kristi has got almost

an entire tray done already.

Sorry.

You're doing great, babe.

I really hope you're fast at this.

I'm going to be fast at this.

Can you check these so far?

OK.

Am I good?

Oh my gosh.

Calm down, babe, you're good.

I don't think I am.

Judge?

Oh no.

You're going to have to redo those.

OK?

[laughs] All right.

Perfect.

She just finished her first tray.

Try to make them equal.

There you go.

There you go.

These gloves get stuck to everything.

This is really annoying.

Maybe one hand with the glove and one not?

I started with the gloves on and then ditched one glove.

Because the gloves would've made it really

hard to pick up the clues.

So left fingertips are a little scorched, but--

The burns will be worth it.

And Yale is here.

I don't know how they caught up to us.

- We must each make a full tray. - OK.

Your turn.

Cody just finished his first try.

And we're going to switch spots.

And I'm going to do a tray before we

can get our next clue.

Perfect.

It's a beautiful cookie.

Coming into the challenge third place.

My mindset is, we've got to make up as much time as possible.

We both saw the other teams there, which is always

comforting when you're in last.

It's not good, Jess.

Just take your time.

He's throwing some of them away.

Yeah.

It's no good?

Just keep going.

Don't worry about that.

Check?

Jen and Kristi are getting theirs checked.

It's OK?

Oh my gosh, Jen, cookie.

Ready?

Yeah, break it.

Find your next clue at the USS Hornet.

Thank you.

Big Brother was there before us.

And we did it really quickly.

This is really frustrating.

We were the first team to arrive,

but things changed really fast.

Now we're competing for last place.

Ugh.

Steer.

He's leading the way.

Woo hoo.

All we gotta do is get through this one.

Check?

These are all gorgeous. - OK.

Thanks.

OK.

All right.

We switched.

Evans up there now.

How do I still have so many to do?

If you have the corners right, then it'll

just go like how you want. Yeah.

- Like that? - Yeah, that's great.

What am I doing wrong, babe?

You're sort of mashing them.

Just try and be careful when you do the fold.

There you go. Perfect.

That one's perfect.

I don't want to get ahead of ourselves.

But I feel like we're doing well on this.

Yeah. Halfway there.

Keep it up.

Two more.

One more.

You're almost done.

Thank God.

I think they just finished.

Find your next clue at the USS Hornet.

Let's go.

We need to find a cab.

Let's go up here.

Awesome.

How did we get a taxi around here?

[inaudible] Get me a taxi.

Get me a taxi.

There's a cab up there.

Which way?

Oh my gosh.

Like why is this happening right now?

Hello, sir.

Taxi.

And that's Yale.

There's Jess and Cody.

We just passed them.

We saw Yale, and we knew that we were back at last.

Hopefully we'll be able to put some distance

between us and them.

But you never know with the race what's going to happen.

So just got to keep chugging.

This is ridiculous.

[music playing]

There's a taxi.

Hi, go ahead.

Right now, we are heading to the USS Hornet.

We're a few miles away.

And we are in third place.

Awesome.

Perfect.

This is it.

HOST: This is the USS Hornet--

a battle-tested aircraft carrier that survived

att*cks during World w*r II.

She was also the primary recovery

ship for NASA's Apollo mission

when man landed on the moon.

Today, the USS Hornet will serve as the finish line for season

of "The Amazing Race."

But first, teams have to build a plane

at the other end of the runway.

First, they'll have to search the Hornet for pieces

of a plane, which are spread out among more

than , compartments over seven decks

and a length of nearly feet.

Then assemble it so all legs of the race

are represented by symbols like this.

It will be this season's most difficult

test of both physical endurance as well as mental strength.

The first team to complete building their plane

and land on the Mac will win $ million and "The Amazing Race."

Both of us search and find the parts.

Then one of you must choose the correct parts

to assemble your plane.

The flight deck's upstairs.

Uniforms.

And we carry all the parts up here.

We had to make our way to the flight deck

to pick out a plane.

Doesn't matter.

Red's easy to see.

OK, let's do red.

Good plan.

And then we have to find parts that

were just scattered throughout this ship that

matched our fuselage.

So we had a gray and red plane.

So we had to go find the gray and red parts.

And we just go.

We got to move quick but diligent.

I'm looking in this one.

OK.

Let me look over here.

Let's check the deck.

Here's one.

- OK. - I got it.

I got it. I got it.

I have one of our wings which makes me happy.

There's another wing. - Where?

You grab that one. Gray and red.

Yeah.

These should be the heaviest parts.

You want to go up with them?

Yeah.

OK.

So [inaudible]

Route info.

This is it.

This is it.

There are Cody and Jess.

Clue box.

This is it.

Search the USS Hornet for airplane parts.

Wha?

Clue?

Clue, yeah.

Why is there another wing?

You look cute.

White plane?

Let's do it.

All right.

Didn't expect two sets of wings.

No, this-- [interposing voices]

Let's just search here.

So we're looking for white wings and a white tail.

That could be something.

I don't think so.

No?

Look around here.

Look behind everything.

I got it, Kristi.

OK, well this level is frickin' huge.

So--

OK.

Uh, let's bring this back.

Really?

All the way back?

It's going to slow us down a lot while looking.

Can we put it all in one place?

As we were picking up the pieces,

we were noticing different stickers on the pieces.

Because we knew at the end we would have to put the pieces

on our fuselage to assemble a plane with one sticker

for each leg of the race.

Wow, this place is insane.

CODY: The ship is massive.

And we have to search the entire ship for different parts.

Seriously, you can get lost in this thing left and right.

This thing's like a maze.

There.

There, there, there.

Right there. Two.

There's one on each side.

[inaudible]

Yeah, go.

This is a massive ship.

This is crazy.

White.

OK.

- Let's head back. - All right?

Oh, Kristi, propeller.

Found one?

Hey, wait, wait. Right here.

- You got it? - Yeah, here.

Can we keep that one with us right now and keep searching?

It's small enough.

Yeah, totally.

We have seven pieces.

[inaudible]

Where did you just find that?

Oh my God.

I turn around, and he just pulls a propeller out of his butt.

Henry, where are you?

Evan, I'm right here.

There was a ladder directly in front of you.

Oh, here's another one.

Yes.

Scorpions.

That was Thailand.

We got another one.

Are we good? Jess?

You find another one?

He's on a roll.

OK, what is this one.

This one is--

Let's go.

This is Prague.

My brains already assembling the plane.

Can you look at these signs real quick?

Like this is baseball.

Maybe there's Hong Kong--

It's today.

You know with the Hong Kong thing.

But then, there's another thing that's clearly a different leg.

Right? - OK.

What is your point?

That's irrelevant right now.

We need to find all of the things.

OK. OK.

OK.

Two problems.

Oh.

Did we look under the beds-- everything?

We searched up on the beds.

We don't want to leave a room that we have to come back to.

We cannot afford to come back.

It's crazy how big this place is.

They did not make this easy.

That's for sure.

It's like there's a million dollars

on the line or something.

Oh, right here.

Right here. - Nice.

Do you want me to take one?

Yeah.

So here's the thing, Jess.

I have a feeling that all the parts are doubled.

And then you have to find the appropriate thing for each.

Oh, yes.

Does that mean we have all of them?

- Yes. - OK.

Let's get out of here as fast as we can.

We have one piece left.

One piece.

Here. We found it.

Oh my--

OK. You have to wait.

I have to do this.

OK.

Kristi did the last roadblock.

So I had to assemble the plane entirely on my own.

Let's try some things.

And then look at it.

I have to do this by myself.

All of the pressure from the entire race,

everything that we have worked so hard for,

it was placed on my shoulders.

And that was inside.

Gosh.

[inaudible]

Good luck, Jen, fast as you can.

I don't know where the heck all these pieces

go when there's far more pieces than there

are holes in the thing.

So the first thing I noticed, we had pieces of this plane.

And as soon as I got up here, I was like,

oh, OK, there's only six slots.

You only need to put six pieces on this plane.

So there's duplicates of things, and you have

to find the right combination.

Because we're looking for images

that represented different legs of the race.

And you had to have each leg represented

somewhere on your plane.

Oh.

I get it.

I get it.

That could be Prague.

So if this is--

It was hard, because there were some pictures

that were the same on one part as other parts.

And you really just had to be really meticulous

and pay attention.

Because you could easily like put two countries on the plane

at the same time.

[inaudible] This was Prague.

CODY: We are neck and neck with X Games, of course.

They are the most consistent team throughout this race.

And sure enough, we showed up at the same time

with all parts.

This is going to come down in minutes with X Games--

if not seconds.

I think we should take this big piece in both of our hands

and then put--

What, put stuff on it?

Yeah, exactly.

OK.

I don't know how this is going to work with the stairs.

We need to have one photo that represents

each leg of the race.

So only six of these parts need to be used.

It's going to be a race to the finish line.

I'm feeling good.

It's Jen versus Jess.

I like Jen's odds.

Elephants were Thailand.

Elephants, there's elephants.

Tigers were Zimbabwe.

This is Africa.

And then this is Bahrain.

This was the last task--

the million dollars was on the line.

And I have been studying everything that we've

done thus far in the race.

But the pictures were difficult.

What is this?

[phone ringing]

I don't know what that is.

Oh my god.

It's OK.

We're in pretty good shape.

Can I get a check?

Crazy when the finish line is in sight

and you're watching your teammate do something,

and you just can't help.

You're not clear to take off.

OK.

I really wish I could write things down.

The scorpions were Thailand.

[rattling]

Aah!

All right.

Let's do this.

You got it, Henry.

Take a second and think.

That one-- no, because the bats were freakin' ugh.

Bats were Hong Kong too.

Great job, Kristi.

Wings on, wings off.

Now, I don't have anything for Bahrain.

You only need six pieces to build a plane.

And you had pieces overall that we'd

found on the ship, which meant we had extra pieces.

So it was possible for you to example

have two stickers representing one leg of the race

and then no stickers representing some other leg.

Can I get a check, please?

Come on.

You're not clear for takeoff.

No.

This is Bahrain.

That's a hell of a puzzle they're trying to solve.

That doesn't work, because then where's Iceland?

Come on, Hen, you can figure this out.

This is a helmet.

Did we do racing?

Yee-haw

What is a helmet?

We wore a helmet like this in Iceland.

Iceland.

Morocco would be the fish on the front.

Good job, Kristi, we're almost there.

Almost there.

They want us to get down and dirty on this one.

Come on, Hen, you got this.

Hen, I believe in you.

You've got this.

Come on, Henry, you can do this.

Oh my God.

She's so annoying.

God, it must be difficult. I need to look at everything side

by side to figure out what represents what so that I'm

not duplicating places.

Come on, Henry, you can do it.

There are some stickers that I was just not

sure what the stickers were.

But I feel like I try to approach

these things methodically.

And at that point, the only thing to do

was to try different combinations

to get through all of the possible combinations

for the unknown stickers.

I believe in you, Henry.

You'll figure this out.

Come on, hen, you're catching up.

I wish she would stop talking.

Focus, Jessica.

You can do it, Hen.

Can I got a check?

Come on, Hen.

Plane is not clear for takeoff.

Keep going, bud.

Come on, Henry.

Plane is not clear.

Yeah.

Can I have a check, sir?

You can do this, Hen.

Henry, you got this.

You're not clear to take off.

Great.

Can I have a check, please?

You're not clear for takeoff.

OK.

I just kept checking it and checking it.

And when it was wrong, I just went back to the drawing board.

And I just didn't give up.

Can I please get a check.

You are not clear to take off.

OK.

Check?

This plane is not clear.

Oh my God.

I can't--

I can't figure it out.

Come on, Hen, you got this.

Oh my God, tell her to shut up.

It's OK, Jen.

Kristi, I don't even see it.

I don't-- I just--

I can't even.

We can do this, Henry.

Henry, keep going.

Come on.

I got it.

Can you just be quiet for a second.

Thanks.

What am I missing?

Can I get a check?

Oh my.

This plane is not clear.

Oh my God.

This is-- - I'm sorry.

This plane is not cleared for takeoff.

Oh my God.

Come on, Jen.

Just figure out the puzzle, my girl.

What am I missing?

[music playing]

We really want this win.

We've worked really hard this entire race.

We've been consistent.

We really want it.

But right now, it's coming down to a puzzle.

What am I missing?

I'm pretty sure the wings are correct.

I'm pretty positive the wings are correct.

It's these back here that are throwing me off.

This is really pretty crazy that it's come down to this.

Check.

What country am I forgetting?

This plane is not cleared.

It's all evened up.

It's whoever solves the puzzle.

I hate that I can't do this.

It just has to be so difficult.

Because they keep asking to get it checked, and it's wrong.

You can do it, Hen.

Just think about it.

Trust yourself, Hen.

Good job, Hen.

Nine.

Can I get a check?

This has been fun and all, but I'd really like to be done now.

We're not clear for take off.

I feel like I'm getting closer.

I have no idea what this represents.

Welcome to [inaudible] light in Bahrain.

Thank you very much.

Oh, I have two helmets.

This is wrong.

Can I get a check?

OK.

Bahrain.

What do I have representing Bahrain?

I don't have anything for Bahrain.

So these two need to switch.

I got it.

I got it.

You're clear for takeoff for your final destination.

[laughs]

Please taxi your plane to your shipmate.

Roll it.

Roll it.

Roll it.

Ugh.

Ugh.

This way.

All the way here.

All the way here.

All the way here.

This way. This way.

Oh my God.

This way.

Oh my god.

[inaudible]

[applause]

Oh my God.

[laughs]

[cheering]

Baby, we did it.

[laughs]

Did we do it?

Nine countries, cities, more than , miles.

Cody and Jessica, I'm pleased to tell you,

you have won "The Amazing Race," and you

have won the $ million.

Congratulations.

Oh my God.

Oh my God.

Cody, you look kind of stunned right now.

I mean, you look kind of speechless.

I can't believe it.

[laughter]

He's smiling at least, right?

I'd be smiling like the too if I had a million dollars.

[laughter]

Seriously, Cody, your teammate came

through for you in the end.

Absolutely.

And Jessica was the foundation for my strength

throughout this entire thing.

I wouldn't have been able to do anything without her.

I mean, everything that I've ever felt and known

about Jessica has just been validated

throughout this entire experience.

I mean, running "The Amazing Race" made me realize how many

blessings that I have in life.

Now I have a foundation as far as money goes to set

up a family for ourselves.

I'm just glad I got to do it here with the love of my life.

The future looks really bright, and I'm really excited.

We will be together for a long, long time.

That's for sure.

Yeah.

We're not going anywhere.

Can you check one more time.

You are clear to your final destination.

Please taxi your plane to your shipmate.

Thank you.

Amazing job.

It's OK, Jen.

And look how close the finish was.

We have another team running in right now.

[cheering and applause]

Congratulations.

Good job guys.

Thank you.

Henry and Evan, you guys were so close.

I said at the beginning that this

would be the most competitive cast that we've ever had.

And look how close this finish was.

I mean, we're talking minutes.

You're right.

It was really close.

That's it. [laughter]

Oh, I mean, we're happy to be here too.

I think we're obviously a little bit disappointed

about second place.

But I'm so proud of us for making it this far.

And we'll be OK.

And we know how to take away the wonderful memories and all

of the positives that you can get from an experience

even if you don't get the result that you hoped for.

Super grateful to have gotten to go

through this entire process with all these cool people.

They never made it easy.

We'll put it that way.

Exactly.

So glad that we got to run "The Amazing Race,"

and in particular got to run "The Amazing Race" together.

Check please.

You're cleared for your final destination.

Good work, Jen.

Push it to the line.

So mad at myself.

Kristi, I'm sorry.

It's OK.

[crying] [inaudible] I'm sorry.

Let's jog to the line, huh?

[cheering and applause]

How do you feel right now?

I mean I-- maybe--

I feel horrible.

That was a really hard moment.

And I just I feel like I let her down.

No, you didn't.

I don't think Kristi thinks you let her down.

I don't think she thinks that at all.

I know it's hard to think about right now.

[applause]

It's pretty unbelievable that you finished on the podium

every single leg of this race.

We never finished below third on this race.

It's going to take a little bit to get

over what happened tonight.

But yeah, when we get a little further away from the race,

I think we'll be able to look back and feel really good

about it and be really proud.

And it was a really special experience.

It was an amazing journey.

[interposing voices]

It was truly an amazing experience to run this race.

And we're still very grateful for the opportunity.

We loved every minute of it.

[interposing voices]

I think one of the best things that we got out of the race

was just a set of really incredible experiences.

So those are all going to turn into really wonderful memories

that we'll be able to share together

for the rest of our lives.

[interposing voices]

My daughter gets to see this--

when she gets to see her dad win.

And you know, I want to show her how to win,

and finally I was able to do that.

[cheering and applause]
