Charlie: Mom, can you help me with my homework?

Yasmine: Go and ask your dad.

Charlie: Dad, can you help me with my homework?

Myles: Can it wait a while, please?

Charlie: Well, I want to get it done!

Myles: Hey, smart guy. Help your cousin.

Dylan: Come on, son. I'mma help you.

Yasmine: How was school?

Charlie and Dylan: Boom! Myles: Whoa!

You got an "A."

Charlie: You should have seen him!

The teacher challenged him to a rap contest!

Dylan: * You out of your league *

* You don't even know it

Charlie: Then she let him teach the class through rap.

We all got the questions right!

Yasmine: I love that. Myles: We're doing it.

Dylan: Just like a producer taking credit

for the artistes' work, man.

I'm telling you if it don't make dollars,

then it don't make cents.

Charlie: Oh, that's good.

Dylan: I know it is, Chuck.

Money's all that matters.

Cash over everything.

Charlie: Well, sure, what about--

Dylan: Naw, man. Naw.

Whatever you're gonna say, money first.

Then you can just buy everything else.

Charlie: What about friends and family, though?

Dylan: You can buy them, too, for the right price.

Charlie: I wish that was-- Dylan: Aah!

Don't scare me like that, cuz, unless you trying to get got.

Rebecca: Yeah, OK.

Charlie: Where are Mom and Dad?

Oh, no! No, no! No!

Dylan: What, what, what?

Rebecca: Mom and Dad left for the day,

and they put me in charge.

Charlie: That's what.

Dylan: "Staying home alone rules.

For emergencies, call ."

Charlie: "Or call Grandma."

Dylan: I'm going with .

"Don't open the door for anyone!"

- Who's anyone? - I don't know.

I don't anyone either.

"Don't leave the house!

Keep all doors locked!"

Duh!

Charlie: "If Mom or Dad call, answer."

Rebecca: That's right. Those are the rules.

See, this is my chance to show that I am responsible,

and if I do, I figure mom and dad might let me

go to the dance.

Charlie: Ha! That's not gonna happen.

Rebecca: You don't know that.

Charlie: But I do, though.

Rebecca: But you don't. Charlie: But I do.

- But you don't. - But I do!

- But you don't. - But I do!

- Charlie! - Fine! Geez!

Maybe they will.

Rebecca: As I was saying,

this is my chance to get on Mom and Dad's good side.

Dylan: OK. Bet, but what does it mean for us?

Rebecca: It means that I'm in charge

and you two have to do what I say,

and what I say is for you two sit right here

in these two chairs and not move.

Dylan: But what if my foot falls asleep?

Ignore it.

Charlie: What if I have to go to the bathroom?

Hold it.

Dylan: What if wild dogs get in the house

and start chasing us?

Then I hope you got your rabies sh*ts.

Dylan: Ha! Whatever! Charlie: Yeah, right.

Rebecca: Wait, wait, wait, wait!

I didn't mean it.

I just need you guys to stay inside

and not burn the house down, OK?

Otherwise, I don't care what you do,

so please can you just help me on this?

Charlie: Yeah, OK.

Rebecca: Dylan?

Dylan: Sure. I got you.

Rebecca: Great! Thanks!

Dylan: For a price!

Rebecca: I knew it!

* There once was a kid from the city of Chi *

* Ma knew I was important, not a regular guy *

* Everybody follow me, I'mma take you on a trip *

* Buckle up, let's go, I'mma getchu all hip *

* I'm a star, came up from a block in Chi-town *

* Livin' large, I'm tryna balance school and these bars *

* Came far, ain't no better feelin' *

* I tell 'em, "You gon love Young Dylan" *

* Young Dylan Singers: * Ay! Young Dylan

Dylan: Dylan! * Young Dylan

Singers: * Ay! Young Dylan Dylan: * Ay! Get 'em, Dylan

* I tell 'em, "You gon love Young Dylan" *

Rebecca: Dylan, why can't you help me out this one time?

Charlie said he would.

Dylan: And that's where he made a mistake.

See, if it don't make dollars, then...

Charlie: It don't make cents.

Dylan: My man.

Rebecca: Fine. I thought this might happen, so...

Charlie: So...you're gonna read us a story?

Rebecca: So I'm prepared to make you an offer.

Dylan: Now you're speaking my language!

So what you got?

Rebecca: If you do what I say and help me prove

to Mom and Dad that I'm responsible...

Dylan and Charlie: Whoa!

Where'd you get all that bread?

Rebecca: It's my allowance.

Charlie: That can't be your allowance.

It's like a million bucks.

Dylan: So how much you offering?

Rebecca: One week's worth of allowance.

Dylan: weeks! Rebecca: .

Charlie: Two! Rebecca: Deal.

Dylan: Ugh! Charlie, man! Come on, man!

We do not accept that!

Rebecca: Deal's a deal.

Pleasure doing business with you boys.

[doorbell ringing] - [gasps]

Charlie: Who do you think that could be?

Dylan: It could be anyone!

It could be anyone!

This is bad.

Rebecca, look out the mail slot and see who it is.

Rebecca: Why me?

Dylan: You said you was in charge.

Rebecca: I am, and I'm telling you to do it.

Dylan: Charlie, she's telling you to do it.

Charlie: Shh! I think they might have already left anyway.

Aah!

[all screaming]

Man: Hello?

I got a package here for a Young Dylan.

Dylan: Young Dylan.

Someone who knows my rap name.

It must be fan mail.

Rebecca: Nobody is sending you any fan mail.

Dylan: Oh, bet! Man: It'd be a lot of fan mail,

but here's a crazy idea.

How about you take the package, and you can find out.

Rebecca: Uh, just leave it outside the door, please.

Man: Can't. Need a signature to leave it.

Dylan: Well?

Rebecca: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

What are you doing?

Dylan: Getting my package.

What does it look like I'm doing?

Rebecca: You can't. Dylan: Why not?

Man: Yeah. Why not?

Rebecca: Come on, Dylan. We don't open the door

for strangers.

Dylan: Hey, yo, G.

- What's your name? - Romeo!

Uh, people call me Rome, but Romeo works.

My mama calls me that. So does my granny--.

Charlie: Dude. Dylan: We got it.

Well, Rome, I'm Dylan, Young Dylan.

Romeo: Hey.

Dylan: Not strangers anymore.

Rebecca: You are not opening that door!

Mom and Dad put me in charge,

and you agreed to do what I say.

Dylan: But my package! Rebecca: Uh-huh.

It'll still be your package

when Romeo comes to deliver it later.

Now go.

Dylan: OK. I'm just gonna wait till you're

not looking.

Then I'mma take it anyway.

Nnn-nnn!

Rebecca: Well, then I guess I'm just gonna stay right here.

Nnn-nnn!

Dylan: I shouldn't have told you that!

Rebecca: Mm-hmm. Dylan: Come on, Dylan, come on!

Whatever! Come on, Chuckles.

All right, look. I got a plan to get past Rebecca

so I can get my package from that delivery dude,

but I'mma need your help.

Charlie: Yeah, sure. I can help you out.

Dylan: Dope! I appreciate that.

Charlie: What's in it for me, though?

Dylan: Wait. What?

Oh. Word, Little C. Oh, I'm teaching you well.

Too well.

All right. So what's it gonna cost me?

Charlie: Hmm.

How about you make the beds this weekend?

Dylan: Deal.

Charlie: Aw. I should have said two weekends.

Dylan: Don't worry about it, little grasshopper.

You're still learning.

Charlie: What's the plan?

Dylan: Ah. Charlie: Wow!

That's...intense.

Dylan: Got it off the internet.

Charlie: I hear you.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Dylan: All you got to do is distract your sister,

and I'll handle the rest.

Charlie: My middle name is distraction.

Dylan: That's my man, bro.

[both grunting]

Can you please...

Let me deliver this package?

Rebecca: Uh, no can do, Romeo.

Charlie: Hey, Rebecca! How's it going?

Rebecca: What do you want?

Charlie: Well, nothing. I just...

Ohh! What the?

Psst! Hey, Romeo.

Did you just drop a rock on me?

Shh. My cousin will hear you.

Just read the note.

"Go to the back"? Man, why?

Just go to the back. I'll meet you there in a minute.

Romeo: Well, if you were gonna just tell me,

then why'd you have to drop a note rock?

All I could see was that big, baby-oiled bald head of yours,

I figured I could never miss.

Just go to the backdoor.

Well, where is it?

Around back. Where do you think?

Right. I mean, obviously, but, like,

which way is faster?

Is there a gate? Is there a dog?

Do you need another rock note?

Go to the backdoor.

I'll meet you around back.

Oh, hey, Bex.

Rebecca, you really still standing guard at the door?

You know, you really don't have to.

I was just playing about going for my package.

Romeo probably went home already anyway, so...

Anyway, I'm just going to go get me

a little something-something from the kitchen,

a little grub, a little snacky snack...

* A little much and grunch

A little--

Rebecca: A little too much information!

Shut it.

Dylan: Ahh, ahh.

Yo, man. Where was my distraction?

Whatever. Didn't need it anyway.

Move.

Look out, man. I'm ready to get my package.

Charlie: I'm sorry, Dylan. I can't let you do that.

Dylan: What are you doing, Chuckles?

Rebecca: You should have offered him cash!

Charlie: Sorry.

Dylan: My own flesh and blood?

Charlie: You were the one that said,

"Cash over everything."

Dylan: Charlie, I'm getting that package. Move!

Charlie: Can't do that.

Rebecca: Dylan, I told you.

We can't open the door with my parents not here.

Dylan: But I just want my package!

Man!

Romeo: Hey, yo, Dylan. I'm here. Open up.

Rebecca: Sorry, Mr. Romeo, but we can't open the door.

Dylan: Aw, come on!

Rebecca: You don't even know what it is

or who it's from.

Romeo: Uh, says it's from a Darlene Young.

Dylan: That's my mom.

Rebecca: Sorry, Dylan, but we don't know this guy.

Dylan: I know my mom!

Rebecca: Dylan, you are not opening that door!

Dylan: Aah!

Romeo: Hello? Hello?

Dang!

I knew I should have gone to computer school!

Dylan: Err!

Ugh!

Hey. I locked that!

Rebecca: Mom disabled all the locks upstairs

because Dad kept on locking himself in the hallway.

Dylan: But you're too late.

You can't do anything now. Nnn-nnn!

- [grunting] - Three, two, one.

Nope. Never mind. Hecks no!

That's way too far.

Hey, Romeo! Front door!

Rebecca: Aah!

[grunting]

I got to go to the gym.

I got to join a gym.

Dylan: Whoa!

Rebecca: Charlie, how did you get that hose?

Did you open the door?

Charlie: No. Romeo got it for me.

He's actually a really nice guy.

Romeo: Just trying to be helpful

so I can deliver this package and go home!

Dylan: Why do you have a hose?

Charlie: Now you want out this door,

she wants to stop you,

and whoever holds the hose holds the power!

So let's talk money.

Romeo: All right. That's it.

Will one of you please just sign this so I can go?

Dylan: Really, G? You can just pass it through?

Why didn't you do that in the first place?

Romeo: Honestly, I just thought of it.

Well, and I really like seeing the looks

on people's faces when I deliver them gifts.

I mean, pretty much I'm a swagged-out Santa Claus.

Dylan: Dude! You know what?

Just give me the dang paper, man.

[all screaming]

Seriously, I love how you guys are so careful.

Yeah. Please don't report me.

Dylan: Man, you was about to get got, man!

Romeo: Sign the paper. Dylan: Are you so lucky, man!

Romeo: I said I'm sorry. Oh, man.

Dylan: Aw. Romeo: Like "Home Alone."

Ha ha ha ha!

Dylan: I'm not Kevin.

Romeo: Yeah. OK. Ooh.

Actually, you signed this Dylan Young.

You actually should have signed it Young--

Rebecca: Just go.

Romeo: Yeah. OK. Gone.

[Rebecca groans]

Dylan: All right. OK. Oh, yeah.

I think he's gone. You can open the door now.

Rebecca: Uh-uh.

Not until my parents get home.

Dylan: Are you kidding me?

Charlie: Ah, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba.

Rebecca: I'll give you bucks.

Dylan: Um, I'll make your bed for weeks.

Rebecca: Uh--uh--uh bucks.

Dylan: Um, I'll give you my Rebecca money

and a shout out on my next track.

Charlie: Deal!

Rebecca: Hey!

Aah!

Aah! Aah!

Dylan: Chuckles, this thing is heavy.

Help me get it inside. Ugh!

Charlie: Oh, no. There's Mom and Dad!

Rebecca: Great. Thanks a lot, you two.

Dylan: Just help me get it in.

Rebecca: I'm not helping you do anything.

Yasmine: What is going on here?

Myles: Yeah. Why's the door open,

and why are you outside?

Dylan: This package is for me.

Yasmine: Rebecca, how many times have we told you

not to open the door when we're not here?

Rebecca: Mom, I tried to tell him.

He doesn't listen!

Yasmine: Well, when we leave you in charge,

it's your responsibility to make him listen.

Rebecca: Well, that's dumb because that's impossible.

Yasmine: You know what? Go to your room.

I'll be up in a minute.

Rebecca: But--but, Mom.

Yasmine: Excuse me. Now.

Charlie: I tried to tell them.

Myles: Not now, Charlie.

Charlie: I mean, these kids just don't--

Yasmine: Charlie, to your room.

Charlie: But I-- Myles: Hey, hey, hey. Stop.

You heard her, right? Let's go.

Dylan, what were you thinking?

Dylan: A guy showed up with a package for me.

Myles: Dylan, I don't care who showed up

with what for who.

You do not open that door for people we don't know.

Dylan: His name was Romeo.

Yasmine: Romeo? You know what?

I'm talking to Charlie and Rebecca.

You handle him.

Dylan: Look, Uncle Myles.

I'm sorry I broke the rules, I am,

but the guy said the package was from my mom.

Myles: Dylan, that doesn't matter.

Dylan: I know, but I just haven't heard from her,

and I really wanted to know what it was.

I thought maybe--

Myles: Listen. Look. Dylan, I know,

but we discussed this.

Dylan: But what if someone stole it?

Myles: Stole it? Stole it?

What kind of neighborhood do you think we're in?

Dylan: OK.

Myles: Good.

Dylan: Thanks for not punishing me.

Myles: Oh, you're getting punished.

Most definitely, you're getting punished.

Just need time to think of something bad enough.

Dylan: Man!

Myles: So...this, uh-- this huge thing's

really from your mom, huh?

Dylan: Yeah. See?

Myles: All right. Well, let me help you get it inside.

[Dylan grunts]

Dylan: Agh. There's a monster inside!

[groaning]

Yasmine: The reason why your dad and I

left you in charge was because we thought

you could handle your brother and Dylan.

Rebecca: Mom, I tried.

That delivery guy--

Yasmine: Romeo?

Rebecca: Romeo showed up with a package for Dylan,

and Dylan and wouldn't let it go.

- Hey, Rebecca. - I told him times

not to open the door.

- Rebecca. - I even offered him

my allowance, but he did it anyway.

- Rebecca. - You're never gonna

trust me again.

- Rebecca. - Ohh!

I trust you, and I really appreciate

your efforts.

But, Mo--wait, wait. What? Really?

Yasmine: Really. I talked to Charlie,

and he told me how hard you tried,

and lord knows how hard it can be to manage

those two boys sometimes.

Maybe if you cook something,

we could wipe them out.

- Excuse you! - What?

Sorry, Mom,

but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Whose side are you on?

- Uh... - [drums playing]

Oh, saved by the bell. I mean, um, what's that?

Yasmine: I don't think I want to know.

[drums playing]

What is going on?

Myles: It's what his mom sent him.

Yasmine: A drum set?

Myles: Yeah.

He's a natural.

Yasmine: Ha ha.

Dylan: Yeah! I'm a natural!

Yasmine: I swear those dang drums.

I'm about to snatch that boy up.

I should have cooked for him.

What are you doing?

What are you doing?

Myles: I put the headsets on.

Yasmine: You want to-- I put the headsets on, OK?

You want to sleep?

[drum playing]

I see what you mean.

I see what you mean, but you ain't got no rhythm.

Yasmine: Err.

- Myles. - Coming.
