I've been reading this amazing Earth book about the Gold Rush.

Wouldn't that make a super-fun sim?

This sim exercise is also about observation.

And here to tell you all about it is a real gold miner.

Well, a simulated real gold miner.

Recruits! Meet Goldpan Pete!

Okay, Greenhorn, listen up!

This is what you're looking for.

Gold nuggets, gold dust and gold flakes.

Like your pal told ya, ya either dig for it,

or ya pan for it in the stream.

And if you find any, you do what all miners do

and yell "Eu-reka!"

'Course, if you're having trouble finding the shiny stuff,

the quickest way to get at it is with a little of this.

It's all about observation.

As an extra incentive, whoever finds the most gold

will not only win the entire Search-A-Thon,

but get a week off from their regular chores around the HQ!
