but hopefully it's good enough

to win today's skateboarding contest.

skated the big ramp.

- You'd have to be crazy to try that.

Hey, check out the move I cooked up

for the contest.

I call it The Zac Special:

Whoa! [grunts]

Whoops. That wasn't what I ordered.

[sighs]

- Zac, are you all right?

- Yeah, it's my wheel.

It gets stuck a lot.

[wheel creaking]

Like this one time, it got stuck,

and I skated into a lemonade stand.

It was okay, though, 'cause I was actually

pretty thirsty from skating all day.

Anyway, I should probably go fix my wheel

before the contest starts.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[crashing]

Mmm, lemonade.

- [giggling]

Hmm. Skating the big ramp

would help me win.

Maybe it's not as scary as it looks?

Look at that drop.

I am so not ready to skate this ramp.

[wheels scrape]

Ugh, come on, wheel.

Please stop sticking.

Okay, this isn't so bad.

I think I can put these two pieces together.

But maybe pieces

might take too long.

What do I do?

I need a board to skate on for the contest.

Or maybe I just need a little genie magic.

Don't you just love making strawberry pie?

- [chattering]

[grunting]

Nothing like a good ceiling dance

to get you in the baking mood.

- Tala, I know you're excited for the pie.

But we have to wait for Shine and Nahal

to bring the strawberries.

Okay, I can't wait, either.

Let's go find them.

What happened to that strawberry?

- [grunts]

- It was taking too long

to pick the little strawberries,

so I made one big strawberry

with some genie dust.

- Nice thinking, sis.

Now we have enough strawberry

to make pies for everyone

in Zahramay Falls.

- Sure. If there's any left.

I'm pretty hungry from trying

to get this berry unstuck.

- Let me help.

[both grunting]

[suspenseful music]

[popping]

[giggles]

Oh, wow, this berry's not budging.

How are we gonna get it out of here?

- We could skip the pie part

and just eat the strawberry.

- [chattering]

- Ugh, it'll take me some time

to work up an appetite that big.

[shimmering tone]

- You'll have plenty of time now.

Leah's calling.

[shimmering tones]

- Shimmer and Shine,

my genies divine,

through this special chant,

three wishes you'll grant!

I could use a little more practice too.

and I can't exactly ride on this.

- I love rides.

I want to try.

How am I doing?

- Great, but that's not really a board.

It's a small piece of it.

- Don't let a broken board get you down, Leah.

You can make a wish for a new one.

- Great idea.

For my first wish,

I wish for a new board.

- Is this a surfboard?

- Yup. I granted your wish

for a new board.

But you might have to wait

until the monkey's done riding it.

- [chattering]

- Thanks, Shine, but I meant to wish

for a board I could ride here at the park,

not on the waves.

- That does explain why there's no water.

My mistake, Leah.

- That's okay, Shine. Sometimes mistakes happen.

We just have to get our hands

on the right kind of board.

That was amazing!

Note to self:

Find something other than mayo to fix the wheel.

because I'm crazy good.

- [chattering]

- Okay, so without waves,

how in genie world do you ride this thing?

[grunting]

[surfboard scraping]

- With wheels. And I'll definitely

need some if I want to skate in the contest.

- Well, I know what I would do, if I were you.

- Make a wish?

- I was gonna say do a happy dance on the ceiling,

but making a wish is a great idea too.

- For my second wish,

I wish for a board with wheels.

- Boom Zahramay!

Shimmer and Shine,

[puffing]

What do you think of these wheels, Leah?

I picked them out myself...

[whispers] With magic.

- They're great, Shimmer.

But I was hoping for wheels on a smaller board,

like a skateboard,

not on the surfboard.

- Oh, helmet hair!

I made a big mistake, didn't I?

- It's okay. What matters is you tried.

And even though this board is

too big for the contest,

we can still use it to practice on.

- We're on board with that idea, Leah.

- Abso-genie-lutely.

But first, let's get some gear on.

- Good idea, sis.

[shimmering tones]

And now we're in disguise.

- Let's start practicing on that one.

[suspenseful music]

- Um... The big ramp is only

for the best skaters.

How about we start with something smaller first?

- Sure. Starting small never hurts.

Except for the time I tried those

genie slippers in a size too small.

That hurt.

- [giggling]

[upbeat music]

- [growling]

- [squealing]

[all grunt]

[metallic scraping]

- This is called a grind.

And this is an ollie.

[all grunt]

- Whoo-hoo!

Let's ollie all day long.

[thudding]

- What's this move called, Leah?

- It's called getting stuck.

[all giggling]

- This should fix my sticky wheel.

Butter always gets things unstuck.

Like this one time, my head got stuck in a railing,

so I covered it with butter.

For the next week,

I could butter my toast by rubbing it on my head.

Ooh, this butter is melting.

Oh, well. You know what they say.

"When the butter melts, it's time to ride."

Whoa!

[yelling]

[grunting]

[grunts]

[splat]

[chewing] Mmm.

Mmm, butter's delicious,

but it's not as helpful as it looks.

I guess I'd "butter" figure out something else

to fix my wheel.

Hmm. I know just the thing.

Duct tape!

Okay, let's do this.

Step one: Tape the wheels to the board.

Step two: Tape my feet to the board

so I don't fall off.

Step three: Be awesome.

[grunts]

Wait, this awesome part is actually

harder than I thought! [thudding]

Not a problem. I'll just use

my awesomely huge muscles to pull myself up.

[grunting]

Or I can hang here for a little bit.

That works too.

[all grunting]

- [chattering]

- The surfboard's really stuck.

- First a strawberry, now a surfboard.

What is it with things getting stuck today?

- [grunting]

- Hey, Tala's on to something.

If we jump up and down on the surfboard,

we can get it loose.

- Tala, you're a jumping genius!

- [squealing]

- It's like I always say.

Leave it to a monkey to jump to conclusions.

I've never heard that before.

- That's 'cause I just made it up.

[all grunting]

- It's working.

Keep jumping.

[skateboard thuds]

- Almost...

Made it. Yes!

I'm awesome!

Whoa!

Hey, at least I'm getting

really good at holding on.

[rock music]

- That was awesome!

- Yeah, whoo-hoo! - Whoo!

- So far, riding this board has been a blast.

But does anybody else think we're going a little too fast?

- Uh-huh. And we're headed

for the loop-de-loop.

- Loop-de-loop? That sounds so cute.

[suspenseful music]

Uh... I take it back.

Not cute, not cute!

[all yelling]

[all cheering and laughing]

- Weird. I think I just saw

a tiger riding a surfboard.

It happens. Happens a lot.

Whoa!

[grunts and laughs]

Totally crushed that landing.

Whoa. Whoa!

[grunts]

Double crushed it!

[all giggling]

[upbeat music]

[shimmering tones]

- [meowing] - [squeaks]

- We're going too fast!

We need to stop the board!

I wish we could just get this board to break.

- Boom Zahramay!

Third wish of the day!

- Wait, that's my last wish!

- Shimmer and Shine,

break this board divine!

- What's happening?

- I broke the board

just like you wished for.

You're welcome.

- But I wanted the board to break

as in "stop," not break into pieces.

- Ooh, then you're not welcome.

- This wish was my mistake.

We'll just have to roll with it

till we find a fix.

- Like the way you're rolling toward

the side of the big ramp?

- The big what?

[suspenseful music]

- I'll help you get out of the way.

[shimmering tone]

[bang]

- Whew. Thanks, Sh-ine!

[exciting music]

Whoo-hoo! I did it!

I don't know how, but I did it!

- And you did it with a broken surfboard.

- If you skate like that again,

you can definitely win the contest.

- You think so? - Yeah.

But we can't have you riding on just any board.

It has to have a genie's touch.

- Or two genies' touches,

if you're lucky enough to have twin genies,

which you are!

[shimmering tones]

[both grunt]

- You guys, this is best skateboard I've ever seen.

- Only the best for the best.

That means you're the best, Leah.

- Now get out there and win

that skateboard contest.

[dramatic music]

- Now let's give the Zac Special another try,

this time with a side of awesome.

Order up!

Hey, I'm getting better at this.

[rock music]

[grunts]

Whoo-hoo! I'm on top of the world!

Duct tape, you are my new best friend.

- Wait, who's your new best friend?

- Leah.

[gasping]

Whoa! I saw the tiger

go by earlier, but how could I have missed the monkey?

- Did you say monkey?

You mean here? Today?

- Yeah, and a tiger.

You must have seen them.

- Guess I missed them.

Oh, well.

- There they go again.

Awesome trick, you guys!

it--it went by so fast,

it looked kind of furry-- I mean blurry.

I owe it to lots of practice,

mayo, and duct tape,

especially the duct tape.

It helped my feet stick to the board.

- [giggling]

- I just have one other question:

How did you do that?

- Oh, just a new move I learned.

[all giggling]

- You got to teach me that one day.

Right now, I got to get this

duct tape off my shoes.

Everything is sticking to it.

Popcorn, loose change, a fork...

- And a few other things too.

- Hey, this isn't so bad.

I'm gonna go see what else

these shoes can pick up.

Without our mistakes,

I wouldn't have been able to use

the broken surfboard to win the contest.

- And we wouldn't have been able to go home

We have a strawberry pie to bake.

- Or just a piece of strawberry, no pie.

But we still have to get the strawberry

unstuck from the door.

It's a long story that involves

way too much genie dust.
