- Presto! We're in the book

Webby in bathland.

- Let's read.

Why writer, highlight!

Read with me.

"Webby the penguin lived

In a squeaky clean town called rub a dub."

- Ah, how I love

My squeaky clean town!

- "One day, the squirmy germs

Came to town and made everything dirty!"

- We're the squirmy germs, oozing into town!

The germier, the better!

[Laughing]

- "Webby wanted the squirmy germs to go away."

- Go away, germs!

We want our town to be clean again!

But I don't know how.

- And that, super readers,

Is why we are in this book.

Webby and red both need to know how to get clean.

- We have to help webby get rid of those germs.

- To webby and the yucky germs,

Let's... Uh... Float.

[Ducks quacking]

- [Webby]: hai-yah!

- There's webby. And the squirmy germs.

- Take that, you germs!

And that! - Whoa, that was close.

- Stay away from my squeaky clean town! Hai-yah!

- Whoa! - Hai-hai-hai-hai!

- Webby? Whoa. We're the super readers,

And we're here to help. - Hi, super readers.

Hai-yah! - Ha! Ha! Missed me.

- I'm just trying to get rid of the squirmy germs. Hai-yah!

- Ha! Ha! Ha! - So our town

Can get clean again! Hai! Hoy! Wai!

[Germ laughing]

- Is it working?

- You know... It's not.

These germs just won't go away.

- Weeeee! Gotcha. Woo-hoo!

- Hey, do any of you have something

That'll get rid of the germs? - Hmm...

- Mm-mmm.

- Maybe water will get rid of the germs.

We can use the water

From the waterfall! - All right!

- Yippee! - Yes!

- Ah-ah-ah! Think again, penguin.

Germs, stop that water! [Germs laughing]

- You can't get rid of us!

No water for you! Ha! Ha!

- Oh, no! The germs stopped the waterfall,

And now there's no water!

- Alpha pig to the rescue!

With my lucky letter lasso,

I can find the letters in the word "waterfall".

Ok, first we need the letter w.

Where's the w?

- [Kids]: there! - W!

Now we need the letter a. Where is the a?

- [Kids]: there!

- There it is. And now the letter t.

Where's the t?

- [Kids]: there! - There it is.

Now, where's the letter e?

- [Kids]: there!

- E! And where's the r?

- [Kids]: there!

- W-a-t-e-r. Water!

But we need waterfall.

- Hey, "fall" is an "all" word.

I can help with that. F-all.

Fall! Water-fall.

Waterfall!

- [Germs]: whoa!

- Lickety letters!

We found the letters in the word "water".

- And added the word "fall".

- And fixed the waterfall!

Let's give ourselves a big thumbs-up!

- You see super letters? Which letters did you find?

- [Kids]: s! B! U!

- S, b, and u.

Let's put them in our super duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: computer!

- Four more super letters, and then we'll get...

Our super story answer!

Way to go, readers!

- The water got rid of the germs! Woo-hoo! Yeah!

No more germs! - Ha! Ha! Ha! Party! Ha! Ha!

- Hey! I thought I got rid of you germs with water.

- Ha! Ha! Ha! Don't be silly, silly!

Water alone won't get rid of us! [Germs laughing]

- Ugh! If water alone won't get rid of germs, what will?

Let me sit on this bar of soap and think.

Hmm... Let's see.

I need something really clean that smells really good.

[Sniffing] [webby gasps]

We could use this soap to get rid of the germs!

[Grunting with effort]

Anyone want to give a penguin a hand?

- I have an idea. Everybody, onto the soap!

- All right, germs. We're comin' back,

And this time, we've got soap!

- [All]: yay! - Ha! Ha! Ha!

- Yeah! - Whoa!

- Whoa! - Uh, guys?

I don't see the germs. - But they were just here.

- We need to find the germs and get rid of them

Before they make rub a dub any dirtier.

[Woofster sniffing]

- Woof! Woof! Germs!

- Oh, super readers! And penguin! Geronimo!

- Ha! Germs, germs, germy germs. - Oh, no! No!

You're making luffa lake all dirty!

We're gonna get rid of you germs with this soap!

- Not if we get rid of the soap first!

- Ha! Ha! Ha! - Germs, germs, germs!

- But, i... Well, now what are we gonna do?

We need soap to clean the germs away.

- Cue the sparkles, cue the music,

Princess presto to the rescue!

With my magic spelling wand, I can spell the word "soap"

And get the soap back!

Spell with me. What letter makes the sound "sss"?

- [Kids]: s! - S makes the sound "sss".

Wands up! Write a lowercase s with me.

[Magical chiming]

S.

In this word, the o and the a are a vowel team.

They make the sound "oh". Write the lowercase o with me.

[Magical chiming]

Now write the lowercase a with me.

[Magical chiming]

Spectacular!

And now for the last letter. What makes the sound "puh"?

- [Kids]: p! - P! Let's write a lowercase p.

[Magical chiming]

S-o-a-p. Soap!

Presto!

All right!

- Whoa! - Whoa! Ok, we're going!

- Spectacular spelling!

We spelled "soap" and got the soap back!

And the soap got rid of the germs.

Let's take a bow.

- You see more super letters? Which ones?

- [Kids]: b! L! - Oh, yeah! B and l!

We need to put them in our super duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: computer!

- Two more super letters, and then we'll get

Our super story answer!

- The soap got rid of the germs! Woo-hoo!

- Yay! - No more germs hey!

No more germs hey! No more germs--

Wha! - Back again!

- I don't believe it! - Believe it!

Soap alone won't get rid of us! We're still here!

Ha! Ha! Ha! - And here! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Germs, germs, germy germs! - Whoa! Germs! Everywhere!

I've tried water. I've tried soap.

I've tried karate!

Nothing seems to get rid of these germs!

Just look at my story.

Nothing gets rid of the germs. What are we gonna do?

- Super why to the rescue! With the power to read,

I can change this story and save the day!

Let's change the word "nothing" in this sentence. Zzzap!

Why writer, write!

Super readers, what will get rid of the germs?

Singing, scrubbing, or chirping? Hmm...

Let's try scrubbing. Where is the word "scrubbing"?

It has b's.

- [Kids]: there! - There it is! Scrubbing!

Zzzap! Let's read!

Scrubbing gets rid of the germs.

- We need water and soap,

And lots of scrubbing! Like this!

- Oh, no! Oh! Ahhhhh!

- Scrubbing is working! It's getting rid of the germs!

Keep scrubbing, webby! - Scrubbedy-scrub-scrub.

- More scrubbing?! Ah! I'm a goner! A goner!

- We got rid of the germs! Ha!

And now the town is clean again!

- We did it! - Woo-hoo!

- Did scrubbing get rid of the germs?

- [Kids]: yes! - Yes!

Webby made the germs go away

By scrubbing them with soap and water.

- Look at all this lather!

- [All]: yeah, lather! - I love lather!

Uh... What's lather?

- Woofster to the rescue!

With my doggie dictionary,

I can tell you what any word means!

"Lather" means: a sudsy foam made by mixing soap and water.

Lather. Now we know what it means!

Woof-de-doo! Give your tail a wag!

- The soap and water and scrubbing made lather,

And that's what gets rid of germs and dirt.

- And lots and lots of lather makes...

- [All]: ...bubbles! - Woof! Woof!

- It's everywhere! - Whoa, look at that!

You see our last super letters? Which ones?

- [Kids]: b! E!

- B and e! Let's put them in our super duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: computer!

- We found all of our super letters.

Now we can get... Our super story answer!

- Buh-bye, super readers, and thank you!

- You're welcome, webby. - [Others]: goodbye, webby!

- Woof! Woof!

- Whyflyers, back to the book club! Come on, woofster!

- Woof!

- We found the super story answer with super why!

[Magical chiming]

[Computer beeping]

- Super duper computer, give us our super story answer!

[Computer beeping]

Read the letters with me!

B-u-b-b-l-e-s

Bubbles! The super story answer is "bubbles"!

[Fireworks]

But why?

- [Red]: because nothing got rid of the germs until webby

Mixed soap and water together and scrubbed the germs away.

- [Alpha pig]: and that made lather and lots of bubbles!

- So my question is how can I get my hands clean?

- And your answer is... - [All]: ...bubbles!

- I'll make bubbles by scrubbing with soap and water.

And then my hands will get clean.

Let's go back to grandma's.

Water. Soap.

Now scrub, scrub, scrub.

Hey, look! Lather!

And bubbles! That must mean my hands are getting clean.

Look, grandma! Nice and clean!

- Wonderful, red, dear! Not a speck of dirt anywhere!

Now you can take those clean hands to the table for...

- Lunch! Yum!

[Laughing] - hip-hip-hurray!

The super readers save the day!

- Hip-hip-hurray - hurray!

- The super readers save the day

We changed the story we solved the problem

- We worked together so hip-hip-hurray

- Hip-hip-hurray - hurray!

- The super readers save the day

Hip-hip-hurray - hurray!

- The super readers save the day!
