Oooh, it's Naila and the Magic Map.

In this story, we'll use the alphabet,

rhyme with "ish" words,

discover a new word,

and use the power to read to change the story.

Let's go!

- Ooh, Red and Pig are building a pyramid.

Let's go watch!

- Woof! Woof, woof!

Woof! Woof, woof!

- Come on!

- Hi, Whyatt! Red and I are building a pyramid

like they had in ancient Egypt!

Like this!

Wanna help? - Sure, Pig.

- Oooh... look!

I found an ancient Egyptian message!

- What's it say?

- It says, "From your ancient Egyptian brothers:

"use this message to find a magical Egyptian treasure...

if you dare!"

if you dare!"

- We dare! We dare! We want to find an Egyptian treasure!

But, uh,

what do these pictures mean?

- I don't know. I can't read them.

- Me neither. If we can't read them,

we won't be able to find the Egyptian treasure!

- This is a super big problem.

And a super big problem needs us, the Super Readers!

We need to call the rest of the Super Readers.

Call them with me. Say, "Calling all Super Readers!"

- [Kids]: Calling all Super Readers!

- [Whyatt]: To the Book Club! - [Kids]: To the Book Club!

- Come on, to the Book club!

- [Panting]: Woof! Woof!

- "P" is for Pig!

- Red Riding Hood rollin' in!

- Princess Pea at your service!

[Sniffing]

- And you, say your name!

Great, we're all here.

Together we will solve our problem!

Let's go!

[Computer beeping]

OK, Pig, state our problem!

- We want to find an Egyptian treasure.

But we can't read the pictures in the message!

How will we find the treasure?

- Excellent question.

When we have a question, we look...

- [All]: In a book!

- Which book should we look in?

- Peas and carrots, carrots and peas,

book come out, please, please, please!

[Magical chiming]

- Let's read the title of this book.

Naila and the Magic Map.

We know what to do! We need to jump into this book

and find the answer to our question!

First, we look for Super Letters.

And then, put them in our Super Duper... Computer!

Super Duper Computer, how many Super Letters do we need?

Wow! In this story, we need Super Letters.

And then we'll get our Super Story Answer!

"Naila was a princess from ancient Egypt."

- Welcome to ancient Egypt!

- "One day, Naila found a mysterious map."

[She gasps]

- This map leads to an Egyptian treasure!

- "The map was so old and faded, Naila could not read it."

- If I can't read the map,

I won't be able to find the Egyptian treasure!

- And that, Super Readers, is why we are in this book.

Princess Naila can't read her map and find her treasure,

just like us!

- Woof, woof! This way! Woof, woof!

- Hi, Princess Naila! We're the Super Readers,

and we're here to help you find the Egyptian treasure!

- Oh, Super Readers, look!

I have to follow this map to get to the treasure.

But the pictures are faded, so I don't know where to go!

[Magical chiming] - Woof, woof! - Whoa!

- Look! A picture magically appeared on the map!

It's a picture of the Great Pyramid in the desert!

- Then the Great Pyramid is the first place we need to go

to find the treasure!

- Let's roll!

♪♪♪

- I don't see the pyramid anywhere.

- Woof! Woof, woof, woof, woof! Pyramid!

- Wow! - Whoa, look at that!

- I don't know how I missed that.

- The picture says we need to go to the top of the pyramid.

But it's so tall!

How will we get there?

- Alpha Pig to the rescue!

With my amazing alphabet tools,

I can build alphabet steps

and help us climb to the top of the pyramid!

Say the alphabet with me. [Hammering]

A, B, C...

Uh-oh. What letter comes after C?

- [Kids]: D! - D! One D step coming up!

D, E...

Hmm, what letter comes after E?

- [Kids]: F! - F! Let's keep climbing!

F, G, H, I, J, K,

L, M, N, O, P...

Hmm... what letter comes after P?

- [Kids]: Q! - Q! Here comes a Q step.

Q, R, S, T,

U, V, W, X, Y, Z!

[Hammering]

- Just a bit more... - Yes, we did it!

- Lickety letters! We built alphabet steps

and climbed to the top of the Great Pyramid!

Let's give ourselves a big thumbs up!

- Super Letters?

Which letters did you find?

- [Kids]: C! T! D!

- C, T, and D. Let's put them in our Super Duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: Computer!

- Seven more Super Letters and then we'll get

our Super Story Answer!

- Super Readers, we made it to the top of the Great Pyramid.

Where do we go next?

[Magical chiming] [Naila gasps]

Another picture appeared! I wonder what it is!

- I know! I know!

Um... I don't know.

- Let's see.

This is an oval. And this looks like a tail.

This is a picture of a... a fish!

- Where can we find a fish? - I know where!

The Nile River!

- To the Nile River!

- Here we are, the Nile River.

- Oh, my peas!

It's the longest river I've ever seen!

- It's the longest river in the whole world!

But... I don't see a fish.

- Me neither. - Oh, dear,

how can I find the fish?

- Wonder Red to the rescue!

With my Wonder Words Basket,

I can help find a fish in the river!

Fish is an "ish" word. I love "ish" words.

It's time to rhyme!

- ♪♪ Ish, dish, wish ♪ ♪ Wonderific, you're terrific ♪

♪ Swish, dish, wish ♪ ♪ Wonderific, you're terrific ♪

♪ Ish! ♪♪ We need the word "fish".

[She gasps] Is this the word "fish"?

Let's read it! What letter is this?

- [Kids]: F! - F! And what sound does F make?

- [Kids]: Fff. - Fff.

And this part says "ish". Fff-ish. Fff-ish.

What word is this?

- [Kids]: Fish! - Fish!

"Fish" is the word we were looking for.

Wonderific, you are terrific!

We read the word "fish" and found the fish in the river!

- You see more Super Letters? Which ones?

- [Kids]: S! R! C! E!

- S, R, C, E.

Those are some super fishy Super Letters.

Let's put them in our Super Duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: Computer!

- Three more Super Letters and then we'll get

our Super Story Answer!

Great job, Super Readers!

- OK, Super Readers, we found the Great Pyramid,

we found the fish at the Nile River,

but the last picture is still faded,

so I don't know where to go next!

[Magical chiming] [Gasping]

The last picture appeared! It's a picture of... the sphynx!

- What's a sphynx? - Woof!

Woofster to the rescue!

With my Doggie Dictionary, I can tell you what any word means.

The Great Sphynx means:

a giant and very famous Egyptian statue.

It has the head of a person and the body of a lion. Sphynx.

Now we know what it means! Woof-de-doo!

Give your tail a wag!

- Wonderific! To the mighty Sphynx we go!

♪♪♪

- The Sphynx should be riiiight here.

- Woof, woof! Wow, the Great Sphynx!

- Oh, my peas. He really does have the head of a person

and the body of a lion. Splendid! Hee-hee!

- Welcome, Princess Naila. I've been waiting for you.

- You have?

- Yes. You found all the places on the map

and you're very close to finding your Egyptian treasure.

But, first you must figure out a secret message.

- Wow! - Whoa! - Look at that!

- Whoa! - That's a secret message all right.

Yeah, I have no idea what it says.

- Me neither! - I know you'll figure it out.

- But I can't figure it out! Look at my story!

"Naila sees the secret message."

I can see the message, but I can't figure it out.

And if I can't do that,

I'll never get to the Egyptian treasure!

- Super Why to the rescue!

With the power to read,

I can change this story and save the day!

Let's change the word "sees" in this sentence.

Zzzap!

There it is! What letter is it?

- [Kids]: P!

[Naila gasps] We figured out all the letters!

Now we can read the secret message! - Read it, read it!

[She laughs]

[Grunting with effort]

[She gasps]

The treasure! - Treasure! - Wow!

- Did the word "solves" help Princess Naila figure out

the secret message and find the treasure?

- [Kids]: Yes! - Yes! Super job, Super Readers!

We changed the story and saved the day!

- Woof-de-doo!

- It's a treasure chest full of ancient jewels!

- Look at these sparkly bracelets!

- And this jewel-covered crown!

- And shiny Egyptian golden coins!

- Oh, Super Readers, I'm going to bring this treasure

back to my castle and share it with all of my friends!

- [All]: Yay! - Woof! Woof!

Look at that!

- You see our last Super Letters?

Which ones?

- [Kids]: E! E! O!

- E, E, O. Three vowels!

Let's put them in our Super Duper...

- [Whyatt and kids]: Computer!

- Because once we solved the secret code,

Princess Naila was able to find the Egyptian treasure.

[He gasps] - Those pictures on our treasure map must be

a secret code! Let's go cr*ck that code!

in Princess Naila's story. [Pig gasps]

And there it is! It's an S!

- Next symbol is, uh, there!

It's an A!

- Next is an N!

- And the last one is... a D!

- S-A-N-D. Sand!

Sand. Where can we find sand?

Hmm... - The sandbox!

- Come on, Pig, keep digging! - Woof, woof!

[Red gasps] - [All]: The secret treasure!

- Ooh. Apples and grapes, and oatmeal cookies too!

Yummy! - Adventures make my tummy grumbly!

[Laughing] - Woof, woof, woof!

- Hip, hip, hurray! The Super Readers save the day!
