♪ There's about a million things that I could do ♪

[clapping to music]

♪ Let's look around

♪ What will we see?

♪ Round every corner, a discovery ♪

CUSACK: A duck tries to concentrate on one thing--

usually himself.

QUACK: ♪ Oh, follow the duck, follow the duck ♪

♪ It's always best to follow the duck... ♪

PEEP: Hmm.

♪ You'll go just where a duck will go... ooh. ♪

♪ If you follow the duck. ♪

In other words, me-- and do what I say.

[humming]

Hmm.

CUSACK: Peep is so interested in everything,

he tries to concentrate on two or three things at once.

PEEP: Hmm...

♪ Follow the duck

♪ Follow the duck...

CUSACK: This can be very tough...

[grunts]

...on your bottom.

Ow!

[Peep gasps]

Quack!

♪ Follow the duck, it's always... ♪

PEEP: Quack!

You don't have to yell, I'm right...

Oh.

Peep, when I sing: "♪ Follow the duck "

you're supposed to ♪ Follow the duck--

like that.

Hmm.

Hmm.

[gasps]

No wonder you fell behind!

Do you feel okay?

You should rest.

I'm fine.

Why would I need to rest?

Because you just laid an egg

as big as me!

No, I didn't.

I found it.

[grunts]

Whoa!

Hmm.

How did you make it go all crooked?

I kicked it.

[grunts]

[laughing]

[Peep and Quack laughing]

[Quack grunts]

[both laughing]

Hey-yah!

[gasps]

Oh, no.

Whoops.

Oh, well-- guess we'll just have to play...

♪ Follow the duck

♪ Follow the duck, follow the duck ♪

QUACK: ♪ Follow the Duck...

Hmm.

Oh... oh.... whoa!

Ah!

[Peep sighs happily]

I feel so at home.

[straining]

Hmm!

Whoa-- can't see!

Excuse me.

Oh! Uh, whoa, whoa.

Whoa-whoa-whoa!

Oh!

Could you help me take it off?

[both straining]

Ow! Ooh!

[quacks] Ow! Ow!

Peep, when I say "Ow," you should stop.

Stay here.

I'll go get help.

Fine, I'll wait right...

Ow! Here.

Over this way a little bit, maybe...

Oh! Whoops.

[snoring]

Chirp! Chirp!

Quack's got the top of himself stuck in half an egg.

Huh?

QUACK: Hmm... you brought Chirp.

I recognize the sound of that hop.

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

You should see the fun half of the egg.

You can sit in it and...

Hey!

It's gone!

Quack, who took it?

Who was here?

Nobody was here.

I would have heard.

I have sensitive duck hearing.

[screams]

[Quack whimpering]

[sighs]

[Quack straining]

CUSACK: All that morning,

as the birds tried to save Quack's head,

Peep wondered who could have taken the fun half of his egg.

Hmm...

I need a break from being freed.

[Quack grunts, sighs]

CUSACK: The next day, Peep returned to the scene of the crime.

[sighs]

I'll never forget the fun I had-- right here in this egg.

[gasps]

It's back!

CUSACK: He started to tell his friends, but then he realized...

If I leave, whoever took it might take it again.

CUSACK: Being Peep, he really wanted to know who took it.

When they try again,

I'll jump up and say "Aha!"

That's what I'll do.

CUSACK: Peep waited a long time.

[snoring]

But nobody came.

[sighs sleepily]

[yawning]

Who put all this water here?

Hey, help!

Quack! Chirp!

QUACK: Hmm?[Peep shouting]

I just heard Peep-- far away.

Hmm?

Ididn't hear anything.

[Quack grunts, babbles]

Try a bigger one!

I'm sure I heard a tiny, tiny peep.

[sighs sadly]

[sighs]

[sighs]

Hmm?

Green Island!

I'm going to land on beautiful, dry Green Island any minute!

Of course I could be wrong.

[sighs]

Hey, there's another island-- a purple island.

Maybe discovering newer, purpler islands is my destiny.

I would really like this... if I weren't completely lost.

[Quack snoring]

Quack! Quack!

Huh, what?

I couldn't sleep, so I went to Peep's.

He wasn't there!

And I dreamt I had an egg stuck on my...

Hmm? Aw!

CUSACK: Chirp and Quack looked

and listened for their friend all night long.

Peep! Peep!

Oh! Ow!

Peep!

[sighs]

[yawns]

Huh?

Home!

I'm heading home!

Whoo-hoo!

How did I do that?

Peep!

Hmm.

Peep?

PEEP: Quack!

Huh?

I heard Peep again with my sensitive duck hearing.

This way!

[grunts]

CUSACK: When your leader is a duck

with his head in an egg,

it takes longer than normal to get anywhere.

QUACK: This is it!

This is where I heard Peep.

PEEP: Hey, guys!

BOTH: Peep!

Thanks, Quack.

Whoa, my legs feel funny.

Whoa!

[both grunt]

So you want to know who took the egg?

The water!

That doesn't make sense.

Did you know that water moves?

Whoa! It took me out past Green Island

and then all the way back home.

Hmm...

[grunting]

Finally!

[gasps]

Is my hat all right?

How does it look?

Um... okay.

Mm-hmm.

Are you sure?

It feels weird.

Kind of floppy. Hmm?

You can tell me-- I can take it.

Just say, "Quack, there's something wrong with your hat."

Anybody got a mirror?

Guys, a duck's got to know what his hat looks like.

GIRL: That's Logan, Erica and me.

We're filling up the pool.

ERICA: Now we're going to make some islands

out of bricks and rocks and a few plastic containers.

GIRL: We made two little islands.

ERICA: We're going to put some boats on each of these islands

and we're going to see what happens.

GIRL: I think some things might float when we fill up the pool.

Okay, turn the water on.

[water splashing]

The water level is going up.

Some things are starting to float.

This is the higher island.

The taller island was harder to get the things off of it.

We had to wait for such a long time.

Then, once we saw everything come off,

it was really fun.

ERICA: All of the little plastic toys float around.

Now we are going to let the water drain out

and see what happens.

GIRL: Erica pulled out the plug.

ERICA: The water's draining out.

GIRL: The rock island is above the water again.

[laughing and shouting]

ERICA: When we pushed down the sides, the water and our toys came out.

See what happens when the level of water changes.

CUSACK: Fish Jr.'s Fish Museum used to be crowded with visitors.

But now, the place is empty.

The fish have seen it all.

Oh, I need to find something new for my museum.

QUACK: Good morning!

Hmm?

How's everything in fish land?

Quack! Look out!

Hmm?

[screams]

[shouting]

[shouts, grunts]

[gasps]

Quack?

Are you okay?

Where are you?

I mean, where am I?

[grunting]

[gasps]

Quack, you found something new for my museum!

Huh?

Everything looks strange.

[babbles, grunts]

Oh, yeah, much better.

FISH JR.: Where did all the colors go?

Huh?

FISH JR.: Hey, Quack, you look like an old potato.

Huh.

These must be broken.

Ducks are nothing like potatoes.

I'll take them up and check them out, okay?

[chuckling]

Oh, my!

Would you look at... Peep!

QUACK: You won't believe it, Peep!

The sky is pink, the grass is orange, and you...

CHIRP: What are you talking about?

Peep looks just fine.

QUACK: What? What are you?

Some kind of talking orange?

Very funny.

The fruit just talked again!

Peep, where are you?

QUACK: Help!

[Peep groaning]

He's right behind you.

You're squishing him.

[Peep groaning]

[Peep inhales deeply, sighs]

[chuckles]

Where did you get these?

Those are duck glasses, okay?

They're on loan from the museum.

Whoa!

It's amazing!

Everything looks... orange-y.

Can I have a turn?

Sure, Peep, in a minute.

Wow-- the water is purple.

CHIRP [laughing]: And you look like an old potato.

QUACK: Hmm!

Uh-huh.

I am not a potato; I'm a duck.

And these glasses are due back at the museum.

Wait! What about me?

I'm sorry, Peep.

I meant to give you a turn.

CUSACK: Oh, well.

Peep figured he'd get a turn with the glasses tomorrow.

[Peep humming]

The idea of looking at an orange-y world

was so exciting, it took him forever...

[Peep snoring]

to fall asleep.

[yawns]

[gasps]

CUSACK: Anyway, when Peep got back to the pond,

it was clear he was going to have to wait some more,

because the fish were going wild.

BOTH: Ooh...!

[laughing]

[sighs happily]

[snorts, grunts]

Ah!

[panting]

You should see it, Peep!

It warms the cockles of my...

Whatever.

The museum is mobbed!

[sighs]

I wish Icouldsee it.

Swimming lessons, Peep.

If you learned to swim,

you could visit the glasses anytime.

CHIRP: It's not fair, Quack.

Peep has been waiting since yesterday for a turn.

Hmm. You're right.

Hey, I'll put in a word with the boss.

I may be able to work something out for my little pal, Peep.

VOICE: This way, over here!

Watch out for bird feet!

Hup, two, three, four!

Hup, two, three, four!

Where are you going?

To the picnic.

Hup, two, three, four!

Hup, two, three, four!

What's that?

A picnic?

It's an ant buffet-- all you can eat.

And take-out, too!

This way, folks!

Hup, two, three, four...!

Do you want to go to the picnic?

We might be waiting a long time

for those glasses.

[sighs]

Okay.

[ants exclaiming]

This is no way to hold a picnic!

Everything's covered up!

Not a crumb in sight!

ANT: All right, line up!

This way-- to the dump!

Hup, two, three, four!

Hup, two, three, four!

Hmm-- I guess picnics aren't that interesting after all.

[gasps]

Look, Chirp!

Hmm...

Chirp, you're turning green!

Interesting.

QUACK: There you are!

Okay, it's all arranged.

Sunset-- at the pond.

Top secret-- don't tell the bird.

What bird?

Chirp! I mean...

[whispers]: Chirp.

We can't let every bird know about the glasses,

or there'll be a riot.

CHIRP: I don't even care, Quack,

because look-- this is just as good!

Wow!

PEEP: Everything is greenish.

PEEP: Even you, Quack.

Not me, you!

QUACK: Youlook green.

Boo!

[Quack screams]

[bag pops, Quack screams]

QUACK: Oh, no!

CHIRP: Sorry, Quack.

[sniffing]

Hmm.

[crunching]

Oh, my!

[chomping chips]

Oh, my, oh, my, oh, my.

[Quack eating noisily, quacking]

[chomping]

Hey, hey, hey!

This is duck food, okay?

You'll make yourself sick.

Would you mind standing over there?

I'm going to be very busy

for the next few minutes,

and, uh, I don't want you

getting in the, uh, you know...

ANT: Potato chips!

[ant whistles]

ANT: Over here!

[ants jabbering]

[Quack screams]

Go away, this is duck food!

Duck food!

Can't you hear?

For Ducks! Ducks!

It's duck...

...food.

CUSACK: Oh, well.

It had been a day-- or two-- of interesting discoveries.

Orange-y sunglasses, greenish shadows, potato chips.

Best of all, Quack remembered his promise to Peep.

PEEP: Wow!

Hmm...

Okay.

[fish cheering]

[sighs]

I wish I could go down there.

Then I could look through those glasses every day.

You know, Peep,

if a duck can open a museum,

then you can learn how to swim.

Hmm.

FISH: Ooh!

GIRL: That's Sarah, me and Isabella.

We are making things with colored beads.

GIRL: It's so pretty.

Thank you.

Are you thirsty?

Orange juice.

Apple juice.

Cranberry juice.

GIRL: Now we're drinking.

You know what's strange?

When I look that way, it looks dark.

When I look that way, it looks really light.

GIRL: My gosh, that's weird.

The cranberry juice makes a colored shadow.

GIRL: I'm assuming that the cranberry colored the light red

and made it a red light-shadow thing.

This has the same thing as that.

It has a color shadow.

The orange juice doesn't have any color, just shadow.

ISABELLA: I think the orange juice

is really thick.

Can't see through it.

I bet the light can't go through it.

GIRL: We decided to make our own colored water

with food coloring.

GIRL: The light is shining through these things

and it's getting on my finger, so it's turning it yellow.

I'm going to put this and this together.

There's a green light shining through.

This is going into that,

and there's green light shining through.

Let's switch these around.

GIRL: When we switched, it looked greener!

Whoa! Oopsies.

Oh, no.

GIRL: See what happens when light goes through clear, colored things.
