♪ With teeth and a tail and big green eyes ♪
♪ He didn't look anything like the rest ♪
- What am I doing in a Pteranodon nest?
♪ But dear old Mrs. Pteranodon said ♪
- Oh, this is your family, and I'm your mom.
You may be different, but we're all creatures.
All dinosaurs have different features.
Come on, Buddy, we'll take a vacation.
I'll get us a ticket at Pteranodon Station.
We'll travel the world in sunshine and rain
and meet all the species on the...

These are the prettiest Winter Solstice decorations
you've ever made.

- Okay, remember: it's the shortest day of the year,
so that gives us even less time to get ready
for Winter Solstice tomorrow, and we've got a lot to do.
So let's get started!

- Let's all work together and collect red and green flowers,
berries, and shiny shells.
Then we'll all help put 'em up
in the big tree to decorate today!
- And don't forget, we have to catch lots of fish
for the feast tomorrow.

Remember being a kid on Winter Solstice Eve?

I used to love decorating the tree.

- Mom, we really want to start the Solstice festivities.
Where's Dad and Mr. Lambeosaurus?
- Oh, you know how your father and Larry are
when they're together.
They probably got a little distracted by something.

Finally! That huge pile of leaves
was really distracting me from making my point,

We're heading under the sea.

- Okay, okay, so all we have to do
is get off and wait for the next train going back.
Right, Mr. Thurston the Conductor, huh?
- There will be a train going back
to Pteranodon Terrace, right?

I just wanna get home
to spend the holiday with my family.
- Ah, any minute now, another train--
- Larry, please, just shh!

I'm waiting for the next train
to the Big Pond!
- Wha--the Big Pond?
Well, that's near where we're going.
Or trying to go.
- Oh, you doing some holiday travel too?
I always vacation with my cousins at the Big Pond.
Winter Solstice dinner, all the relatives.

You need to accentuate the positive.

to be piloting the submarine?
- I'm training for my submarine pilot's license,
so Uncle Conductor lets me take it out on the weekends.

in that thing?

I've always wanted to ride in a submarine.

Sometimes weird and unexpected things happen to them.

It looks more like the North Pole.

- If you wanna get back in the submarine,

I'd rather take my chances catching a train here.

- And then we're gonna link hands
and all dance around the tree!
- And then eat a huge fish feast.

- As soon as Dad and Larry get here.

Not to be nosy,
but I saw Mr. Pteranodon and Mr. Lambeosaurus
get on the Rocket Train and then miss their stop here.
They're probably trying to catch another train back right now.
- Oh, there, see, Buddy?
They just got on the wrong train.
They'll be home soon, I'm sure!
- Oh, North Pole Station, huh?
Brr. Wow! Is it always this cold here?
- Pretty much.

- Oh, thank goodness we found you.
We need to take the Dinosaur Train
back to Pteranodon Terrace in time for Winter Solstice!
- Oh, well, we've got another train in the roundhouse
for some routine maintenance.
Shouldn't take more than a few hours.

Larry, I guess we're stuck at the North Pole
for a few hours.
- Yeah. And look, it's snowing.
Now it's snowing like crazy.
Is there a word for that?
- Yeah! It's called a blizzard.

The station must be closed. We're trapped out in the snow!

for a few hours.
