♪ Bottle Top Bill ♪

- [Bill] What a perfect day, Corky.

- [Corky] It's a perfect day for an adventure, Bill.

- [Bill] You're right there.

- [Corky] And what's today's adventure, Bill?

- [Bill] Today's adventure's called The Air Show.

Isn't it great living in the countryside?

You bet it is, Corky.

I just love the green fields and trees.

And I love the colorful flowers.

But you know what the best thing

about the countryside is, Corky?

What's that, Bill?

It's so quiet and peaceful.

Right again.

(engine rumbling)

What's that?

It's coming from up there.

- [Bill] What do you think it is, Corky?

- [Corky] I'm not sure, Bill.

- [Bill] It's definitely not a bird.

- [Corky] And it's definitely not a cloud.

- [Bill] I think I know.

So do I.

It's an airplane. It's an airplane.

And it's coming this way.

Duck!

(whimsical music) (plane engine rumbling)

What's he think he's doing?

I hope he's not in trouble.

(whimsical music)

He doesn't look in trouble to me, Corky.

Then why is it flying like that?

If you ask me, I think he's just a big showoff.

(horn honking)

Now what?

- [Corky] It looks like someone else is coming this way.

- [Bill] It's Neighbor Ned.

He looks in a hurry.

- [Bill] A big hurry.

Look out Bill and Corky, I'm in a big hurry.

Hold up a minute, Ned.

Where are you going?

Haven't you heard? Heard what?

There's a big air show down at the Fun Fair.

An air show?

And there'll be a world record parachute jump.

Wow!

And I don't wanna miss it.

Gotta go. (horn honking)

See ya!

Bye Ned. Bye Ned.

That explains that plane before, Bill.

It must have been practicing for the show.

Right Corky.

An air show sounds exciting.

We should go.

I'm with you, Corky.

- [Corky] And there's only one way to get to an air show,

right? Right Corky.

We'll go by air ourselves.

Ready Bill? Let her rip, Corky.

(whimsical music)

- [Corky] We'll be there in no time at all.

- [Bill] I can hardly wait.

(whimsical music)

Any sign of the Fun Fair, Bill?

Should be coming up any second now.

- [Corky] I think I see it now.

- [Bill] That's it all right.

We're going to have so much fun.

Standby to land, Bill.

Standing by, Corky.

Whoa! Whoa!

(both grunting)

Sorry about the rough landing, Bill.

Not to worry.

Let's take a look at what's here.

- [Corky] I see a candy floss stall.

- [Bill] And there's Mrs. Whistlehead's cake stall.

(whimsical music)

And just look at all those visitors.

All we have to do now is find where all the planes are.

I see them, Corky.

Look over there.

(whimsical music)

- [Corky] Don't they look great?

And look, there's even a hot air balloon.

- [Corky] What'll they use the balloon for?

- [Bill] I think they'll use it for the parachute jump.

We can't wait to see it.

But look, Bill, the balloon's tied to the ground by ropes.

- [Bill] So, it is. I wonder why that is?

(wind blowing)

There's your answer Corky.

The balloon has to be tied down,

or the wind would blow it away.

It might blow us away, too, if we don't move.

Right, let's see what else we could find.

- [Corky] Those cakes on Mrs. Whistlehead's stall

look very tasty.

(wind blowing)

Ahh, my lovely hat.

Come back! (barking)

(whimsical music)

Timmy's trying to catch Mrs. Whistlehead's hat.

Mrs. Whistlehead's hat's doing a loop-de-loop.

(wind blowing) (whimsical music)

Good catch, Timmy.

- [Corky] The wind's really blowing the balloon about, Bill.

Don't worry, Corky.

Those ropes will keep it safe.

- [Corky] The ropes might keep it safe from the wind,

will they keep it safe from creatures?

What creatures?

Rabbit creatures.

- [Bill] He's only eating some grass, Corky.

But look where he's eating it.

Oh no!

- [Corky] He's going to eat through the rope.

We have to stop him.

(whimsical music)

We're too late, Bill.

He's already done it.

(whimsical music)

Paint me pink, Corky, the balloon's being blown away.

(Timmy whimpering)

- [Corky] And Timmy's been blown away, too.

Oh, my poor Timmy.

Somebody help him.

(howling)

Bill, Corky, do something.

Don't panic, Mrs. Whistlehead.

We'll save Timmy.

This calls for plane power.

(whimsical music)

You can rely on us, Mrs. Whistlehead.

We'll have Timmy back on the ground in no time.

Good luck! (whimsical music)

Look, there goes Bill and Corky.

Wow!

I didn't know they were part of the air show.

(whimsical music)

There's the balloon, Bill.

(barking)

We need to get closer, Corky.

Hold on, Timmy, we're here to rescue you.

See if you could grab the rope, Corky.

(whimsical music)

Nearly, Bill.

Try and keep it steady.

It's the wind.

It keeps blowing us off course.

(dramatic whimsical music)

It's no good Bill.

I can't reach it.

Here Corky, you take the controls.

What are you going to do?

I've got an idea.

Look, the air show's starting.

Isn't it exiting.

(crowd gasping)

Someone's doing a wing walk.

I hope he's careful.

That stuntman looks familiar.

I'm sure I know him.

It's Bill.

He's rescuing Timmy.

What a hero.

Be careful, Bill!

I can't, Corky.

My feet are slipping.

Here.

Put some of my candy floss on the bottom of your shoes.

Great idea, Corky.

The balloon's getting away, Bill.

I've got it.

Well done.

Now, swing up onto the balloon.

I can't, Corky.

My feet are stuck.

Don't worry, Bill, I'll get you unstuck.

We need to let some air out.

How do I do that, Corky?

Open the air valve.

Got it.

Make sure you open it very-- (air whistles)

Slowly!

Paint me pink, Timmy.

How do we get out of this?

Can you hear me, Bill?

We're in big trouble, Corky. Jump, Bill!

Jump?

- [Corky] Use the parachute in the basket.

(dramatic whimsical music)

(barking)

It's now or never, Timmy.

(whimsical music)

- [Corky] Pull the parachute cord, Bill.

I can't.

I'll drop Timmy.

It's the world record parachute jump.

And Bill's going to do it.

With my Timmy.

[Man] They're coming down very fast.

Why doesn't Bill open his parachute?

(crowd gasps)

I hope we have a soft landing, Timmy.

(whimsical music)

(crowd cheering)

Good boy, Timmy.

(crowd cheering)

I've never seen anything like it.

How amazing.

I knew Bill could do it.

(whimsical music)

Bill, Corky,

you rescued Timmy.

And my hat.

It was nothing, Mrs. Whistlehead.

We were glad to help.

(barking)

And you helped too, Timmy.

How can I ever thank you both?

A slice of one of your cakes

will do just fine, Mrs. Whistlehead.

And some homemade lemonade.

I'll get it right away.

Doesn't this look delicious?

It sure does.

But you know what?

We never did get to see the real air show, Corky.

And do you know why, Bill? Tell me.

Because we were the air show.

(laughing)

When you're right, Corky, you're right.

(whimsical music)

Guess where we're going today, Corky?

- [Corky] It looks like Mrs. Whistlehead's farm, Bill.

- [Bill] Spot on, Corky.

- [Corky] Is that where we're having an adventure?

- [Bill] You bet, and it's called The Runaway Chair.

I like visiting Mrs. Whistlehead, Corky.

Me too, Bill.

Her blueberry muffins are delicious.

And don't forget her lemonade, Corky.

Mmm, I can hardly wait.

That's strange.

Mrs. Whistlehead usually feeds the sheep about now.

You're right, Bill.

I wonder where she is.

- [Bill] Could this be her, Corky?

- [Corky] I don't think Mrs. Whistlehead

has four legs, Bill.

- [Bill] Or a tail, either.

It's Timmy, the dog.

Hello, Timmy.

(barking)

Do you know where Mrs. Whistlehead is Timmy?

(barking)

I think he wants us to follow him.

(whimsical music)

Mrs. Whistlehead?

Are you in here?

Hello, Bill, hello, Corky.

I'm afraid I've hurt my leg.

That's no good, Mrs. Whistlehead.

We're very sorry to hear that.

And there's so much to do around the barn.

Can we help?

That's very kind, Corky,

but I need to show you what to do, and I can't move.

Hmm.

What you need is a special chair on wheels.

Oh, that sounds perfect.

Do you have one? I don't.

But I know someone who might.

We'll need a car to get us there.

- [Corky] A fast car, Bill.

We don't wanna leave Mrs. Whistlehead too long on her own.

- [Bill] You're right there, Corky.

Let's get moving.

We'll be back in a flash, Mrs. Whistlehead.

(barking) (whimsical music)

Where are we going, Bill?

- [Bill] We're going to Cedric the Scientist's laboratory.

- [Corky] To see Cedric?

- [Bill] That's the idea.

- [Corky] What for?

- [Bill] Cedric the Scientist

is sure to have an invention

that's perfect for Mrs. Whistlehead.

Right idea.

(whimsical music)

Cedric?

Hello? Bill, Corky,

how nice to see-- (yelling)

Look out!

(loud crashing)

Hello, Cedric?

Are you okay?

Yes.

Sorry about that, just testing my new foot dusters.

Did they work?

Unfortunately, they make the floor so clean

that it becomes very slippery.

Nevermind though.

What can I do for you?

It's for Mrs. Whistlehead, actually.

She's hurt her leg, and she needs a special chair

to get her out and about on the farm.

That's easy.

I have just the thing.

- [Corky] You do?

- [Cedric] It's my special run-around chair.

I made it years ago.

Here it is.

But Cedric,

this isn't a chair.

It's a box full of bits.

That's because the run-around chair comes as a kit.

You need to put it together yourself.

I don't like the sound of that, Bill.

Don't worry, Corky.

We'll have it together in no time.

Bill's right, Corky.

As long as you--

As long as you what, Cedric?

I can't remember.

But it's very easy.

You can't go wrong. Great.

Come on, Corky, let's get this back to Mrs. Whistlehead's.

I hope you're right, Bill.

We've never put a chair together before.

There's a first time for everything.

Bye, Cedric, and thank you.

Good bye and good luck.

Now, what was it I should tell them about that chair?

Hello, Mrs. Whistlehead.

We've got just the thing for you.

Really?

What is it?

It's called the run-around chair.

Perfect for getting you about the farm.

It doesn't look much like a chair.

That's because we need to assemble it.

It won't take us long.

- [Ned] Can I help?

Hello, Ned, what brings you here?

I'm off to get Mrs. Whistlehead's shopping.

See?

But now that we have the run-around chair,

I'll be able to get it myself.

Then why don't I help you put it together.

I'm not sure, Ned.

Don't worry, Corky, the more the merrier.

Come on, Ned.

Right, let's put this chair together quick smart.

- [Corky] That doesn't look right to me, Bill.

- [Bill] Nor me, Corky.

Should we try again?

I think we should.

Better? Yes,

but it's still not right.

Top job, Corky, we've done it.

Do you really think so, Bill?

It's a beauty.

All it needs now is a test run.

Would you like to do the honors, Mrs. Whistlehead?

Maybe someone else should try it first.

Can I do it?

I'm not sure, Ned.

Why not?

Cedric did say nothing could go wrong.

Great!

Ready and waiting.

Off you go!

(whimsical music)

Yeah!

Excellent. It works.

Amazing.

Try it backwards, Ned.

Here goes.

That chair is marvelous.

Look, I can even go around in circles.

Isn't Cedric a great inventor?

He sure is, Bill.

Can I have a go now, Bill?

Of course.

Ned, could you bring the run-around chair

over to Mrs. Whistlehead?

No problem, Bill.

(whimsical music)

It's your turn now, Mrs. Whistlehead.

Oh!

Ned, you've gone too far.

The chair won't stop.

Press the stop button, Ned.

I'm trying, Bill.

Turn the steering wheel.

Help! (dramatic whimsical music)

That run-around chair is running away.

What do we do?

I'll do it, Bill.

(phone ringing)

Hello?

Oh, Cedric.

I need to get a message to Bill and Corky.

I forgot to tell them something.

The instructions for putting the chair together

are at the bottom of the box.

(whimsical music)

Oh, dear.

No, I don't think they did find them.

Help!

I can't stop!

Watch out for Mrs. Whistlehead's sheep, Ned.

It's too late, Bill.

(dramatic whimsical music) (sheep bleating)

I can't see where I'm going.

- [Bill] Where's he heading now?

[Corky] I don't know.

But there's something in the way.

It's a tree. A very big tree.

I can't look.

(sheep bleating)

Are they okay?

Sort of.

(sheep bleating)

We need to rescue Ned, Bill.

But how?

He's way ahead of us.

Jump up, Bill.

- [Bill] Where's he going now, Corky?

- [Corky] It looks like Sandy Scarecrow's field.

- [Bill] Sandy had better get ready for a big surprise.

I have to stop this chair, but I don't know how.

Who's this?

It looks like Neighbor Ned.

(birds tweeting)

Watch out, Sandy!

Hey Ned, slow down.

Sorry Sandy! (Sandy screaming)

Bill, Corky, what's going on?

Sorry, can't stop, Sandy.

Gotta catch that chair.

Now, where are they going?

- [Bill] It's the road into town, Corky.

- [Corky] He needs to be careful with all those cars, Bill.

(whimsical music)

(Ned screaming)

- [Bill] Hang on, Ned.

We're right behind you.

- [Bill] Uh-oh, where are we now, Corky?

- [Corky] Where ever it is, it's very big.

- [Bill] I know.

It's the shopping center.

- [Corky] How on earth will we find Ned in here?

(whimsical music)

Look out, everyone!

I can't stop.

Get out of the way!

(screaming)

Sorry.

Can you see where he's gone, Corky?

I can, unfortunately.

Help!

- [Corky] Watch out, lady!

- [Bill] Move away, quickly.

(whimsical music)

This is terrible, Bill.

We're never going to stop him.

- [Bill] The chair can't keep going forever.

- [Corky] I think it can.

And now, it's heading towards the lift.

- [Bill] I hope no one's inside.

- [Corky] Somebody is inside.

- [Bill] And he's coming out.

Please get out of the way!

(dramatic whimsical music)

I've got it!

Good catch, Corky.

(whimsical music)

Oh dear.

Now we're in trouble.

Are you okay, Ned?

I think so, Bill.

I think this belongs to you.

Thank you.

We're very sorry for the trouble we've caused.

We were only trying to help Mrs. Whistlehead.

Mrs. Whistlehead?

She hurt her leg,

so we made her a chair to move about in.

But it didn't work properly.

And now, it's broken.

But Mrs. Whistlehead is a good friend of ours.

Is there anything we can do?

Well, there is one thing.

Anything.

Ned, do you still have Mrs. Whistlehead's shopping list?

Here it is, Corky.

Could we collect all the things on here?

Not a problem.

It'll be a pleasure.

Now, let's get this chair back to the farm.

(whimsical music)

Thanks very much for the lift.

And thank you for delivering the shopping.

And the chair, too.

A pleasure, I hope you can fix it.

We'll do our best.

Bye for now.

- [All] Bye.

Oh, dear.

What's the matter, Bill?

We've got Mrs. Whistlehead's shopping,

but we haven't solved her problem.

You're right.

She still can't get out and about with her bad leg.

And we have no idea how to make this chair work properly.

Bill?

Corky. Mrs. Whistlehead.

Thank you for bringing the shopping.

But Mrs. Whistlehead, where did you get that chair?

I built it for her, Corky.

Cedric forgot to tell you to follow the instructions.

So I came over with a new chair.

It's a beauty.

It certainly is.

Now, I expect all that rushing around

has made you very hungry.

- [Bill] I can say that again, Mrs. Whistlehead.

- [Corky] We'd love something to eat.

- [Ned] Especially if it's blueberry muffins.

And that's just what I have.

I think we learned a lesson today, Bill.

What was it, Corky?

Next time we build a chair,

we'll make sure to get some instructions first.

When you're right Corky, you're right.
