- Whoo-hoo!
When I was working
on the Brazilian railway,
I met a pair of engines
who had always done
things the same way.
So let's see what happened when
they tried something different.
[whistles]
All aboard for a big adventure!
[Thomas]
Thomas and the Forest Engines.
[horn honking]
- Expresso passando!
- [gasps and screams]
- Wow! It's so busy here today!
-[whistles]
- It really is, Thomas!
I have to take
the fruit to market,
and pick up the iron ore,
and go
to the eucalyptus plantation!
- Whoa, can I help?
How about I go to the
eucalyptus plantation for you?
- And pick up the wood?
Fantástico!Obrigada,
Thomas.
Thank you!
[whistles]
- Hey, Thomas.
You'd better load up with coal
before you go.
The eucalyptus plantation
is pretty far away!
- Ooh.
A tunnel made of trees?
Whoa!
[train engine chugging]
- Wow! So this is the--
[both] Eucalyptus railway!
[whistle blows]
- Hola! My name's Thomas!
[both] Oh! We're Marzia
and Marzio!
- [giggles]
Wait!
Who is who?
- I'm Marzia,
- I'm Marzio,
- and this is Marzio!
- and this is Marzia!
- [laughs]
Do you always talk
at the same time?
[both] No!
Yes!
[laughing]
- We do everything together.
- [laughs]
I've come to collect
the eucalyptus wood
to take it to Rio.
- Well, you've come
to the right place!
This plantation is full
of eucalyptus trees,
which is handy, because--
- It's not coal
that makes us steamy.
-[steam hissing]
- It's wood!
We grow the eucalyptus
trees here!
- Oh, you're
wood-burning engines!
But, you'll run out of wood
if you keep using it up.
- As long as we keep
planting new trees,
then the eucalyptus railway
can keep running!
- You know,
I've never met a pair
of engines quite like you two.
- People come from all over
the world to see us,
but we've never been anywhere!
- We wish we could see
the world like you, Thomas!
We don't even know
what it's like!
We can only imagine
how amazing it must be!

[both] Ooh!
Ah!

your jobs today
while you do mine?

to Rio de Janeiro?
