Previously on The Amazing Race...

- Yeah, let's go.
- Let's go.

Ten teams set out
from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I'm just gonna touch all that.

You girls are naughty.

Eric and Jeremy started
flirting with Danielle and Dani.

You got to make
the girls feel good

so you can get in
their pants later.

At a physically
demanding Roadblock...

Let's go, Jeremy!

Eric and Jeremy...

I'm trying!

and BJ and Tyler...

Come on, Ronnie, you got it!

took the lead while
sisters Lisa and Joni,

You're doing great!

Fran and Barry,
and Danielle and Dani...

I hate heights.

fell behind.

Yeah, I think I'll have
a heart att*ck.

Fran helped Danielle
overcome her fear of heights...

Concentrate on lettin' go
and lookin' in the wall.

to swiftly rappel
to her teammate,

You could do it, girl.
You're doing awesome.

Conquer anything.

Teams ventured into
the Brazilian countryside

for a Detour that was
either sugar and science...

The spirit of Mr. Wizard
is with us right now.

or water and strife.

Oh God, I'm not getting it.

Fran and Barry
struggled mightily...

to get to the top and
then had major bad luck.

- Battery's dead.
- My God.

We're done.

What a way to get eliminated.

BJ and Tyler b*at Eric
and Jeremy for first place.

You're team number one.

While Lisa and Joni never
mastered driving their car...

I can't do this.

I can't get this car a lot.

or working together.

We agreed that I would
drive and you would do this.

I can't do both.

In the end...

Congratulations, you're
still in the race.

- Oh, my God!
- Oh, my God!

Fran and Barry recovered
while the sisters arrived last.

I'm sorry to tell you, you have
been eliminated from the race.

Now, nine teams remain.
Who will be eliminated next?

This is Brotas, Brazil.

A small farming community built
on South America's coffee trade.

And on the outskirts of town:
Fazenda Primavera da Serra.

This picturesque coffee
plantation was the second pit stop

in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at
the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

And while they were
here Eric and Danielle

and Jeremy and Dani paired up.

We just hooked up
with them right away.

A lot of talking
about naughty things.

Those girls are really cute.

Will this relationship turn
into a powerful alliance?

And will Fran and Barry,
the oldest team on the race,

manage to get
out of last place?

BJ and Tyler, who were
the first to arrive at 4:48 PM...

we can have as much fun

Smolensk.

All right.
Let's do this.

Detour: Scrub or Scour.

A Detour is a choice
between two tasks,

each with its
own pros and cons.

In this Detour, teams have to
choose between Scrub and Scour.

In Scrub, teams must travel
to this trolley depot

and wash an entire
Moscow trolley inside and out.

Once the bus driver's satisfied
with their cleaning job,

they will receive
their next clue.

It's a physical task, but teams
control their own destiny

and they can finish as fast
as their stamina allows.

In Scour, teams must
travel to this theatre

and search through 1,500
multi-piece Russian nesting dolls

in order to find one
of 10 microscopic clues.

There's nothing
physical about the task,

but teams will have to rely
quite a bit on their luck

and could take a
long time to finish.

- Let's Scrub.
- Scrub the scrubs.

It could be a lot of dolls.

- All right, get in.
- Okay.

- Oh, I see it.
- Oh, the monastery.

Oh, beautiful.

- He missed it.

He couldn't get over
so he'll go all the way

- around the block now.
- Hurry, hurry.

- The monastery right there?

Right in.

Smolensk Cathedral.
It's got to be somewhere.

Where is your bag?

...with our passports in it and our
money and our clues - everything?

- Is it here?
- Please tell me you have it.

Did you leave it
in the dressing room, Dan?

Probably.

We left it at the Roadblock.

- Oh.
- Dang it.

Hey, what we should do?
Wanna just get out?

We get another cab,
we'll go back?

- Okay.
- Pull over.

How are they
gonna find a taxi?

They're gonna have to hustle,
but we can't stay with them.

Stupid, stupid.

That's a huge, huge mistake.

Cathedrals are usually big.

Look everywhere.

- Here.
- Stop.

This is it?

Here's the other.

Let's go.

- Smolensk Cathedral?
- Over there.

There's people up there.

Here's Eric and Jeremy.

It's fine, where are you going?

- Yeah, going inside there.
- Lake, don't run.

We have to go inside.

This is it.

- Open it up, let's see.
- This is, like, sacred, so.

Grab it.

- Detour.
- Detour.

- Detour.
- Detour.

- Scrub.
- You wanna clean a trolley?

We go scrub it.
Yeah, let's go.

This nesting doll thing
could take forever.

Ray, it's in the
middle right there.

We're gonna scrub it,
we're professional car washers.

Let's wash the trolley because
we got to find the clue.

"Dubrovka Theatre."

That's the one we passed
on the way from the airport.

I should know.
We can do that one?

Yeah.

All right, Detour,
it's known as 8 Trolley Park.

- Trolley Park?
- Do you know?

Trolley depot?

Babe, where are you?

Does he know?
