- Previously on "The Amazing Race", go.

teams set out on a race around the world.

- Right here, right here.

Carno Switzerland. - Switzerland.

- Let's go, let's go, come on.

- Falling behind early took its toll

on married couple Steve and Linda.

- You couldn't keep up.

You're just slow.

- I can't run.

I don't wanna lose.

I want to stay this race really bad.

- On a steep Swiss hillside, Luke,

the race's first deaf contestant took a spill.

- Oh.

- He just ate it.

- But soldiered on with his mother

for a tearful victory.

Margie and Luke, you are team number one.

[Margie and Luke cheering]

Jennifer struggled to keep up.

- Damn it, this is so freaking hard.

- While Linda barely inched forward.

- But we're gonna be eliminated.

- I'm trying to. - We got to do this, Linda.

- Giving last place, Christie and Jodi, a glimmer of hope.

- Girls are just as strong as boys remember.

Get on it, let's go.

- And set up a final sprint to the mat.

- They're going back.

Go back.

- Where Preston and Jennifer came up short.

I'm sorry to tell you,

you had been eliminated from the race.

- You did great.

- At the end of the leg,

all the teams were impressed

by Margie and Luke's first place finish.

- Luke and Margie coming in first was amazing.

The truth is it really challenges

your sense of what people are capable of.

- Who has nerves of steel?

Luke.

- We're impressed just by not only their skills,

but we're impressed by their integrity.

- Margie is the bionic woman.

Luke is super fast

and Luke is also extraordinarily observant.

They definitely seemed to be reckoned with.

["The Amazing Race" theme music]

- These are the Bernese Alps,

a vast mountain range cutting

through Southwestern Switzerland

and at the base of these majestic peaks, Stechelberg.

This traditional country village was the first pit stop

in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

The teams waiting here have no idea

what's in store for them.

Margie and Luke who were the first to arrive at : PM,

[Margie and Luke cheering]

Will depart at : AM.

- Fly to Munich, Germany.

- Teams must now fly to the city of Munich, Germany.

When they land, they'll drive themselves

to the village of Ruhpolding

and ride this cable car to the top of the mountain,

where they'll find their next clue.

- Okay, let's go.

- Mama, let's hurry.

- A lot of misconceptions have happened

while Luke was growing up.

He has been called Ret*rded, slow.

It couldn't be farther from the truth.

He's gone to college.

I wanna prove a lot of people, the deaf people

can do different things.

When we get to the airport, find a flight out very soon.

- You have $ for this league of the race.

Do you, by any chance, have a cell phone we can borrow.

Thank you so much.

Okay, you look at the phone for a second.

It's hard not to think of myself

as the leader of our team.

I've always been the elder brother.

- Can you just tell me,

I'm trying to get out of the automated.

- Real question is whether or not

we'll be able to unprogram decades of big brother,

baby sister interaction.

And whether out we can allow that partnership to work.

I need to make reservations for a flight from Zurich

to Munich, Germany.

- Okay, here we go.

- Yeah. - Rock on, yeah.

- I think our confidence level is right here.

We're running about %.

- Rock and roll, we're ready.

- And I think we'll get better as we go along.

And we actually made up about maybe a half a minute.

- Because we ran.

- Fly to Munich, Germany.

Let's go.

I injured myself in the last leg. Ah, my groin.

And I'm not going to give way to it.

I've just gotta keep limping my way across the world.

We just need to call the airline.

- Fly to Munich, Germany.

- We need to go to the airport, please.

- I have anxiety.

This trip is just too intense.

- Stop being so anxious.

We're doing this together and this is sweet, you know.

- All right, let's go. We need to get a cab.

Do you wanna see if he has a phone?

You know, every minute counts.

So we're just trying to play it really smart.

- All right, let's go.

- Let's ask him if we can use the phone.

- Alrighty. - Let's go.

- Do you have a telephone?

I definitely think I still see Jen

in that little sister role.

Swiss flies out at : in the morning.

Write that down.

: Lufthansa.

- Okay. We want the Swiss, obviously.

I'm the younger sister

and she has to play the big sister role

and it pisses me off.

Where's the flight information?

- Right here.

- You ready? - Let's go.

We have absolutely got to do things

a little different today.

- All right.

We weren't the first ones eliminated.

So that's just wonderful.

If we just try as hard as we can,

do the best we can.

- And I was totally wrong

for treating her like I did.

- You know I don't hold that against you.

- I know, if you want to take your rain jacket off,

you probably don't need it now.

- Which one? Swiss?

- The :.

We will get there at : in the morning?

That's great. And that's the earliest one today, right?

- Yeah, I just want to see if there's any availabilities

for two tickets at :.

Can I book two tickets please?

- I need to book your earliest flight to Munich.

: AM?

And what time is the next earliest flight you have?

- Do you have a cell phone that we could call the airline?

- Yes. - Oh cool.

So maybe we could make the first flight.

- Now it's chill time.

Count the money.

Three, plus some change.

We know our strong points.

We started at third so we can just kind of chill.

- Relax.

Not always be on G O.

Not always be on, you know, on that trigger.

- Oh, what is that?

- Good job. - We're good.

We're done. - We're good.

- She's pretty confident that this is the first flight.

- So they're reserved and everything then.

- Awesome. - Awesome. Awesome.

- We have tickets for the : flight.

So we hope to be at the airport shortly.

- Thank you so much.

- We're starting to feel more comfortable

and not as intimidated by the race.

- And Germany has beer.

So I hope there's a beer challenge.

- All right, let's go. Got to get a good cab.

- Thank you, love when you open the door for me.

Can we borrow your phone?

Thank you.

- Thank you.

- Oh, I think that maybe : is the first one.

So come on, let's get in line.

- Let's go. - Rock and roll, here we go.

- Good morning, I would like to reserve some tickets.

- Excuse me, could you help us make a reservation?

And we'd like to get on the :, if we can.

- Just a moment. - Okay.

- :, come on.

- Oh, look there buying Mike, right here.

- You have a : fly on Swiss Airline.

- You found two tickets.

Oh, excellent, we got 'em.

Thank you. - You're welcome.

- Hi, we need tickets to Munich like them.

- Are you all already holding a reservation?

- No.

- I'm very lucky.

- You only have one seat in economy.

- You can't go stand by?

- When is the next flight?

- :? Great.

Okay. We'll take those definitely.

- Let's go ahead and do that. - Yep.

- The first flight departing at : AM

carries Jaime and Cara, Kisha and Jen, Steve and Linda,

Margie and Luke, Mel and Mike.

Brad and Victoria, Amanda and Kris and Tammy and Victor.

- So right now we went from third to ninth.

The only ones we haven't seen were Jodi and Christie.

- The first mistake was we didn't call ahead

and get flights.

- All teams are now making their way to Munich, Germany.

[upbeat German music]

- Pardon me?

I'll span this way.

- Right here?

Okay. - Right behind you.

- Mom, mom. - Straight ahead.

- Oh jeez.

- Go, go, go.

- You okay? - Yeah, I'm good.

- The car's here.

Go here. - Okay, I'll drive.

- Where do I go?

- Drive yourselves to the village of Ruhpolding.

- So are we going the right direction?

- I am pretty confident that this is the right direction.

- Okay.

Stechelberg A, straight ahead.

- All right, we're in good shape.

- Straight.

- Yep, A.

- Oh, love the Autobahn.

- He's telling us to follow him.

- Awesome, I love Luke and his mom.

They're freaking awesome.

- It's crazy.

We're racing down the Autobahn.

It's all matching Mercedes.

Das is good, das is very good.

- Hopefully we're going in the right direction.

- We were on more like American highway,

now we're on streets,

so it's a little confusing.

- Right here.

- Ruhpolding, we are doing so awesome.

They aren't even behind us.

You drive great.

You got it? - Yeah. Let's go.

- Let's go.

- Slow down babe.

- Cable cars are right up there.

- Can we go on this one?

Okay, great, thank you. - Thank you.

- It's leaving in two minutes.

You see that? - Yeah.

- Come on.

- Great, great, great.

We just lucked out.

I'm my gosh, look at that.

We're going all the way to the top.

Kris and Amanda are right there.

Osterbon.

They're like breathing down her neck.

We need to get up cable car.

- In minutes. - minutes?

Oh, we missed it.

- That is so cool. - Wow.

- That is so steep, it is ridiculous.

Oh, let's go. - Okay, go.

I'm right behind you.

- Look for a marked path.

This way, see the arrow? - Yeah's go.

Clue box, come on. - There you go.

Roadblock.

Who's ready to fly like an eagle?

- I am.

- In this roadblock, that person must have the guts

to run off this mountain and quite literally

take up flying leap.

Teams must choose an instructor

and in tandem, paraglide off the mountain

to the ground , feet below.

The other teammate must ride the gondola

back down the mountain and wait for their partner

in the designated landing area.

Once the paraglider lands and reunites with their partner,

they'll receive their next clue.

In the event of unsafe wind conditions.

Teams may wait an undetermined amount of time

for conditions to improve.

Or choose a minute hike down the mountain.

- You can do it, Tammy.

- You look good.

Can we go? - I'm so jealous.

- We are a lot lost. - We're not a lot lost.

- Okay, well we don't know where we're going.

So are we going right?

- Let's just, um.

- Are we going right or straight?

- I say go straight. - Okay.

- Go, go.

- All right, let's do it.

- Let's get out.

- Yeah, let's go.

- Everybody's here, damn it. - Don't freak out.

- What's up guys. - Hey.

- Good job. - Hey guys.

- I have to tell you some things.

Now we have bad weather condition.

We cannot fly now.

The wind is too strong.

- How long do we have to wait?

- I don't know. You can wait or choose to walk down.

All the way down?

- Yeah.

- Gosh.

I don't know why the wind would change all of a sudden.

I guess I'll just walk down.

- This way, all right.

- This way, you guys.

- This way, I've gotta go now and I've gotta go fast.

Good luck Tammy.

See you at the bottom.

- Who's ready to fly like an eagle?

Who's doing it? - Okay, I'll do it.

- I'm scared of heights, babe.

- Okay, I'll do it.

- Last but not least.

Who's ready to fly like an eagle?

- I am. - Okay.

- I'm old but I have to do some of these fun challenges.

- He wanted to do it.

So we'll see what happens.

- And wait or walk down.

- My groin, oh my goodness sakes.

My leg is not gonna stand going down that hill.

I'm prepared to wait until we fly.

- Rock and roll.

- Right now we're gonna have to haul butt.

Ruhpolding is straight. - We can catch up.

- Right now we're just kind of playing catch up.

Anything can happen.

Me, myself, I can really give a

about smiling and being a happy person.

Because we're playing for million dollar.

- There's the clue box.

- Who's ready to fly like an eagle.

- I wanna do it.

You're gonna let me do it?

- Yep. - Oh my God.

We're at , feet.

It's beautiful.

- Oh geez, I'm scared to death of heights.

- Focus out, just like you're going down the road.

- Just don't look down this.

This isn't bad.

Look at this.

This is really nice.

I think I could do this.

- Linda's had a hard life.

She makes the best of it.

She takes a bad situation

and turns it into a good situation.

- Oh yeah, that's pretty.

- That's one of the things I admire about her.

- Okay, let's go.

We gotta race.

- So we could be standing or waiting for quite a while.

Gotta have the perfect wind conditions

for five different people.

I'm outta here.

I hope I don't regret this.

- Why don't you stay?

- Because I gotta move on. - Oh man, okay.

- There it is. - There it is.

- I'm doing it. - Are you sure?

- Yes, I'm doing it.

- Are you gonna take the trail?

- Yeah, I'm gonna walk.

- I'm gonna run it too.

- It's better than running up.

- All right, meet me at the bottom.

- Cool.

- Cara. - What?

- He said kick ass and don't get eliminated.

- Ah, thank you.

- I think that was a pretty good call.

- The problem is Mel, I guess hurt his groin or something

that he can't do it today, because of wind.

Then he's gonna have problems.

- I'm telling you, it would cr*pple me

to run down that hill.

- Feeling in a wind.

You know, more teams are on their way.

I'm gonna get going.

- Good luck.

- Not a good runner, but I wanna make Steve proud of me.

- They're dropping like flies, one by one they're leaving.

- Okay, arrow.

I just have to go.

- Marked path, right there.

Who's ready to fly like an eagle?

I'll do it. - You want to do it?

- I think you get to paraglid.

- Make it happen Captain.

- Are you doing it?

- Of course I'm doing it.

- Started to become more and more

an uneasy scenario because other teams

started catching up with us

as we continued to keep waiting for the wind.

And I knew my dad wasn't gonna be able to make it

down that hill.

- I'm getting nervous.

I think I'm gonna change my mind.

- Then run, if you feel nervous.

- Okay.

- She's giving it up.

She has to go all the way down now.

- What is she doing?

- She has to run down.

If you chicken out, you have to run down.

So I'm not chickening out.

I don't about you.

The short guys haven't come yet.

- No.

- All right, here we go.

Let's go find the clues.

- Oh please let the wind change.

- It's the mini men.

- Oh no, the last team is coming.

- Who's ready to fly like an eagle.

It's your turn.

- They didn't even catch the plane we were on this morning.

Now I'm catching up with them far behind us.

Don't be afraid.

- You're telling me that.

- I have always in my life wanted to do this.

I was certain that I had doomed this.

And if anybody else leaves,

we'll have to then simply forfeit.

Oh please, let this wind change.

- Chrissy, we need to think about this.

You can change your mind,

because that thing doesn't stop blowing.

We can be here all day.

That's why they all took off running.

- Now they're all gonna decide to go.

And I'm gonna be left here looking like an ass.

I made a bad decision, I guess.

- Do you think the wind's gonna stop?

I don't think it's gonna stop.

- Oh, poor Mikey.

He wanted to go all the way with this.

It's an hour run on gravel.

- You know who you, that's fine.

Yeah pilot, I'm gonna do the other one.

- Okay.

- They're leaving me.

Oh, I'm all, I'm good with that.

- Come on girls, don't leave.

- Chris.

- Don't leave. - Here you go.

- I guess we're all gonna go.

- They're all doing it now.

They're going down, oh God, I lost.

Oh, so we're gonna lose the race because I stayed up here.

They're all doing it now.

They're gone down.

Oh God, I lost.

Oh.

- This is the first time since we started

that I'm actually worried about it being eliminated.

- You know, I can't pray for divine intervention.

God has enough to do.

I can just thank you for this beautiful place.

Thank you for having a son that is so great.

But I can't pray for God to intervene on my behalf of wind.

But if it changed, I would be very grateful.

Please, please let this happen.

- Okay, Mel. - Yes, we're gonna try.

- Oh wow.

- The wind changed.

It was a miracle.

- It looks like my dad might actually be able to jump,

which is like a freaking miracle straight from God.

- I haven't seen a marker in a while.

Aha, yeah.

- You can do it Tammy.

Good job, you did so well, awesome.

Drive yourselves to Schonau am Konigssee.

- Teams must now drive themselves miles

to the Schonau am Konigssee

where they'll find their next clue.

- All right, let's go here.

We're so good.

Beergeshgarden, here we come.

- Here goes. - Oh, whoa.

- Whoa. - Oh man.

I'd lose the race for this.

- Who's that coming?

- Is that Kris?

- Oh mom. - Yeah, Margie.

She is tough.

- Drive yourself to,

I have no idea where we're going.

Just let's look up in the map.

Who's this?

Good job, babe.

Drive yourselves to Schonau.

- I C H.

- Looking for. - Schonau.

- Yeah.

- Wait, wait, wait.

- Like this and then that way.

- Yes. - Let's go.

- There it is, here it is right there.

- Thank God that was you and not me,

because I wouldn't have made it.

- This is it. Yep, yep, yep, yep, woo hoo.

- Come on, shmoo!

- That was hard.

Don't squeeze me, I can't breathe.

- Schonau am Konigssee.

- My dad's right up there.

That is so cool.

- Oh man, this is beautiful.

Oh, this is a treat of a lifetime.

You're looking down over a fairy land.

A land that couldn't possibly be true.

The Alps all in fall colors

and the green valley sweeping away in every direction.

It was, it was wonderful.

- I was feeling like it was over

and now I feel like there's hope.

There's some hope, we're still in this.

We're totally in this.

- I'm not sure to navigate on the left or on the right.

I think probably the right.

I'll keep going this way.

- Ha now.

Oh, there's a marker.

Yeah, I'm going the right way.

- This is my strength right here. I love running.

It's pretty simple.

- Here's a big sign.

How you doing?

- Oh, this is a treat of a lifetime.

This is Bavaria, isn't it? - It is Bavaria.

- Yeah, we should have a beer afterwards.

I can stay up here all day if I had the sandwich.

- Oh crap. - Oh.

- It's Mel.

- This makes me angry.

- Oh, I will never forget this.

Oh baby, yes.

- That was so awesome.

- I bet the house on that.

- Drive yourselves to Schonau am Konigssee.

- Did they run or not?

- They are running. - They're all running?

- Yeah. - It's a foot race, great.

- Man, I can say us going back to last real quick.

- Holy crap, we're ahead.

If you had gone on that walk, you may never come back.

They may have just found your bones

in, you know, the hinterlands of Germany like years later.

- Konigssee.

All right, we're here.

Do you see it, it's right there.

All right, here we go.

- Detour.

- In this detour teams have to choose

between two tasks in which success

depends on precision.

Their choice, balancing Dolly or Austrian Folly.

In balancing Dolly, teams must ride a segway transporter

along a two mile obstacle course.

When they reach the end of the course,

they'll receive their next clue.

Riding the segway along an obstacle course

requires balance and skill.

But teams who are able to master the controls quickly

may find themselves scooting ahead.

In Austrian Folly, teams must go into this party tent

and throw pies made of traditional Austrian Schlog

at a target.

What they don't know is that the target

is their partner's face.

They must take turns smacking each other in the face

until they find a pie with a cherry filling.

Teams will present themselves to the band leader

who will give them their next clue.

Success is based on how fast teams

can search through the pies

and teams that don't move quick enough,

could find themselves getting creamed.

- I think they can throw all of those pies.

- Good, we're gonna do Austrian Folly.

- Okay.

I think we throw at each other.

You pick your pie.

- Oh God.

- All right, let's go.

- Hold on, wait for me, wait.

Oh my God, no cherry filling.

- Ouch, cream in my eye.

- Yuck. - Don't smash it on my face.

- This is really nasty.

- Not to hard.

I got cake in my nose.

- Oh, cherry filling.

Good job, good job, good job.

All right, make your way on foot to the Holtzfiger.

- Teams must now make their way on foot

to these Terolian wood cutters

and have them cut a small piece of wood.

Once teams have the wood,

it will be stamped with their next clue.

- Yeah. - I'm glad we did that.

- Excuse me.

Do you know holtzfiger is?

- On the right side.

- He said this way into the right.

- Right here.

We got it.

Holtzfiger.

It's like saw faster, come on.

Okay, you got it.

Give it to the guy.

Thank you so much.

Pit stop, Schloss Hellbrunn.

- Teams must now drive themselves

to the Austrian city of Salzburg and find Schloss Hellbrunn.

Schloss, which means castle and German,

is an appropriate name for this impressive estate

and the pit stop for this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- Let's go.

♪ Hellbrunn, Hellbrunn, Hellbrunn, Hellbrunn. ♪

- Stop singing. - Okay sorry.

Well, we're going to pit stop. - I know, thank God.

- This will be our leisurely stroll to the pit stop.

- I hope this is the right way.

Hope this is where I'm supposed to meet them.

- Unfortunately, Linda's not the best with directions.

- Come on, Mark, yeah.

- You can do it.

I'm so proud of you girlfriend.

- Yeah, I'm ready?

- Good job.

I'll read it since you're completely out of breathe.

- Drive yourselves to Schonau am Konigssee

- Drive yourselves to something, Schonau am Konigssee.

- I don't see any road markers.

I hear traffic, please be who I'm supposed to meet.

- Perhaps she made a wrong turn.

- Don't say that.

Oh my gosh, look at my sister.

I'm gonna cry.

- Please have Christie somewhere around there.

- Where in the hell did I run to?

Man, I bet I screwed up.

- Drive yourself to Shonau am Konigssee.

- Come on girl.

- We're not where we're supposed to be.

This is not good.

I've made a mistake.

Oh God, he's gonna hate me now.

- THere's Christie.

Come on Christie, you're done.

Okay, drive yourself to that word.

Good luck.

- See ya. - I think I got lost.

Damn.

- Sitting there waiting for Linda to come in.

She makes a wrong turn and that could be disastrous.

[Linda crying]

- I wish I wouldn't have walked down that stupid mountain.

Oh God, I can't go back up that mountain.

I have to get some help.

Do you know how to get to the cable cars?

Help.

- Sitting here waiting for Linda to come in.

If she makes the wrong turn and that could be disastrous.

- Came down the route mountain, the wrong way.

Couldn't find a cable car place.

This kind lady offered to drive to the cable car station.

Maybe he'll be happy to see me.

I don't know.

- Hellbrunn Schloss. - Yay.

- Yes, Hellbrunn Schloss, right there.

We're at Schloss Hellbrunn.

- Find Phil.

- Oh, down at the end. - Are you sure?

- Yes, down at the end.

- Good job, good job, good job.

Tell us good things.

- Welcome to Salzberg, Austria.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Tammy and Victor, you are team number one.

- Awesome. - You're gross.

- As the winners of this leg of the race

you have each won a hybrid go cart.

- Oh, that's awesome. - That is so cool.

- Have you guys taken a look

at how ridiculous you both look?

- We gotta go get a shower. - You don't think I look good?

- It's quite becoming.

- I think Victor and I make such a good team,

because you know,

as much as I don't wanna admit it,

we have a year long relationship.

And the fact that Victor makes the final decisions

and I've had years to sort of get used to that.

- It doesn't mean she's happy about it.

- No, but I, but I know that's how it is.

- Konigssee to the right.

- Yeah, it looks like we're here.

- All right.

- Detour, balancing Dolly or Austrian Folly?

- Austrian Folly.

- Should we should do that?

We just sit there and throw and throw and throw

and throw and throw until there's red.

- Let's do Austrian Folly.

- The target is your partners face.

- When you find the pastry with the cherry filling

the Maestro will hand you the next clue.

- Go.

- Go, go, faster.

- That was lemon.

Yes, this is fun.

- Yeah!

- Time to hoof it. - I have cake in my eye.

- Get a piece of wood, let's go.

This pie is actually delicious.

- There it is.

That's the mountain.

Hot dang, I came way off the mark.

Thank you very much. - Good luck.

- There's a marker.

Can't give up.

- Good job, Linda.

Hang tight for just a minute.

- Let's go, we're not far behind.

We we're still in this, okay.

- Thank you for not being mad at me.

- I couldn't imagine running the race without Linda.

And she gets out here and she'll run against a year old.

And she does it for me.

I respect her for that.

- I things will be all right?

- This is like the funnest thing ever.

This is actually the first task I've gotten to done.

- Gotten to do. - Yeah whatever.

Yes, there we go.

- I can't wait to get all this pie off me.

It looks like I have really bad hair gel.

- Looks like "Something About Mary" times .

- Schonau am Konigssee - Wow, this is so beautiful.

- This is like paradise.

Maybe we stumbled in the heaven and don't know it.

Oh my God. - There it is.

Ride a segway along an off road obstacle course

to your next clue.

- There. - We're segway pros.

- This one, you just have to throw pies.

Let's do pies.

- No.

- It'll be fast.

We throw it at each other

one at a time.

[people cheering]

- Oh these are good.

Go fast, fast, fast.

- Mike, slow down.

I think we picked the longest challenge.

Oh finish, go, go, go, go.

- Thank you.

- Time to hoof it and get a piece of wood.

- Mom, let's switch. - No.

Maybe we're close now.

- Okay, okay, okay.

- Pit stop, oh my God.

- There it is.

- I've never ridden a segway.

- Pie throwing? - Yeah.

- Pie throwing it is.

- Oh, Jen, we're going the wrong way.

Are you serious? - Yes.

I need you to go back to that sign.

- We done turn around yet again.

- She wants to be the big sister.

She doesn't think I know anything.

And that's where I get extremely frustrated.

- Go right. - Are you sure?

- I'm positive?

- Yep, we go right? - We're doing good.

- You got it.

- I really wanna make you proud.

I really did.

- You did the mountain, didn't you?

- The wrong way.

- Don't matter, you did it.

You can take it easy.

Just kick back while I drive.

I'm gonna do that.

Get you some sitting.

- Sit there and look pretty.

[Margie cheering] - Thank you.

Time to hoof it.

- Pit stop. - Come on, Mom.

- Praise the lord.

- Time to hoof it.

We just kicked some butt.

- Tastes pretty good.

- Thank you. - Thank you, pit stop.

- Woo.

- Do you wanna try it?

- Okay let's try segway. - Come on.

People drive these around the mall.

We gotta be able to do this.

We know exactly where we're going now.

When am I supposed to be turning?

- I see the box.

Just pull over.

I said pull over right here.

- Okay.

- Let's go.

- Okay, here we go.

- All right. - I got it.

- Segways.

- All right.

- We're gonna do the segways.

- Let's go. - The race is on.

- Hey, you don't know where it is?

It's all the way over there.

- Thanks.

- It's all the way over there, thanks guys.

- Thank you.

- There's two left.

We're only ahead of probably only ahead of one team.

- Do you wanna try the pie right now?

- And I thought for sure, you'd be screaming at me.

Thank you for being so kind.

- It's not over.

- It's not over,

you're still thinking about being mad at me?

- Could be.

- We have no idea where here.

We need to ask someone.

Excuse me, do you know where Schloss Hellbrunn is?

- Two kilometers. - Thank you, buddy.

- Hellbrunn, you got it.

Good job, Mikey.

You see it? - There's something.

How do you open this?

This is the entrance. - Are you sure?

I think we should go around.

- I don't wanna go around.

Making us work for it.

- Oh, run. - Let's get out.

- There it is.

- Do you know how to open this? Get your stuff, Mike.

- I'm reading the map. - Ridiculous.

- Mel and Mike, you are team number two.

- Yeah.

- Good job babe.

- Amanda and Kris, you are team number three.

- Yes.

- The finish.

- Thank you.

Holtzfiger. - Yeah, this has gotta be it.

- Hi, Hellbrunn, pit stop.

Oh my God.

- Margie and Luke, you are team number four.

- Yes. - No.

- Brad and Victoria, you are team number five.

- Five. - I'll take it.

- A stunt Segway.

Thank you so much.

Get a piece of wood.

- That was actually pretty fun.

Thank you. - Get a piece of wood.

- Let's go.

- There you go, there it is.

- Pit stop. - Thank you.

- Thank you, sir.

- I think it's right here.

- Pit stop. - All right.

- Is that cherry?

Nope.

- We gotta hurry.

- Jaime and Cara, - Yes.

- You are team number six. - Yeah.

- Wait a minute, I guess we're here.

- All right.

- This is the most ridiculous thing in the world.

All right babe, give some luck.

- Yeah.

Thank you.

- Time to hoof it.

Get a piece of wood.

So this is gonna be cute.

- Detour, when you're seeing red,

you'll receive your next clue.

- Let's do that one.

Hey, where's the Holtzfiger.

What does this word mean?

Holtzfiger.

- To cut the wood. - Oh, you cut the wood.

- Hey, look, Linda, look, see you still in it.

See, there's a team.

- Hey guys. - Hey.

- This sucks, I'm getting nervous.

- There's a bunch of pies in there.

- Your target is your partner's face.

You can hit me. - No, it's back and forth.

- Not so hard.

Easy. - Okay.

- This is where you would cut wood.

It say search.

Perfect.

- There's a horse.

- And there's some wood right there.

- Who's gonna stamp it though?

- I think this is it.

No cherry. I never knew throwing things is so much fun.

It just relieved so much pressure.

- You ready?

- I figured he be gentle.

He whacked me hard.

So I was like all right, bring it on.

- As usual we're running in circles.

- Why is this so difficult?

- I don't know.

- Damn it. - They're gonna be done.

- They're not, we're not worried about them.

We're gonna get this.

- Cherry.

Get a piece of wood.

- Wow, this is frustrating.

- Do we just run through the finish line

with that piece of wood?

I swear if this is not it, I'm gonna scream.

- It's not it.

What do you wanna do?

- I don't know.

- This could take all night.

- Crap.

- Damn it, are you kidding?

- Steve and Linda, they're gonna be done.

- We're not worried about them.

We're gonna get this.

- Well, you picked the cherry.

You found the winner.

- Glad to see that.

- Who is that running right there?

- Girls are ahead of us.

- Come on, we're still in it.

- And we're going to Schloss Hellbrunn.

- I'm hoping we didn't pass it.

- No, this isn't right.

All right, go, just go, just drive.

- You see the signs, please slow down.

- Well, I can't exactly stop in the middle of the street.

- Okay, just pull over.

- She's pissing me off.

I think she wants to play the role of the big sister.

I'm sure she feels that I need to listen

to everything she says,

because everything she says is right. I'm not an idiot.

- Holtzfiger?

Thanks, thank you.

There he is, God.

- Okay, we did it, but that was not easy.

- I've never felt like such a dumb blonde in my entire life.

- We've got to quit being so literal.

- Thank you, pit stop.

- We have to get back to our car.

- Here, we gotta get outta here so they don't see us.

- Hello, aren't they beautifully carved, look at 'em.

Thank you very much.

Pit stop, let's go.

Chiao. - Chiao.

- So, okay, this has been one hell of a day.

- That's putting it mildly.

- All right.

We're gonna go two kilometers that way.

- Got it.

- We're gonna have to ask.

- Excuse, Schloss Hellbrunn?

- Which way?

- Back and then right side.

- We gotta U-turn.

- Look, right across the street, Schlossberg.

- Which way? - The yellow sign.

- That lane or that lane? - Look at my finger.

- Look at the yellow.

See the yellow sign? - Yes, damn it.

- We're just, we're just, I mean we're screwed.

Go down this road.

Why not, see what it is?

- Schloss Hellbrunn.

- Schloss Hellbrunn.

- Oh.

- Kisha and Jen, you are team number seven.

- I would have never thought that this would be

the most frustrating experience of my life.

It's mentally wearing me down

to the point where I can't even listen to her talk

without it being annoying.

- Mark and Michael, you're team number eight.

- Oh my God, yeah.

- Schloss Hellbrunn.

- This is it? - Yeah.

- Schloss Hellbrunn, right here.

- Thank God.

- Just go that way through. - Yes.

We gotta find Phil.

- Schloss Hellbrunn, it says it.

- Probably through the arch.

- Let's go.

- Hi.

- Christie and Jodi, you are team number nine

and you are still in "The Amazing Race".

You guys are cutting it fine every time.

So I'm not gonna be eliminating you on the next leg?

- No. - No.

- Welcome to Salzburg, Austria.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Steve and Linda, you're the last team to arrive.

- Yeah.

- I'm sorry to tell you,

you had both been eliminated from the race.

- You wanted to be here real bad, didn't you?

- Yes, sir.

God, I'm so sorry.

- It's okay.

You have nothing to be sorry about.

- Linda gave it a hundred percent.

It wasn't her.

We did this together.

I couldn't imagine running the race

with anyone other than Linda.

That's why I wanted her on this race.

If anybody in this world has got my back, it's her.

You know, when you get down to the root of it,

I mean we're deeply in love.

- The thing I love about Steve is how much he loves me.

And I'm really fortunate to have somebody like that.

That doesn't come along every day.

You could have a billion dollars, but,

and still not be happy.

And having him makes me happy.

- Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on "The Amazing Race",

when the race heads to Romania

teams go for the gold in gymnastics.

Amanda and Kris make a potentially fatal mistake.

Where'd you put the fanny pack?

- That has all of our money, our passports, everything.

This is terrible.

- And Tammy struggles to be heard.

- Think your brain just froze.

- He thinks I'm weak.

He thinks I get paralyzed and can't do things.

And he thinks that he's accommodating for me a lot.

And it's frustrating.
