The second you guys deviated from bankrupting him, I knew I needed a plan B.

NCIS.

Etta, there's a plan C, okay?

Hey.

Listen, I know it's hard for you to trust people, but just look at me, okay? Look at me for a second.

Etta, I'm gonna make sure that he goes to prison remembering that k*lling Kristen was the last thing he ever did as a free man.

Everything okay? Yeah.

Everything's fine.

[HARDIN COUGHING]

Hey, don't look so down.

I just can't shake the feeling he's gonna get away with it.

Well, a little birdy might have told me that since all of his ill-gotten gains are related to national security issues...

...the government has frozen all his accounts, making him destitute.

You made that happen.

Why would you do that?

'Cause you're right.

Justice isn't the same for the dirty rich.

And Hardin's money wasn't his, anyway.

I mean, why should a thief and a m*rder*r be allowed to use blood money to defend himself?

He did.

My mistake.
