I have the best question ever coming up.

These fan questions are great, and I'm glad we're getting them from the fans because that's who we're trying to speak to every week, and to have them watch the show so closely.

They know it better than we do.

We're on to your tricks.

Narrator: Once upon a time...

[Door opens]

Sorry I'm late.

Narrator: ... an evil queen...

I shall destroy your happiness.

... cast a powerful curse...

It's here!

... that sent every fairy-tale character to our world.

And the power of magic...

I love you, Henry.

... was soon everywhere.

These beloved heroes...

Is that it?

... have journeyed across realms...

Neverland.

Narrator: ... to amazing worlds...

Why, Camelot, of course.

Narrator: ... searching for their happy ending.

Now you know, Emma.

It's you.

But now...

The queen is back.

Narrator: And she's not happy.

This is a w*r.

A situation...

Your life is now in my hands.

... that has raised a number of questions.

"How do you sleep at night knowing you've robbed... "

"What would you wear to a Captain-Swan wedding?"

"Do you see any future for a Charming-Hook romance?"

Tonight, the story continues.

We made the world believe.

"Once Upon A Time" creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz...

Look at this.

... lead you into the next chapter.

There's so many stories.

... of tales untold.

Look at the great Aladdin now.

So, as evil lurks over Storybrooke, Maine...

The Evil Queen is who you are.

... let the magic begin.

Regina never should have let me out to play.

After five incredible seasons, "Once Upon a Time" embarks on a new journey, one that brings this enchanted story full circle.

When we started the show, we wanted it to feel like a summer movie.

Here's a group of heroes and villains, and they're gonna be on an adventure.

First beanstalk? You never forget your first.

Let's go.

Aah! Oh!

Aah! Aah!

You're here?

Yes, we're coming to get you!

Hold on tight, everyone!

So, the show constantly wants to keep moving forward, but like any ship out to sea, it's time to bring it home.

He's back.

And I think that's kind of what we wanted to do.

We've been to so many lands and so many places and had so many adventures, and for what?

So that we could have our happy ending.

Snow!

Charming.

And I think we have to start to question what is a happy ending.

You found me.

Did you ever doubt I would?

Kitsis: We think of it as a definitive moment, and then we pull back, and then we say "The end."

But perhaps a happy ending is something you have to live every day.

I'm home.

This is where we belong. This is where our family is.

Well, how much time do you have?

You defeated me in a way no one thought was possible.

You made me your friend.

What season 6 is about at its core is the characters.

It really is about bringing everybody back to Storybrooke after years of going to Neverland or to Oz.

Can you help me?

Horowitz: Or to the Underworld or to Camelot.

I am so not dressed for this.

We're now back in Storybrooke, and we're dealing with the aftermath of all these journeys.

And the these fairy-tale characters are in the real world, and how are they gonna make a life here?

Here's to not getting squashed by a giant.

I'll drink to that.

But if you look at the season 1 paradigm of the characters in Storybrooke versus where they are in season 6, it's wildly different.

[Both gasp]

Oh, Madam Mayor, I'm so sorry.

You should be.

Watch where you're going next time.

Regina has formed friendships.

When I stop Pan's curse, and you cross that town line, you will have the life you always wanted.

You would do that?

She is looked at it as heroic.

And now with the Evil Queen on the loose, she has to deal with the worst parts of herself.

Partitioning the darkness inside will not help you become the woman you want to be.

How do you stop them, can you stop them, and can you really take them out of you?

I'm not like you. I don't like the darkness.

Kitsis: I think the first thing we need to know is that...

Well, we're certainly not in Storybrooke anymore.

... it's a place where people have run to.

We just want to know where we are.

Horowitz: At the end of last season, we saw a glimpse into the Land of Untold Stories.

All you need to know is that you don't want to be here.

In that glimpse, there were some Easter eggs, maybe a few characters, maybe a few hints that could come together in the Land of Untold Stories.

And everyone has their own tale.

Perhaps there were some musketeers, perhaps there's people from Victorian England, as we saw.

Perhaps there are people from Agrabah.

When you see the blimp going over and you see the different mash-up of the worlds, it really is kind of what the show was always about.

And just like in the pilot of the show, when we saw the book flip open with Emma, in the season finale of last year, we saw Henry flipping through a book, and we got glimpses of perhaps some other tales we may see explored this year.

There's so many stories.

So there were a couple of other things that...

Yeah, okay.

... were pointed out here...

Paul Bunyan was in one of the storybooks.

Well, I'm from Minnesota, so I have a lot of respect for Paul Bunyan.

Aladdin.

Well, we saw at Comic-Con he was in the teaser, so I hope he's coming.

Look at the great Aladdin now.

"When will Darth Vader show up in Storybrooke?"

Who do I have the honor to welcome into my home?

Who says he already hasn't?

I'm Princess...

Leia.

Look at what you've become.

Regina, now is your chance. Destroy her.

You don't have what it takes.

We have an evil queen who has got all these old grudges back.

The only comfort for me is Snow White's suffering.

Well, I've tried to k*ll you, and I've tried to curse you, and none of it's worked.

Now get down on your knees.

And if I don't?

Well, then, someone will pay the price.

Grudges against Emma...

Show some respect. It's "Your Majesty."

There's a lot of fun, we think, to be had with that.

You.

How do you walk in that thing?

With the poise and composure of a queen.

We should watch out because this evil queen makes the other evil queen look like Jiminy Cricket.

I've been waiting a long time for this.

Narrator: So many stories yet to be told.

We need the Savior.

The Evil Queen is back...

You need me.

... and our heroes unite in an all-new season of "Once Upon a Time."

Narrator: "Once Upon a Time" returns tonight.

We'll be ready.

And all of your favorites are back for a brand-new season.

[Cheering]

Eddie...

Uh, that's like saying what your favorite child is.

You have one child, so that's easy.

Yeah, so that's it.

Um, you know, my favorite episode changes every year.

The one that sticks out to me the most was episode 7, "The Huntsman."

I need someone who will have no qualms carving a heart out and bringing it back for my collection.

That's me.

That was a moment where we started to really figure out the show, and we really figured out where we wanted to go.

You're going to k*ll me.

You have good instincts.

It was an episode that was both dark...

I wanted a heart, and a heart I shall have.

[Groans]

Kitsis: ... but yet, at the same time, it really set up a lot of where we were going, and you also saw Emma starting...

For the very first time, you saw a little bit of a cr*ck in her armor.

All better?

Yeah.

Horowitz: What really comes to mind is the finale of season 1.

We all got together to watch it, and at the end of the episode, the curse breaks.

I love you, Henry.

Snow!

Charming.

Horowitz: Snow and Charming recognize each other.

They run into their arms, they kiss.

And then we see the magic roll in, and everybody got really excited and the show ended, and I remember thinking, "Oh, no.

"I really love this show, and I hope we can figure out how to keep doing it."

I want to change my answer to that.

[Doorbell rings]

Are you Emma Swan?

Yeah. Who are you?

When we first met Emma...

My name's Henry. I'm your son.

Kitsis: ... she didn't believe in the curse.

I am not in any book.

I'm a real person, and I'm no savior.

And then, now we see she's a believer, and she has fought so many battles.

[Roars]

She's embraced Storybrooke, she's embraced her family.

Killian.

She's embraced Hook.

Oh, ho!

She's embraced being the savior.

Horowitz: Really, for Emma, it is about the toll all these seasons have taken on her... what she's been through, what she's fought for, what she's gained.

[Grunts]

After everything we've been through...

Darkness, Hades, being separated by realms...

But it's not been easy.

... just wanted to say something.

So now, how's she gonna handle that?

And what's that, Swan?

I love you.

[Giggles]

The Savior can't come this far and not play princess for a day.

Well, first I'd have to know if it was afternoon, if it was evening, but, knowing those two, I bet it's a destination wedding, you know, maybe on some beach.

Horowitz: If it's a fairy-tale wedding for anyone, you got to go to Eduardo Castro, our costume designer.

Yeah.

He'll take care of that.

I would actually just ask him and say, "What time and what do I wear?"

That's my dress.

Hmm.

Looks better on me, don't you think?

But the truth is is it's very assumptive because who knows if both of them will survive the season?

Hold on!

I can't! Aah!

[Sighs] One of these days, I'm gonna stop chasing this woman.

Kitsis: They may not invite the two of us after all the adventures we've put them through.

We threw them back in time...

How would I know how to get back to the future?

Who do I look like, Marty McFly?

Marty McWho?

... we've k*lled one of them, we made them go to the Underworld.

We turned one into the Dark One, so the two of us may not be on the list.

But here's what I love about our fans with this question...

"What would you where to a #CaptainSwan wedding?" is a very, very manipulative question.

We're onto your tricks.

Yeah.

We're onto your tricks.

Emma: Killian, you can't do this.

We both know there's no other way, love.

We have to hurry. You have to help me, Swan.

Horowitz: You know, Hook's in a place where he has gone on a really difficult journey, which involved dying...

I don't want to lose you.

Let me die a hero.

That's the man I want you to remember... please.

Aah!

... and coming back to life.

And Emma has finally told him that she loves him without being under duress.

I'm so happy you're all right.

So now, I think he's got to figure out, can he exist in this world?

Can he have a real relationship, and can he deal with his past?

Harden up and get ready to set sail, mates.

Let's not forget that Captain Hook was a pirate...

What's the name of the place we're headed, Captain?

Neverland!

Kitsis: ... for hundreds of years.

I remember you.

It's always nice, to make an impression.

And there may be many people in the Land of Untold Stories...

Bloody hell.

... who want to get revenge on the captain.

What do you really want?

Aah!

You should always be prepared.

Don't lie to me.

Eddie...

It was awesome.

Does that mean that person's here in Underbrooke?

Underbrooke. Ha!

One of my favorite things was not only writing these characters, like the Blind Witch...

Can you imagine?

Kitsis: ... and getting to see people again like Stealthy...

Here you go, Stealthy... your unfinished business.

I hadn't realized how much resentment I held against Bashful.

One of our favorite things to do on the show is, what's your curse job?

I do love the irony of your job... you watching children.

A miller's daughter once again. Hurry now, Cora.

You have flour to deliver.

Things like that were very season 1 for me.

Season 5, the 100th episode made us all very nostalgic.

Aren't you glad to see your dear old father?

Hey, Emma.

Neal.

It's really great to see you.

One of my favorite moments was Regina didn't listen to her father, took his heart and crushed it...

I'm sorry.

... so she could enact this curse, even though he warned her it wouldn't bring her happiness.

And the fact that she got to hug her father and say she was sorry...

It's okay, dear. It's okay.

It's okay.

... and have him see who she's become...

I really love that moment.

And I've never been more proud.

Robin: Your father's here, and everything's gonna be all right.

I wouldn't be so sure.

Horowitz: I think coming out of the Underworld had a profound effect on all the characters.

The loss of Robin Hood has impacted on Regina in a major way.

And I think we're gonna be seeing her deal with her grief very early on.

Emma, please...

I've already had enough people feeling sorry for me today.

And I think it's gonna affect her for a long time, and it, you know, is an effect that also kind of spirals out to all the different characters.

Narrator: "Once Upon a Time"...

Do you trust me?

Of course I do.

Narrator: ... the magic of fairy tales came to our world.

I need you to believe.

And people everywhere fell in love.

Now you're ready for your big moment.

Our theme is the one thing everybody in the world needs, which is hope.

Love is hope. It fuels our dreams.

And if you're in it, you need to enjoy it.

Kitsis: This is a show for those who believe in magic and want hope in their lives, and I think that strikes a chord with a lot of people.

Have faith.

How can you be so sure?

Because I have the one thing you need now more than anything... hope.

In the pilot, Mary Margaret gives Emma the speech about hope.

I gave the book to him because I wanted Henry to have the most important thing anyone can have...

That really summed up the show.

Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a very powerful thing.

I think we expressed it very early on in the show in a scene between Henry and Emma, as they were walking down the street in Storybrooke, and Henry was explaining what was going on.

So, everyone here is a fairy-tale character, they just don't know it.

You're the only one who can stop our curse.

Horowitz: Emma was a skeptic, but you saw in Henry this incredible belief...

I know the hero never believes at first.

If they did, it wouldn't be a very good story.

Horowitz: ... this incredible faith that there was something more than what had been a really dreary life to him.

I knew you'd believe me.

I never said I did.

Why else would you be here?

We can go anywhere you want to go.

Anywhere?

They would find some sort of magical object that needed to be found.

The palace servants used to tell stories of a fearsome creature that lived in a nearby cave.

What kind of creature?

You mean like when they fought Medusa?

Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Kind of like that.

[Screaming]

And then at the end of it, they would realize they have found a new insight into themselves.

I'm sorry.

I was so focused on finding a way to b*at Regina, that I almost lost the thing I could never live without... you.

Horowitz: I think we've seen Charming vacations.

I think we've seen their honeymoon.

Yeah, they fought Medusa. That's what they do.

This year, we really want to see what being Snow White means.

Snow's someone who has always been in motion, always been fighting a battle, always been in conflict.

[Roars]

Back away from my daughter!

How do you try to find that happy ending for you, your family, and your subjects?

Stop denying who you are.

Horowitz: And I think last season we saw Snow realize she wasn't Mary Margaret anymore.

I just don't want to ever run the risk of forgetting who I was again.

She shed that part of herself and has really embraced being Snow White.

I want to be Snow White again.

Well, it's about time.

Snow.

Kitsis: She is Snow White. She is not afraid.

She has faced dragons...

[Roars]

... and witches, and she's been all over the world.

Whoa!

Kitsis: I think Snow's kind of asking herself, "What's the point of fighting if we don't ever get to celebrate?"

Like any leader of a family, she just wants a bit of the normal life.

It's been quite a life.

Horowitz: Snow White and Prince Charming have an epic love.

It's a love that started this entire series.

You're too late.

And I think this year, we're going to see that love be tested in a new way.

Open it.

Horowitz: And the two of them have to fight for each other once more.
[Gasps]

You found me.

Yeah.

Well, yeah, I do.

He's your brother, right? I had a brother, too, you know.

Ah, you would have liked him. He was a thief and a liar.

I think Charming and Hook are gonna bro out a little bit.

It's time you and I have a little talk about your intentions with my daughter.

That's a little old-fashioned, even by my standards, and I still pay with doubloons.

Kitsis: I think he's gonna probably even ask for his help in an episode coming up soon.

Hook is technically 200 to 300 years older...

Thank you.

We made our own choices.

Really? I didn't know you cared.

... but not necessarily more mature.

I did it for Emma.

Ah. Figured.

And I... guess you've grown on me a bit.

Hmm?

Well, I tend to have that effect on people.

All right, don't push it.

Snow!

Charming? You found me!

You found me.

I'd say for Charming, this year it's being back in Storybrooke with Snow.

You did it.

Did you ever doubt I would?

No.

Horowitz: But I think there's going to be a really personal battle for Charming...

That there's something that hopefully will be very unexpected that rears its head that Charming has to face and makes him look both into his past and into his future.

In any world, you are my hero.

Mary Margaret!

Ooh!

Aah!

David!

I'm good.

[Grunts]

And both those things, what his future's holding and what happened in his past, collide...

James, wait.

... and he's gonna be in a really sticky dilemma.

Kitsis: Oftentimes, we say don't let the past get in the way of your future, and I think we're gonna see Charming is very much going to be confronted with that problem.

We'll find another way. I know it.

What makes you so sure?

This does.

And I know it better than anyone.

[Grunts]

Narrator: It's an all-new season of "Once Upon a Time"...

Here's to starting over.

... where the power of magic always comes...

[Humming]

Snow?

Narrator: ... with a price.

What are you doing?

[Voice breaking] There has to be another way!

There isn't.

You've worked too hard to have your happiness destroyed.

Where are we going?

Somewhere horrible.

This is a show about fairy tales, magic, evil queens, and witches.

[Laughs]

Kitsis: If we don't have curses and spells... do you want to see them go to the DMV?

[Laughs]

Horowitz: What we always try to do in constructing the curses is find a way that they can reveal character.

Now see me do what you weren't powerful enough to do yourself.

Starting with the first curse we ever saw on the show, which was Regina's curse to bring everybody to Storybrooke, that curse put people into new identities.

Who does he think you are?

Snow White.

But those identities were really reflections of who they were and weaknesses within themselves that they had to face.

You have to love yourself, Emma.

The only way to ever truly be in control of your powers is to embrace them.

So, that's kind of the standard we try to hold all the curses to, which is, how are we going to explore these characters further.

So, it is a curse.

Your magic is limited by its own rotten core, Rumplestiltskin.

Anyway, it can't be done.

I will find a way.

I've got all the time in the world.

You're quite possibly the biggest pain in the ass I have ever had the displeasure of writing about.

[Chuckles] Yes, there is that.

Rumple's a rock star.

Rumplestiltskin.

Always nice to make an impression.

One thing we've seen with Rumplestiltskin is he has touched many stories over the course of his long life.

Has a hand in everything.

[Singsong voice] Do you know what this is?

Pure magic.

Pure evil.

Who is that man?

A very powerful wizard...

The most powerful in all the realms.

It's hard not to fall in love with him.

You know, I'm a fan of yours.

He's just cool.

He's confident.

Well, hello, dearie.

And he's the rebel. Absolutely.

You will dust my collection and launder my clothing, and you will skin the children I hunt for their pelts.

[Cup clatters]

That one was a quip.

It is chipped.

Well, it's just a cup.

Kitsis: Well, we saw Lacey...

What the hell happened to you?

You raid the back of Ruby's closet?

You really are as dark as people say.

Darker, dearie.

So, if that isn't darkness, I don't know what.

Plus, Lacey loves Whitesnake.

What more do you need to know?

You, uh... you like Van Halen?

You're a Hagar man, aren't you?

Clearly, there's darkness inside Belle. Yeah.

But, you know, in seriousness, I'd say all of our characters have good and evil in them.

[Sighs]

What's happening?

It's working.

Any curse can be broken!

It's about recognizing the different parts of yourself, both light and dark, and coming to terms with them.

There aren't a lot of opportunities for women in this land to... to show what they can do, to be heroes.

I always wanted to be brave.

I figured, "Do the brave thing and bravery would follow."

Belle loves Rumplestiltskin.

I-I do... I don't want to lose you.

You already have!

Belle.

Once I-I saw the man behind the beast.

She also is realistic about who he is and what he is.

Now there's only a beast.

She wants to have a life, and she has to figure out what that life is going to be.

Belle: Show me that you can be that man, and we can turn the darkness into light.

Well, that's the thing with dark and light.

Depends on your point of view.

All right, well, I'd never resort to darkness because that's not what a hero does.

Aah!

No, Papa! Papa!

Well, I don't know, to be quite honest.

I can conjure anything you desire.

I want my father.

We know that no matter what horrible things he's done...

All I want is your happiness, Bae.

... one thing that haunts him is leaving his son.

No, no, no, no, no!

Papa!

You coward! You promised!!

Papa! No!

Kitsis: And I think he doesn't want to lose another child ever again.

Bae! Bae!

But now we know there's a baby on the way.

I'm... I'm... I'm pregnant?

We're... we're gonna have a baby.

Kitsis: And I think that is going to add a level of complication to their relationship.

I'm sorry, Belle.

I really don't want to let you down, but there's only one way to save our child.

I have to do things my way now.

I can promise you... there's a bumpy road ahead for those two.

It's time for me to fix this.

Narrator: Your favorite heroes...

You can win.

... and villains...

Take the power.

... return tonight, and the search for happy endings continues.

[Gasps]

Mother!

No!

I sleep well, and I drink your tears.

No. You know, the thing that people always say, "Why is Regina this? Why can't you be happy? You hate her"...

Mother, why have you done this?!

... what I don't think people understand is we are Regina.

Regina represents us.

You need love.

You're gonna help me find another soul mate?

It is possible to find love again.

[Voice breaking] I just never thought I'd have this.

Well, maybe things work out when they're supposed to.

Kitsis: These characters are going through issues and themes because that's what we're going though in our life.

I just want to be happy.

Kitsis: And it's not like we sit down and say, "This year, Evil Queen has to do this."

Mary Margaret: You still fight against the darkness every single day.

Sooner or later, your heart will find its way to happiness.

[Chuckles lightly] That doesn't feel possible.

Kitsis: She is the character that has to fight harder than everyone, that has to work harder than everyone, because that's life.

Regina: There's no redemption for me.

There's only suffering.

Because now I have a curse.

The curse of knowing the difference between good and evil.

And I'm caught between them.

Kitsis: Depends on the day, Adam.

Horowitz: I think it depends on who you ask.

I mean, look at me. I'm wicked.

I think if you ask most people in Storybrooke, she's a villain.

Ding dong.

So, she's really... ?

Oh, yeah.

I think if you ask Zelena, she's a hero.

Out of my way, Munchkin.

I'm a dwarf.

That's even worse.

I can tell you the Lollipop Guild hates her.

They do.

The Munchkins are divided. They're divided.

They're not big fans.

Yeah.

So, I heard someone of the Munchkin persuasion tipped off Dorothy that I was still alive.

Flying monkeys love her.

They do.

She's... she's actually...

She is a benevolent, uh, master.

When you turn someone into a monkey, they tend to follow you.

[Monkey screeches]

Much better.

Dorothy hates her.

Dorothy really does not like her.

Yeah, Dorothy really does not like her at all.

Not a big fan.

No.

Aah! Aah!

What have you done?!

Zelena?

No!

Zelena: The queen may be evil, but I'm wicked, and wicked always wins.

Horowitz: Zelena is now back in Storybrooke.

There's no reason to be scared.

Kitsis: She's trying to find her place, really, I'd say.

Cheers to that, then.

Horowitz: But she's also the Wicked Witch.

Enjoy this moment together, 'cause you don't have many left!

This is not someone who has, like, redeemed themselves and completely gotten the green out of her.

Rumplestiltskin: You're turning green, dearie.

She's still the Wicked Witch.

Envy will do that to you.

How can she be who she really is and be true to herself and be a mother and be a sister and try to be a part of this community?

For Regina.

From one of my papa's arrows.

How sweet.

She'll cherish it.

Regina: You didn't know our mother, Zelena, but I did.

Our own worst enemy isn't her or each other.

It's ourselves.

It makes a big assumption, doesn't it?

It sure does.

Yeah.

Regina and Zelena... they got some issues.

You can't b*at me, little sis.

Everything Rumplestiltskin taught you, he taught me, too.

But I was the better student.

Regina feels bad.

She gave the closure with her mother she always wanted.

Look at you, Regina.

You're stronger than I ever was.

And that's the strength you got from the people you love.

Kitsis: She actually redeemed Cora.

Not from me.

Thank you, Mother.

And I think she realizes, if she can be redeemed, it's up to her to give the benefit of the doubt to other people.

Hades. Go to him.

You trust me?

Maybe you can change him, too.

Thank you, Regina.

So, I think you have Regina really wanting to reach out.

What the hell did I ever do to you?

But at the same time, Zelena's the Wicked Witch of the West, so...

You were born.

... can the wicked be knocked out of her?

Which sister does she want?

Does she want the sister that's the Evil Queen...

Get away from him!

... or does she want the sister that's Regina?

I will get your heart!

I will get everything you ever had!

Kitsis: And that is going to be something that has to be answered...

Not today.

... and answered quickly.

Narrator: A brand-new chapter of "Once Upon a Time" is moments away.

Don't you just love a good twist?

And it all begins in the heart of Storybrooke, Maine.

I want in.

Eddie...

Two burgers, two iced teas, please.

10 bowls of chili... no beans.

You and the dwarves got something against beans?

Well, let's just say we've had our fill over the past couple weeks.

I'm gonna go chicken Parm and white wine.

All righty.

My favorite dish at Granny's goes back back and forth between the chicken tenders and the shepherd's pie.

[Cheers and applause]

What about you?

Pizza at Granny's...

I think there's been pizza.

I don't know if she's got that kind of oven in there.

Back-up generators working, but the fryers are sh*t!

She should talk to the Blind Witch, get that oven.

Do you like gingerbread or children?

Kidding.

But the gingerbread's actually not bad.

Every time I've been on that set, it looks like fake food, so I don't touch it.

Is that magic?

No. It's soda.

Kitsis: Well, then I've been doing something wrong for six seasons.

It's like a carnival in a can!

[Chuckles]

Whoa. Kid, what the hell?

He's the next author.

Kitsis: That's a good question.

It is a good question, but I kind of feel like authors come with illustrative powers.

Henry: I don't even remember writing this.

I just woke up and had it done.

It's... really well-written.

Yes, and the illustrations are lovely.

Maybe if you focus harder...

Oh. So you're all authors now?

Horowitz: When Henry is writing in there or when Isaac was, the pictures were coming.

I want to be the hero instead of the one the heroes rescue.

I'm gonna write the stories as they are.

I feel like that pen gives you some abilities.

Are you a knight?

Better... I'm a writer.

[Chuckles]

Henry? Do not... leave your shoes lying around on the stairs.

Someone could get hurt.

Yeah, Henry's growing up. We're gonna see that.

And he's been neglecting his studies.

Finally, Henry's got to go back to school.

I'll see you in class.

Last year, we saw him have his first romance.

[Giggles]

That's not gonna end there.

Really?

Kitsis: He's becoming a teenager...

Okay. Steady.

Kitsis: ... and we should all really just watch out.

Watch out!

[Tires squeal, horn honks]

Aah!

Oh!

You know what we haven't been asked?

Not one person cared about Dopey, who's been a tree.

We never showed him get out of it.

That's... You know what? Dopey was left a tree.

No one cares about Dopey?

Does nobody care about Dopey?

Oh, the Evil Regals don't care about Dopey.

Nobody cares about Dopey.

But you know who does care about Dopey?

We do.

Yeah, we do.

And you're gonna find out what happens to Dopey.

Yeah, and you're gonna find out whether you like it or not.

No.

Regina: Oh.

Well, that's new.

Getting to spend more time with Eddie.

That's true love.

Emma, you chose me.

That was the test.

This is a season where, once again, we find ourselves needing to return the happiness to characters who have lost hope.

I'm not going up with you.

But you said...

It was the only way I could get you to leave that chamber.

[Voice breaking] I don't know how to say goodbye.

Well, then don't.

And so this is a season where our heroes need to return hope to a lot of people.

[Gasps]

Swan?

Killian?

Horowitz: In addition to that, I think I'm really looking forward to exploring our core characters who we've been on a journey with for over five years now...

Will you marry me?

... and our hope is that, with the Land of Untold Stories, that this will provide the lens through which we can really examine these characters even deeper than we have before.

We have an evil queen who clearly would like to destroy everyone's happy endings.

Find me Snow White.

And once again, the Savior, but now with her family and Regina at her side, are gonna go up against the queen trying to return everyone's happiness.

I want her gone.

Let's get rid of her.

Let's be the family we were always meant to be, all of us.

Because I can promise you that the Evil Queen has not forgiven Snow White for telling that secret.

[Screams]

Look at what you've become.

She is back, and she is just as angry.

[Gasps] Oh!

The Queen is back.
