I'm acting as an advisor on a little project of his.

I have some serious grant money for this centre of mine, which means I need all the horses you can offer, starting with these five right here.

Oh my goodness, it looks like everyone we invited is actually coming to the wedding.

You sound worried.

Just about the numbers.

We started out with just family, but it grew and grew.

What were we thinking, having it at the Dude Ranch?

We'll be jammed in like sardines.

Well, at least if they're jammed in, maybe their body temperature will keep them warm.

I mean, a tent in the winter.

I did my research.

This tent comes with a state of-the-art heating system.

And if doesn't, I will make sure it works because this is the wedding reception Lou wants, and this is the wedding reception she's gonna get.

I'm meeting with the people who are measuring for the tent and figure out how to connect it to the cabins,

Well, you'll find my frozen remains in my trailer.

He can sleep on the couch in the living room, and you can have the loft to yourself.

That's because he's protecting his herd.

He's a challenge all right.

I think we should get him separated from the others.

That way I can work with him one-on-one.

We'll move him into the round pen?

- Yup.

You know, for a city boy, you're pretty at home in the country.

You know, I grew up around here, on a ranch just outside Okotoks.

When did you leave?

Right after high school.

University of Toronto.

Actually, got a master's degree in social work.

Pretty big decision to move back here, huh?

Yeah, I mean...

well, my aunt passed on, she left me this ranch.

I just thought it was time to combine my passions for country living and social work.

You know, helping, helping kids with horses.

You know, my Mom did something similar.

Helping kids have a solid home life, new beginning.

You know, there was this one boy, in particular, that turned out pretty good.

I ended up marrying him.

(EXHALES SOFTLY)

(SIGHS HEAVILY)

Horse therapy has proved to be so successful for kids dealing with a variety of different issues.

That's why we need to keep Cooper's dream alive.

See, unfortunately, when his grants fell through, his donor decided to back out as well.

It's a shame that they didn't have the faith to stand by him.

I was that donor.
