Exactly what happened?

The Kleinsassers happened.

They keep happening.

An animal, and I went to take a look, and I got a little lost.

Maybe it was a wounded animal, like a rabbit or a deer.

The woods are full of all kinds of animals.

Nice ones like the deer and the bunny rabbit, and then there are the animals that need to hunt the nice ones, like mountain lions, bears, and even wolves, and sometimes...

well, I'm sure you're taught this in school...

but they k*ll each other.

But it's not a bad thing.

It's what these animals do because they want to stay alive, and to stay alive, they have to eat the nice animals.

And sometimes, we're lucky enough to find traces of the struggle, like the blood, but it's okay.

That's nature's way of achieving balance.

If it weren't for those predators, we'd be a herd of weak, useless animals, munching on grass, staring at clouds.

We're made better by the knowledge that there are things out there that can k*ll us.
