that keeps resurfacing in Little Havana.

People are calling him "Santo."

Now, Santo... he isn't some
crackpot cherub of justice.

This man is highly skilled.

Recently, he's focused his attention

on the Calle Ocho cartel,

which you guys are all aware
are notorious for robbing

the local businesses in Little Havana.

Two things you should
know about Santo...

he never kills, he never uses a g*n.

His w*apon of choice...

a baton.

the longer Santo is out there,

the more he will inspire
other nutjobs to copy him.

Perhaps, but like it or not,

this son of a bitch is
getting the job done.

who fits Santo's description

last seen outside a
building in the area.

that the same mark

found on all of Santo's
"citizen's arrests"?

from the baton he uses.

His wrists are bound

That's because his M.O. keeps switching.

In a month, Santo has gone

How'd he get hurt? Was it accidental?

That might give us a clue to
what was going on in his head.

We didn't find any evidence of CTE.

We found algae.

Yes... naegleria fowleri.

We found traces in his nasal canal,

but it's probably
from repeated exposure.

And then we also found
another unknown substance

in his nasal passage,

so we're running tests to identify it,

but we think it's unrelated
to the naegleria fowleri.

Wait, I've heard of this algae.

We had it in the water system

in our old high school in Little Havana.

Soon after, they closed the school down.

Well, Dax was following Santo.

Maybe his search led him there.

We need to check out that
high school right now.

Santo could strike again at any moment.

No sign of Dax outside.

Maybe we'll have better

to the prints found in this room,

and we got a hit...
he was definitely here.

All in all, there are sets
of prints in the boiler room.

And we know who they belong to.

- The prints belong to Dax.

Didn't see that coming.

Which means Dax was Santo.

- Rosie, I want news.

That's good, 'cause we got bupkis.

Since Dax was Santo,

we looked into everyone
who wanted Santo k*lled.

All the low-level criminals
he turned in are still in jail.

What about the Calle Ocho cartel?

Dax targeted it for weeks.

They were on surveillance
the night he was k*lled.

They had an
all-hands-on-deck meeting

about how they were
gonna get rid of Santo.

So, in a strange turn of events,

cops provided an alibi for criminals.

Yeah. We live in trying times.

We matched the brand of the baton

to the marks on Dax's skin.

But there was no blood
or DNA on the baton.

Okay. Wow.

So there's another baton out there

in the hands of our k*ller.

Rosie, I asked for good news.

If our k*ller isn't
from Dax's time as Santo,

then maybe we need to look
into other parts of his life.
