12x11 - The Visitors

Post by bunniefuu »

Somebody's living in the walls.

The thing cursed him.

He was physically thrown.

Something giving me nightmares.

- Do you know what they want?
- To take the person.

How often
have you been scratched?

Over 50 times.

Is that what I think it is?

I mean, that's my kid.

God, not again.

God, not again.

Not again. God, no.

I'm here in
the devil's triangle.

My name is amy allan.

I see dead people.

I think he might've
been a stalker.

I speak to dead people.

And they speak to me.

He will k*ll you.
He has k*lled people.

But there's only one way to know
if my findings are real.

They're being possessed.

I rely on my partner.

I'm steve dischiavi.

I'm a retired new york city
homicide detective.

How many people d*ed here
over the years?

And I know every person,
every house, has secrets.

It's my job to reveal them.

But steve and I never speak...

We never communicate
during an investigation.

...Until the very end...

This sketch is like a nightmare.

...When we uncover if it's
safe for you to stay...

I never thought

that the biggest problem was me.

...Or time to get out.

He could, more than likely,

k*ll you.

so I'm out here
in coleraine, minnesota.

It's about an hour
and 1/2 from duluth.

We're here to help
a woman named kari.

Now she's a mom,
just got remarried,

but she says her home
is like a w*r zone.

She told me whatever's there
is picking on

her seven-year-old boy,

and she's worried it's
destroying his childhood.

She sounds like
a real sweet woman.

I'm hoping we can help her out.

Boy.

So one of the main people
that's here is an older man.

He stays very low.

He moves around like a dog.

So then the old guy says that
there's a lot of energy here.

He says that he can move stuff
all the time.

So I'm thinking there might be
pk going on here, too,

that he's able to tap in
and use.

Pk going on makes living crazy.

So, kari, I'm glad I'm
here, even though it's freezing.

You sounded really bad on
the phone, very concerned.

So what the hell's
going on here?

Yeah, I'm very concerned about
my family, particularly my son.

He's the youngest
and seems to be more affected.

So let's start with the basics.

Who all lives in the house now?

- My husband, jason.
- Okay.

- Myself, his daughter, sadie.
- How old is sadie?

Sadie's 17,
and my son kellan, he's 7.

How long have you lived here?

We've lived here
just over six years.

I purchased the home
as a single mother.

Now, did you have experiences,
like, right away?

When my husband
and his daughter moved in,

it increased significantly.

So I know kellan is the one
you're worried about the most.

Tell me why.

You know, my son is scared and
having bad dreams and anxiety.

He doesn't like to sleep
in his bedroom.

He prefers to sleep
in his sister's room often.

I mean, he's seven.

Kids are a little stressed
out these days.

I mean, what makes you think
it's all paranormal?

When he was about two and 1/2,

I was in the kitchen area here,

and behind you
is our laundry room.

- Right.
- And he walked

to the back corner
of the laundry room,

and he was physically thrown
across the room

and cried and was very upset.

It looked like somebody tossed
a doll across the room.

It was terrible.

That's a game changer
right there.

Yeah, it's very stressful.

So what about kellan's dad?

Does he spend time with him?
Does he have experiences there?

Um, so kellan's dad
was a marine.

- Okay.
- And, um,

he unfortunately,
a couple years ago

was the victim of
veteran su1c1de.

I'm sorry to hear that.

It happens way too
often, unfortunately.

Okay.

Do me a favor and give me

a list of what the hell
you guys are experiencing.

We're hearing, um, knocking,

things that move on their own.

We see shadow figures,

and things are starting
to get physical.

How are you holding up?

You know,
I do my best to take care

of the whole household
and the family, um,

but it's very difficult.
- Who's taking care of you?

Yeah, that's
why I called you guys.

Yeah. Okay.

What the ****.

I'm seeing a guy in a top hat
sitting in a tree.

This guy in the tree moves fast.

Thinking that this was
a native american.

So there's another thing
with this guy in the tree,

and it's taller
and they're connected

somehow.

It's seven feet tall,
wearing a black cape.

And then the old man says that

the thing cursed him
where the structure...

The old man, when he was alive,

was being bothered
by the native american.

But I don't understand
why the native american

would be acting
sketchy and creepy.

I don't like the basement.

What's the story?
Why don't you like it?

It's just a...
Unsettling feeling

in my stomach.

- Queasy?
- Queasy, and I want to leave.

Do you have that queasy
feeling now?

Yes, I do.
I -- I would like to

leave the basement.
- Leave. Okay.

- Anything else?
- I...

Get a feeling like I walked
through a wall of spider webs.

So I know the feeling
that you're talking about,

- yeah.
- 'cause everybody's walked

through a spider web, right?
- Yeah.

Do you get that feeling
underneath your clothing

or is it just
where the skin is exposed?

Underneath the clothing,
as well.

- Okay, like a tingling?
- Yeah, but light.

Now, when you go upstairs,
do you ever feel that?

No, I've only felt it in
the basement.

Anything else?

I've heard knocking down here.

All right,
so when you hear this,

what's it kind of sound like?
- Like...

but it's louder.

- What do you think it is?
- I don't know.

Something that doesn't
want anybody down here.

So this is where

the old man

likes to stay.

This is where
he feels the safest.

I don't know why
he's naked either.

He had something wrong
in his mind before he d*ed.

Like I keep getting
lost in his thoughts.

So, you know, there's been
some instances of confusion,

and he likes to move ****around.

So they're probably hearing
a lot of noises,

like somebody's living
in the walls.

He's mistaken this living female

for this other woman he knew
when he was younger.

And so I think this living woman

has felt like
she's been touched.

The living down here would
experience, you know, nausea.

I mean, he drives them crazy.

What's going on in here?

- I have heard growling.
- Explain the growling.

Like a...

like a very, um, distinct growl.

All right, obviously,
question is do you have pets?

We have two dogs.

Have you ever heard either one
of them sound like that?

No. Never.

Is it possible there's something

in the walls here?

I don't believe so.

All right, so anything else?

- I see a shadow figure.
- Okay, so what do you see?

A tall, dark

black to gray figure.

- It goes from floor to ceiling.
- Okay.

So with all this stuff
you got going on

and all the worries you have,

how you sleeping at night?

I get woken up almost
every night between

two o'clock and four o'clock
in the morning.

What do you think's
waking you up?

It's almost like a feeling of
somebody watching me.

What are you hopin'
we can do for you

with this investigation?

I'm really hoping that
you guys can help us

just bring back the peacefulness

of a normal home.

Well, you're not asking
for too much, are ya?

No.

They're here.

Shadow people.

Maybe four at a time.

So the living here
can't move. Yeah.

But like sleep paralysis.

This is a female waking up.

It feels like they're sleep,
but they're not.

And I feel, "god, not again.

"god, not again.

Not again. God, no."

So, sadie, how old are you?

- 17.
- 17, okay.

I was talking to kari,

and she was saying how
worried she is

about the whole family --
you agree with her?

- Yeah.
- Okay.

How about you --
you having experiences?

Yeah.

I was sitting
at the kitchen table,

and my hand started to hurt,
- okay.

And I looked down on it,
and there was a really

long scratch.

And it's kind of, like, a welt.

Ooh.

- Anything else?
- I was sitting on the couch,

and I watched a picture fly
off the shelf by itself.

Did it look like it fell,
or did it look like

somebody might have flung it?

It looked like someone
might have flung it.

I mean, that would have
scared the hell out of me.

So as far as you living here,
do you --

do you feel safe here?

Or do you think
this is dangerous?

- I feel like it wants us out.
- Yeah, okay.

Okay.

This is, bad.

I'm getting much depression.

Fear,

grief, depression.

Very confused.

This might be some of
the pk **** here.

Do you know where
this pk is coming from?

The person who's in this room.

Do you know why?

They're in a lot of
emotional turmoil.

So kellan, I was talkin'
to mom, and she said

you're having a tough time
in the house.

Is that right?
Do you like living here?

- No?
- Every time I walk in here,

I have, like...

This feeling where I think
of scary stuff.

That's why I sleep
in sadie's room.

Don't want to be here,

and something

in here, like,
giving me nightmares.

Do you remember any of them?

- Um, my whole family d*ed.
- Okay.

That's a scary dream?

Anything else?

The shadows.

- You see shadows?
- Yeah.

Okay, where do you see them?

I saw one in the laundry room,

probably the size of you.

Have you seen them again?

Yeah, and I saw the --

I saw a tall one
in sadie's room.

Well, let me ask you a question.

If we could fix what's going
on here and no more bad things

would happen,
would you want to stay?

Okay, good.
All right.

Give me a high five.
Okay.

Possibly they've seen
the tall, tall one,

the guy who was with
the native american outside.

Is it in here?
- Yeah.

What is the tall one doing?

Just standing there, staring.

There's a feeling here like --
like, you know,

obviously wanting it to stop,

but this is like -- like,
the old man's one thing.

This is something else.

talking to your wife before

and some of the family,

and it just seems like
this place has got its issues.

Yes, that it does.

So I spoke with sadie,
and she showed me a scratch

that she had on her hand,
and she's a little rattled.

You feel any guilt about
moving her in here

with you guys?
- You know, I do feel

a little bad, 'cause she didn't
ask for that.

She didn't ask
for the extra drama.

Any experiences
you could talk about?

I do get scratched.

Those are the scratches
that I had had.

How often have you
been scratched?

Over 50 times.

Wow.

So, listen,
you've been scratched.

Kari told me about knocking
on the walls and growling.

You sure there's not
a rodent problem

in the house,
in the wall somewhere?

You had it checked
for anything like that?

No, we haven't.

Okay, all right,
so anything else?

You know, I do see shadow
figures in the house.

A lot of other people
that I've talked to today

told me the same thing --
now, what are you seeing?

I see something walk
through the kitchen

almost constantly.

- How tall is it?
- It goes from

the floor to the ceiling.

I feel it's safe to say
whatever's here

doesn't want us here.

I'm seeing this...

Supposed native american man

and that thing
coming in the window.

You say supposed --
why -- why are you saying that?

I don't think it's really
a native american.

What do you think... They are?

I think that they're alien.

Can these things change
the way people perceive them?

- Yeah.
- And do you know what they want?

To take the person.

Have they been successful
in doing that?

Yes.

How do you think this person
might be affected by that?

They feel like
they're being touched,

but then I don't know how much

they're remembering
of the whole thing.

These aren't shadow people
in here, either.

- So these aren't shadow people.
- No.

- That's just what she's seeing.
- Yes.

- And they're aliens.
- Yes.

I think that they're being
abducted by aliens.

Are they in danger?

Yes, they get abducted

and, like have, like,

ptsd and flashbacks,
traumatizing nightmares

about

being, like, dissected.

I mean, I don't...

I think that usually
the abductions go very well

for people.

Look, kari and jason
tell me they hear

knocking in the walls
and growling sounds.

Sounds to me like some kind of
wildlife problem.

Now, what that would be in
the friggin' frozen tundra

out here, I got no clue,

but I'm heading
back to the house to meet

with a wildlife control expert
who's gonna give the place

a once-over for me.

Hey, mike,
thanks for meeting with me.

- I appreciate it.
- Yeah, good to meet you, steve.

So, mike, this why I called you.

The people that live here are
having some strange things

happening, and some of it
is they're hearing growling,

knocks in the walls,
and they're gettin' scratched.

Yeah, the scratching
is a bit unusual,

but the growling
and the knocking noise,

could possibly be a squirrel.

We have a couple different
types of squirrels,

northern flying squirrels,
gray squirrels.

Really? Okay,
so they're indigenous

to this area and could possibly
be in the house.

Yeah, on an older house
like this,

it's very much a possibility.

Okay -- do me a favor --
if you give the house

good check for me,

let me know if you find
any evidence of that?

All right, let's go ahead
and take a look.

Okay. Thanks.

I have no clue what amy's
gonna find during her walk,

but it's my job to rule out
the obvious first.

We're in minnesota
in the dead of winter.

So if there's wildlife
sneaking into the house

looking for food,

it could explain what kari and
her family are going through.

If that's the case,
we'll bring in an exterminator,

problem solved.

- How'd it go?
- It went well.

- Anything?
- Yeah, I found some spots,

a couple of places
where squirrels

have made entry through
some soffit material.

Okay, so there's evidence
that they were

in the house at some point.
- Yeah, absolutely.

We found an acorn upstairs,
flying squirrels kinda

chew acorns
a little bit uniquely,

and we can see where
they definitely have came

into the house.

Okay, so could that explain

the knocking noises they're
hearing in the basement?

- Yep. Absolutely.
- What about the growling?

Yeah, flying squirrels can be
pretty aggressive

towards each other,

so they'll be fighting up there.

All right,
what about the scratches?

I don't think it would really
explain the scratches.

So I always say that not
everything's paranormal,

but what you found
explained some of it,

but not everything.
- Yes.

Let's get the hell out of here.
Cold.

The old man likes
to be up in here.

He likes to be up in here.

Makes a lot of noise.

You can hear footsteps and ****,

like, regular footstep
and stuff.

it sounds like somebody's
living in the walls.

And then it's like,
is there a **** raccoon

in the wall, like,
you know what I mean?

Like, that's how loud it is,
that's what it sounds like.

So I just got a call
from a local historian.

Now, she told me
she's got something

that might help me out.

Turns out a family
called the rileys

used to live in kari
and jason's house.

She says they end up
having a famous son,

but the rest of their time in
that land was filled with

heartbreak and tragedy.

So, lilah, I appreciate you
coming out and helping me out

with this case -- all right,

so this family that lived on
my clients' property,

what can you tell me about them?

- The john riley family.
- Okay.

Started a family and had six
kids and then moved to

coleraine, minnesota, in 1906.

They get to coleraine in 1906
--is that when

they buy my clients' property?

Nope, it was eight years later,
in 1914,

- okay.
And I have the deed right here.

Okay.

So what else can you tell me
about john?

He was an engineer who worked
for one of the local mines.

You mentioned out of

the six kids that
you told me he has,

one of them was pretty famous.

Well, when they came
to coleraine,

and everybody tried to ski --

well, barney just had
a talent for skiing.

He actually got a nickname
from everybody.

They called him the irishman
or the wild irish rose.

Okay, so he was popular
in the neighborhood?

He's actually
popular nationwide.

He won the national amateur
championship for skiing.

So lilah, you mentioned
tragedy, but right up till now,

it sounds pretty good --
what happened?

- His luck changed in 1935.
- Okay.

Tragically, barney's mother
fell ill and suffered

for three days
and d*ed of septicemia.

Okay, what exactly is that?

It's an infection of the liver.

I have a death certificate
here for you.

So his mom dies.

I mean, that's tragic,
but these things happen, right?

Then just a year later,
barney's father, john,

had full-blown dementia.

Then he got kidney disease
and d*ed on March 3, 1936.

He actually d*ed
in your clients' home.

All right, so now I know
there's six kids,

but does barney get the property
after the parents die?

No, the oldest son,
john jr., does.

- Okay.
- And in 1938,

he passes away.

He d*ed of cancer
in the stomach.

He's 51 years old,
so he's a young guy.

All right, so now
his brother's dead.

Who gets the property
at this point?

- Barney inherits it.
- Okay, so what happens?

Well, within a year,
barney got in his car

and was backing out of
the driveway

- okay.
And had a heart att*ck and d*ed.

Here's his death certificate.

- 48? What a young guy.
- Young.

I mean, this guy
was an athlete, too.

All right, so if I got
my math right,

that's four deaths
in four years.

- Four years.
- That's a shame.

This old man
won't stop following me.

He was saying,
that he was a former owner,

says he lived and d*ed here.

Then he got confused
on if he was dead.

So then I'm thinking maybe
he had, like, dementia

or something.

So he might be
in his late seventies.

I don't think,
he's from that long ago.

I wouldn't put him earlier
than, like,

maybe in the 1940s?

Definitely, like,
some illness here with him,

like, his stomach.

There was something with his
business, got dirt digging and,

like, maybe mining of some
kind or something

along them lines.

He gets lost a lot, like, in
his, memories and ****.

My guess is that something
happened to

some of his kids or his wife.

It's bad.

So far, I've got a family

being physically assaulted
by god knows what

in a house where family got
wiped out in just four years.

But I want to see
if there's anything else.

Searching through old records,

I come across the famous
pillsbury company.

Turns out, the founder once
owned kari and jason's property.

So I'm off to meet a local
genealogist who says, yes,

kari and jason's property
really was owned by the guy

who started
the pillsbury empire.

But she told me the guy's
charmed life came to an end

the second he tried
the sell the land.

So it's good
to see you again, carrie.

Thanks for helping me out
with this case.

On the phone, you mentioned that

one of the original owners
of my clients' property

was this pillsbury guy?
- Yes, john sargent pillsbury.

He started off
in the printing industry,

and after a short time,

he kind of decided
it wasn't really for him,

and he went to work
with his brother, george,

at his brother's hardware store.

All right, so obviously
this guy was an entrepreneur.

Did the store that him
and his brother were at

turn into the pillsbury company?

It did not.

He stayed working with
his brother for a short while,

but then eventually,

he decides he wants to make
a way for himself.

In 1855, he moves out

to the minneapolis area
with his new wife, mahala.

- Okay.
- And he opens up

a hardware store.
- The hardware store --

how did it go for him with that?

It went very well.

He was an ambitious entrepreneur

and really built up his store,

allowing him to have
a warehouse,

where he stored
a lot of his goods.

Unfortunately, in roughly
1857, he had a fire.

And in that fire,
he lost all the merchandise

in his warehouse.
- Jeez.

So the cost of that
ran him about

$36,000, which today

would be probably
about $340,000.

All right, so he lost
a big piece of change.

He absolutely did --
wiped him out

for roughly about five years.

Okay, so when does he start

the company we all know
and love?

John actually got together

with his nephew, charles,
- okay.

And started
the pillsbury company.

They did very, very well,

and he used some of that
wealth to actually

invest in the railroads
here in minnesota, as well.

But that wasn't
his only venture.

He actually went into politics

and ran for governor
of the state

and won in 1875.
- He's a pretty ambitious guy.

So when did he wind up
acquiring my clients' property?

In late 1887,

he actually purchased
the property.

- Did he live on the land?
- He didn't.

Most people that were buying
property in that timeframe

were buying because they were
speculating for coal

in the area.
- You had mentioned on the phone

that things went to hell for him

when, he tried
selling the property.

Yes, that's true.

In August 1901, he tried
to sell the property.

- Okay.
- And just weeks later,

he ended up finding out
that he had kidney disease.

He developed whooping cough,

and on October 18th of 1901,

he had a ruptured brain vessel,

which, ultimately,
he passed away.

Says here he was 74.

You know, I don't know if
it's coincidence

or what the hell the story is,

but, he tries to sell
my clients' property, then boom.

The old man...

So he feels like,
yeah, it's bad here.

He's saying that other people
come in,

you know, and then
they're all **** up.

He doesn't know why things
are so bad here.

He doesn't understand
it's the aliens.

Here's the thing
is that these people

who -- who were affected,

I think that they're all men.

You know, he's talking
about them owning businesses

or trying to own
business or something.

And, um, and that --
and that -- it's not good.

I saw a lot of disturbing
things on my walk,

but what had me most concerned
are the aliens

that are abducting a living
woman in the master bedroom.

There are four beings

around the bed.

They look like aliens,
like gray aliens

with the big eyes
and the big head.

They all had, like,
a beam of light on them.

They have five fingers.

They did not have
any noses or mouths.

No noses or mouths. Okay.

- Long necks.
- Long necks, okay.

Their arms were
very thin and long.

amy,

is this what you saw?

Yes, that's what I saw.

Now that amy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

So, amy, I want you to meet
kari and jason.

Now, these guys got married
a couple of years ago

and have a blended family
with five kids.

But, as of now, only two of
them are living at home here.

This is sadie, who's 17.

This is kellan, who's 7.

Kellan is the main reason
we're here.

Kari thinks he's getting
the worst of it,

and she doesn't think
it's safe for him to be here.

How long you guys lived here?

I've lived in the home
for a little over six years.

Things seemed to pick up
once jason moved in

- with sadie.
- Interesting.

So the first thing
I want to discuss

is going upstairs,

taking a right going
into that room

where it's just the bed.

I felt that the person

who was residing in that room

was suffering from
a pretty extreme bout

of depression,

and this depression
was centered around

a feeling of loss and grief
and confusion.

And due to all of these

intense emotions that this
person is experiencing,

they were triggering
the ability that they have,

which is psychokinesis, or pk.

What can happen
as a result of this

is that sometimes
objects will move.

All right,
so you're in sadie's room.

- All right.
- Okay.

And when I talked to sadie,

she had a lot of experiences
with things moving.

Okay.

But there's something you
should know, though, kellan,

when he's not feeling safe,

he goes into her room
and stays with her.

Well, that explains
the masculine energy,

because I thought it was male.
- As far as depression

and strong emotions,
I know he's only seven,

but you mind telling her about
his biological father?

Yeah, about three years ago,
his biological father,

who was in the marines,

he unfortunately,
did commit su1c1de.

Since then, he's very sensitive

and in tune to
people's emotions.

He is an empath,

and he cares about other people.

Very interesting.

There's an incident
that happened with him

when he was, what, two and 1/2?

- Yeah.
- In the laundry room

you should know about --
tell her what happened.

He was thrown across the room
towards the washing machine.

So I don't know if it
has anything to do

with pk when it comes to sadie,

but she's --
she's been scratched.

That could be.

So jason gets these
scratches constantly.

He's had over 50 of them,
right? 50 incidents?

Yeah, I've had them.
I've had them for --

- for a long, long time.
- A long time.

That could be pk, then.

So pk --
do you think it's sadie?

Or do you think it's kellan?

It's rare for a young child
to exhibit pk,

but I think it's
probably kellan.

Okay, so what else?

I'm going to discuss,

one of the dead people
that I encountered.

It's an elderly male.

He made me uncomfortable.

His safe space is the basement.

- I hate the basement.
- Yeah.

He stated this and also
showed it to me --

him trying to gain
the attention of a female here,

and he was doing this
by touching or tapping her,

like trying to get
her attention.

So when I've been
in the basement,

I've had the sensation of, like,

spider web feeling on my skin,

like touching me.
- Okay, yeah.

He's able to make objects move.

He also is able
to manipulate sound

very easily to create sounds

as though he's kind of
living in the house.

Tell her about
the knocking noises

you're hearing down there.

I do hear behind me, like...

And I'll turn around.

I'm usually home alone,

and there's no one there.

Now, she also mentioned
to me that she hears

growling up in the bedrooms.
- Your bedroom?

Yeah, so I'm thinking
maybe it was some

wildlife in the walls here,

so I brought in a local
pest control expert.

He told me that the knocking
and growling can come

from the flying squirrels that
are pretty common around here.

Now, he gave the place
a complete once-over,

and he saw evidence that
they could have been here.

So maybe it's the old man
making these noises,

or maybe it's
these flying squirrels.

Wow.

Did you get anything on this
old man when he was alive?

This is what I was able
to get from him.

A former owner,
lived and d*ed here,

more than likely
in his seventies.

I'd put him in or around
the forties, possibly earlier.

A lot of his focus was
concerning entrepreneurs

and people starting businesses
in this house or this location.

He said that this place
is not good for them.

He also was talking
about his business.

What I kept seeing were images
of him, handling dirt,

some, like, maybe a miner.

The problem with him is I think

that he had some kind
of dementia.

A lot of what you said
made me think of

an irish immigrant who moved
into this house in 1914.

Now, his name was john riley,

and him and his wife,
lucy, had six kids.

So you mentioned mining,
and john was an engineer

for one of the local mines here.

One of their sons was actually
pretty famous in this area --

I mean, really famous.

His name was barney riley.

He was a nationally known
ski jump champion,

but the family suffered
a lot of tragedy.

Barney d*ed suddenly at 47.

Another son d*ed
at the age of 51.

And then in 1936,
john, just like you said,

had dementia, and he d*ed
at the age of 94.

Is it possible it could be
the guy, john?

Yes.
All right.

So now we know john riley.

- Feel bad for the guy.
- Me, too.

But, I mean, potentially
he's causing problems.

So, this guy john was very
focused on a tree outside.

The one right out next
closest to the road?

Yeah, and what he was
showing me by the trees

was what he believed,

to be a native american male
with a top hat.

And then the old man,
john, showed me that there was

another thing that was standing
beside the native american,

and this thing
was seven feet tall.

Both of these
come inside the house.

In sadie's room,

I saw the tall one
standing in the corner

and just staring at the person
that was in that room.

I mean, kellan's seen it.

Kellan has seen,
in sadie's room,

a tall, thin figure.

In sadie's room,

you know,
she's almost 18 years old,

and she keeps her light on
all night, because she said,

you know, she feels like
there's somebody watching her.

In her room.
- We all see...

A tall, floor-to-ceiling

black shadow.

Very interesting -- so I make it
into the master bedroom,

and I was seeing things
through the eyes

of a living woman,
and I'm seeing

many shadow people
in the room at the end of bed,

at least four.

And I'm like...
Having sleep paralysis.

I can't move.

Feels like they're asleep,
but they're not.

And I feel,

"god, not again.

God, not again.
Not again, god."

I do wake up,
pretty much every night.

Sometimes I do have
the paralysis, but then

sometimes I just
look around and, yeah,

there are, like, shadow people.

But then I tell myself,
that's not what I'm seeing.

And where do you sleep?

I know I prefer
to sleep near a window.

Very interesting --
I am blown away,

because I had you guys swapped,
and I think I know

what's going on -- okay.

Damn it --
so the native american guy

and the seven-foot-tall
thing that

was shown to me by the old man,
the shadow figures

in the master bedroom --

that's not what those things
actually were.

So I had a sketch done of what
those things actually are.

What in the **** is this?

Is that what I think it is?

Wow... Are those...

...Aliens?

Really?

Man, my brain is
fried right now.

- Yeah.
- Me, too.

So what's going on with them?

One of the things, that
they do or that they can do

is manipulate perception
or perceptual experiences,

which is why you're probably
processing them

as, shadow beings.

So I thought you had
not been abducted.

But it's you who has not
been abducted.

And it's you who has been.

For some odd reason,

I don't feel surprised.

You almost have a look of
relief on your face,

like now I know what
the hell's going on.

I mean, I guess it's better to
know what's happening than

just to not know
what's happening.

So the activity picking up
when he came into the house

- kind of makes sense.
- Yeah.

And I believe one other person
has been abducted,

and this can cause
anxiety disorders,

flashbacks, nightmares,
night terrors --

lot of issues.
- Who was the other person?

I'm wondering if it's kellan.

So when they abduct him,

is he physically gone or just...
- Yes.

- He's physically gone.
- Yes.

And they take him to their ship?

- I don't know.
- Okay.

Yeah, yeah, it really --
it really scares me that, um...

You know, this little guy,
he's got so much going on,

and... He --

he doesn't like to go to bed.

Well, obviously
there's a good reason why.

Yeah, my head hurts.

so I don't know who has more
of a shocked look

on their face, me or you guys.

This case is unusual,
to say the least,

but we still have to answer
the big question.

Can you stay here and fight,

or do you need to pack up
and get the hell out of here?

For that answer, I'm gonna
turn it over to amy.

Here's the thing --

I think that you've had...

Experiences with them,
the aliens, your whole life.

Even if you were
to move or relocate,

it doesn't matter, like,
you're gonna --

you're going to continue
to have experiences.

And more than likely,

your son will, too,

because there's
an interest there.

Can they protect
themselves from that,

or is that something that
there's nothing you can do

about it?
- My suggestion

is researching online
abducted groups.

What is that,
like a support group?

Yeah, basically a support group,
they all basically exchange

different techniques that
have worked for them,

ways of handling things,
the situations.

I see you shaking your head --
what's up?

I mean, are we just gonna --

am I just gonna wake up one
day and he's gone

and I never see --

- I mean, is that...
- That's highly unlikely.

Okay -- what are they --
what are they doing?

Isn't that
the ultimate question?

Now...

What about the old guy,
john riley?

So I have a medium

I would like to come
and assist you,

and the good thing is
is that she actually worked

with elderly patients
and things like that.

So I'm hoping she'll really
be able to handle john

and his situation
and successfully move him on.

So...

Unfortunately, this is one of
those investigations

that's very rare.

You can't do anything about
your alien problem,

but you will be able
to move the old guy on.

- Yeah.
- And it's something

you're gonna have to live with,
I mean,

how do you feel about that?

Well, I guess I feel like I've
already been living with it.

I'll do anything
I can to protect my son.

That's number one
for me out of this.

My hope is jason joins
a support group

so he will be able to protect
himself and kellan

from the aliens.

If the family also brings in
a medium to move on the old man,

they might finally
find the peace

they have been looking for.
