A thousand years after the Breaking,

battles still raged against
the forces of the Dark One.

With the towers of
Manetheren to their backs,

King Aemon and his army
defended their people.

Battling through
unrelenting days and nights,

they held their city against
trollocs, darkfriends and dreadlords,

until they could no longer
hold the river from crossing.

Behind the honor of
the Red Eagle banner,

retreat found no place amongst them.

And the sword that
could not be broken...

was shattered.

From behind the walls
of the emptied city,

Queen Eldrene sank with
King Aemon's death.

And so her heart and
kingdom found their end.

And today, in the Two Rivers,
where Manetheren once stood,

the Wheel continues to turn.
