[Joey] Previously on Escape the Night.

We recover the artifacts, but the

ritual to bind the evil fails.

[OLI] Have we done it? [JOEY] Did we do it?

and we discover we must free the

former owners of the house to escape.

[PRIEST] When they are released, the demon will banish.

We locate a former owner and are forced

to enter a deadly b*ttlefield

to find his lost gold.

Eva and Tim play a w*r game

that ends with Tim taking his own life.

We still don't know who among us

is working with the evil.

(eerie music)

Now then,

what do you see?

A house built by evil

devouring them-

(screaming)

(heavy breathing)

What about this one?

It's a monument

of cursed mass,

and the one in the center

is a human butcher, wait please-

Please stop, I'm telling you the truth.

It's what I see.

But it is not what is real;

you're hallucinating.

When you came in here,

you thought you saw

a man being eaten by a demon,

so you pushed him into oncoming traffic.

You weren't there.

And then there were four of us.

Guys, the light is coming in.

It's almost morning, you know what that means.

It means we're all going to die.

We need to work fast here and we just need to get this

over and done with, okay?

Right now, it's down to four

and I'm liking the group.

I'm gonna be really sad if someone else dies.

Hopefully, no one else has to die.

I feel like moving forward, it's

time for us to work together, as one.

We need to look at this book and figure out

what we need to do.

[JOEY] Who is it?

He would stare endlessly at light bulbs.

I never knew what he saw, but it seemed like he was trying to

Vincent tried to burn holes in his eyes.

He sounds like a psycho.

[OLI] We need to find something.

[OLI] There's four numbers and this box.

[JOEY] Look, look, there's colors;

there's black, gray, green, and yellow.

I don't know what that means, but-

We're not sure what to do, but then I

realized that he loves light bulbs,

so I'm thinking, like, "Okay, I know

there's a light bulb hidden somewhere

Maybe that's what we need to find."

[JOEY] What?

Well, this light bulb isn't on and I swear this was always on.

There are a couple of light bulbs that

I realized that aren't on.

I unscrew the light bulb.

[OLI] Oh yes. Yellow.

[LELE] Okay, so we should find more of those.

[OLI] Yeah. We need to find more light bulbs. Whose got number 1?

[OLI] Try that, try that, try that.

[OLI] Um.

[LELE] I got the black one and it says 5.

[JOEY] Oh, there's one over here too! Yeah!

[OLI] Oh, well done.

[JOEY] It's the blue.

So we start unscrewing light bulbs

and seeing that the light bulbs

actually have numbers and

colors attached to them.

[OLI] No, one more, one more, one more.

[OLI] Um-

[EVA] This?

[LELE] Yes!

[OLI] You got it?

[EVA] Black?

[JOEY] Yes, we've got it!

[LELE] I have the black one. [JOEY] Sighs.

[EVA] Wait, but then...

[OLI] What number is it?

[LELE] I have gray, never mind.

[JOEY] It's 1.

[OLI] 1.

[LELE] So black is 1.

All the numbers from these light bulbs open this lock,

and we have to put them in order

of color to be able to unlock it.

[JOEY] Gray is 5-

[OLI] Blue is 2.

And yellow is 1.

[JOEY] And then-

[EVERYONE] Oh!

[JOEY] Yes! Stupid locks, okay.

[JOEY] A key.

[LELE] Okay.

[EVA] Second floor.

[JOEY] Second floor, let's go.

[OLI] Second floor.

We go upstairs to try and find Vincent.

I have no idea what to expect.

I'm thinking, okay, we're about to find

some, like, insane asylum crazy person.

But then I'm also thinking, like,

maybe could be hot,

'cause Collin was hot.

[OLI] Is it unlocked?

[EVA] Oh my gosh.

[JOEY] No one's in here.

[LELE] Alright guys, sorry.

[JOEY] Vincent?

[OLI] Vincent?

So we walk into the room

and we find Vincent,

who is in a straight jacket.

Yeah, he's, he's definitely not not Collin.

[JOEY] I know you've probably been in a straight jacket, but-

[LELE] We're not here to hurt you or put you in an asylum.

There are three keys

that are needed to unlock this jacket,

but you're gonna have to dive

inside my hallucinations to find them.

So, in order to free Vincent,

we have to unlock the three locks

of his straight jacket

and to do that

we need to go into his hallucinations.

If you go to the landing, there's an ink blot card.

[JOEY] Okay.

It's gonna show you to my most vivid hallucination.

What dr*gs are we going to have to do

to get into this guys hallucinations?

'Cause he seems crazy.

I'm getting a vision

and you don't want to be here for much longer.

On the back side of the ink blot card is a map

of where the hallucinations are.

So the first one is at the greenhouse.

[JOEY] Let's go.

[OLI] Oh my God!

[JOEY] You know, as much as I want us all to get through this,

I feel like one of us still could be with the evil.

[LELE] Oh yeah.

I know what goes down in the greenhouse.

There are loads and loads of plants all over the place.

[EVA] Yeah, that's a plant.

[JOEY] Oh, this is just, like, explaining the different plants.

(growling)

[EVA] I know what Aloe Vera is.

[JOEY] Look for a clue.

[LELE] I am.

[JOEY] Holy crap, there's a freaking skull!

All of a sudden, this, like, infected human busts his hands

through the greenhouse. I am freaking out.

(zombie screaming)

and flesh to create an entirely new

species, a swamp man. I made a mistake

with my first subject in creating

an abomination, which I must soon destroy

before it destroys me. I devised a new

method for burying the flesh so it merges

with the root system of the plants."

We're going to have to dig through all

these plants to find body parts, and then

we have to bury them in, like, the compost that's

on the side of the greenhouse.

[JOEY] We need Romulus. Where's,

Romulus is over here. Okay.

[EVA] There's something in there.

[JOEY] We have one of 'em.

(screaming) [LELE] A hand!

[JOEY] What?

[OLI] You got a hand?

[EVA] Yeah.

[OLI] Okay, we've got the head.

[JOEY] Let's put all the pieces together.

Searching through the plants trying to

find the body parts is so disgusting.

Like, having to touch them

and, like, digging in the dirt.

It's just overall a mess.

[JOEY] I need a shovel.

[JOEY] My hands are dirty. Is there any more shovels over-

[OLI] We found a hand!

[OLI] We found another hand. Put a hand there.

[EVA] Joey, what's next?

[OLI] So, we've got 3.

We're essentially stuck in the greenhouse at this point.

Even if we do find the key, like,

So finally, we find all the body parts and

we start burying it in the compost heap.

[OLI] Right, we've done it.

[JOEY] What's happening?

[JOEY] We need to go to the second location.

The second hallucination.

[LELE] Okay, the second- wait a second, where's the map?

[OLI] I left the map! Oh my god!

I realized we'd forgotten the flipping map

that is going to lead us to the next hallucination.

[OLI] I've got-

I've got the map!

[JOEY] Oli, are you okay?

[LELE] Yo, Oli.

[OLI] I've got it!

[JOEY] Are you alright?

[OLI] Yes. Let's go!

I get back up - we just got to go, like

there's no stopping. You can't be injured

right now. You've got to carry on.

[JOEY] That was insane guys. That was so good.

[EVA] Guys if we work together, I think

we could make it all out alive.

[OLI] Wait, wait, wait, wait.

[JOEY] Whoa.

[LELE] Is that Cleopatra?

(scary music)

We head over to the back of the estate and

in front of us, we can see these massive

boulders with loads of masks on and in

the middle is this women with a spiky

mask on with a samurai sword.

[JOEY] "The face is really the mask and the

mask is really the person. Unravel the five

identities hidden behind the masks. One

will lead to the next and the order must

be perfect. If an incorrect mask is taken

from the wall, she will come for blood."

So each time we find a mask, there's a clue

to the next mask that leads us to the next

mask. If we pick up the wrong mask,

there's a chance that she might k*ll us.

[JOEY] "To protect yourself from her deadly

blade, you must be wearing a burlap sack."

[OLI] This?

[JOEY] Yes. Everyone grab one.

[OLI] This bloody thing?

So these sacks ended up being a shield that

if we got it wrong, we could put the sack

on and it would count as a life.

[JOEY] Begin with the demon who is dreaming.

What kind of sick game is this? Who

thinks of this? Who hallucinates this?

[JOEY] Oh gosh. This looks like a demon,

but I don't know if he's sleeping

or dreaming.

The first clue we have is the demon that is

dreaming and these masks are so similar,

I can't tell them apart.

[EVA] Alright, when I think of

dreams, I think of a lot of colors.

[JOEY] Let's just try. We have to try something.

[EVA] Do you think maybe this one's a moon?

The whole time we're looking, I just

have my eyes set on this one that looks

like the moon emoji. I'm just like guys,

this is it, this is it, this is it.

[LELE] How do you know its dreaming, guys?

[LELE] That's not a demon, that looks like a really nice person.

[JOEY] Or that one. I think it could be that one actually.

[LELE] Really? You do?

[EVA] My guess is the moon one.

[LELE] I, I guess this one.

[JOEY] Okay fine. I'm going to do it.

I picked the wrong mask. One more mistake

and I'm gone from this hallucination.

That's like a faceless mask, what the hell?

All of the masks have eyes

and every mask looked like it had a mouth.

The only one without any of that is the samurai's mask.

[JOEY] I think you're right Eva.

I think that might be the last mask.

Let's do it.

[JOEY] No.

(suspenseful music)

[JOEY] Oh sh*t!

[EVA] Oh god.

[LELE] Yeah.

"The final hallucination is buried in

the darkest part of Vincent's psyche.

Unlike the others, the consequence

for failure now is pain and death.

Two of you must be selected by vote

to sit in the chairs of a mad man.

Then those two must select a partner

of the opposite gender to aid them.

You will find the hallucination waiting for you in the basement."

I don't want to choose anyone.

You know what, for me, I don't have anything against you guys

so I'm just going to vote for myself.

We've gone this far and I've hated on a lot of people.

You know, it's about time that we just stick together.

What if we all put our own name in and we just let-

[LELE] Let the house vote.

[JOEY] Yeah.

[OLI] Yeah. [EVA] I like that.

We all end up putting our own names

into the hat to make it fair.

[LELE] Whoever is picked is the one

that's gonna go downstairs

but at least we know that we're not gonna be guilty

about whatever happens.

(suspenseful music)

Now I have to choose an opposite-

Obviously I choose Joey.

[JOEY] Well,

My partner's Joey, so I'm like, "Oh."

Well guys, I'm just gonna say whatever happens,

you know, you've been good.

I am so scared right now.

I'm gonna be in a chair of a madmen.

[EVA] What's down here?

(suspenseful music)

[EVA] We walk into the basement and there

are these electric chairs.

Of course.

[LELE] Oh look.

[JOEY] What does it say?

[EVA] "My name is Dr. Price and I

have developed a unique treatment

for overcoming hallucinations.

Each voted for guest needs to take a

seat in their respective learning chair.

Their partner must then lock them into

the chair by securing the straps.

Located across from the learning chairs

are crates containing metal rings.

Each of you must stand across from your partner,

behind the chalk mark on the floor

and toss the rings into the five electrical rods.

Missed rings will give their partner a little shock.

The first guest to have three rings

around any of the electrical rods

will complete the circuit and cure

their partner's hallucinations.

However, the guest who failed to learn

will suffer a severe shock which will end their life."

Essentially this a twisted, demented game of ring toss.

[EVA] "You both have thirty minutes before

the chairs short circuit on their own,

k*lling both guests.

The timer will now start."

[LELE] (screams)

[OLI] You got this.

(screams)

I'm getting shocked every time Eva misses these metal rods.

And it hurts so much.

[OLI] You got this. Come on, you can do this.

(screaming)

[OLI] That's right.

[JOEY] Oh my God, how do I do this?

(screaming)

[LELE] I'm screaming to death.

I'm in so much pain, because it's real

like really electrifying.

going so fast before the time runs out,

it's exhausting.

My hallucinations are gone.

I don't envy the road that lies ahead of you,

the owner of this house is a monster!

The hallucinations!

I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen.

"One among you in league with the evil of the house."

(suspenseful music)

[JOEY] Vincent is the one who warned us

that one of us is in league with evil,

and that person is Arthur.

[VINCENT] If I were you, I'd run.

[OLI] Run! Run!

[OLI] Go! Go! Go!
