He's a nightmare.

He's gonna k*ll everybody.

He's losing his damn mind!

You're shakin'.
'cause I'm scared.

I wished she was dead.

And, next thing I know,

I get a phone call

saying that she was gone.

No. No, no, no, no, no.

She d*ed brutally.

Someone had a throat slashed.

Somebody had an ear cut off.

She's trying to possess him.

My worst nightmares
have come to life.

she could cause
instantaneous death.

I'm hearing a devil's triangle.

My name is amy allan.

I see dead people.

I think he might've
been a stalker.

I speak to dead people.

And they speak to me.

He will k*ll you.
He has k*lled people.

But there's only one way to know
if my findings are real.

They're being possessed.

I rely on my partner.

I'm steve dischiavi.

I'm a retired new york city
homicide detective.

How many people d*ed here
over the years?

And I know every person,
every house, has secrets.

It's my job to reveal them.

But steve and I never speak...

We never communicate
during an investigation.

Until the very end...

This sketch is like a nightmare.

When we uncover if it's
safe for you to stay...

I never thought

that the biggest problem was me.

Or time to get out.

He could, more than likely,

k*ll you.

so, I'm back out here

in elizabeth city,
north carolina.

It's about an hour south
of virginia beach.

Got a call from a woman
named christine.

She says that,
ever since she got sober,

something in her house
has been attacking her

and her elderly mom

and she's convinced,
if amy and I can't fix it,

someone's gonna wind up dead.

I see something moving.

It's a black shadow figure.

It came and it went up the wall,
so it's still on the wall

and then, it's stretching out
over the ceiling

and then it's like
putting me inside its mouth.

I am worried it can k*ll people.

so, christine, I'm glad I'm here

because,
when we spoke on the phone,

you sounded like you
were going through hell.

Yes. It is hell.

Every day is a battle.

So, christine, I know you
and your mom live here.

Anybody else living
in the house?

Yes, sir.

It's me, my mom,
and my nephew ronnie.

He'll be 33 in November.

Have you had activity
here the whole time?

Yes, sir.

However, I thought
I might've been hallucinatin'

because I was
in active addiction.

And, on the phone,
you said the activity

picked up once you got clean.

It got way worse
when I got clean

and it seems like
that whatever's here

is trying to push me
over the edge.

It wants to destroy me,
wants me to use again.

I don't ever wanna go
back to that.

Tell me what you guys
are experiencing here.

We hear strange noises,
voices, feelin' drained.

I've seen shadow figures

and it's gotten
physically violent now.

So I gotta ask you, if it's
as bad as you say it is,

what are you still doin' here?

Well, my mom loves it here
and, um,

she doesn't wanna move.

So, christine, what
do you think is here?

My sister passed away here.

I feel like she's here.

What happened?

overdose.

Okay.
How long ago was that?

2012.

I found her and I tried cpr.

Couldn't get her back.

It's not a pretty sight.

no.

You okay?

My mom always tells me
not to cry

because it makes it worse.

That's not true.
You gotta let it out.

One way or another,

we'll figure out
somethin' here, okay?

Okay.

so, the first person
I'm seeing is

an old lady don't want us here.

She was just, you know,
"get out. Get outta here.

Just go on now.

Just get outta here."

she little.
She's about this tall.

I would think that she
lived here, at some point.

You know, what it seems
like to me is

she doesn't know she's dead.

I'm thinkin' recent,

in the like last 5 to 10 years,
I guess I'd say.

something here had something
to do with her death.

Do you know how she d*ed?

I feel like dr*gs.

Painkillers.

okay. So, christine,
what's goin' on in here?

I was comin' in here one mornin'

and I heard this male voice
scream in my ear,

"what the ****
are you doin' here?"

okay.
So, was it a male voice

that you recognized?

No.

Was the tv on?

No.
The tv wasn't on.

Okay.
Anything else?

When I go down the hall,

I feel like I'm being pushed,
feels like two hands pushing me.

What do you think that is?

It feels male.

Okay.

Somethin' evil that's
pushin' me into the room.

Anything else?

Yeah. I was in bed
with my mom

and I felt somethin'
pull me on my arm

and pull me out of the bed.

Now, this wasn't a dream,

by any chance?
Could it have been?

No.
It wasn't a dream.

I wasn't asleep yet.

If what you're
tellin' me is true,

I don't know how
you're stayin' here,

to be honest with you.

Got no other where else to go.

You're shakin'.

- Yeah.
- Just thinkin' about it.

Look at you.
Look at you.

- Yeah.
- Hold my hand for a second.

Look at you.
- Yeah.

You're shakin'.

Because I'm scared.

We're here.
We're gonna try

to figure this out, okay?

Yeah.

I'm seeing... This man.

He's just a horrible,
horrible person.

Any idea what kind
of experiences

the living might have with him?

There is this wood paneling
and he's standing there

and like scratching it
and scratching it,

making all of this racket.

He's so ugly, like it's just

his ugliness is manifesting
in how people see him.

He's gross.

like he can't... Stand it
if people have money around him

because he's the only one like
basically allowed to have money.

okay. So, what's
goin' on in here?

I'm constantly being watched.

So exactly where were you
feeling watched from?

Up in that upper corner.

- Right there?
- Right up there.

It's creepy.

It makes me feel uneasy, scared.

My legs are shaking.

Okay.
You alright?

- Yeah.
- Yeah?

Yeah.

- You sure?
- Yeah.

I get the cold chills.

Okay. Do you wanna sit on the bed?
You okay?

- Yeah.
- Yeah, sit on the bed.

That better for you?

- Yes.
- Okay.

Try and relax.

Calm down.

So these cold chills you get,

where do you feel those?

All over my body.

They make my teeth chatter.

I know I've seen guys
go through withdrawal

and that can happen.

It's not withdrawals.

It's been too long.

Alright.
You got a lot goin' on,

so, I mean, anything else?

I see a dark shadow zip
across the bottom of the floor

and it's got ragged edges on it,

like a ripped dress
with holes in it.

This feels feminine to me

- okay.
- Because it's got a dress on.

Okay.
Anything else?

Extreme mood changes

and I'll burst out
into a violent rage.

So why is that
paranormal, though?

Because that's not me.

Okay.

It's not me at all.

Does anybody else
experience that?

Yes.

My mom, too.

She'll just walk by and just
blurt outta her mouth

something really mean and nasty.

- Okay.
- And that's not my mom.

And what about your nephew?

He bein' affected by it?

Yes.

So the mood changes
you're having,

is it always like
this rage and anger?

No, not all the time.

Severe bouts of depression,
anxiety.

Okay.

Whatever's here,
what do you think it wants?

I feel like it's tryin'
to k*ll me.

- Okay.
- It wants me to relapse

so it can take my soul.

Okay.

I'm seeing that shadow thing
again, the one from the ceiling.

Weird.

I actually think it's a woman.

I do feel like
they would see her.

She likes to peek out
from corners.

She reads minds.

She can also display
what freaks you out.

It's not just ****
that scares you.

It's also stuff you like,

but she'll twist it,
to make it scary.

So she can make you feel
really bad.

She did touch me with a finger
and it felt like ice.

she has something to do
with that lady's death,

the older woman there.

So, I'm gonna assume
she k*lled her.

She could cause
instantaneous death.

so, barbara, your daughter
christine called us in

because she thinks
whatever's here

is pretty dangerous.

Yes, it is.

She also thinks whatever's here

might've played into
your daughter's death.

I think so, too.

So, as far as experiences go,

anything you can tell me about?

Well, sometimes,
when I come in the house,

I get mad at nothing
and I go into a rage.

Well, I was talking to
your daughter about that.

She says basically
everybody does.

Describe what happens
when it comes over you.

I throw things.

Really?

I get pissed and I end up
cussing her out.

So, anything else?

I have seen a shadow figure walk

from the living room
to the kitchen

and it's a woman with long hair.

And it couldn't have
been a shadow

from outside
or anything like that?

No, because that curtain
was closed at the time.

Okay. Your
daughter christine

is pretty convinced there's
something evil here.

What do you think it wants?

It just wants us to fight
with each other

so we can just maybe
k*ll each other.

The **** is goin'
on in this damn place?

That shadow woman is stalking
a living person here.

Like creeping,
opening and closing the door...

Scratching.

She is always over here,

just watching and just watching.

lookin' like some kinda
damn creature,

like a nightmare, like creepy.

so, ronnie, I understand
you're christine's nephew.

Yes.

How long have you
lived here, anyway?

Four and a half,
maybe five years.

Okay. So, as far as experiences
go, have you had any?

Yeah.
I was asleep one night.

All of a sudden,
woke up gaspin' for air

and I looked and I seen
my mom standing there.

Okay.
So, at this point,

your mom had passed already?

Yeah.
Pretty much the full figure.

Just like you're
standing right here.

Did you think you were dreaming?

Yeah, at first I did, but,
then, she touched me and...

She told me
everything was gonna be okay

and that she forgave me.

what'd she forgive you
for? Do you know?

Me and her got into a big
argument over the phone

and I told her that
I wished she was dead.

And, next thing I know,

I get a phone call
saying that she was gone.

That's the last words
you spoke with her?

your aunt and your grandmother

both feel whatever's
in this house

attributed
to your mom's passing.

You have any thoughts on that?

Honestly, I don't know.

It has crossed my mind
multiple times.

Okay. So, anything else
you can tell me about?

I've heard a voice
sound like my aunt.

so I walked through the house.
I was like,

"hang on.
She's not even here."

it actually kinda had me
trippin' a little bit.

I'm getting like a male.

I think he's alive.

I'm seeing all this blackness
going into his stomach.

It hurts!

The shadow woman
is doing this to him.

aah!

what kind of effect
would that have on him?

She is influencing him,
and not in a good way.

Meaning what?

Possessing, controlling.

I see the word warning,

like there's a warning
about him, and she's like,

"shhhhhhh!"

so, any other experience
you can tell me about?

A buncha rage goin' on.

Well, your aunt
and your grandmother

told me about the rage.

Anytime one of them
would start snappin' at me,

I instantly snap back
'cause, I mean,

I was raised not
to put up with nothin'.

Are you worried
it may get violent?

Yeah.

it worries me.

I worry about it every day.

What do you think is goin' on,

as far as the activity?

Honestly, I don't know.

But whatever it is,
it really loves anger.

The shadow woman is really
focused on this living man.

I feel like, you know,
it kinda... Like brought it on.

Like he kinda knows
what's goin' on

and he kinda likes it.

Initially, she came in

and kinda gave him
energy and strength.

I think he felt like he had more
power and he just felt better.

He felt more in control.

It allows him
to get his anger out.

But, now, I think it's gettin'
out of control, man,

and she's consuming him...

Takin' over his body,
like possession.

You know, he's losin'
his damn mind!

Bro, he's about to snap!

This is not good.

I just got off the phone
with a local genealogist.

Now, she told me the original
owner of christine's property

had it for over 50 years

and this guy was known
for two things:

Money and v*olence.

Sounds like this could
definitely help my case.

well, diane, thanks for helping
me out

with this case
and meeting with me.

I mean, who was this guy
and when did he get

to my client's property?

His name was daniel jennings

and, by 1870,

he ended up owning
over 220 acres.

Okay. So this is
a resourceful guy.

I would say so.

A lot of people,
after the civil w*r,

farms were destroyed,

so, to own land, you know,

in the 1860s, 1870s,
that was an accomplishment.

Okay.

I'm seeing the
old ugly guy again.

His head is way
too small for his body,

huge stomach,

and this really big nose

and like really red cheeks.

He looks like
a dickens character.

I'd put him in the 1890s
to the 1920s?

And he's super rich!

You mentioned, on the phone,

that this guy jennings
had a violent streak.

I mean, what were
you talkin' about?

Yeah, it seems he was
kind of quick to anger

and so settled
disputes violently,

and we have a couple
of examples of that.

Let's talk about 'em.

In August 1874,

a young black man wandered
onto jennings' property

and his name was noah pailin.

The young man
was seeking some food,

so jennings provided him
with some apples.

Okay.
So what happened?

Well, daniel turns around,

he demands that pailin
leave the property.

Pailin doesn't.

He walks into his house.

He gets his g*n.
He comes out.

Pailin is still there.

And he sh**t him.

Pailin d*ed the very next day.

So, now, he m*rder*d a
guy on his own property.

Did he get charged with it?

Yes, he was charged with m*rder.

There was a trial held
in February of 1875

and he was found not guilty.

Okay.

You mentioned there were
two stories of v*olence

with this guy.
What was the other one?

Daniel jennings and his family

had a rivalry with a family
called mcpherson.

On January 12, 1905,

one of daniel's sons
and a mcpherson boy

had a disagreement.

- Okay.
- And, because of that,

daniel set up to have a brawl
with the mcpherson clan

at a location about a mile
from your client's house.

Okay.
So what happened?

It got bloody.

Someone had a throat slashed.

Somebody had an ear cut off.

How old is this guy,
at this point?

Daniel is in his later 60s.

This guy's a maniac.
I mean, he's in his 60s

and he's out there
fightin' like a kid.

He did not back down at what
he viewed as an insult.

I'm seeing two dead boys.

First one is a white male.

He's probably like
maybe 17 years old.

There was one gravestone
in the grass.

you know, some kind of nickname.

I just saw "mc."

it's probably around the 1930s?

The two boys might be
from two different time periods.

And then, the other boy,
he's black.

They're both very quiet

and just kind of like
watching everything.

that old ugly guy?

He's aware of the two dead boys
and he hates them.

He calls them trash
that needs to be put out.

I think he would probably k*ll
these two other boys, somehow.

okay.
So this guy kills a man,

organizes a g*ng fight

where people get slashed
and lose ears.

Say that money and v*olence

is part of this guy's life

is an understatement.

Whatever happened to this guy?

Basically, he lived out the rest
of his life on the farm.

He didn't die until 1922.

He d*ed of heart disease
when he was 88 years old

and here's
his death certificate.

My mother used to say

that only the good die young.

This ugly guy hates
everyone on this land.

How old is this guy?

Much older.
I'd say like probably 83.

Any idea how he d*ed?

I think natural causes.

He's a nightmare.

so, I'm driving over to meet
a local historian.

He says he found a story
of a mother and her child

who d*ed tragically right
across the street

from christine's property.

He says it's a story

I'm definitely gonna
wanna know about.

so, the death you came across

near my client's property,

what's the story with that?

So, in the 1920s and '30s,

there was a series of diphtheria
outbreaks in the area.

What does that have to do
with these two deaths?

In July 1935,

a local doctor was giving
vaccinations at the church

less than 1,000 feet
from the client's property.

Okay.
So what happened?

A local woman,
named lona hurdle,

brought her young daughter
to that clinic

and got the vaccination sh*t.

This is lona
and her husband, joe;

and their little daughter doris.

She's only 18 months old.

Okay.
So what happened?

Unfortunately, shortly
after receiving the vaccine,

the child fell seriously ill

and, later that evening,
she dies.

I mean, the mother must've
been out of her mind.

She was devastated.

I mean, she actually believed

that she had caused
her own daughter's death.

So she finds a toxic
chemical in the house

and she commits su1c1de.

You're kiddin' me.

There's her death certificate.

And here's the kicker
to the whole story.

The family learned,
after lona's death,

that the daughter, doris,

d*ed from an intestinal disease.

you gotta be kiddin' me.

So this kid didn't die
from the vaccine

and the mother committed
su1c1de over it?

What a shame.
This is one

of the most tragic
stories I've heard.

It is very tragic.

The shadow woman
won't tell me how she d*ed.

You know, all she said was
like she d*ed brutally

and I'm like,
"well, that must be m*rder."

and she's like,
"it was illness."

probably a very long time ago.

Probably when this was
I'm assuming like

farmland or something.

Seems like she k*lled
herself here.

so far, I've got
a family suffering

from physical att*cks
and violent mood swings

on a property where one man
was sh*t to death

and a grieving mother
k*lled herself,

but, I wanna see
if there's anything else.

diggin' through old records,
I discover a homicide from 1995.

Turns out, it happened
just 3,000 feet

from christine's house.

so, I asked a local pi to look
into this homicide for me.

Now, he says it was
a love triangle gone wrong

and the victim?

Never saw it coming.

so, john, I appreciate you

helping me out with this case.

What do we know
about this victim?

The victim is named
glenn guarino.

He's a 46-year-old
vietnam veteran

and a recipient
of the purple heart.

Okay. So,

this guy live alone?
Was he married?

So he was married.
His wife's name was deborah.

They had a daughter together

and they lived
just a few thousand feet

from your client's property.

Alright.
What happened?

On December 5th of 1995,
glenn guarino went missing.

He just vanished
and, at the time,

his wife, deborah,
was tellin' friends and family

that he had
a reoccurrence of ptsd

and had been admitted

into a mental hospital
in new jersey.

The suspicious thing, though,

was that,
when family checked in,

they couldn't find
any record of him being

in any hospital in new jersey.

Alright. So, now,
the family can't find him

up in jersey.
What do they do?

Right.
So, in October of 1996,

his mom filed a formal
missing persons report

down here in north carolina

and basically ignites
the investigation

into looking for glenn.

Okay. So, now, where do
the cops go from here?

They get a tip that deborah had

her 36-year-old boyfriend,
perry woltz,

move into the house not long
after glenn went missing.

Okay. So she's sharp
as a marble, basically.

They're not even divorced
or anything, but,

this guy's livin' with her?

They seized on that opportunity

to go out and interview perry.

Okay. So, now, they pick up
perry, bring him back,

put him in the box,
and interrogate him?

They do.

So perry tells
the investigators that,

in the middle of the night,

deborah sh*t glenn

in the temple while he slept.

She then called perry over
to help dispose of the body

and the two of them buried him

in the backyard
underneath a fish pond.

However, prior to burying him,

deborah fired a second sh*t
into her husband's head,

to make sure that he was dead.

Here's the autopsy report.

alright. So I assume they
make an arrest after that.

Right.
So both perry and deborah

were arrested
on February 5, 1997.

Deborah pled not guilty,
but it took the jury

only 45 minutes to convict
her of first-degree m*rder

and sentence her
to life in prison

without the possibility
of parole.

What about perry?

Perry made a deal
with the prosecutors

and he testified against deborah

and he was convicted
of second-degree m*rder

and he received
a much lighter sentence.

Now, what about her?

I mean, any motive?

Nobody knows, to this day,

why she snapped
and k*lled her husband.

The shadow woman
goes everywhere.

she definitely roams.

She can go and bother people.

I wanna say she is
influencing a large area.

This is bad.

She feels anger.

She's influencing people,
making them angry and violent.

yeah, it's a lot.

I saw a lot of disturbing
things on my walk,

but two concerned me the most.

First, the woman
who overdosed on dr*gs.

she was an older lady.

She had one of those kinda
perms and smaller eyes.

Neck was thinner.

Okay.

Next, I describe the shadow
woman attacking the living male.

He was at the end of his bed

and he had like a black hole
opened into his stomach.

This dead chick,
she goes into him there.

amy, was this what you saw?

Yes.

Now that amy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

So, amy, this is christine
and her mother, barbara.

They live here with
christine's nephew ronnie.

That's him in the middle
right here.

There's been activity
here for years,

but things have gotten so bad
that no one can deny

there's something here
and it's not good.

These two ladies are counting
on you to fix it

before somebody gets k*lled.

So, unless amy's got
some questions for you guys,

I'll ask her to describe
her walk for us.

the first person I encountered
was a dead woman.

She really didn't want us there.

I think this deceased woman
lived here, at some point.

She was pretty petite,
average weight.

To me, she looked like
to be in her early 60s.

So I kinda feel like
she's a more recent death,

within the last 5 to 10 years.

Wow.

So, what are we ladies thinkin'?

Same thing I'm thinkin'?

Yeah.

Christine's sister stephanie
lived here for five years,

but she d*ed
a tragic death in 2012.

She passed away
from an overdose.

Really?!

- yeah.
- Wow!

I tried to do cpr,

but, she passed away
at the house.

How old was she, though?

Forty-eight when she d*ed.

Maybe she looks older
because of the dr*gs?

I have a picture of her,
taken right before she passed.

So do you think stephanie
could be the woman you saw?

Well, I had a sketch done
of the person that I saw.

my gosh.

it looks just like her.

Looks like her
when she would be older.

Explain to amy why
you got sober, though.

I'm a recovering addict.

I was tired and I
wanted a new life,

so I changed.

Okay.

Okay.

Now, you told me you felt,
as soon as you got sober,

that's when things started
to get crazy here.

Yes.

Does that make any sense to you?

Yes.

When you get sober,
awareness level

will be much more heightened.

That's crazy.

so, the next dead person that I
encountered was a deceased male.

I thought maybe you'd see him.

He's very unattractive.

So, however he presents,
it would be unpleasant.

He's not a good person,
very aggressive,

a lot of hate,
and he can get physical.

Now, you've had some
physical stuff happen

to you here.

Yes.

Tell her about the hole.

I feel like
that I'm gettin' pushed

down into my bedroom.

Somebody's taking both
of their hands

and pushing me.

Could this guy do
something like this?

Yeah.

Did you get anything

on who he might've
been when he was alive?

He definitely owned this place

and, really, the whole area.

He was all about money
and power when he was alive.

The way he was presenting to me
would be between 1890 and 1920s.

He did state that he d*ed
from natural causes

and that he was around,
I think, 83 when he d*ed.

So a lot of things amy
was saying reminded me

of a guy I came across
during my investigation.

And his name was daniel jennings

and he was the original
owner of your property.

In fact, he owned over
200 acres of property,

pretty much
the entire neighborhood.

Now, he moved onto the
property in 1870.

You said the guy was aggressive.

The expert I spoke to said

jennings was known to be
a real violent guy.

Now, in 1874, jennings k*lled
a young black guy

that refused
to get off his property.

****

wow.

But, he wound up gettin'
acquitted of it by a jury.

Of course he did.

Now, he d*ed on the property
of heart disease in 1922,

at the age of 84.

Okay.

So, is it possible
that jennings could be

the guy that you're
talkin' about?

Yeah.

so, what else did you encounter?

The dead person
I'm most concerned about

was this woman
that I encountered.

She appears as a shadow person.

She lived on the land,
at some point.

It was back when
the area was just,

I think, farmland
and really tall grass.

The only thing that she said was
that she d*ed a brutal death.

I take that as meaning a m*rder,

but then she clarified later
that it was a horrible illness.

Alright. That's not
much to go on,

but I got a hunch on something.

Back in the 1930s, there was
a woman named lonna hurdle.

She lived about 1,000 feet
from here.

I got a couple of photos
of lonna,

and then this is her
with her husband.

In 1935, lonna took
her daughter, doris,

to a church right across
the street from here

to get her a vaccine
for diphtheria.

So now a few hours later,
young girl got very sick,

went into convulsions,
and she d*ed.

Lonna was devastated.

She thought she k*lled
her daughter, basically,

by getting her the vaccination.

So the grief was too much
for her,

so she swallowed
a bunch of poison.

Here's the crazy part.

The kid did not die
from the vaccination.

The kid d*ed from
an intestinal illness.

So she wound up k*lling herself
basically for no reason.

So you said you were concerned
about this woman.

Why is that?
What could she do to them?

I do feel
that you would see her.

I saw her as a shadow
with longer hair.

Wow. I saw a shadow go by from
the living room to the kitchen.

And she had long hair.

How about that shadowy dress
thing you told me about?

At the bottom of the
floor, I'll see what looks like

a ragged dress that's been torn.

I can feel that it's feminine.

Interesting.
She likes corners in particular.

She likes to stare
at the living,

so I think you would
feel her watching you.

That sure rings a bell,
the feeling of being watched.

She was behind me,
and she touched me

with her finger on my shoulder,
and I felt ice-cold.

So I would think that
the living would feel that.

Sometimes, when I'm in bed,

it feels like
there's a cold blanket

that's wrapped
all the way around me,

and it's freezing cold.

So cold that my teeth
start chattering

and my body starts shaking.

One of the ways that she can
affect living people

is by manipulating
their thoughts.

She reads minds.

She can also display
what freaks you out.

She can make you feel
really bad.

Mind games is what I call it,

ups and downs with depression,

anxiety, anger, fear.

people that I've lost
in the past,

that I love dearly,

they come back in my dreams
all the time.

All my dreams are dead people.

I get angry at nothing.

The other day, she and I
were having

an argument in the kitchen,

and I was screaming
and hollering at her

and she was screaming
and hollering at me

and she said
my eyes turned yellow.

I get angry at ronnie.

And he told me he gets
the same kind of mood,

but it's a reaction, obviously,
to what's going on in the house.

He gets angry really quick.

I think that this dead female

is focused on a male
in the house.

It's got to be ronnie.

He's the only male in the house.

I'm gonna show you a sketch
of what I saw.

the hell is this?

Take a look at that.

My god.

Wow.

she's going into his stomach,
and it hurts.

Gosh.
He's got stomach problems.

Alright. So why is this woman
picking on him?

She's basically trying
to possess him.

Definitely felt powerless,

and he has a lot of anger

that has been bottled up
for a long time,

and she was making him feel
better about all of that,

and he liked that.

And I don't know,
now it's out of control.

What I saw specifically
was him just snapping.

I've never gotten anything
like that before

in any case
that we've ever done.

My god.

The other thing that's happening

is that she is a direct thr*at
to both of you.

She can slowly drain your energy

to the point where you develop
some type of terminal illness.

She can also cause
sudden deaths,

and this would be from things
like sudden heart att*ck

or things like brain aneurysms.

I do believe that she did

have something to do
with your sister's death.

now you told me that you thought
whatever is in this house

was trying to get you
to start using again.

Yes.

Takes me to places
I don't like to be.

That make sense?

Well, yeah, that's her thing,
yeah.

Really, really pissed off.

I'm worried for her.

I'm worried for him.

My worst nightmares
have come to life,

and my family is gonna wind up

hurting me or somebody else.

I knew it was bad,

but I didn't think
it was this bad.

It's just horrible.

- You alright?
- Yeah, I need some air.

Okay.

So, christine, you called us in

because you thought you and
your family were in danger here.

What we don't know is whether
there's anything you can do

to fix this so that you can
keep your life on track

and stay here safely
with your family.

For that answer, I'm going
to turn it over to amy.

I do feel that you
really need to move.

your sister is gonna follow,

and then hopefully she can
start her process of moving on.

Her following them is not
gonna cause any danger?

No. Not at all.

The next thing I would like
ronnie to do

is to go and attend a healing

at a church that does
faith healing,

revivals, things of that nature.

He needs that kind of experience

to break and sever the tie

with this woman.

You think he'd be up for that?

I'm gonna sure as hell try.

Otherwise you know you're going
to have to sever ties with him.

Yeah.

And I wanted to let you know,
like, as far as the old man

who's been unfortunately,
you know, harassing you,

he'll stay here because
he's so tied to this land.

He can have it.

That place is nothing
but bad memories.

It sounds like a win-win if you
do what amy tells you to do.

It is a win-win.

I'm not staying.

Nobody is.

We'll find a nice place.

And you deserve it now.

You need to start
your life over.

These answers, as tough as they
are, is what you needed to hear.

Yeah, it's a lot to hear,
but I wanted the truth.

You've answered every question
that I needed answered, really,

and I'm not going
to suffer anymore.

And I'm not gonna let anything
steal my joy from me.

Thank you so much.

It's never easy
telling a family to move out,

but if christine
and barbara leave

and get ronnie
the help he needs,

they will finally be able
to live

in a peaceful and loving home.

hi, amy and steve.

This is christine and barbara
from elizabeth city,

north carolina, coming at you
with an update.

Activity has d*ed down

and ronnie has agreed
to go to church

and do the hands-on healing,

and if activity decides
to pick up,

then we are gonna move.

Thank you, steve and amy,
for coming out and helping us.

We appreciate it.
Thank you.
