04x23 - Bad Day in Hazzard

'Yee-haw!'

When Bo and Luke
Duke have to go to town

they usually take the
back roads to avoid traffic.

'Course sometimes
the traffic decides

to take back roads too.

'Luke. Alright, hang on.'

You alright?

'Yeah.'

No thanks to them hotshots.
Come on, let's get 'em.

No use. General can't move.
We'll have to get out and push.

Don't that b*at all? They dang
near make a sandwich out of us.

We can't do a thing about it.

You wanted to talk
to us, Mr. Thackery?

Loggins, you're an imbecile.

That little stunt you
just caused back there

could have cost us
ten million dollars.

But we were just
timin' the escape route

out of Hazzard like you ordered.

Nonetheless, you should've
given the right-of-way

to that orange car.

Which belongs, I remind
you, to those two young men..

Named Duke.

- Duke?
- Yes.

- We're to pick 'em up at three.
- But not now.

Gentlemen, I'm warning you.

This job was planned
like a m*llitary operation

and I will not tolerate
the slightest error.

- Is that understood?
- Yes, sir.

Good. Then, get me
those photographs.

Bring them to me
at the command post

as quickly as possible.

They got the Dukes at o'clock?

Well, it sounds
like ol' Bo and Luke

are gonna have a
full day ahead of 'em.

By the time Bo and Luke got
General Lee cranked and cookin'

the Thackery dude's
men was taking pictures

of Boss Hogg's
bank by the bushel.

And it ain't 'cause it's
an architectural wonder

it's plum ordinary.

Hey, isn't that that orange
car we run into the ditch?

Yeah. We got pictures of the
bank and escape route. Let's go.

- Right on time.
- Right on..

Hey, Bo. Look over
there at the bank.

'Those guys look familiar.'

You're right. Them two
guys almost clobbered us.

- Let's go.
- Come on.

Now, y'all may have
noticed that the Hazzard folks

don't think this is too
much out of the ordinary.

It takes a lot to stir them up.

'They're keeping up with
us. Can you shake 'em?'

Why should we? We'll change
plans and pick 'em up now.

Okay.

Looks like their
engine's actin' up.

Now, ain't that a pity?

Alright. Come on,
get out of there.

We're making a citizen's arrest.

Alright, now, get out of there.

You got it backwards,
country boy.

We ain't goin' anywhere with
you. You're comin' with us.

Well, we can forget
the whole thing.

'Shut up and get
in the backseat.'

- We were a little hasty.
- Ah, listen.

We-we can forget
the whole thing.

I didn't wanna come
after you. It's his idea.

Bo, come on.

If you think the
boys are in trouble

it ain't nothin' compared
to what's gonna happen

at the Boars Nest to
the rest of the Dukes.

Uh, waitress. Over here please.

Anything wrong?

Never in my life have I
had such a wretched libation.

And here I've
been callin' it beer.

Is that what you
call this swill?

Well, then, bring me
somethin' in a bottle.

- And I'll open it.
- Yes, sir.

Hey, Daisy.

Uncle Jesse. What
are you doin' here?

I got your message
'bout needin' a ride home.

- I come to pick you up.
- I don't need a ride home.

And I didn't send
you any message.

- Well, then, who did?
- I did, Mr. Duke.

I didn't want you to
become a source of trouble

when Daisy failed to come
home after the luncheon trade.

- How do you know our name?
- 'Let's call it research.'

I know absolutely everything

about your quaint
little Hazzard County.

Well, why would anybody
research Hazzard County?

Well, let's call the
motive, greed, sir. Peters.

I tell you

this is turnin' out to be
one strange day in Hazzard

and that's strange.

Just be careful with that, son.

I think it's time we
summoned our host, Mr. Hogg

as we discussed.

My pleasure.

Now, that's a summons.

Alright, wait a minute.
You can't do that.

I don't allow target practicin'
in this here establishment.

Uh, J.D., he's, uh,
not target practicin'.

Don't sh**t. Don't sh**t.

You don't want this. It's
just monopoly money.

Jesse, don't stand
there. Do somethin'.

Well, we're all in
the same boat, J.D.

Mr. Hogg, I assure you

we haven't the slightest
interest in the paltry proceeds

of this miserable establishment.

Uh, oh, well, if you're sayin'
what I think you're sayin'

you're sayin' you ain't
interested in this here money.

- That's correct.
- Alright, then.

Just exactly what do you want?

In due time, Mr. Hogg. Would
you please sit down, now?

- Alright.
- All of you, please.

Look at that. Phase
two's right on schedule.

What did you expect
from Mr. Thackery?

You guys sure you
came to the right place?

'The beer's cold,
the food's bad..'

No, that's it. Hey,
Duke boy. Let him go.

Bo, ain't you never
learned how to do that right?

Loggins, take
his Kn*fe. Let's go.

Let's go.

Hey, slim. Sit down.

Slim who? Oh, thank you.

- Alright.
- Hey, hey!

Well, well, well. We have
two extra guests I see, hmm?

- Bo and Luke Duke, isn't it?
- Yeah, what's it to you?

We got photographs of
everyone who might be affected

by this operation.

Taken without notice, of course.

You weren't supposed to
bring them for another hour.

I had to, Mr. Thackery. They
saw us takin' pictures of the bank.

Taking pictures? Is
that what you were doin'?

Thought you were lookin'
for another car to run off into...

Gentlemen, please, please.

At least try to act civilized.

Civilized?

You call keepin' five
people penned up civilized?

How long are you
gonna keep us here?

Only as long as it takes
the armored car from Atlanta

to get to Mr. Hogg's
bank here this afternoon.

- You're gonna hijack it!
- Of course.

Now, listen. You're
just wastin' your time.

Let me tell you

'all that truck is droppin' off'

is $ in small change
for my penny arcade.

That you ain't gonna
go far, split four ways.

Hazzard's only the first stop.

You see the car will
also be transferring funds

from the Federal
Reserve Bank in Atlanta

to Charlotte, North
Carolina, ten million dollars.

Te..

Ten million dollars?

Not bad for a
couple of hours work.

Provided you can
get away with it.

'Yeah, well, which they won't.'

On account of

Hazzard just happens to have
the best lawmen in the south.

Oh, I know it.

Rosco P. Coltrane
and Cletus Hogg.

And I just happen to have
both of them in my pocket.

Meanwhile, Hazzard
County's finest

was keeping their lawful vigil.

Oh, did you see that, Flash?

That was a humongous splash.

Fighting the forces of
evil and crime and all.

Keeping Hazzard
safe for democracy.

Now, y'all watch, 'cause
this thing is really slick.

'Uh, Rosco and Cletus.'

'This is J.D.
Hogg callin' to ya.'

'You two dodos got your
ears on? Come back!'

Ooh, ooh!

Yeah, uh, Boss. This
is Rosco. I'm here.

Me too. What can I do for ya?

'Come here to Boars Nest on
the double, it's an emergency.'

'No, make that on the triple.
It's a double emergency.'

Well, then, that's a quadruple
affirmative. We're on our way.

Me too, four-ten, ten-four.
Four, me, two-ten. Hike.

Say, that sounds like
me. But you can't do that.

Don't you know
it's against the law

to impersonate
a county official?

Oh, on the contrary, sir

don't you recognize
your own voice?

'My own voice?
Now, wait a minute.'

I never recorded them exact
sentences for you and nobody.

- In a way, you did, Boss.
- 'I did?'

Only each one of 'em words

must've come out of your
mouth at a different time.

You must've been
monitoring his CB for months

to be able to put
together a tape like that.

Well, I guess we didn't
fool you boys at all.

Fortunately, the sheriff and
his deputy aren't that smart.

Well, that's a fact.

Y'all know how some folks
work when they get nervous?

Well, sweatin'
makes Boss hungry.

Well, ol' Rosco
and Cletus fell for it.

They started racing to
see which one can get back

to Boss first.

Well, the Dukes ain't about
to let Thackery knock over

that armored car.

But the only ones left
to help the Dukes escape

is Rosco and Cletus.

Now, you know the
Dukes were in trouble.

Cletus, you cow chip.

You scuffed my fender. It's
gonna come out of your pay.

Not when Cousin Boss sees
I'm the one next to his side

in his hour of need, it's not..

Oh, no. No, no. Cletus..

Boss, we got here just
as soon as we could.

- Duck, it's a trap.
- What?

'Let go..'

Let her go.

Ooh!

How'd you like to be
droppin' by for a big orange

and walk in on this?

Alright, that evens up
a little. Let's get him.

I'm sorry to interrupt
your fun, gentlemen.

The b*ll*ts in this w*apon
are small, but just as deadly.

Now, if you'll forgive
a cliche, hands up.

You too.

Let's split 'em up.

Take Rosco, Cletus,
and Hogg there

and take 'em into that office.

Uh, excuse me, sir,
but, could I take my dog?

Good heavens. Just as long
as you keep him out of the way.

Ooh. Say thank you
to the nice hijacker.

Don't go gouging with
that g*n. I'll knock you..

- 'Come on!'
- Rest of them, get in there.

Yes, sir.

This is the hardest
ten million dollars

I've ever had to earn.

Well, I wouldn't
count on spendin' it.

You ain't got your
hands on it yet.

Well, I admire your
spirit, Mr. Duke.

But fortunately, we haven't
overlooked a single detail.

Excuse me. That's for me.

- 'Yeah?'
- Confident, cuz, ain't he?

The way things been
goin', he's got a right to be.

- Shh.
- Sure does.

Now, folks, this is
what the fuss is about.

The booty's in the bag,
and headed to Hazzard.

And Thackery's plan is tickin'
along like a railroad watch.

One driver and one
guard. Both new men.

Well, it's nice to hear my
information was correct.

You keep calling us
at every checkpoint.

That means that the armored car

is due to arrive in exactly two
hours and forty nine minutes.

'Now, if you all
behave until that time'

no one will be harmed.

Ah!

Would you two mind sitting
down over there, please?

Well, I'd mind.
No, I wouldn't mind.

- Not at all.
- It'd be comfortable sitting.

- Me too.
- Uh, no, Mr. Hogg. Not you.

I need your services
here at the desk. Sit down.

Yeah. Sit down.

Now, get me the radio station.

Huh? The radio station?

Yes. And when you talk, talk
as if everything were delightful.

Delightful? Well, anything you
want, you get. Delightful it is.

Hello, Mabel, this is J.D. Hogg.

- And say hello from Rosco.
- 'A-and hello from Rosco.'

How am I?

Oh, oh, I'm delightful.

Yeah. Everything's
delightful. He he he.

Say, uh, would you
just put me through

to my delightful radio station?

Now, when they come back,
tell them that you want them

to patch you into
the transmitter.

Transmitter?

Oh, hello, Peabody,
this is J.D. Hogg.

Say, uh, patch me
into the transmitter.

'Well, I don't care if
you are broadcastin'.'

Just patch me in.
And I mean now!

It's a matter of life and death.

Ah!

Candy.

Am I patched in? I'm patched in.

- Read this.
- Hmm.

'Uh, my fellow Hazzardites.'

'This is your county
commissioner, J.D. Hogg..'

'...bringin' you an important
public service announcement.'

Due to a sudden invasion
of the Abyssinian fruit fly

'the department of agriculture'

is conductin' an aerial
insect sprayin' this afternoon.'

'All residents must
evacuate the town of Hazzard'

by three o'clock this
afternoon, under penalty of law.

Ooh.

I-I can feel those
fruit flies already.

'Are you kiddin' me?'

No self-respecting fruit fly
will att*ck a body like that.

- Oh, yeah?
- Yeah.

Well, how was that? Is
that delightful enough?

That was wonderful. Would
you mind doing it again?

Again? Well, alright.

That thug Thackery
is really smart.

He's making sure there's
nobody in town to stop him

when he hits that armored truck.

It may be taking a chance
but we best get over

to Chickasaw County and
talk to Sheriff Little, huh?

They're watchin'
us too close now.

Maybe they're counting
on all of us staying together.

When the right break
comes, I'll try to step out alone.

Now, y'all know that
everybody in Hazzard

ain't gonna buy that.

But enough will to create
confusion and diversion

and thin out the square.

Which was Thackery's plan.

That was really very
well done, Mr. Hogg.

Thank you.

How does it feel
to be an accessory

to a ten million
dollar hijacking?

Wait a minute. I
ain't no accessory.

I never was, and-and
I never would be.

I think you'll find
that very difficult

to prove to the authorities

after broadcasting that
false evacuation notice.

Uh, excuse me. Could I
ask you a little-bitty favor?

Uh, could I take
Flash for a little walk?

I'm afraid she's
gonna have to wait.

'Uh, see, she can't wait.'

See, this is a
humongous emergency.

You see, when Flash
has to go for a walk

she gives me a signal, I
can see it in her eyes. In fact..

'You can look into her eyes.
They're gettin' awful teary.'

'Get that smelly beast away.'

- And get back in that office.
- Well, I just..

Well, I'm not responsible
for her crying on Boss's..

Now, this gives me an
idea. It's now or never.

See there, partner. I wonder
if it'd be alright if I went..

- Now, Luke!
- Go.

This here is Luke
Duke calling Sheriff Little

in Chickasaw County.

Sheriff Little, Chickasaw
County this here's a mayday.

Mayday, come back.

'That's too bad, Mr. Duke.'

You know you've to be on
the other side of Iron Mountain

to reach Chickasaw County.

I'll be in a few minutes.

Of course you'll be
there in a few miles.

But if you're not back
here in three minutes

'three minutes of radio silence'

'your Uncle Jesse will
become your late Uncle Jesse.'

Dang it!

Alright. I read
ya loud and clear.

I'll see you in three minutes.

With Luke back in
Thackery's hands

it's beginnin' to look like
there's only one Duke left

to stop the hijackin'
of that armored car.

General Lee.

General Lee!

Reckon what he's doing here?

Hey, y'all. Hey, y'all.

Hey. Uh, look.

I found the General outside.
I hotwired and got him goin'.

Went by y'all's place,
but nobody there.

So I come up here
and I don't reckon

that was a very good idea.

No, it wasn't, Cooter.

Grab a chair, have some
popcorn. We'll tell ya all about it.

Oh, yes. Welcome, sir.

Welcome.

Very nice to have you with us.

While you're all waiting

please feel free
to plan an escape.

I'll only remind you
that all of my associates

are expert marksmen.

'Show 'em, boys.'

Say, what's going on out here?

Oh!

Four bottles of my
best imported brew.

- Get back in here.
- Smashed to smithereens.

Don't you go scuffing
my little fat buddy.

- Yeah, well, it's your fault.
- What?

I'll take the cost of them
busted bottles out of your pay.

Wait just a pea-pickin' minute.
I didn't bust those bottles.

- No?
- 'No.'

If you'd done your
job, and not got caught

them fellows out
there'd be in jail

and not breaking
up my establishment.

Listen, Boss.

Don't think it's gonna matter
to either one of us anyway.

You know what I mean?

Last..

Last will and testament
of Rosco P. Coltrane.

Look at that, Flash. I'm
gonna leave you everythin'.

I ain't got nothin'.

Meanwhile, ten million dollars
was headed for Hazzard.

And Thackery's man was
keeping track of every cent of it.

The armored car just
passed. Right on schedule.

Back at the Boars Nest

old Luke was homin'
in on a way to escape.

That was only
percent su1c1de.

Which was a
percent improvement.

- They did last time.
- Shh.

Holdin' that g*n on
Uncle Jesse, and I just..

One way to do it is escape

without them knowin'
we've escaped.

Oh, sure. What're we gonna do?

Wave a magic wand and
disappear from the Boars Nest?

Speakin' of disappearin'

one time me and J.D. was
runnin' shine down the Southfork.

'Some revenuers
fell in back of us.'

I love these stories.

Well, old J.D., he just turned
'em every way but loose.

We lost 'em. We ended up here.

This was a warehouse in
them days and J.D. used to store

his whiskey here and I thought
he's crazy bringin' 'em here.

Well, anyway, they's out
there poundin' on the door

tryin' to break the
chains and get in

and J.D. and me, we're up
on the ridge, watchin' 'em.

Wait a minute. How'd you
get up on the ridge from here?

Well, we went out through a..

Tunnel.

'Tunnel. J.D. had
a tunnel here.'

It's right over there, under
where the supply room is now.

Well, alright.

Then we gotta get
into that supply room

and we can be home free.

That sounds pretty
good. Why don't you do it?

Look, if you and
J.D. can figure a way

to make 'em think it's their
idea to throw us in there

me and Bo will get
'em riled enough to do it.

Alright.

You and Bo start rilin'.

I'll let J.D. know
what's coming down.

Be a pleasure.

Uh, if you don't mind

I'd like to talk to
my friend, J.D.

This here, says you don't.

Uncle Jesse, I think
you better listen to him.

He's just lookin' for an
excuse to use that g*n.

Well, I figure he's gonna use it
anyway before this day's over.

There's few things
I'd like to say to J.D.

before I meet my maker.

What's it gonna be?

- Let him go.
- Thank you.

J.D.

It don't look like we're
gonna get out of this.

We've known each other since
you was knee-high to a grasshopper.

Yup. That we have, Jesse.

'And I wanna say
you're the meanest'

greediest, backbitin'
human being

ever to hole up in
Hazzard County.

Well, now, this ain't
exactly the time and place

for flattery, is it?

No, it ain't the time for
that, but there was a time

when you was a loyal member
of the Ridge Runner Society.

And we was runnin'
shine together.

'And you helped me
escape from the Feds.'

'Remember that?'

Well, that's how I
want to remember ya.

Helpin' people escape.

Jesse.

I'm really touched.

Let's shake on it, J.D.

Did y'all see how Jesse
kept two fingers tucked in

during that ol' Ridge
Raiders handshake?

Well, that means trouble.

And since Jesse was
talkin' about escape

it ought to remind
Boss of that tunnel

underneath the Boars Nest.

Somethin' better happen soon.

'Cause that bridge at Chickasaw
Crossing is the halfway point

for that armored car.

From now on, it's all
downhill to Hazzard.

I'm on my way.

Thank you.

My pleasure.

Well..

All set if J.D. can remember
what the distress signal is.

Well, we'll find
out right quick.

Hey, Daisy, this
waitin' for the axe to fall

is mighty dried business.

You don't mind, uh,
drawin' us four of them

Boars Nest Specials, do you?

Well, sure, if it's alright
with you, Mr. Thackery.

Be my guests.

Four Boars Nest
Specials comin' up.

Well, I'll just go get
'em if it's alright with you.

One.

Two.

Oh, sh*t!

'Go for it, boys.'

Gimme that g*n now.

Come on. Gimme that right now.

Man, I just hate it
when Daisy's in trouble.

Hey, slow down. We're
supposed to get caught, remember?

Hey! I wouldn't
do that if I was you.

'Cover 'em, Peters.'

Very wise decision, gentlemen.

Just stay right where you are.

Bring 'em inside.

You sure had us pegged.

Well, we didn't
make it, Uncle Jesse.

Alright, Thackery.

Let her go or I'll be over you

like a chicken on a June bug.

I'm alright, Uncle Jesse.

Please, don't start
anything with this guy.

Well, a commendable
idea, Miss Duke.

Perhaps you can teach
it to your cousins here.

Oh, yeah? Say, listen.

Ain't no way nobody can ever
teach them Duke boys nothin'.

'They've been causin' trouble
ever since they was born.'

Thank you for letting me put
my two cents worth in here, Mr..

'...Mr. what's-you-name.'

And thank you for letting
me tell these roughnecks

that we could all
have been k*lled

while they was tryin' to
escape, for the second time.

- We almost made it too.
- That's right.

See, they ain't learned a
thing. They're dangerous.

I want them Duke boys
locked up and locked up now!

For my own good. Everybody
who agrees with me, speak up!

I'm with you. Just go
ahead. Lock 'em up.

- What?
- 'Uncle Jesse!'

How could you go against
your own kin like that?

Because, outside of you,
they's the only things I got.

And I want 'em cooled off fast.

You can't mean
that, Uncle Jesse.

That goes against the grain
of everythin' you taught us.

So what if it does?

You're all I got, and I
want you alive and safe.

I'm beginning to feel we
should've made the command post

in the county jail

Well, listen, I got somethin'
better than that, Mr..

Look here, uh, lock 'em in
my supply room. That's it.

I mean there's only one
door and here's the only key.

Alright, take care of it.

'They've given us
enough trouble already.'

Uncle Jesse.

- Alright, I'm goin'.
- I can't believe this.

Well, as they say in Hazzard,
Old dogs do the best tricks.

Thanks a lot. We'll
remember that.

You boys are gettin' off lucky.

Next time you might
not get off this easy..

If there is a next time.

- Nice fella.
- Little sweetheart.

Uncle Jesse sure did a heck
of an acting job, didn't he?

And Boss didn't
do too bad either.

I suppose we better
find that trap door.

Where do you
wanna start lookin' at?

Well, the way our
luck's been roamin'

it's bound to be under
that mess over there.

Yeah.

- Let's get them out of here.
- Alright, give me that.

No, Flash, you gotta..

I think we've run
out of ink here.

- Uh, Rosco.
- Oh.

- This is my only clean uniform.
- Well, what's more important?

Your uniform or
Flash's inheritance?

Just hush.

I got Adams on the horn.
He's at checkpoint eight.

That means the car's
at three-quarter mark.

Which means it ought to be
here at the bank in minutes.

Time for phase three.

On your feet, sheriff.
You're comin' with me.

Uh, uh, goo... listen, I
hadn't finished my will yet.

- How do you spell bequeathed?
- I don't.

- You don't.
- Let's go.

Well, listen, I-I gotta
say goodbye to Bill, but..

No tears, no regrets.

'The dog's biscuits
are in the icebox!'

Looks like old Flash is
being sure that will is signed.

I'm tellin' you, I
must be gettin' older.

Meanwhile, Bo and Luke was
having to move a ton of grits

to find the trapdoor.

- Here it is.
- Alright.

They're lucky they didn't
have to move the canned gravy.

Must have moved a ton of
these... grits tryin' to find it.

This dang thing's nailed shut.

What're you doin'?

Well, we ain't got
knives to pry the nails out.

I figured belt buckle would
be the next best thing.

Come on, give me a hand.

Alright.

'Now, hear me.
This is Sheriff Rosco.'

'Please co-operate.
This is your last warning.'

People of Hazzard, get off
the streets before it's too late.

The Abyssinian fruit fly
sprayin' is about to begin.

How long am I
gonna have to do this?

'I'm getting hoarse.'

'Hogg's broadcast
seemed to work real good.'

Ain't a sign of
anybody on the streets.

- Ain't nobody on the street.
- Yeah.

We won't be needin' this
anymore, now will we?

Oh.

Or this either.

Oh, that's my CB, that's..

Oh, jumpin' gee-hosa-fat.

What are you worried
about? It's all county property.

That ain't what I'm
worried about. It's my will.

I can't remember whether
I left Flash to mama

or mama to Flash.

By the time Rosco got
back to the Boars Nest

the armored car was just
about at the point of no return

and right into Thackery's trap.

Listen, you're scuffin' my arm..

- Oh, ah, don't do that.
- No, don't do that.

It's a little cold for that.
Don't handcuff me to him.

- No.
- That's more like it.

We don't want two sheriffs
meetin' that armored car.

Much less, two Boss Hoggs.

Oh, what are you talking about?

Maybe cow chips like
Rosco come a dime a dozen

but there's only one J.D. Hogg!

- Until now.
- What?

- Oh, my goodness! Look at that.
- Oh, listen.

He looks just like me.

Old Boss needs to
see his eye doctor.

Or his mirror.

How come there's two of
'em that look like you and me?

- How come?
- Yeah.

Use your brain if you got one.

Who else meets
that armored truck

every time it comes to my bank.

- Oh, you and me.
- Um-hmm.

You and me ain't
gonna meet it this time.

- Not in the flesh.
- No.

That's right.

And unless somebody
does somethin'

'that Federal Reserve
Bank's gonna be out'

ten million dollars and there
ain't gonna be nobody left alive

to tell 'em what happened.

'Alright, pay
attention all of you.'

If you all behave yourselves,
you'll be out of here

in an hour.

If you don't, I hardly need
to tell you what'll happen.

Oh, he..

While Thackery was racin'
that armored car into town

ol' Bo and Luke
was finally gettin' out

of the startin' gate.

'There we go.'

Come on.

Alright, we got it.

Alright, I thought we
was never gonna make it.

He had that nailed
tighter than a coffin lid.

- It's a wrong word to use.
- Yeah. Go on.

Bo, I'll bet there's
spiders down there.

That armored car is
sure making good time.

And Thackery's man is
clocking every second of it too.

Hey, bingo.

Alright!

Here. Give me that.

Which way do you think it is?

Well, unless I'm missin' my
bet, it's this way. Come on.

Alright.

Ah!

What're you tryin' to do,
take the food outta my mouth?

No, I'm tryin' to itch my nose.

Oh, great.

Wouldn't you know it, the only
way out and it's all walled up.

If we've to stop that hijackin',
we'll have to start diggin'.

Start diggin' with what?
We'll use our belts again?

Look around a lit..

Luke, you're gonna make so
much noise, they'll hear us up there.

You got something there.

Well, look, Uncle Jesse
and Boss must know

that we're in here by now.

Maybe, they'll be
listenin' real close.

What good is that gonna do?

This cave runs right
underneath the bar.

If they hear something,
maybe they'll figure out

we're in trouble and do
something to cover us. Come on.

Rosco!

What was that?

It's somebody knockin'
on the floorboards.

It's the boys lettin' us
know they're in the tunnel.

'Quiet.'

Listen, that ain't nothing

compared to the
noise we're gonna hear

when they try to
breakthrough the concrete wall

' at the end of the tunnel.'

Concrete wall?
When'd you put that?

Why didn't you say something?

But I just remembered.

Besides I couldn't tell you
nothing about it in there.

If they hear 'em, they're gonna
catch 'em sure as the world.

They ain't gonna hear 'em 'cause
we gonna do something about it.

I don't know about y'all,
but this waiting around

is just driving me
bonkers. I'm gonna dance.

- Come on, Uncle Jesse.
- Yeah.

Hold on.

They read us loud and clear.

Let's start diggin'.

'Yahoo.'

Wait a minute, wait a
minute, let me cut in here.

'Cause Rosco and I can
make more noise than you can.

You know what I mean?

Come on, fellas.

'Whoo-hoo!'

'Whoo-hoo!'

If you wanna dance,
get yourself another girl.

By now, Thackery was
already plannin' his next job.

Taxes being what
they are you know.

And the armored car
was hurryin' to dump

that ten million
dollars in his lap.

Alright.

It'll only be a couple
of minutes now.

Whee!

Alright..

Something's wrong. Dennis,
you check the supply room.

The rest of you just
stay right where you are.

- Uh-oh.
- Uh-oh.

Uh-oh.

Uh-oh.

- 'Alright.'
- Alright.

Another couple of swings, we
can swing right on through there.

Well, not unless you can
run faster than a b*llet, boys.

Well, I tell you, the day
they passed out good luck

old Bo and Luke
must've been fishing.

Now, why don't
you just turn around

'nice and slow.'

Maybe we should
forget tryin' to escape.

Now they heard all
them g*nshots upstairs.

His buddy didn't come
down to help him either.

Alright, I've got the g*n,
Cooter, you can let him up now.

'Wait just a purple
pea-pickin' minute!'

You wait, will ya?

I'm the sheriff around here
and I'm the one who says

for anybody to get
up. Alright, get up.

And sit down!

Yeah. Listen,
Daisy, I say that too.

Just sit down!

- You alright?
- We were worried.

We're fine. Get that Thackery.
He's on his way to the bank.

- Alright.
- Maybe we better go too, huh?

Yeah, let's do it. There might
be a reward. Come on, let's go!

Come on, Cletus.

Come on, let's go in the car.

Well, I reckon we'll
stay here with y'all.

- Get in.
- Oh, ho-ho! You're scuffin' me.

Catch up with
'em, after all this.

Rosco, come on,
faster, faster, come on.

Boss, the wheel.

Hold the wheel. Get
over there. Hold it.

- Hold the wheel.
- Wait a minute.

Looks like the Dukes
are cuttin' it finer

than a frog's hair 'cause
the armored car just drove up.

Well, well, here we are again,
right on the button as usual.

Well, if you have
that $ in change

you can take it into the bank.

Close that gate, then,
let's get outta here.

They're gonna try
and make a run for it.

Don't you worry. General
ain't even worked up sweat yet.

Leave it, Boss. This is
my vehicle, let me drive it.

- Alright, you drive it.
- Oh-ho, don't you..

Ah! Ah!

They're okay.

Oh, great, we
ain't. Look at that.

'Keep drivin'.'

Think I'm just gonna duck.

You alright?

Yeah, long as I can still
see out this windshield..

You see, catching that
armored car is easy..

The tricky part is
not getting sh*t.

Keep down, Luke. He's
still got a couple of sh*ts left.

Alright, he's out.

- That evens up the odds.
- Yeah.

Wait till they come
abreast of us again.

Yeah, no sweat.

It'll be like an army t*nk
crushin' a kid's scooter.

Now, look, pull up
alongside on the driver's side.

Just as soon as
I get ready here.

- Alright, pull up alongside.
- Alright.

Well, shake him off.

- Can't see.
- Well, hit the brake!

You know, that's the first
thing Bo's done right all day.

And that's how the
Duke family teamed up

with their old enemy, Boss to
prevent a bad day in Hazzard.

Alright, you in
here. You, in there.

You, in there and you..

Thackery and his g*ng
finally got one thing

he didn't plan for in advance.

Get in here, you..

Oh, holy! Cletus.

Well... here.

Why couldn't it have
been the CIA or the FBI..

Even the state police?

But we were outwitted by
a pair of country bumpkins

it's humiliating.

sh**t, he was just lucky the
Dukes was havin' an off day.

Humiliating.

Old Boss was no
longer off his feet.

Things were goin' so good,
well, he got his appetite back.

No!

The armored car company
was so grateful to the boys

that they bought a brand
spankin' new uniform

for the General.

That's a bodywork and paint job.

And best of all, the government
sent a grant to Hazzard

to help fight the
Abyssinian fruit fly

to be paid as soon as they
can find one in Hazzard County.
