05x12 - The Treasure of Soggy Marsh

Post by bunniefuu »

Yee-haw!

Ever since Deputy
Enos Strate come back

to Hazzard from the big city

he's been chasing the Duke
boys 'cause he was ordered to.

This time it's his own idea.

- He's still hangin' in there.
- Better see what he wants.

Enos, what is it this time?

I'll let you know
when I catch you.

Well, then I guess
we never will find out.

You know, the repair business
is a major industry in Hazzard.

Looks like ol' Enos is gonna
have to put in some overtime

to pay for that water tower.

Excuse me.

'Oh, Rosco, this is the
happiest day of my life.'

- Let me tell you the details.
- Oh, yeah.

Now, of course you do
remember that bank robber.

- Uh, Kingston.
- Oh, yeah, Kingston.

Ten years ago rumor was that
he stashed half a million dollars

of his loot somewhere
in Hazzard County

before he was
nailed by the feds.

I remember. They didn't
find a trace of that money.

- Yeah, till now.
- Now?

'Cause Kingston's cellmate
up at the penitentiary

he got word to me
through the grapevine

that he was coming out soon

and he'd have a map
showing where the money is.

If he's got the map,
what does he need us for?

Since the money was stashed
in the middle of Soggy Marsh

Pruitt needs grubstake so
he can go and buy diving gear.

Plus he needs
someone to make sure

no one comes snoopin'
around while he's lookin'.

Oh, yeah, especially like
a snoopy deputy like Enos

or maybe the Duke boys.

Uh-huh, looks like old
General is done for now.

Hi, fellas.

I'm sorry about the tire.
I'd be glad to pay for that.

It's okay, Enos. You
caught us fair and square.

Why were you chasing us?

Practice. Just wanna
see if I can catch up.

You ain't gonna
give us a ticket?

Oh, heck, no.

I got orders from Sheriff
Rosco to drop everything

and get to the northwest
corner of the county fast.

Fastest way I could think
of was to chase y'all this far.

- 'Good idea, huh?'
- Good idea.

That's a great idea. What's
so important out there?

I gotta paint divider
lines on all the roads

if it takes me a whole week.

And I'm behind schedule already.
Give my best to Uncle Dais..

Uncle Daisy... Uncle
Jesse, I meant. Ha ha ha.

- I'll pay for that tire.
- Okay. See you later.

'See y'all.'

Now, ol' Boss' plan
was already cooking.

There's nothin' but dirt
roads and a lot of possum

where Enos is going.

Are you thinking
what I'm thinking?

There ain't no paved
roads out that way.

You mean to tell me
they got Enos painting

divider lines on dirt roads?

- That don't make sense.
- It sure don't.

Hey, unless maybe Boss and
Rosco are trying to keep the fella

painting those lines out
in the boonies for a week.

Sure appears that way.

And here comes
Boss' little helpers.

Alumni from the state pen

looking for a fresh
start in the line of crime.

Reckon they figured
they'd start at the top, huh?

Here they are. Pink and green.

Uh-uh, uh-uh.

You can't have any of those,
you're on diet. Remember that?

These are for Flash.

- Oh, look there.
- Who?

Oh, hey, you got the map?

You got the scuba
diving gear and boats?

Just waiting to be picked
up. Come on in. Come on.

Oh, watch out for
that dog. He's vicious.

Just to protect my investment
I'll take that map now.

Now, hold on there, Hogg.

We'll need this thing
to find out where to dive

for that half million dollars.

Fifty percent of which,
I remind you, is mine.

Less. My % of % of your %.

- What is he? The resident echo?
- Will you hush?

Don't you sass
Rosco P. Coltrane.

Just how soon can we get
this gear and start diving?

Well, you go park in
the woods someplace.

I'll call you on the CB when
I find a way to stop them

trouble-making Dukes from
poking their nose in our business.

Okay. Come on, Biff.

Grrr.

So stage one of Boss' plan

"Enos out of the way"
was working real good.

He needed to do the
same for the Dukes

so they wouldn't be snooping
around while his divers

were searching Soggy Marsh.

Here they are. They're coming.

'I'll keep them tied up inside'

'long enough for you
to plant the evidence.'

Here.

- Are those doozies?
- Yeah.

Ooh, look at them shine.

- Take the other one too.
- Oh, both of them.

- Hey, Daisy. Ready to go?
- Hey, fellas.

Sure as soon as I finish
setting up for dinner.

- Then I'm off, right, Boss?
- Wrong. Wrong, Daisy. Listen.

I want you to drive
right over to Chickasaw

this very minute and
pick up the menus.

- We don't use menus here.
- We didn't, but now we do.

Starting tonight. I aim to
turn this into a class place.

I'd love to help, Boss,
but my jeep's at Cooter's

getting a brake job...

Yeah, well, I need
those menus today.

Uh, besides, they got
the upped prices on them.

'Uh, listen though, uh..'

you don't know anybody's
car you could borrow, do you?

It wouldn't take
but an hour or two.

You don't have to bat
your baby browns at us.

We'll drive Daisy
over to Chickasaw.

It's strictly a favor for her.

And as long as you don't
up them prices until tomorrow.

Alright, you got
yourself a deal.

Good, good.

Wait a minute, wait a minute.

Say, uh, since I don't wanna be
under no obligation to no Dukes

uh, Daisy, why don't you make a
sandwich for them. On the house.

Sure thing, Boss.

Free lunch at the Boar's Nest?

Well, wonders never cease.

'Goody, goody.'

'Good.'

Oop.

Goody good. Ooh.

Eeek.

- Here you go, fellas.
- Thanks, Daisy.

We'll eat these on the way.

No, no, you don't.
No, no. Not just yet.

On account of..

- You ain't sampled the soup.
- Boss, we don't have any soup.

Then make some.

Did it.

Right after you get back from
Chickasaw. Go on. On your way.

I knew it was too good to last.

Hrmph.

Hey, sheriff.

What, Da...
what-what is that for?

Somebody's gotta
finish washing the dishes.

Dishes?

I have to do dishes?

Now, Boss'
calling Sheriff Little

was phase two of his operation

to get the Dukes out of the way.

Seems simple, don't it?

Hello, Sheriff Little. This is
J.D. Hogg of Hazzard County.

How you doing?

How's every little thing
in Chickasaw County?

Nice, quiet and peaceful.
And I aim to keep it that way.

I hate to ruin your day,
but I think you ought to know

that there's a couple of
criminals headed your way.

Make that three desperate
criminals headed your way.

You see, I have these
diamond cufflinks.

Been in my family
for generations.

Worth a fortune. Priceless.

While the boys and Daisy
were heading for trouble

in a Chickasaw frame-up

ol' Boss was fixing to take a
plunge in the money market

for stolen money.

- Two face masks.
- Two face masks.

- Two face masks.
- Yeah, there you go.

- Two weight belts.
- Two weight belts.

- Two weight belts.
- There.

- Two wet suits.
- Yep.

- Two wet suits.
- Two wet suits.

Yeah.

- And two oxygen tanks outside.
- Two oxygen tanks outside.

Two oxygen tanks out...
uh, speaking of oxygen

I could use a little bit.

Well, you can't afford
it. So just breathe the air.

- Now, put all this on my tab.
- Okay.

Put that on his tab.

Let's go. Let's get out.

That goes on his
tab. Hey, watch it.

'Alright.'

- Two tanks.
- Two tanks.

Let me give you a
hand with the load.

Rosco, get out of there.
You can't ride in the trunk.

You gotta drive me. Don't
you know that? Come on.

By this time, the boys and Daisy

were in the outskirts
of Chickasaw City

while over at Soggy Marsh

ol' Boss was getting
heavy into water sports.

Why, Boss is downright nautical.

That's it, alright.
Pull up in here.

That's the idea. Alright,
drop anchor. Drop anchor.

Yeah, that's it, boys. He he he.

- Rosco.
- What?

- Can you smell it? Can you?
- Yeah.

You know, they ought to
give that catfish a decent burial.

Huh? No!

I'm talking about the
sweet aroma of money.

Oh, money. Oh, money.

Yeah, according to this map..

If that half a million
simoleons was fish

they'd be jumping into
this boat this very minute.

Oh, Rosco, my fortune
is made. He he he.

- Back in a minute.
- Alright, darling.

Hi.

I'm here to pick up
some menus for..

Ol' Boss' phase two
was working good.

The Dukes were out of the way.

Don't tell me the menus
won't be ready till tomorrow?

No, the menus
won't be ready ever.

- Boss never ordered 'em.
- That don't make sense.

Why would Boss wanna
send us on a wild goose chase?

Daisy Duke, I thought you
had more sense than to show up

in Chickasaw with them two.

Sheriff, I'd love to argue
with you, but I gotta get going.

No. Maybe not.

See, I got me a warrant
to search the General Lee.

sh**t, sheriff. You don't
need a warrant to do that.

Be our guest, we ain't
got nothing to hide.

Yeah, we'll just see about that.

Mmm. So y'all still think you
ain't got nothing to hide, huh?

I've never seen those
cufflinks in my life.

Funny. That's just what
Boss Hogg said you'd say.

Boss. We should've
known he was behind this.

Go!

You ought not have
done that, Daisy Duke.

Ain't no way they're
gonna get away.

I'll deal with you later.

Get on it. We ain't
dealing with Rosco.

'This here's Sheriff Little.
He's something else.'

Friends, looks like they're
being chased by the first team.

Hang on.

Sure hope Sheriff
Little never gets elected

sheriff of Hazzard, don't you?

Well, General Lee sure
picked a fine time to cut out.

Uh-oh, I sure wish
Sheriff Little would.

Make yourselves at home, boys.

You have one phone call
between the three of you.

Come on now, sheriff. Why
don't you give us a break.

You know we
don't belong in here.

But we can guess why
Boss Hogg framed us.

We might have to
talk to a dozen people.

As long as you can do
it all in one phone call.

Well, I'll phone
Uncle Jesse, huh?

Uh, in case you're gonna knock
something else outta my hand

I'll put in the quarter.

Yes, sir.

Hello, operator?

Would you give me
Hazzard , please?

Alright, will you just
answer that while I think?

- Well, I'm thinking too.
- Go ahead.

Good grief.

Boss Hogg's Soggy
Marsh temporary office

'Rosco P. Coltrane speaking.'

'Oh, hello.'

- Bessie Lou wants to talk.
- 'Oh, Bessie Lou.'

Just the call I've
been waiting for.

- Say hello from Rosco.
- You talked to her, didn't you?

- Oh, well..
- This is J.D. Hogg, Bessie Lou.

Uh, uh, no, I didn't
change my mind none.

No, no. Do just like I told you.

You just patch me
right into the line

before you put that call
through to Jesse Duke. Yeah.

- Hello?
- Uncle Jesse.

Where have you been? The
boys left two hours ago to pick you.

I know. Well, it's a
long story, Uncle Jesse.

But we're in the
Chickasaw County jail

'and Sheriff Little thinks that
we stole Boss Hogg's cufflinks.'

Which we didn't. Boss framed us.

'He sent me and the boys to
pick up menus for Boar's Nest.'

'And now we're under arrest
for stealing his cufflinks.'

'Sheriff Little found
them in the glovebox.'

Sheriff Little's too
smart to believe

'a trumped-up charge like that.'

I know, but he's got too
much evidence not to hold us.

We'll just see about
that when I get there

and I'm leaving right now.

Yeah, that'd have to do it.

- It worked.
- Oh, good.

Sheriff Little has got Coy and
Vance Duke in the calaboose.

- Oh, good news, good news.
- Daisy's in the next cell.

Oh, that's even better news.

Alright, come on, let's
get out on the marsh

and see how that scuba
diving's going along.

- Wait a minute. It's my move.
- We'll finish it later.

- Alright.
- Yeah. Come on. We gotta go.

When will that Rosco learn
that I don't have to see money

to know where it is. Ha ha ha.

Meanwhiles, Jesse was
headed full out to Chickasaw jail

while Boss was headed for
the middle of Soggy Marsh.

- Alright.
- Let's get going.

- Get in there.
- Let's see how they're doin'.

Whilst Boss' minions was
wasting no time searching

the intrepid Deputy
Strate was painting himself

into a corner.

Which accounted for
everybody who was anybody

who mattered to
somebody somewhere.

Dang it!

They ain't done yet!

You ought to watch
where you're going now.

What do you mean
you'll show me the way?

I've been going
in and out this jail...

- Uncle Jesse.
- Here you are.

How long will it
take to bail us out?

Well, uh, too long.

Sheriff Little tells me that the
judge has gotta set the bail.

And he ain't due
for another five days.

Boss really framed us
good. I'd like to know why.

We're Dukes. Isn't that
enough for that character?

Maybe J.D. didn't wanna
get rid of you for good.

Maybe he wanted you outta
the way for a couple days.

We ain't the only ones.

He's got Enos somewhere in
the boonies painting divider lines.

- That's right.
- I think you boys are right.

J.D. must've something awful
big going on in Hazzard real soon.

If we're gonna find what it
is and prove we were framed

we ain't got time to wait for
any judge to turn us loose.

What have you
got up your sleeve?

- Hey, Boss?
- Yeah.

- I don't see a pea-picking...
- What?

- I said...
- Take the mask off, will you?

I said I can't see a
pea-picking thing down there.

You don't think those fellas
took our money and skedaddled?

Well, listen, you can't
skedaddle in the water

balancing a -pound strongbox
on your belly, now can you?

- No.
- They'd have to bring it back.

- Oh, that's right.
- That's right.

Now, listen, you just
make like a doughnut

and start dunkin' once more.

- Alright.
- See if you can spot 'em.

There's a sea
monster. I'll save you.

Rosco, it ain't no sea monster.

Take off that thing.
They're on our side.

- It's just lucky for you.
- Boys, any luck down there?

Well, according to the map,
this is the exact location.

I reckon we're gonna have to
move the boat and try again.

If you don't find it that
time, move the boat again.

And if you don't find
it, keep on moving it.

- Keep on.
- Until you find my money.

Wait a minute. You mean
our money, don't you?

Oh, I'm sorry. That was
just a slip of the wallet.

Uh, I mean the tongue.

Alright, what are you
waiting for? Go on. Get going.

And you, just hush
up with them remarks..

And get this thing
started, will ya?

- We gotta get outta here.
- Just don't worry about it.

Just get back..

Little fat buddy.

- Oh, you got a sucker.
- Rosco, you..

Look, what I, here, take this.

While Boss was treading
water, Daisy and the boys

were marking time, uh,
in a manner of speaking.

Come and get it, Daisy.

Sugar, would you
mind bringin' it in?

I broke this little thing here.

I suppose I could make
an exception just this once.

Aren't you sweet?

- Well, here you go.
- Thank you.

- Hey, what? Let go.
- I'm sorry about this.

Oh, come on, fellas.
Sheriff Little's gonna be mad.

- I know, I'm sorry. Bye-bye.
- Let's go.

Friends, that is
my kind of woman.

Get ready, Uncle Jesse.

Yeah.

'We're sure lucky
Sheriff Little didn't stop'

to look for the other
key before he ran us in.

I guess he didn't figure
we were going anywhere.

Well, I guess he doesn't
know us too well, does he?

We're about to
see an interesting

experiment in physics.

The one about the irresistible
force and the immovable object.

And somebody better duck.

They better hope Sheriff
Little don't catch 'em

'cause they won't go to jail.

They'll be barbecued. Slow.

Whoo-hoo! Looks
like he fell for it.

By the time he
realizes we ain't in front

we'll be halfway back
to see what Boss is up to.

You don't expect him to
come out and tell us, do you?

He's got so many chubby
little fingers in the pie

he's gotta keep a record.

And the only place to
keep a record is in the office.

A-a-achoo!

Oh, my. Oh, my. You get
my hair real dry, sugar pie.

I just hope we nip
this cold in the bud.

Rosco, I don't wanna catch
pneumonia and pass on.

Just as we're about to get our
hands on half a million dollars.

Oh, no. That would
be horrendous.

Listen, little fat buddy, in
case you happen to pass on

maybe you could sign over
your shares to me, just in case.

Would you answer the phone?

Forget all about
shares and such like.

Boss Hogg's office. Sheriff
Rosco P. Coltrane here.

Who? Oh, uh, ahem.

- Uh, Boss, it's Sheriff Little.
- Sheriff Little?

- Yeah, it's for you.
- Oh, for me?

He probably wants to
thank me for tipping him off

to them desperate criminals.
Give me the phone, will you?

Hello, Sheriff Little, this is
J.D. Hogg. Oh, God, will you...

Turn it around.

J.D. Hogg here.
What can I do for you?

Them Dukes, they busted
out about half hour ago.

I lost 'em, but they must be
on their way back to Hazzard.

- I'm coming after 'em.
- No, don't do that!

It'd spoil everything. I mean,
you don't have to bother.

'You just go on back
to Chickasaw County'

I'll have my sheriff,
Rosco, catch 'em.

Oh, that's telling him,
chubby little buddy.

I wouldn't trust Rosco
to catch chickenpox.

'Officially, I'm just
advising you of the situation'

but I'm still keeping
on their tails.

- Sheriff Little? Hello?
- What'd he say?

- He hung up.
- Oh, see what a sneak he is.

Rosco!

I'm sorry there. Raise
your fat little jowl.

- Hang up on me, will he?
- Yeah.

Rosco, we gotta do something.

Oh, I know. Let's call him
back and reverse the charges.

What? No, I mean
about the Duke boys.

We gotta see that they don't
get nowheres near Soggy Marsh.

Even if we have to call
out the Hazzard irregulars.

Well, we can call out
Enos, he's irregular.

Huh? Oh, yeah. Good idea.
Let's get Enos on the CB.

Excuse me just a
minute, sugar pie.

Go on, get him. Quick. Will you?

Ooh. Sugar pie, here's $ .

Ten for drying my hair so good.

And the rest for not
telling nobody nothing

about what you hear
in this here room.

Enos, this is your
superior officer

Rosco P. Coltrane
speaking, come back.

'Enos, you better
be listening, dipstick.'

Yes, sir, sheriff,
what can I do for you?

Listen, I want you back
here at Boss' office right away.

I mean drop anything
you're doing right now.

Enos, get back
here on the double.

Sheriff..

- Sheriff, wait a minute.
- I'm gone.

You didn't tell me
what office, sheriff.

Oh, shucks.

Daisy, who can drive
my wheels anytime

was gettin' set to turn
General Lee into a getaway car

in case somebody
spotted Coy and Vance

dropping through the
skylight into Boss' office.

You take the file
cabinet. I'll take the desk.

I'd feel better if I knew
what we're looking for.

Look for names, dates, places.

Anything that's out of
the ordinary and crooked.

Everything Boss does is out
of the ordinary and crooked.

Ol' Enos was getting to
town as fast as he could.

And Pruitt and Gregory
were slogging around the bog

and a lot closer to the
money than they knew.

In fact, the only ones
not getting anywhere

was Coy and Vance.

But things are about to change.

Hey, Coy, I think we got
somethin' here. Take a look.

- Wouldn't know it.
- 'Where's my key at? Mr. Hogg.'

Mr. Hogg? I come as quick as
I could, Mr. Hogg. You in here?

Hey, come on.

Hey, Coy, Vance. I'm gonna
tell Uncle Jesse on y'all.

Don't you let him
catch you, sugar.

Don't you worry.
Hang on, fellas.

Uh-oh.

Right in the old
Hazzard car wash.

'Hey, hang on..'

Oh.

Oh, he's okay.

Not only that, looks like he
found himself a little friend.

While he and that
duck get acquainted

we're gonna check what
I found on Boss' calendar.

- Okay.
- Come on, let's go.

Hey, buddy.

Since Rhuebottom was
the only native in Hazzard

who could even spell "scuba"

the boys went to him to see
if he could tell 'em anything.

Two wet suits, two face
masks, two oxygen tanks

and two sets of flippers.

Since when do Boss
and Rosco scuba dive?

Them wet suits wouldn't
have fit neither one of them.

- Must be for them other fellas.
- What other fellas?

Well, I wasn't paying
much attention to it

but they was both
big and mean looking.

They took the stuff,
drove off in a black sedan

about four-five years old.

Thanks a lot. You've
been a big help.

Anytime, boys.

Just as long as you
don't mention it to Boss.

We won't as long as you don't
tell Sheriff Little you seen us.

Hey, fellas, did you
find anything out?

After what they found
out from Mr. Rhuebottom

Daisy and the boys figured
that they's gonna need a little help

to fill in the missing pieces.

So they CB'd Uncle Jesse
to meet him and find out

if the names Pruitt or Kingston
found on Boss' calendar

meant anything to him.

Kingston.

'Kingston.'

Yeah, they arrested
a fella in Hazzard

about years ago by that name.

It seems he robbed a
bank. Oh, it was a big story.

He took about $ , and
they never found one red cent of it.

Looks like Boss could
be after that money.

We still don't know
where it is though.

Depends on where they
caught that Kingston dude.

Oh, I know that. They
caught him at a roadblock.

He was back goin' up on .

It seems that he hid
out in this fella's truck.

The fella didn't know
when he got in there

but they set up the roadblock
on right along here

just below the Chickasaw
County line. Right in there.

The money's gotta be stashed
anywhere beyond that point.

Anywhere like
along this road there.

Anywhere with water deep
enough to make you have to dive.

So all the Dukes spread
out to check every wet spot

in Hazzard deep enough to dive.

And maybe they'd
get lucky enough

to meet two
gentlemen in wet suits.

Meanwhile, them crooks
kept looking for that $ , .

And Boss was manfully struggling

to overcome an
att*ck of the vapors.

Well, so far the Dukes
ain't even in the ball game.

The boys struck out
at Running Spring.

Jesse couldn't even get to
first base at Hazzard Pond.

And Daisy chalked up a
goose egg along Hazzard Lake.

She still had a couple
more times of bad company.

Little more, sheriff!

In fact, the only one who
did score was Sheriff Little.

He landed Enos while he
was looking for the Dukes.

Come on, Enos. Let's go!

Okay.

My battery's gone d*ed, sheriff.

Just when it looked like the
Dukes is gonna be shut out

Daisy hit a home
run at Soggy Marsh.

If I'd have known it was gonna
be this easy to find the box..

I'd have never cut
Hogg in on the deal.

Still ain't too late
to cut him out.

I've been thinking
the same thing.

'Lost Sheep, it's Bo
Peep, come back.'

Lost Sheep to Bo
Peep, what you got?

Oh, Vance, I think it's
the whole ball of wax.

There's a couple of fellas here
scuba diving at Soggy Marsh

where the old dock
and the shack are.

'They just pulled this big
metal box out of the water.'

A box? A box. A box. A box.

Oh, they found it.
They found the money!

- The money!
- Oh, goody, goody gumdrops.

They're headed
straight back here.

I'll have to back off and
keep an eye on 'em, fellas.

Just make sure
they don't spot you.

We'll be there as
fast as we can make it.

I'm gonna be right
with 'em, Daisy.

Now, when you say you're
gonna stay back, stay back.

'Sounds like Daisy's
in trouble, sheriff.'

We're a long ways
from Soggy Marsh.

Just point the way.

Straight ahead, sheriff.
You're doing fine.

Hey Boss, listen, let
me ask you something.

- Why didn't they tell us?
- Well, because they..

Because them dirty, low-down,
double-crossing snakes

are taking the
money for themselves.

That's why. Alright,
we gotta stop them.

- Come on, let's go.
- Let's go.

- Boss, Boss!
- What? What? What?

Get back in here.
You can't get out there.

- You got no clothes on.
- Huh? Oh!

Thank you. Alright.
Alright. Here.

I'll dress in the car.

Oh, she, uh, alright.

Uh, sweetie pie. Sweetie pie.

Remember monkey hear,
monkey see, but monkey don't talk.

This monkey's been paid off.

And that money went
right into her college fund.

If she keeps this
up, she's gonna have

quite an educational endowment.

I got a sinkin' feeling Daisy
ain't gonna mind Uncle Jesse.

You see anything interesting?

What kind of fella could see
a woman who looks like that

and that's all he
could think of to say.

He must be a city boy.

Put me... leave me
alone. Leave me alone.

Put me down.

Put me down, you clod.

Put me down. Alright.

I'm not going anywhere, alright?

Alright now, come
on. Come on, now.

If I was you, I'd
just settle down

and go along with the
program. Come on, now.

'Right.'

Have you seen enough
to satisfy yourself?

I've seen enough to
know you're going to jail

if you don't turn
that stolen money in.

Sorry. Neither one of them
choices figures into our plans.

Tie her up till we figure out
what we're gonna do with her.

Come on.

I want y'all to know that
there's people following me.

Y'all ain't gonna
get away with this.

Hang on.

'Yee-haw!'

That's a shortcut.

While General Lee was
flying to Daisy's rescue..

And with Jesse and the
rest of the troops behind him..

Boss and Rosco was
somewhere in the middle.

That'll hold her.

By the time they find
her, we'll be long gone.

I'm gonna get the boat started.

A car just pulled up. Must
have come after the girl.

I told y'all you weren't
gonna get away with this.

They'll keep you in Hazzard
for the rest of your life in jail.

You can tell that to the marines
'cause we got us a hostage.

You just grab her. Take her
down to the boat and I'll cover you.

- Help! Help!
- Oh, shut up, will you.

Help! Help!

Help!

- They got Daisy.
- They got Daisy? What happened?

You stay with the General.
Follow along the shore.

Come on, Uncle Jesse.

They took her away in some
sort of airboat. We gotta catch 'em.

He went off thataway.

Get aboard.

They're headed right
for that marsh over there.

I bet they got a car stashed
on the dry land behind it.

You stay with us in
case we need you.

I'm right with you, Uncle Jesse.

Oh, that's Little. Get rid of
him. Don't let him get past us.

- You okay, sheriff?
- Don't you worry about me.

You worry about
Rosco when I catch him.

Aw, I ain't worried
about ol' Rosco.

Can't nothin' can catch
him, if he's scared enough.

And he will be.

Pruitt, they're gaining on us.

Well, not for long, they ain't.

Looks like they're
homing in on us.

One sh*t into this t*nk,
and we're up in the air.

'Hey, Boss, look
there. There they are.'

Now, we can arrest those
Duke boys for grand theft airboat.

Oh, will you just forget
about them Dukes.

Them crooks are getting away
with my half a million dollars.

Go after them, will ya?

I'll never be able to swim
that fast to catch them.

Yeah, well you
don't think fast either.

I meant to follow them around
the marsh to the other side.

Don't come too close.
They got Daisy, remember?

Come on, Uncle Jesse.

Looks like they're fresh
out of arrows, Pruitt.

Yeah? Well, I got enough
b*ll*ts to take care of that.

Oh!

Get back in that seat.

What are you doing to me? Huh?

What are you doing here anyway?

- Speed this sucker up.
- I'm going as fast as I can.

Let's see if we
can get in the lake.

Why don't you try this?

I don't wanna do anything
I wanna get outta here.

Now, speed it up.

They're headed for the
open water. I can't keep up.

If they make it,
we'll never catch 'em.

We got to. They got Daisy.

Coy, I can't keep up with them.
It's up to you and the General.

- You think you can stop 'em?
- We sure are gonna try.

- Grab a hold, Daisy.
- Yeah.

- You alright?
- Yeah. I'm fine.

Just sit down here.

'Stop here. Take that strong
box, it's down the shore.'

Oh.

And that's how the
Dukes finally recovered

the treasure of Soggy Marsh.

And turned it over
to the Atlanta bank

it was took from years ago.

Pruitt went back to prison
with a brand new cellmate.

And Cooter fixed
up the General Lee

and brought him
home nice and dry.

Although he coughed
a little for a few days.

Which sort of explains why
most folks don't leave Hazzard.

No matter how slow
the day starts out..

You never know
what it's gonna bring.

Thank you, Boss.
