You there.

- I'’m Jessie.

Jessie, your sister.

- [scoffs] Okay, sure.

You guys bought that?

- She was really convincing.

I mean, she already knew about magic and everything.

She really could be our--

- Yeah!

That'’s what I'’m talking about!

Teach me to do that.

- Was pretty impressive, wasn'’t it?

No! No, I'’m not going to teach you

because you'’re not my sister.

- Yes, I am.

Is this some kind of practical joke?

Are there cameras around here

because--

because I'’m not falling for it!

- Why can'’t you just believe this?

I believed it when I found out about you.

- [sighs]

- Whoa, cool!

Can you teach me this, too?

- No.

- Do it again.

This time make me fly.

- [sighing]

And don'’t come back,

or I'’ll turn you into a caterpillar.

Not a cute one either.

A big, fat, hairy, ugly one.

- Maybe now you'’ll believe me?

- No biggie?!

What if he remembered something in that half-hour

and now he'’s forgotten it?

I really was.

But we just have to be careful.

Don'’t you think I want to remember?

If I don'’t, it'’s my family that'’s gonna disappear forever.

- Can I go home yet?

- No. I'’m keeping my eye on you until I figure you out.

- You might as well just teach me some spells.

- No.

Definitely not in public.

- Who cares?

Don'’t you want people to know you'’re a wizard?

- Shh! No.

You see, humans can'’t know about the magic realm because...

Well, it'’s complicated.

- Then explain it to me.

- No, Jessie.

Look, I missed practice this morning and I need to train.

And I still need to look after you, so--

- Uh, hey, Jax, why were...

Uh, who is... your friend?

- She'’s not my friend, she'’s my sister, maybe.

- You have a maybe sister?

Since when?

- Since I was five, apparently. [chuckles]

- Is she a... you know?

- A witch?

Yes, I am.

I know it.

- It'’s not clear yet.

- How about you? Are you a witch too?

- Oh, no, but I'’m a guardian.

Well, I will be soon.

- Hey, have you seen Emma today?

- What'’s a guardian?

- Oh, it'’s a witch without powers.

They look after other witches.

- But you said you weren'’t a witch.

- I'’m not.

I am the first human guardian. Hmm.

- Oh. That'’s even lamer than a witch without powers.

- [laughs] - [gasps]

- Emma. Have you seen her?

- Yeah, she'’s with Daniel.

She'’s showing him around,

trying to get him to remember.

- Who'’s Emma? [gasps]

Is she your girlfriend?

For how long? Is she a witch too?

- You have reached your daily question limit.

Sorry.

Hey, Andi.

How would you like to help the Sharks win nationals?

- Um, obvi'’!

- Great!

Watch Jessie for me while I train.

- What? No! - No!

- I am not a babysitter.

- And I'’m not a baby!

Why do you need to swim laps?

You'’re a wizard.

Can'’t you just use magic to swim fast?

- I don'’t do that...

anymore.

Look, Andi, please, it'’s for the Sharks.

- Well...

if it'’s for the team.

- [chuckles]

Thanks, Andi.

You'’re a lifesaver.

- Yeah, just cut the brown-nosing and go...

do your laps.

- You know you can'’t keep me here.

- Never say "can'’t" to a Cruz.

- Put me down!

- Whoa, what'’s that?

- Oh... - Huh?

Oh, can'’t see you.

Where'’d you go?

Nope! [laughs]

- This is where you worked last summer.

Anything?

At the end-of-the-summer beach party,

you performed on a stage right here.

- I performed?

- You'’re an amazing singer and guitar player.

You write your own songs too.

Really good ones.

- Tell me more about this rock star then.

I think I like him.

- Why don'’t you see for yourself?

Give it a try.

- Okay, why not?

[playing badly]

Sorry.

So that Daniel can play.

Did he get, like, standing ovations and three encores?

- Not quite.

You were dancing on stage with Mia

and somebody turned on the sprinklers.

We thought it was a-- - Mia was there too?

- Sure was.

- This is all too much.

Why was...why was I dancing with Mia?

I thought you were my girlfriend

in this other reality.

- It'’s...complicated.

And not important right now.

Let'’s keep moving.

- Don'’t tell me.

This was our special spot

where we'’d meet in secret and no one would know.

- You remember!

Then how did you...

- It'’s kind of obvious.

It'’s peaceful, beautiful, romantic.

- [sighs]

- Can I ask you a question?

What happened between us?

You make it sound like whatever we had

was pretty special.

But now you'’re with Jax.

Why did we break up?

- You, um...you weren'’t really into me anymore.

We broke up and I moved on.

Sorry about that.

It'’s okay.

Things happen.

So, what'’s next?

I don'’t know!

I was sure stuff would start to come back by now.

[gasps]

- Maybe we should take a look at him.

- Go!

- Hey!

[electronic beeping]

- Where am I?

Who are you and where'’s Emma?

- I'’m getting a m-squared of . delta.

- Oh! , mandalars! - Oh!

- Do you mind?!

- Well, we could ask you the same question.

- We have reason to believe

that it was you that caused the continuum break.

- I know! I'’m trying to fix it!

And you'’re getting in the way.

- We'’re not getting in the way.

We'’re taking readings.

There'’s only been one other break in recorded history,

and this data could prove to be quite useful.

- If it doesn'’t destroy the world.

You know what?

I tried.

But this is too much.

I'’m sorry...

but I'’m gonna take my snake and I'’m gonna go.

- No...

Daniel, wait!

[frustrated sigh]

- Where'’s Jessie?

JESSIE: Jax, is that you? Help!

- Wait, where are you? - I'’m right here!

[tapping] Help!

- Oh, no.

She didn'’t...

like, turn herself invisible, did she?

She hasn'’t got powers yet.

She got her powers

and then she turned herself invisible, didn'’t she?

- Guess again.

[creaking]

- [chuckling]

- You'’ll pay for this, Andi Cruz, you hear me?

You can'’t hide from me.

- You taped my sister to the inside of a door?

- Us humans have our tricks to get to people too.

Bye, Jessie. Nice meeting you.

- [laughs]

[tape ripping] Ah...

Emma!

You got your full powers back.

Good on ya.

- Yeah.

Some things never change.

- I got you.

- [sighs]

- So this is Emma?

She is your girlfriend.

I can tell by the way you look at her.

- Emma, this little ball of charm is Jessie...

my alleged sister.

- Your sister?!

- Yup, recently discovered.

- Oh, what?

I mean, nice to meet you!

But what?

- She claims to have been living in a foster home when Mom d*ed

and now she wants to live with Dad and I

so that we can be a family again.

- Really?

That sounds great!

- [chuckling] Yeah...yeah, it'’s...

It'’s not great.

My dad'’s been planning something

and he has no idea about Jessie.

I have a feeling that if he finds out about her,

things are gonna get a lot worse.

- Okay...

But wow, you have a sister?!

- Yeah, looks that way.

How'’s Gator Boy?

- [sighs] Not good.

He says he and Billy are going home.

- Well, maybe it'’s meant to be.

But I'’m surprised.

Why are you giving up?

- No way!

Billy is in Andi'’s locker

and he doesn'’t know the combination.

Daniel will never leave without him.

[grunting]

- I hate Miami!

Back home, we don'’t even lock our doors.

I'’m coming, Billy.

We'’re going back where we belong.

There you are. Could you open this thing?

Billy'’s probably freezing in there.

- Sure!

But I want you to reconsider staying.

- I don'’t know.

I get that it'’s a risk if I leave, but...

this whole thing is getting out of hand.
