woman: ♪ Use super tools
to save the day? ♪

- ♪ Like AJ Gadgets,
I'm on my way! ♪

both:
♪ How do they save the day? ♪

all: ♪ Well,
the scientific fact is ♪

♪ They use
all kinds of powers ♪

♪ They just need
a little more ♪

man: Practice!

both: ♪ If you're a future
hero, come and you will see ♪

♪ We all belong

MR. SPARKS: Heroes.
They can be larger than life.

But even the smallest
of heroes gets excited

for the year's biggest
Hero event...

- The Heroes Parade!
It's finally today!

- Ooh, I can't wait to see
all the hero floats.

- And see all
the hero balloons.

- And hear
the hero marching band.

- Yes, a hero parade
in the park.

It's the perfect field trip
for young heroes in training.

- Let's hurry.

I want to get there early
to watch them

blow up the parade balloons.

- Sí, vámonos!

- Yeah!
So many heroes!

- Come on!
Let's go!

-To the parade!

MR. SPARKS: At the park,
excitement was in the air.

And so were the hero balloons!

- Wow!
- Amazing!

- Whoa!
- So cool!

- Wow.

These are some of
the biggest heroes there are!

- [chuckles]
They're big, all right.

- Huh? I just mean,
I really look up to them.

Look up!
Oh yeah, good one, AJ!

- Uh. Come again?
- Hey, look!

It's Branch Man,
defender of the forest.

♪ ♪

- Hey! There's my favorite!
Athletica!

Ha-ha!

- And look!
a Jetman Jones balloon!

He's one
of my all-time favorites.

Look! I even have
my Jetman Jones scarf!

Da-Dada-da!

- You look just like him, AJ.

- Let's take a picture.

Everyone together.
Big smiles.

Say: "Heroes."

all kids: Heroes!

[squeaking]

[laughter]

- Hey, watch out!

- Uh-oh.
kids: Huh?

LUCITA: Oh-no!
The balloons bumped!

[suspenseful music]

- [gasps]

Jetman Jones is moving,
and he's not tied to anything!

LUCITA: Oh, no!

SARA:
It's heading out of the park!

AJ: But they need that balloon
for the parade.

- We have to do something.

- Well, who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all:
Sparks Crew to the rescue!

MR. SPARKS: In City Town,
people are used to seeing

big heroes,
but not this big.

- There it is.

- We need to get the balloon
back to the park

in time for the parade.

- I'll just use my super
strength to pull it down.

It'll be a snap.

[upbeat music]

Oh, there you are.

Gotcha!

Uh-oh.

I can't pull it down
by myself.

[grunts, yells]

Now it's pulling me!

[all gasp]

- Fear not.
I shall help you.

♪ ♪

Uh-oh.
[yelps]

I did not think this through.

- Hang on!
I'm coming!

[strains]

[suspenseful music]

- [gasps]
Now it's pulling all of us!

AJ!

- I think we need
some gadget power.

- Is there anything you
can do?

- I'll use my Arm-o-matic.

[grunts]
Gotcha.

Now to pull you in.

Whoa!

- It wasn't supposed
to pull me in!

Whoa!
[grunts]

- How do we stop this thing?

- AJ, Look out!

- [grunts]

[sighs]

Uh-oh.

The ground's
a lot further down now.

- Uh, team?
Little problem.

I don't think
I can hold on much longer.

[all yelling]

- Bubble up!

[all yelling]

[upbeat music]

- Yippie!

♪ ♪

[laughter]

- Look.
There it is.

How are we going
to get that balloon?

- It looks like it's going
to hit the clock tower.

That ought to make it stop.

- Whoa!
The tower didn't stop it!

- Yeah.

The balloon
just bumped into it

and started going
in another direction!

- Come on!

[heroic music]

♪ ♪

AJ: Look!

It bounced off another building
and changed direction again.

- And it's got a pizza!

- Incoming pizza delivery!

[suspenseful music]

all: Sara!

♪ ♪

- [grunts]

[heroic music]

♪ ♪

- We have to figure out a way
to get that balloon.

- Maybe we should use our...

all:
Superpowers of Science!

- Let's start by making sense
of all the information

we have so far.

- Well, we know it's really
hard to stop that balloon.

- Yeah, and we know that
when the balloon bumps

into something,

it bounces off and goes in
another direction.

See?

AJ: Kind of like we did,

when we were in
Benny's bubbles.

Thought projecting.

Remember?

We kept bumping into things,
and changing direction too.

It's a pattern.

- Hmm, I wish we could make
the balloon change direction

back toward the park.

AJ: Maybe we can.

Remember how
the Athletica balloon

bumped into Jetman Jones?

LUCITA:
It made the Jetman balloon

move away from the park.

- So maybe, if we bump
the Jetman balloon,

we can make it move back
toward the park.

- Yeah, and get it back,
in time for the parade!

- Oh, great idea.

And I know just what
to bump it with.

If I throw this ball
super hard,

maybe it will bump the balloon
back toward the park.

[grunts]

Uh-oh.

- Sara, are you okay?

- Yeah.

I guess a ball's not gonna
do it.

- But maybe it takes
a hero to bump a hero.

We could bump
the balloon ourselves.

- Good idea.

But we have to figure out
which direction

to bump it in.

Let's make a plan.
The balloon is there...

And the park is that way...

- So, maybe if we bump
the balloon in the front,

it will change direction
and head back to the park.

- Right.
- Sounds like a good plan.

- Come on, Sparks Crew!

Let's bump this balloon
back to the park!

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

- Oh!

- Benny!

- Whoa!

- Gotcha.
- Thanks, Sara.

- Maybe we need
to work together.

- Yes.
Let's go.

♪ ♪

[both yell]

- [sighs]
What are we gonna do?

The Heroes Parade
will be ruined

if we can't get the balloon
back to the park in time.

- Don't worry,
we'll figure this out.

Let's think about all
the information we have now.

- Okay.
Thought projecting.

- We know that we can't stop
the balloon by pulling it...

AJ: Mm-hmm.

- Yeah, and we can't make it
move by bumping into it.

- Right.

- Ooh, but we do know that
some things make it move.

- Uh-huh.

SARA:
Like the Athletica balloon.

- Or a tall building.

Jetman Jones just bounces off
and moves in another direction.

- So, what if we bump
Jetman Jones

with something like a building,
or a parade balloon?

- But we don't have
any of those things.

- No,
but I could make something.

Like a big parade balloon
out of bubbles.

- It just might work.
Let's test it out.

- Okay, team,
we've got a new plan.

- Let's do this!

♪ ♪

- Look!
The park is that way.

We need to bump
the balloon straight on,

so it moves toward the park.

- All right, Jetman Jones,
prepare for a big bounce.

Bubble up!

- Whoa!

- I call him Bubble Man!

- Go Bubble Man, go!

Aye-aye-aye!

[all chittering]

- Look,
Jetman Jones changed direction!

- Look,
he's moving toward the park.

- Let's try to get there first.

♪ ♪

- Heads up, everyone.

Incoming!

- Good work.

- Everyone,
get ready to grab a rope!

all kids: Got it!

[upbeat music]

[all strain]

- We did it!

- Ha-ha!
- All right!

- Balloon saved!
- Whoo-hoo! Yes!

- Thank you.
Sparks Crew!

You saved the parade!

- Way to go, team!
- We did it!

- Hooray!
- All right!

[triumphant music]

MR. SPARKS:
So, remember.

Whenever things seem to be
getting away from you,

sometimes all
it takes is a bump

to turn things around.

[squeaking]

both singers: ♪ We all belong
in Hero Elementary ♪

MR. SPARKS: Heroes
are always ready to help,

to save the day,
to find what is lost,

or sometimes, just to give
the neighborhood dogs

a good wash!

- Good girl.
[laughs]

Oh, this shampoo makes
more bubbles than I do.

[squeaking]

- Looks like you're ready to
wash all the dogs in City Town.

- Yeah, I just hope some
show up for our dog wash.

- Good thing our school has
a superdog, so we can practice.

[dog barks]
- [laughs]

Okay, almost done, Spotnado.

Ready to rinse off the bubbles.

- Okay!

[upbeat music]

♪ ♪

Here comes the water!

[squeaking]

- I've got you Fur Blur.

Oh!

That's good, AJ.

- There you go,
ya little cutie.

Nice and clean.
[dog barks]

Time to dry off.
Ready with the towels?

AJ, SARA. LUCITA: Ready.

[laughter]

Good thing we were ready
for Spotnado to spin dry!

- [chuckles]
That was great practice.

I think Sparks Crew
is ready for the dog wash.

- Yeah, I can't wait for
our very first customer.

- Hi, there.
Can you wash my dog?

- Our very first customer!

- I'm Freddy.
And this is my dog, Houdini.

- Oh, no!

He slipped out
of his collar again!

- I'm sure he's around
here somewhere.

[suspenseful music]

- Luckily, there are heroes

- Let's start by getting
some information.

Freddy, what can you tell
us about Houdini?

- Um, I don't know.

- Well, what does he look like?

- Well, he's cute,
and really friendly.

Oh, and he has big ears.

- I'd better write that down.

[dog barks]

- Listen!
It must be Houdini!

- Fear not, Freddy.

We shall bring your doggie
back to you.

- Who's the crew
who knows what to do?

all:

[whistles]

[dog barks]

Cute, friendly, big ears.

Oh, this must be him!

[dog barks]

- Ugh, too loud!

we're playing a game.

- It isn't?

- But he's cute and friendly
and has big ears.

- But this dog has big,
sticky-up ears.

hangy-down ears.

- Oh.
Hangy-down ears.

- Well, if you're not Houdini,
then who are you?

Who are you, huh?

- [whistles]
Rollo! Here, boy!

- Oh. [giggles]
Bye, Rollo.

- Oh, where's my dog?

- We'll find him.

Is there any more information
you can tell us about him?

- Um, I don't know.

- Well,
what kind of fur does he have?

- It's fluffy and puffy.

- Mm-hmm.
Fluffy, puffy fur.

- And is there any place
Houdini likes to go?

- Uh, he likes
to chase squirrels

by the fountain at the park.

- Maybe he went there.
We should check.

- Bueno.
We'll stay here.

- Come on, team.
Let's go.

MR. SPARKS: So, my heroic
students went searching

for the lost dog.

But were they barking up
the wrong tree?

[heroic music]

[dog barks]

- Look!
Do you think that's Houdini?

- Well, I notice it has
big, hangy-down ears.

LUCITA: Oh, and fluffy fur.

- And look, Houdini loves
to chase squirrels.

- This has to be him!

[suspenseful music]

- Ah-ha!

- Nice catch, Sara.

- Aww, Houdini's so cute.

Wait till we tell Freddy!

- Great news.

- You found Houdini?

That's not Houdini.

- It's not?

- But--but he's got hangy-down
ears and fluffy, puffy fur.

- But that dog
has short little legs.

Houdini has long legs.

- Long legs.

- Mopsie!
There you are.

Oh!
Time to go.

- Aww!

- But where is Houdini?

- If anyone can find him,
it's my students.

- Is there any more
information you can tell us?

- Umm, I don't know.

- We know about Houdini's ears
and fur and legs.

What about his tail?
What's that like?

- Uh. Long.

Uh, and waggy.
And--and grey.

- Long, waggy, grey.

Wait, is just his tail grey?

- Hey, yeah.
What color is the rest of him?

- Houdini's all grey.

- Oh!
We're looking for a grey dog!

- Oh, and sometimes he plays
with sticks down by the river.

- That's really helpful
information, Freddy.

Come on, team.
To the river!

[heroic music]

- I hope Houdini
is around here somewhere.

- Look!
[dog pants]

- Do you think that's him?

- Could be, but we should
make sure this time.

- Let's compare this dog

we have about Houdini.

- Okay, we know that Houdini
is cute and friendly.

[dog pants, barks]

- Seems to be.

- And has big,
hangy-down ears.

[dog barks]
SARA: Yep.

AJ: Fluffy, puffy fur.

- Yep.

AJ: Long legs, long tail,
waggy tail.

- Yep, yep, yep!

- And is grey all over.

[all groan]

[dog barks]

- It can't be Houdini.
This dog isn't all grey.

- Well, if that's not Houdini,
then where could Houdini be?

- Huh? Wait a minute.
Look!

SARA: [gasps]
The dog was covered in mud.

BENNY: [chuckles]

And look it its legs!
Grey fur!

Houdini?
Oh, I think we found him!

- Go crew!
- Yes!

- We did it!
- Yeah, we did it!

[upbeat music]

Oh, no.

Houdini's having trouble
swimming back.

[suspenseful music]

- Gotcha!
Huh?

[dog barks]

- I'm coming, Houdini!

Bubble up!

Come on, Houdini!

Who's a good boy?

Yes, you are.

- We did it!
- Way to go, team!

- There's someone who will be
very happy to see you.

- [gasps]
Oh, Houdini!

[upbeat music]

- Houdini,
you're getting so clean!

Thanks for bringing him
back to me, Sparks Crew.

- Yeah, like I said, solving
problems is kinda our thing.

[dog barks]

- Can my dog get washed next?
- Then mine?

- More customers!
- Step right up, folks!

We wash all kinds of dogs.

Big dogs, small dogs,
short dogs, tall dogs,

cute dogs, not-so-cute dogs.

You name it, we wash it.

MR. SPARKS: And so my heroic
students saved the day,

the dog wash made
a big splash,

and everyone had
some good, clean fun.
