- (kids): Ten!

- I was close!
(kids cheering)

- ♪ They are two

♪ So I gotta sing two parts

- Woo! I'm out of here.

- (man): And now,
live from the White House,

the President
of the United States.

- My fellow citizens,

many of you have noticed
a strange shape in the sky.

As it gets larger,
it has caused some concern.

(crowd screaming)

The Vice President and I
are dealing with the situation,

with the help of our new
Directors of Problem Solving,

Peg and Cat.

This morning at o'clock,

I summoned Peg and Cat to
the White House, and told them

about the strange signals
coming from space.

- When the clock says nine zero
zero, the time is o'clock.

- At o'clock,
Peg and Cat informed me

that the signals were caused

by a planet-sized,
opera-singing pig.

- o'clock
is hour later than .

An hour is enough time
for a meal and a bath,

or a nice nap.

- At about that time,
the Pig began drifting back

towards Earth.
But by o'clock...

- Another hour later...

- ...Peg and Cat had designed
a model for a Pig Catcher.

When these paper weights
and pencils are replaced

by huge objects
of the same shape,

we'll have a sturdy structure
that can catch the Pig.

- Whew!
- I know, right?!

- As we speak, flyer Ramone
is coming up with a plan

for gathering the really big
pieces we need to assemble

the Pig Catcher and put
this really big problem to rest.

- [I'm doing what I can!]

- And that's everything that has
happened up to now, noon.

- o'clock
is also called noon.

After that, it's afternoon.

- To review...
- First!

- ♪♪ These signals came
from far, far away ♪

- Second!
- ♪ I called
Peg and Cat to save the day ♪

- That's right!
- Third!

- ♪ They said
a giant pig is dropping in ♪

- ♪ Word ♪
- Fourth!

- ♪ They designed this thing
for catching him ♪

- ♪ It's all about that shape
'bout that shape ♪

- ♪ No trouble
- It's all about that shape ♪

- ♪ That's the way
we do a puzzle ♪

- Fifth!
- ♪ Ramone is planning
where to get the stuff so big ♪

- Sixth!
- ♪ We'll build that thing ♪

- ♪ And then we'll
- Catch that pig ♪

- ♪ She really means it ♪

- ♪ We're gonna catch
that pig ♪♪

- ♪ That pig ♪♪
Ugh!

- My friends,

we didn't choose
to face this challenge,

but we can choose
HOW we'll face it:

with courage. Remember,
panic helps no one.

So don't panic.
(mob screaming in panic.)

- (mob, calmer): Ahhh...

- Thank you, all.

(newscast theme music)

- We were on national TV!
- We're so famous!

- And now we're gonna totally
save the world!

- There'll be
Peg and Cat parades!

- Peg and Cat songs!
- Peg and Cat toys! Finally.

- The President's really
worried. Take my place?

- Oh yeah!
- Dosey doh!

- Cool sphere you got there,
Madame President.

- My special globe.
- I have a special marble

I spin when I'm worried.

Up high... down low...

way to go!

- Spinning on three...

on two... on one...

'round the sun!

- I think your speech
calmed down

everybody in the whole country,
except you.

- Oh, Peg, I was elected

to serve a nation covered
with incredible mountains

and forests and skyscrapers.
I can't let them be flattened!

- We're gonna catch the Pig with
the Pig Catcher, right? So...

- But in my head,
I keep seeing this picture...

- The presidential pen!

It's like my twig, but fluffy!

- ♪♪ I see the city flattened ♪

♪ Nothing standing there ♪

♪ Length and width
just like before ♪

♪ But no height anywhere ♪

- ♪ Covered with colorful
flat shapes ♪

♪ Like a board for a game ♪

♪ The trees and the buildings
flattened like pancakes ♪

♪ Only pancakes are the same ♪

- But, Madame President,
look around!

♪ Those buildings
are standing solid ♪

♪ They've got height ♪

♪ They're so not flat ♪

♪ They're solid today
and solid they'll stay ♪

♪ Count on that ♪

- ♪ Where
the Washington Monument stood ♪

♪ I see a square
with triangle design ♪

- ♪ Give that square
some height ♪

♪ Stand the triangles up right ♪

♪ This obelisk is fine ♪

- ♪ Where the Capitol's
standing ♪

♪ There's a circle here ♪

- ♪ Let's see it like this,
a rectangular prism ♪

♪ The circle's a hemisphere ♪

- ♪ The White House,
a white rectangle ♪

♪ With circles
one two three and four ♪

- ♪ There's height
in the house ♪

♪ These circles
are solid cylinders ♪

♪ For sure ♪
- You're right!

- ♪ These buildings
are standing solid ♪

♪ They've got height ♪

- ♪ They're so not flat ♪

- ♪ They're solid today
- And solid they'll stay ♪

- ♪ Count on that ♪♪
- Woohoo!

- Thanks for helping me
relax, Peg.

- Gotta stay chill
no matter what, right?

- Even when a pig's about
to squash your country.

(ringing)

- That's Ramone!
- To the intelligence lab!

- And after heading to India for
four mountain-size cylinders...

we'll fly to China
for the world's largest bowl...

and then haul it all back
right here to Washington, DC.

- And how long
will all that take?

- If we work fast,
we'll make it

all the way around the world
in less than days.

(dramatic musical cue)
- But--

- You can get a lot
done in one day,

right, Madame President?
So in days...

- Who told you we have days?
- The Vice President said--

- I said minutes!
- Oh... Sorry!

- Minutes, days,
what's the diff?

It's so confusing, right?
- Yeah!

- A day is much longer
than an hour.

- One day has hours.

- A minute is much shorter
than an hour.

- One hour has minutes!

- We have our own way
of solving problems.

on our own.

- OK, so we've got minutes
to build the Pig Catcher.

- We HAD minutes, Peg,

back when it was
minutes after noon.

Now it's after.

And the Pig's landing at
after. So we've only got...

minutes till he lands.

- Can every president
do addition that fast?!

- You can use my phone

to call for help.
- And my clock.

And my clock watcher.
He's amazing at watching clock.

Everyone can help, right?
- ♪ And we got the model ♪

- ♪ Our pig catching puzzle ♪

We need to replace
the little pieces in our model

with super-big pieces
to catch that super-big pig.

Let's start at the bottom
with these pyramids.

- Hmm... What about
the pointy things in between?

- They're pyramids too,
upside down!

- Oh, nice!

- You got a friend
you can count on

for big pyramids, right?
- Totally!

- So that's one,
two, three, four...

(Egyptian music)
- Five pyramids?

Why do you need them, Peg?

- Peg: [So, Cleopatra, you heard
my speech on TV, right?]

- We don't have TV
in ancient Egypt.

Hold on. Epidermis!

Stop staring at those statues!

That stuff rots your brain!
Go get some exercise!

- (sad): Mrahahaaa...

- You were saying?
- [Any chance you could, um,]

[bring the pyramids to
Washington, DC, like, right...]

- We've never been

to Washington, DC, before.
This is very exciting!

- So how do these big boys go?

Our Pig Catcher's
bottom floor!

- We gotta pick up the pace.

(beeping)

(piano music playing)

(phone ringing)

- Peg: [Between your houses,]

- (German accent): You want
the biggest upright piano?

- You want
a great big hunk of cheese?!

- Who doesn't want
a great big hunk of cheese?

- Rectangular prism

Four!
(women grunting)

- The President
of the United States?!

(Ramone grunting)
- Ramone!

- The clock changed!
- It keeps doing that!

- (Peg): We're down
to minutes!

- So inside the walls,
we've got--

- Spheres!
(beeping)

♪♪♪

[We sure could use
your biggest bouncy ball.]

♪♪♪
[...your biggest meteor.]

[Does Harry the Panda Ball
have a really big brother?]

(victorious musical cues)

- I got this.
(upbeat whistling music)

- Hey Ramone, I'm open!
- Alley-oop!

- Score!

- Clock changed!
- (Peg): minutes!

- Ah! This sphere
got all stretched out.

- It's not a sphere, Cat. It's
a solid oval called an ovoid.

- Oh! I'll "ovoid" making
that mistake again!

Hahaha.

So, who do we know
who might have a really large...

DINOSAUR EGG?

- Ninja warrior Aki kicked it
past the Neighbor Ladies

to Ludwig Van Beethoven...

Albert Einstein and Marie Curie

to Romeo and Juliet!

- To Ramone...

- (dancers): Nice going!

- It's really nice, Richard,

but the shapes we're

- (Peg): minutes!

- We're kinda busy right now.

- Almost finished, Peg?

But where there's a giant pizza,

- Peg.

- You chickens made such awesome

From a Pig's Backside Day!

- We got everybody working
with shapes

to save the planet.

- What the world needs
now is math!

- Want to have a play date
sometime? Hahaha!

- Well, Peg, you didn't get
a parade in your honor

or floats, but I want you
to have this...

- The special globe...

of the President
of the United States?!

WHOA! It's like a parade
on my finger!

I love it so much!

But don't you need your special
globe for when you're worried?

- Next time I'm worried,
I'll open the window

and see how good things are,

like my friend Peg
taught me to do.

- Madame President,
I think this is the beginning

of a beautiful friendship.
