Post by bunniefuu »

Hi, neighbor!

Today I'm taking Tigey
with me to the library.

DANIEL TIGER: And later, Tigey
is coming with me to school.

Will you come too?

I'll be right back.

DANIEL TIGER: (SINGING)
It's a beautiful day

in the neighborhood, a
beautiful day for a neighbor.

Would you be mine?

Could you be mine?

Won't you be my neighbor?

[THEME MUSIC]

THEME SONG: It's Daniel
Tiger's neighborhood,

a land of make-believe.

Won't you ride along with me?

DANIEL TIGER:
(SINGING) Ride along.

[THEME SONG] It's
Daniel Tiger's neighbor,

so much to do, so much to see.

Won't you ride along with me?

DANIEL TIGER:
(SINGING) Ride along.

[THEME SONG] I've got
lots of friends for you

to meet, in this
land of make-believe,

a friendly face on every street
just waiting to greet you.

It's a beautiful day
in the neighborhood,

a beautiful day for a neighbor
in Daniel Tiger's neighbor.

(SINGING) Tigey
and me, Tigey and me.

We have so much fun
when we're together.

Hi, neighbor.

It's me, Tigey.

And me, Daniel Tiger.

Tigey is so special to me.

I'm playing house with
Tigey, want to play?

This is our house.

I'll be the daddy tiger and
Tigey ca be my little baby.

Wah, wah.

Maybe my baby is tired.

I'll try rocking him to sleep.

(SINGING) Rock-a-bye
Tigey, on the tree top.

Shhh.

Tigey baby is asleep.

I thought my tiger
might need a snack.

(WHISPERING) Thanks mom.

Mm.

Snacks!

Wah, wah.

Tigey baby is crying again.

Maybe Tigey baby is hungry.

Would you like a snack, Tigey?

[CHEWING SOUNDS] Ah, yummy.

Do you need some orange
juice now, Tigey baby?

Here you go, Tigey.

Just for pretend.

Careful, Margaret.

Oh, no.

Margaret.

Tigey has juice all over him.

He's so sticky and wet.

Oh no, oh no.

Oh, what happened over here?

We were playing with
Tigey and the Margaret

spilled the juice all over him.

Oh, I see that.

I'm so sad.

Tigey is sticky and wet and
he doesn't feel the same.

Oh, Daniel. (SINGING)
When you're upset you

can find a way to feel better.

(SINGING) When
you're upset you

can find a way to feel better.

Hugging Tigey makes
me feel better,

even if he is a little sticky.

Mom, can you clean Tigey?

Absolutely.

We can clean Tigey together.

Let's go inside.

Dad, look at Tigey.

He's so sticky and wet.

Ah, what happened?

You both look sticky and wet.

Orange juice spilled
all over Tigey.

You know, I have a good idea.

We need to get you ready to meet
your friends at the library.

So why don't you and Tigey
take a bath together?

A bath with Tigey would
be fun, don't you think?

Tigey, we're going to
get you all cleaned up.

We're going to take a
bubble bath together.

In you go.

And extra bubbly bath
Daniel and Tigey.

OK, let's scrub you both clean.

Washy, washy, washy, washy.

Tigey and I are getting clean.

Look, Mom, I'm pretending
to swim in the bathtub.

Yeah, and Tigey
is the lifeguard.

That is so funny.

Hey, do you want to
make-believe with me?

Let's make-believe that
Tigey and I are swimming

together in a big pool.

[ORCHESTRAL MUSIC]

Wasn't that grr-iffic?

OK, Daniel, it's almost
time to go to the library.

Hooray, the library.

How does Tigey look?

Is he all clean?

All clean.

Can Tigey come to
the library, too?

I want to keep him
nice and close.

That's a nice idea.

Let's dry Tigey a bit
and you go get dressed.

Here's my sweater.

Zip, zip, zip.

And, now, my shoes.

One shoe and two shoes.

Now we're ready to
go to the library.

Let's go to my tiger,
off to the library.

Hi, Trolley.

[BELL DINGS]

We're going to the library.

And Tigey's coming, too.

[BELL DINGS]

(SINGING TOGETHER) We're
going to the library

to read, and laugh, and play.

Won't you ride along with me?

Ride along.

Won't you ride along with me?

[BELL DINGING]

Here we are.

Look, there's Miss
Elaina and her dad.

Hey, Tiger.

Hi, Miss Elaina.

Hi, Daniel.

Let's go to the library.

Come on you guys.

OK, Elainaberry it's
time for me to go now.

But Mom Tiger is
here to watch you.

But I don't want you to go.

Oh, I'm sorry Elainaberry,
I have to go to the store.

I'll see you later.

I love you.

I love you too, Dad.

Are you OK?

I'm upset my dad left.

I really miss him.

(SINGING) When
you're upset you

can find a way to feel better.

(SINGING) When
you're upset you

can find a way to feel better.

You know what always
makes me feel better?

My locket.

It has pictures of
my mom and dad in it.

See?

I feel better
when I hug my Tigey.

What makes you feel
better when you're sad?

Hi, hoo, hoo.

- Hi, O.
- Miss.

Elaina, are you OK?

I'm OK now.

I was sad that my dad
left, but I made myself

feel better with my locket.

You know what makes me
feel better when I'm sad?

A story.

Maybe we can make
up our own story.

Maybe a mystery
story with clues.

I have a great
idea, follow me.

OK.

Hoo, hoo.

Hmmmm.

Yes.

Once upon a time,
there was a hippo.

But the hippo was really sad.

Boo, hoo, hoo.

Awe.

Why?

Because her mommy
hippo had to leave.

[WHISPERING] Where
did she have to go?

She had to go to work
at the hippo shoe store.

What?

Hippos wear shoes?

Yep, fancy shoes.

The little hippo was sad
because she missed her mommy.

But her special red blankie
always made her feel better.

But one day there was a mystery.

Oooh, a mystery.

Hippo couldn't find
her blankie anywhere.

[GASP] oh no.

It's OK, hippo, Tigey will
help you find your blankie.

We need a clue, like
what color was the blanket?

[PRETEND WHISPERING]

Tigey says the
blankie was red.

Right!

That's a clue.

Do you see anything red?

Ah ha!

You found it?

Hoo, hoo.

This is red.

But it's not the
hippo's blanket.

Let's keep looking
for another clue.

[INTERPOSING VOICES]
- It's here.

No.
- Look!

Hoo, hoo.

The blanket.

We solved the mystery.

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

With my Tigey.

With my locket.

With a story.

[UPBEAT MUSIC]

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

When you're upset
or feeling blue,

just think of something
you can do to help

yourself feel all right.

Like hugging your
favorite stuffy tight.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

When you're upset or feeling
mad, you can hug your mom

or hug your dad.

Sing a song or play pretend.

Or read your favorite book
and you'll feel better again.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

Oh wah oh.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

Mommy!

You're here.

Bye, Miss Elaina.

What helps you
when you're upset?

Tigey helps me.

You know what else helps me?

Having you as a friend.

Ugga mugga.

Let's go see some neighbors.

Abbott's going to his
first gymnastics class.

He's a little nervous
to try something new.

You are going to do great.

Can I take Duckins with me?

Sure, go get it.

So he's bringing Duckins.

What a good idea.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

[INAUDIBLE]

Duckins will be right
here if you need him.

Go have fun.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

(SINGING) When you're
upset or feeling blue,

just think of something
you can do to help

yourself feel all right.

Like hugging your
favorite stuffy tight.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

He seems nervous.

Looks like he needs Duckins.

Sometimes it helps to
have a friend nearby.

Hugs can make you feel better.

Have fun, Abbott.

I like these visits with you.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Hi, neighbor.

Guess who's here?

My Grandpere.

Hi, neighbor.

We're playing Super Daniel.

And Super Grandpere.

Come on, Grandpere.

Zoom.

Zoom.

OK, my little tigers.

Dad Tiger and I are
going on our trip now.

You and dad are
going on a trip?

Mhm.

Remember, Daniel?

Grandpere is going to
watch you and Margaret

and put you to bed.

We'll only be gone one night,
and then we'll come back.

And Grandpere is going to take
you to school and pick you up,

too.
- But what about my lunch?

And my backpack?

I've got them here and here.

Oh, OK.

Ugga mugga.

Bye, Daniel, bye, Margaret.
We love you.

- Bye-bye.
- Ugga mugga, Daniel.

And remember (SINGING)
grown ups come back.

Grown ups come back.

Hmm.

So, Daniel, should we
finish playing Super Daniel

before I take you to school?

I don't want to play any more.

Are you OK?

I miss mom and dad.

Oh, Daniel.

I know you're upset, but
(SINGING) when you're upset you

can find a way to feel better.

What's something that
makes you feel happy?

Mom and Dad.

But they're not here.

Is there anything else?

There is something else.

Tigey!

I love to hug Tigey when I feel
sad, he makes me feel happy.

There you go.

You just keep Tigey close and
let him help you feel better.

I will.

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

And I feel better
when I hold Tigey.

I'm glad you figured that out.

Now it's time for me
to take you to school.

Here's your lunch
and your backpack.

Can I take Tigey
to school with me?

Would that help
you feel better?

Mhm.

OK, then.

Come on Margaret,
you're coming too.

Hi, Trolley.

[BELL DINGS]

Grandpere is taking
me to school today.

And I'm taking Tigey because
I miss my mom and dad.

[BELL DINGS]

Thanks, Trolley.

Hi, Teacher Harriet.

Good morning, Daniel.

Hello, little Margaret.

So nice to see you.

Hello.

Nice to see you.

Grandpere brought
me to school today.

My mom and dad are on a trip.

And Tigey's here, too.

Well, hello, Tigey.

Would you like to put
Tigey in your cubby?

That way he'll be close by but
he'll also being nice and safe.

OK.

There you go Tigey.

Have a nice, comfy
rest in my cubby.

I'll come back to get
you after school, Daniel.

OK.

Bye, Grandpere.

Bye, Margaret.

Bye-bye.

Goodbye, Daniel.

Hi, Miss Elaina.

Hiya, Toots.

I'm taking care of
all of these pets.

Want to help?
- OK.

Here's the pets' food,
here are their leashes

so I can take them
for walks, and here's

a tub to give them a bath.

Time for your bath, puppy.

Scrub, scrub, scrub
in the tub, tub, tub.

All dry.

I like taking care of animals.

Hey, do you want to
make-believe with me?

Let's make-believe that we're
taking care of real pets.

(SINGING) Bunnies go hop, hop.

Duckies go quack, quack.

Hug the little puppies.

Playing with my pet
animal friends all day,

taking care of them
in my special way.

Hey, there friend,
I'll pet you on my lap.

Just close your eyes and
I'll be here while you nap.

Bunnies go hop, hop.

Duckies go quack, quack.

Hug the little puppies.

Playing with my pet
animal friends all day.

Wasn't that grr-iffic?

These animals need homes.

Who wants to take home a pet?

I do, I do.

Whoa.

I am the king and and
I royally love animals.

Which one do I want?

Daniel, help me pick.

How about this little puppy?

This puppy is royally cute.

Woof, woof, woof, hello, Daniel.

Hi, puppy.

Puppy likes you
so much, Daniel.

Here comes the
pet [INAUDIBLE]..

- Oh, no, Daniel.
- Sorry, toots.

Are you OK?

I'm OK.

OK, let's keep playing.

I got knocked down.

I didn't like that.

I want my mom and dad.

I'm upset.

What did Grandpere tell me?

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

I know what will make me
feel better, holding Tigey.

Let's get him from my cubby.

Tigey, I got knocked down.

It scared me a little.

But, hugging you
makes me feel better.

I'm ready to play again.

Tigey, these are
animal my friends.

Say hi.

[GIGGLES OFF SCREEN]

Do you hear that?

Nifty, glifty.

Meow, meow.

It's Katerina and O. I
wonder what they're doing?

Hi, Katerina.

Hi, O.

Hi, Daniel.

We're finding out
if these things will

sink or float in the water.

Like this toy boat.

Hoo, hoo.

[INTERPOSING VOICES]

Wait, I can't see.

It floats.

Let's try this one now.
- Grrr.

It sank, meow meow.

I can't see
anything back here.

I want a turn at
the water table.

I'm so frustrated.

Oh, we're sorry, Daniel.

We didn't know you couldn't see.

You can have a
turn at the table.

Hoo, hoo.

I don't want a turn anymore.

I'm too upset.

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

I think I need to hold Tigey
again so I can feel better.

Tigey?

Where is he?

Teacher Harriet, I need help.

OK, Daniel.

I see that you're upset

Tigey helps me feel better.

And I'm upset because
I can't find Tigey.

I see.

I know something
else that might help

you feel better until we find
Tigey, a Teacher Harriet hug.

Thanks, Teacher Harriet, I
feel a little bit better now.

Why don't we look
for Tigey together?

Tigey?

- Tigey!
- Tigey.

Thank you, Miss Elaina.

You're welcome, Daniel.

Now that we found Tigey, let's
go back and play sink or float.

Katerina, O, can
I have a turn now?

Of course you can.

Do you think this
rock will sink or float?

Let's see.

It sinks.

Oh.

Do you think this rubber
duck will sink or float?

It floats!

Isn't that grr-iffic, Tigey?

(SINGING) When you're upset you
can find a way to feel better.

When you have a bad day, where
things aren't going you way,

Tigey is there for you to
squeeze tight or cozy up

with in bed at night.

When I need to brave,
Tigey is there.

When I just want to
play, he's there.

When I'm mad or sad or
doing something new,

I'm glad I've got
Tigey to hold on to.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

When you're upset you can
find a way to feel better.

Hi, Daniel.

Grandpere!

How was your day at school?

Well, I got upset, but then
Tigey helped me feel better.

When you get upset, what
helps you feel better?

I'm glad Tigey
was with me today,

and I'm glad you
were with me, too.

Ugga mugga.

(SINGING) It's such a
good feeling to play

with family and friends.

It's such a happy feeling
when they lend you a hand.

You wake up ready
to say, I think

I'll make a snappy, new day.

It's such a good feeling, a
very good feeling, a feeling

you know, that I'll be
back when the day is new,

and I'll have more
ideas for you.

And you'll have things you'll
want to talk about, I will,

too.

Because, it's you I like.

Let's spend some time
with one of our neighbors.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Hi, my name is
Thomas, and today I'm

going to help my friend,
Nicola, take care of a dog.

Hi, Nicola, what are you doing?

Hi, Thomas.

I'm taking care of Boo.

Do you want to help me?

Yeah.

Have a seat.

So you're in charge of
those treats for him, OK?

OK.

So we're going to
start by brushing him.

You want to keep your dog
brushed so that he doesn't

get little knots in his fur.
- OK.

All right, it's time to
give f a bath, are you ready?

Yeah.

Let's go.

All right, here's the tub.

Then we're going to put this
on him so he's safe and he

doesn't-- just in
case he decides

he wants to jump in your
arms and give you a kiss.

He might even enjoy it.

We're going to use this shampoo,
it's an oatmeal shampoo.

So, it's real nice for his skin.

Yeah, and I'm going
to have you help me.

You're going to rub it.
Yep.

Go ahead and put your hand
right on-- there you go.

And you just massage it
gently into the coat.

You want to try rinsing him?
- Sure.

Looks like a vacuum cleaner.

It does the absolute opposite.

It blows the air out.

Do you want to try?

So, it won't hurt him at
all, it's all nice and cool.

He looks great.

Thanks for letting
me help, Nicola.

Thank you for coming.

You were a huge help,
he looks amazing.

Thanks for coming
with me, neighbor.

Bye.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

I like these visits with you.
