Today, Dad and I are
going to get the new

Tigey the Adventure Tiger
book at the library!

And then, we're
going to get Margaret

some new shoes at the store!

(giggle) You can come too!

Dad and I are going
to the library

to borrow the new Tigey
the Adventure Tiger Book!

I can't wait to find out
what kind of adventure

he'll go on next!

Just remember, before
we go to the library,

we need to stop at the dentist,

so Dr. Plat can check
my tooth that she fixed.

Daniel: Oh yeah.

I'm so excited for the new
book! I just can't wait!

Dad Tiger: Well, then
it's a good thing

we're already at the dentist.



We'll go to the library
as soon as we're done here.

Daniel: Thanks, Trolley!

Trolley: (ding-ding)

Dad Tiger: Hi Baker Aker.
Baker Aker: Hello Tigers!

Daniel: Dad!

Dr. Plat has a picture of Tigey
the Adventure Tiger on her wall!

Dad Tiger: Wow, I bet she'll be
excited for the new book too.

Dr. Plat: I sure am.

Daniel, where do you think Tigey
will go on his new adventure?

Daniel: I don't know!

We're gonna find out,
we're going to the library

right after you
check Dad's tooth!

Soooo, can you
check his tooth now?

Dr. Plat: (chuckles) Well I
need to see Baker Aker first.

And then I'll see your Dad.

I hope you won't mind
waiting here until I'm done.

Dad Tiger: Come on,
Daniel, let's have a seat.



Daniel: (sighs)



Um... Dad?

How long do we have to wait?

Dad Tiger: I don't know, Daniel.

Daniel: (groans)
It's very hard to wait.



I wish we could
go to the library

and get my Tigey book right now!

Dad Tiger: I know waiting
your turn can be hard,

especially when you're excited.

But there are things you can
do to make the waiting easier.

Daniel: Like what?
Dad Tiger: Well...

How about I Spy game?

You spy first, Dad!

Dad Tiger: Okay, let's see...

I spy with my tiger eye,

something that's blue
and has teeth.

Daniel: Hmmmmmm...



Do you see something that's
blue and has lots of teeth?

That dinosaur!

Yeah!

Is it Mr.Dino?

Dad Tiger: (giggles) You got it!

Now it's Mr. Dino's turn!

He spies with his
(giggle) dino eye...

...a dentist?

Dad Tiger: Hey, it looks like

Dr. Plat is all done
with Baker Aker.

Daniel: Wow!

Playing I Spy made
the waiting go fast!

Baker Aker: Have a
nice day, Tigers!

Dad Tiger/Daniel:
Bye, Baker Aker!

Dr. Plat: Thanks for waiting.

I'm ready to check
your tooth now.

Come on back!

Daniel: After
we're done here,

we can get the new Tigey
book at the library!

Dr. Plat: Daniel, you and
Mr. Dino can sit here,

and your Dad will sit
in the big chair,

so I can get a good
look at his tooth.

This will just
take a few minutes.

Daniel: Huh.

I guess I'll have to wait again.

Waiting, waiting...

(humming)

(groans) Waiting is hard.

Daniel/Mr. Dino: ♪ Clap your
hands, and join the chorus, ♪

♪ cause this dinosaur
is a dance-o-saurus! ♪

Daniel: ♪ We're
gonna clap our hands! ♪

Mr. Dino: ♪ And move
to the b*at! ♪

Daniel: ♪ Then
we're gonna ROAR! ♪

Mr. Dino: ♪ And stomp
our Dino feet! ♪

Daniel/Mr. Dino: ♪ Clap your

♪ cause this dinosaur

Daniel: Ta-da! (giggles)

Dr. Plat: Glad to see
that tooth is doing fine!

finding something to do

while you waited, Daniel.

Now c'mon, it's time
for the library.

Daniel: To get
the new Tigey book!

Yay! Let's go!

Daniel: The library! We made it!

Come on, let's go get my book!



Look! There are all
the new Tigey books!

(gasp) But there's a
really loooooong line.

That means more waiting.

Librarian Owl: : (hooting)
That's quite a stack of books,

you have there, O.

O The Owl: Hoo Hoo!
Miss Elaina: (giggles)

Jodi: Hi Daniel.

Daniel: Hi, Jodi.

Jodi: I really want
the new Tigey book

but this line is taking so long.

(groans) I don't want
to wait any more.

Daniel: My Dad taught
me a song that can help.

Let's imagine that we're on
the new adventure with Tigey!

Daniel: Grr-ific!

Maybe, Tigey's diving
into the ocean.

Jodi: Ooo...

And maybe he goes into
a big submarine. Splash!

Into a dark cave!

Daniel/Jodi: (giggles)

Daniel: Look! We're almost
at the front of the line!

Jodi: Wow, playing pretend

did make the waiting go faster!

Librarian Owl: (chuckles)
Howdy, Jodi! Howdy, Daniel!

I know just what
you're waiting for...

the new Tigey the
Adventure Tiger Book!

Daniel: Yes please!
Jodi: Mm-hm!

Librarian Owl: Presenting...

Tigey Goes to the Moon!

Daniel: Yaaaay! Thank you!

Jodi: Yippy Skippy! Yippy
Skippy, yippy skippy!

Bye Daniel!

Daniel: Look, Dad!
I got the book!

Dad Tiger: Tigertastic!

Daniel: Will you read it to me?

Dad Tiger: Okay, come on!

Daniel: This is so exciting!
This is so exciting!

Dad Tiger: It was
time for adventure,

and Tigey decided to go

where no tiger had
ever gone before:

to the moon!

Tigey put on his space helmet,

and stepped into
a big rocket ship.

Three, two, one.

Blast off!"

(Dad making rocket sound)

Daniel: Go, Tigey, Go!

Dad Tiger: (laughter)
Tigey stepped onto the moon

and planted a flag.

Then he returned
to his rocket ship

and headed back home.

Daniel: Wow! That was
the best Tigey book ever!

Daniel/Jodi: ♪ When you

is a game we can play, ♪

♪ Jodi: ♪ I Spy is

Daniel: I found things to do

while waiting for my Tigey book.

What helps you when you're
waiting for something?

Daniel: Let's go
see some neighbors!

♪ (upbeat music) ♪

This is Mik and
his daughter Lei.

Mik: Don't you think we
should go with the yellow?

Lei: I like the yellow, I
like the yellow and the red.

Daniel: Mik and Lei are
making shoes in their workshop.



(click)

Mik: This
is a click-press.

They call it a click-press
because when it cuts the leather

it makes a click sound.

It goes click and
then you know it's cut.



Daniel: These
pieces are going to be

the toes of the shoes.



Woah! It's a dragonfly!
(giggles)

Lei: I first started
helping my Dad in the shop

when I was or ,

and it's one of my
favorite things to do.

Daniel: When Lei
is done painting,

it's time for her Dad
to put the shoes together.

Mik: Make sure everything's
nice and straight,

squeezing it nicely
to make that round cut,

which is gonna be the heel.



And now you can see that all of
these little pieces,

that we've cut out like a puzzle
are now gonna turn into a shoe.

Daniel: It takes
a lot of steps and hard work,

to make a pair of shoes.

(bang-bang)



Mik: This makes the whole
shoe, the pretty laces.

Daniel: Now they're ready
for someone to wear them.

That was so much fun!

♪ (soft playful music) ♪

Daniel: Hi, Neighbor!

Today, my Mom is taking me

and Baby Margaret
to the playground!

Hooray!

I'm going to swing
on the swings

and play on the rings,

and you can come with us!

Mom Tiger: Daniel? Come
put on your shoes, please.

Daniel: (giggles)
Oh yeah. Shoes!

(giggles)

I can put on my shoes
all by myself...

Hmmm. Here we go. (humming)

Tadaaaa! Shoes! Shoes!
I put on my shoes!

Mom Tiger: Wow. You put
your shoes on by yourself.

Daniel: See Margaret?

Someday you'll be able
to put your shoes on

all by yourself too!

Baby Margaret:
(giggles) Dan-Dan.

Daniel: We all have
our shoes on? Let's go!

Margaret: (whines)

Daniel: Come on, Margaret!
Let's go to the playground!

Margaret: (whines)

Mom Tiger: Oh dear!

Margaret: (whines)

Daniel: What's
wrong with Margaret?

She usually loves to
go to the playground.

Mom Tiger: Hmm. She doesn't
seem comfortable in her shoes.

Daniel: Why not? What's
wrong with her shoes?

Mom Tiger: Hmm, hmm,
I think her feet have grown.

And now her shoes are too tight.

I've been thinking she might
need bigger shoes soon...

Daniel: Ohh.
Mom Tiger: (sighs)

Daniel: Can we
still go to the park?

Mom Tiger: Yes, but first

we'll have to get
Margaret some new shoes.

Daniel: Can we go to
the playground first

and then get new
shoes at the store?

Mom Tiger: Sorry, Daniel.

We have to go to
the store first,

because Margaret's
uncomfortable in these shoes.

You'll just have to
wait a little while.

Daniel: It's very,
very, very hard to wait.

Mom Tiger: ♪ When you

Everybody: (giggle)

Daniel: Nice trick, Mom!

Margaret: (giggles)

Daniel: Hop Hop!

Daniel: Baby Margaret

Seven, eight, singing is...

Daniel/Mom Tiger: Great!

Mom Tiger: Oh! Look
where we are, Daniel.

Daniel: We're at
the store already?

(door bell)

Mom Tiger: (chuckles)

Daniel: Hi Prince Tuesday!

Prince Tuesday: Oh, um,

Mom Tiger: Oh hi Dr. Plat!

Prince Tuesday: How
can I help you today?

Mom Tiger: Well, it's time for
Margaret to get some new shoes.

Daniel: Yeah, her old
ones are toooooo small!

Prince Tuesday: Oooh!
How royally exciting!

I'll be happy to find
her some new shoes

just as soon as I
finish helping Dr. Plat.

Daniel: Now I have to
wait again. (sigh)

More waiting to go
to the playground.
