Bees won't hurt you if you leave them alone.

- Bees make honey?

- Oh, they certainly do!

See those boxes up there?

Those are beehives.

That's where the bees live and make their honey.

- I love honey! It's delicious.

- Me too.

Guppies: Good morning, Mr. Grouper!

- Well, good morning, everyone!

[Molly and Gil buzzing]

Guppies: [giggling] - Whoa-ho!

Looks like we've got some busy bees here today.

- Mr. Grouper, a beekeeper gave us

some honey that bees made!

- In their hive!

- What's a hive?

[bubble pops]

- A hive is where bees live.

- I love bees!

Wait a minute. Don't they sting?

- Well, bees can sting,

and some people are allergic to bees.

- I'm allergic to bees. - Mm-hmm.

So it's important not to bother them.

They're very busy making honey!

Let's think about bees.

Bees work together to make sweet, sticky...

[bubble pops]

- Honey!

- Honey! Right.

And to make the honey,

bees collect nectar from inside of...

- Flowers! - Right! Flowers.

To get from flower to flower, bees fly with their...

- Wings.

- Wings, yes.

Bees' wings make the buzzing sound.

Bees are really cool!

We have the sweetest honey-flavored frozen yogurt

in the business.

We keep our fro-yo in these funky-looking machines.

- They look like honeycomb. [bubble pops]

Bees make honeycomb to keep their honey in.

- Really?

- This shape is called a hexagon.

It has six sides.

One, two, three, four, five, six sides.

A hexagon.

Honeycomb is made of lots of little hexagons.

Bees fill the hexagons with honey.

- Now, what can I get you today?

- I'd like a small cone, please.

- Small, huh?

- Bees make honeycomb out of wax,

and they use the honeycomb to hold their honey.

- Yup! I made it.

Maybe some bees will make some delicious honey in there.

[bees buzzing]

There are bees in there!

And I'll bet you they made honey!

- Hey, Molly! We're playing bees!

- Come on!

- I'm collecting nectar from these flowers.

- Come on, Nonny! We have to take it to the hive.

[all buzzing]

- Presenting Her Majesty, the Queen!

[buzzing, applauding]

- [in accent] Greetings, my loyal worker bees!

- What's a worker bee?

- Worker bees are the bees that collect the nectar

and make it into honey.

- And in every hive, there is exactly one queen bee.

- Every bee has a job.

- That's right, Nonny.

- Mr. Grouper! Come in the bee hive with us!

- I can't, I don't fit!

This hive is for honeybees.

But I'm a big bumblebee.

Bzzz, bzzz, bzzz...

- [giggling] - [barks]

[kids buzzing]

- [barking]

- Okay, honeybees! Line up!

It's time to go outside!

Guppies: ♪ Outside! Outside! ♪ - Come on!

Guppies: ♪ Outside, everybody, outside! ♪

- Once upon a time...

there were two worker bees who worked

for the Bee Hive Honey Corporation.

[intercom beeping]

- Your worker bees are here to see you.

Thanks for coming, worker bees.

We've got a big problem.

We're all out of nectar.

- Out of nectar?

♪ ♪

- But without nectar...

- We can't make honey!

It's a real sticky situation.

If we don't make more honey, we won't have anything to eat.

- Bees eat honey.

- Thanks, honey.

So pack your bags, workers.

I'm sending you on a buzz-ness trip to collect nectar

and bring it back here to the Hive Corporation.

both: Buzz-ness trip!

Sweet!

- Hold your horseflies, boys. [brakes screech]

Watch out for the Honey Bear!

both: The Honey Bear?

Uh-oh.

- So, the worker bees flew

to find lots and lots of flowers.

♪ ♪

- Starting the nectar collector!

♪ ♪

[honey gurgling]

- But suddenly...

[dramatic music]

- Mmm!

Honey!

- Honey Bear!

- Let's get out of here!

[engine sputtering]

- So the worker bees flew away as fast as they could,

to find some flowers somewhere else.

- Turn on the nectar collector!

- Turning on!

♪ ♪

- But once again...

- Mmm!

♪ ♪

- Honey Bear!

♪ ♪

[engine revving]

♪ ♪

- Honey! [fingertips tinkling]

♪ ♪

Honey!

♪ ♪

- He's following us!

- Go faster!

- Roger that!

♪ ♪

- Honey...

- I think we finally lost him.

- Phew!

- We've got to find some flowers, fast!

- And lots of 'em!

I wonder which one of those islands has the most flowers.

We need your help!

Which island has the most flowers?

♪ ♪

fish: That one!

- This island! - Right!

This island has the most flowers.

- So the worker bees flew down to collect the nectar.

♪ ♪

But just as they finished collecting the nectar...

- Mmm!

both: Honey Bear!

♪ ♪

- [sniffing]

Honey!

both: Honey?

- Excuse me, sir.

There isn't any honey on this plane.

- But--but you're honeybees.

- We make honey back at the hive.

This plane is full of nectar.

♪ ♪

- [sobbing]

I wanted some honey!

[crying]

I'm the Honey Bear.

- I have an idea.

If you help us get the nectar back to the hive,

we'll make you all the honey you want!

- Mmm!

- And so, the honeybees

were able to make lots and lots of honey.

- Great job, worker bees!

We have all the nectar we need to make all the honey we want,

thanks to our new nectar collector!

- Honey!

- Have some honey... bear.

Guppies: [giggling]

- Mmm!

- And they all lived happily ever after.

[bubble pops]

[kids cheering]

- Come on, everybody!

It's time to dance!

[kids giggling]

Come on, all you worker bees!

We're going to a big bee race!

- A bee race?

Guppies: Field trip!

- Do you want to come with us?

Great! Come on!

[cheers and applause]

- Good afternoon, and welcome, worker bees and drones,

to Her Majesty's Bubble Bee-Athlon!

- Whoo-hoo!

- Today, Team Bubble Bee will face

a most un-bee-lievable challenge:

to make honey for Her Majesty, the Queen Bee!

[cheers and applause]

- Yes, we would like honey in our tea!

- And to get the Queen Bee her honey,

Team Bubble Bee is going to have to pick up the nectar ball

and bring it all the way back to the hive before tea time.

[clock bell ringing]

But it's going to be some difficult flying today.

Just look at all those obstacles.

[devices ticking]

- Obstacles are things that get in your way.

[clock bell ringing]

[cheers and applause]

- And it looks like we're about to bee-gin.

- On your marks...

get set...

go!

- And Team Bubble Bee takes off!

These first obstacles look quite difficult.

Let's see if they can fly through them

without getting knocked out of the race.

Whoa! Look at them go!

Jolly good!

We're seeing some incredible flying today!

Uh-oh.

Now they're going to have to get through those flowers.

[cheers and applause]

And there it is, ladies and gentlemen.

There's the precious nectar ball.

- Gotcha! - Brilliant!

Gil has got the nectar ball,

and Team Bubble Bee is taking it back to the hive!

- [grunts] - Oh, no!

- Got it!

- An amazing interception by Oona.

- Go, Oona!

- And Oona had better be careful,

because I think it's about to get windy!

[wind roaring]

- Whoa!

Goby, catch!

♪ ♪

- Now Goby's got the nectar ball!

But it looks like it's about to rain!

- Look out!

- [grunts]

♪ ♪

- And there goes the nectar ball!

A perfect catch by Molly!

What tremendous teamwork!

- Go, Molly!

- And Molly's heading back to the hive!

♪ ♪

Only a few more seconds until tea time!

♪ ♪

Now she's got to get the nectar ball into the hive

by throwing it through the honeycomb!

- I need your help!

The square, the triangle, or the hexagon?

- Right! The hexagon!

♪ ♪

[crowd gasping] - [barks]

[dramatic music]

- Wow! Bubble Puppy catches the nectar ball!

[clock bell ringing] He made it!

The nectar ball is in the hive,

and here comes the honey!

[honey spurts]

[suspenseful music]

- [slurps]

Bee-licious!

[cheers and applause]

- Jolly, jolly good!
