Well, hi there, guys!

Farmer Joe, there's a dog chasing your sheep around!

Oh, that's Scout!

She's a sheepdog!

It's Scout's job to keep all the sheep safe.

How does she do that?

Take a look!

[Whistling] Bring 'em in, Scout!

[Scout barking]

Scout shows all the sheep where they should go.

She's bringing them back to the barn.

Whoa, that's awesome!

Oh yeah, Scout's a real big help here on the farm!

[Lamb bleating]

Looks like little Woolie

has wandered away from the flock again!

Go get her, Scout!

[Barking]

[Barking, lamb bleating]

Atta girl, Scout!

[Bubble Puppy barking]

Would you look at that!

I think Bubble Puppy wants to be a sheepdog too!

[Barking]

[Giggling]

Good boy, Bubble Puppy!

[Cow mooing]

Oop! Guess it's time for me to go milk the cows!

CHILDREN: Good morning, Mr. Grouper!

We just saw a sheepdog! On a farm!

A sheepdog? Oh, wow!

Cool!

Yeah, her name was Scout

and she was helping the farmer herd the sheep!

There's always a lot of work to do on a farm.

Like taking care of animals!

Mm-hmm!

And by taking care of the animals,

the animals take care of us by giving us things that we need.

Like what?

Let's think about it!

Some farms have cows that give us...?

Milk!

Right!

And some farms have chickens that give us...?

Eggs!

And some farms have sheep that give us wool!

Lots of warm things we wear come from wool, like...?

Farms are so cool!

Yeah!

And to win the game,

you need to pick the door with the number of eggs you need.

I need your help!

I need six eggs and I already have three.

How many more eggs do I need?

LITTLE FISH: Three!

This chicken lays an egg every day at exactly the same time.

[Watch beeping]

Chores are jobs you have to do.

Once upon a time...

I'm so old and there are so many chores to do today.

I'm going to need some help.

Farmhands!

A farmhand is someone who helps on the farm.

How can we help, Old MacNonny?

You can help me by feeding the farm animals.

You got it!

Not so fast, farmhands.

You must watch out for... Cerberus.

[Ominous music playing]

Who's Cerberus?

Cerberus is a three-headed dog

who keeps barking at our farm animals.

They don't like it.

We'd better take the tractor.

♪ Old MacNonny had some pigs

Time to eat, piggies.

[Pigs oinking]

DEEMA: But just as the pigs were about to eat...

Woof!Woof!

Woof!

BOTH: It's Cerberus!

Let's get out of here!

That was close!

We'd better hurry up with our chores

before Cerberus comes back!

[Tractor whirring]

Here you go, horsies.

Some fresh hay for you to eat.

But just as the horses were about to eat...

[Horses whinnying]

BOTH: Cerberus!

We better finish our chores, fast!

All we have to do now is feed the chickens!

The numbers on these bags

tell us how many chickens they can feed.

Let's start with four!

[Cerberus barking]

We need your help to feed the rest of the chickens!

We fed four chickens.

[Chickens clucking]

Right!

That means we need to use bag number !

Here you go, chickens.

But just then...

[Cerberus barking]

BOTH: Cerberus!

Help us!

Old MacNonny! Let us in!

What's all the racket about?

Cerberus is trying to get us!

Huh?

We don't want to get you!

We just want some food!

Yeah.

Well, we've got some dog food right here!

You can have it, Cerberus.

But you have to help out on the farm.

You're pretty good at barking.

You could be a watch dog!

Okay!

Cool!

Yeah.

[Burping]

And they all lived happily ever after.

[Cheering]

It's time to dance!

[Giggling]

I'm getting chicken food from this silo.

A silo is a big, round building on a farm

that holds lots of food for the animals.

Neat!

This silo is filled with corn for the chickens.

Check it out!

Come and get it, chickens!

[Chickens clucking]

Chickens love to eat.

It helps them lay eggs.

[Watch beeping]

[Chicken clucking]

Uh-oh.

Right on time!

Hey, everybody, it's time to go to Farmer Joe's barn dance!

ALL: Field trip!

Do you want to come to the barn dance with us?

Great! C'mon!

Well, everyone, the chickens are fed, the cows have been milked,

and the silo is filled all the way up to the top with corn!

Whoo!

So grab yourselves a snack and something to drink--

all fresh from here at the farm, of course--

and let's party!

[Spinning record]

All right! Party time!

[Cheering]



[Chick chirping]

Party time! Whoo-hoo!

[Wind blowing]

It's windy today!

Looks like a storm's a' comin'!

FARMER JOE: All right, everybody!

Let's bring the party inside until this storm blows over.

Come on, everybody, inside.

[Animals squawking, bleating]

Okay, is everybody in?

What about Woolie?

Where's little Woolie?

Arf, arf!

What is it, boy?

[Gasping] Woolie's still out there!

MOLLY: Oh no!

[Bleating]

She looks scared!

[Barking]

Go on and get her, Scout!

[Barking]

[Bleating]

Bring her back now.

[All shouting]

[Clucking]

Wait a minute. Do you hear that?

[Popping sound]

It sounds like popcorn popping.

That silo is filled up to the top with corn!

And it's popping!

It smells delicious!

[Popping]

Whoa! Look at that!

[All exclaiming]

It's a blizzard of popcorn!

[Scout barking]

[Bleating, barking]

Farmer Joe, will Scout be able to bring Woolie back?

I sure hope so!

Here, Scout!

[Bleating]

We're over here!

[Barking]

I think they're lost!

Arf, arf!

What are you doing, boy?

What's he doing?

Arf, arf!

He's taking that with him so he can find the way back.

[Goby eating popcorn] This is so exciting!

Be careful, Bubble Puppy!

[Woolie bleating]

[Bubble Puppy barking]

[Bleating, barking]

KIDS: Bubble Puppy!

[Cheering]

That was some fine sheep herding, Bubble Puppy!

[Barking]

[Cheering, talking indistinctly]

Yes, sir, when the work's all done,

a farmer can relax a little.

Well, all except three.

But you can't force a chicken lay an egg.

Sometimes, you just have to wait.
