Everyone who lived there was happy.

And he was not happy.

I don't know, Mayor, but he doesn't seem very happy.

Wow, they sure are smiley!

[Deema] Yup! Smilin' pancakes are my specialty.

Nobody in Happy Junction ever orders

any of these other expressions.

An expression is how your face shows your feelings.

[Nonny] Nobody in Happy Junction had ever met someone

as grumpy as Mr. Grumpfish before,

and they didn't know what to do.

What do we do, Sheriff?

I reckon there's only one thing to do:

with the things that made them happy.

But no matter what they did,

he just went right on being grumpy.

Pretty soon, the people in Happy Junction

weren't feeling so happy either.

The townspeople knew they needed help.

So they went to the Sheriff's office.

[all talking angrily]

Okay, okay, everyone, calm down!

I appreciate you all trying to cheer up

this grumpy stranger, but I reckon it's time

we do something big.

A party, Sheriff?

A good ol' fashioned Happy Junction party!

Meanwhile, everyone in town

was starting to feel pretty grumpy, too...

Happy Junction doesn't feel so happy anymore...

With the way things have been going,

I'm afraid this town can't be called Happy Junction anymore.

Yep. This place is grumpy.

And I don't see how we're gonna change that.

So, we're renaming the town...
