You see, every year, the doctor gives Blue a checkup

to make sure she stays healthy.

Let's help Blue get ready.

Oh, Blue's bringing a book with her

to the doctor's office

in case we have to wait.

Well, Blue, what else do you want to bring?

[ barks "Polka Dots"]

That's Blue's favorite stuffed animal.

Let's look for Polka Dots.

She's a puppy, just like Blue.

Yeah, maybe, but let's find some more clues so we can be sure.

Hi, Shovel, hi, Pail.

Uh, what are you doing?

PAIL: We're pretending to be doctors.

Hey, Blue is going to the real doctor later today.

Nope. It's just time for her checkup.

We'll draw a curving shape like this, curves for the handle,

a rectangular shape for the latch, and we have a bag.

So our first clue was Blue's white coat.

And now our second clue is a bag.

What could Blue want to do after her checkup

with her white coat and a bag?

Good thinking.

But... let's find our last clue just to be sure.

Ooh! It's mail time!

Come on!

until it gets better.

It'll feel a little tight,

and then it'll get loose again.

And here comes Dr. Maya.

Oh, it's Blue's doctor, Dr. Maya.

Blue, you're getting so big.

I'm going to listen to your heart and to your lungs.

And now I'm going to tap your knee very gently

to check your reflexes.

[ barks]

Ooh, an otoscope.

We used one of those with Shovel and Pail.

Which part of Blue is Dr. Maya going to check

with that otoscope?

Her ears.

Her ears, yeah.

Your ears look clean and healthy.

Now let's check your eyes...

And your throat.

Open your mouth, stick out your tongue and say, "Ahh."

[ barks "Ahh"]

Looks good.

Blue, to help you stay healthy,

you need a sh*t with a vaccine.

It will hurt for a second,

but then you'll feel fine.

[ barks worriedly]

Yeah.

What's in Blue's backpack that's good to hug?

Polka Dots.

Polka Dots, yeah.

[ barks happily]

Hugging Polka Dots will help Blue feel much better

when she gets her sh*t.

lines for the squares on my shirt, legs and feet.

what Blue wants to do after her checkup.

It's time to sit in our...

Now that we're in our thinking chair,

let's think.

So, what could Blue want to do after her checkup

with a white coat...
