Hi.

Come on.

[blows whistle]

[barking]

We're going to the park to play soccer.

Do you want to come?

[barks excitedly]

Nice kick, Blue.

[barking]

Come on.

It's time for soccer practice.

[Blue and Magenta barking]

Hi, Magenta.

Are you ready for soccer practice?

[barking]

Hiya, team.

PLAYERS: Hi.

All right, team, let's start soccer practice.

[blows whistle]

[players exclaim]

Joe, are you going to play soccer with us?

Nope.

I'm not playing; I'm the coach.

[blows whistle]

I'm just here to help the team.

Oh.

First, let's do some stretches to warm up our muscles.

[players exclaim]

Come on.

Stand up and stretch with us.

Everyone, do what I do.

Stretch up high.

[players grunting]

Now stretch down low.

Yeah!

Stretch.

[grunts]

That feels good.

Now shake it out.

[players exclaiming]

[chuckles]

Okay, now let's do some jumping jacks to get our hearts pumping.

Ready?

One...

four.

Hey, Coach Joe, are we going to do something

after soccer practice today?

Wow.

That's a great idea.

We should all do something together after soccer practice.

PLAYERS: Cool! Awesome! Great idea!

[barks]

But what?

[barking]

Great idea!

We'll play "Blue's Clues" to figure it out.

♪ We are gonna play Blue's Clues ♪

♪ 'Cause it's a really great game, yeah! ♪

So remember, Blue's paw prints will be on the clues--

Blue's Clues.

[blows whistle]

[barks]

Hey, Blue, how are we going to play Blue's Clues

here at the soccer field?

[barks "Like this, Joe"]

Oh.

You mean, when we kick the ball into the goal, we get a clue?

[barks]

What a brilliant idea.

It's a soccer game of Blue's Clues.

To play soccer Blue's Clues, we've got to make a...

Goal!

Yeah, a goal.

Right.

And then we get a...

Clue!

A clue?

A clue!

Then we put it in our... Notebook!

♪ Cause they're Blue's Clues, Blue's Clues. ♪

You know what to do.

♪ Sit down in our thinking chair and... ♪

There is no thinking chair here.

Oh.

♪ Sit down on the thinking bench ♪

♪ And think, think, think

♪ 'Cause when we use our minds and take a step at a time ♪

♪ We can do anything...

[barks]

That we want to do.

[blows whistle]

All right, team.

Everybody ready to play a soccer game of Blue's Clues

to figure out what we're going to do after practice?

PLAYERS: Yeah!

Great.

Everybody get ready.

It's time to play for the first clue.

[barking]

[blows whistle]

Magenta has the ball.

Magenta, over here.

Pass it to me.

[barking]

JOE: Magenta passes the ball to Side Table Drawer.

Whoo-hoo!

I've got the ball.

JOE: Side Table's got the ball.

Who should I pass it to?

[barking]

Oh, Blue.

She's close to the goal.

JOE: Side Table passes the ball to Blue.

Blue dribbles it towards the goal.

Kick it, Blue.

Make a goal.

[barking]

JOE: Blue kicks the ball and...

[sighs]

She missed.

[barks sadly]

Blue missed the goal on her first kick.

What should we tell her?

We could tell her to try again.

Hey, Blue.

Why don't you try it again?

We're just practicing, so give it another try.

[barks]

Blue could use some encouragement right now.

Let's clap to cheer her on.

[chanting]: Blue!

Blue!

Blue!

Blue!

Blue!

Blue runs up... and kicks.

Goal!

[all exclaiming]

Blue got a goal.

That means we get our first...

Clue.

Clue!

[all exclaiming]

And there it is.

A clue on this... truck.

You know what we need now-- our handy-dandy...

Notebook.

Notebook-- right.

So, a truck.

♪ I'm a truck.

♪ Vroom, vroom.

What could you do after soccer practice with me?

[whistle blows]

We have our first clue.

Let's get back to practice.

All right, team.

It's time to play for our second clue.

[players exclaiming]

Try to get another goal.

Is everybody ready?

Yeah!

[blows whistle]

Periwinkle has the ball.

He kicks it down the field.

Purple Kangaroo and Magenta are both running toward the ball.

Watch out!

[both groan]

What happened?

We bumped into each other.

We were both trying to get the ball.

[barking]

Are you okay?

I think so.

[barks]

Here's a little soccer tip for you.

When you're running down the field,

if you're close to the ball, say, "I got it."

Then your teammate knows you're going to get the ball,

and maybe you won't bump into each other.

Okay, Coach.

Come on, Magenta.

Let's try to call, "I got it."

[barks "I got it"]

JOE: All right.

Game on!

[whistle blows]

Side Table passes the ball.

Magenta and Purple are running towards the goal.

I got it, Magenta.

JOE: Purple said, "I got it,"

and they didn't bump into each other.

Here, Magenta, now I'll pass to you.

JOE: Purple Kangaroo passes to Magenta.

Kick it in the goal, Magenta.

JOE: She kicks...

[exclaims]

Goal!

[players exclaiming]

We got our second goal, which means we get our second...

Clue.

Clue!

[players exclaiming]

There's a clue on this... cone.

We need our handy-dandy...

Notebook.

Notebook.

♪ I'm a cone.

Hi, Cone.

♪ I'm a truck.

♪ Vroom, vroom.

♪ And I'm a cone.

♪ I wonder...

BOTH: ♪ How we go together.

Yeah.

What could you do after soccer practice with us?

♪ Mail time, mail time, mail time!♪

Mail's here.

Great!

♪ Mail time, mail time!♪

♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want to wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I want to wail, "Goal!" ♪

I mean um... um...

♪ Mail!

[barks]

Hey, Coach Joe, am I allowed to use my head in soccer?

Well, absolutely, Mailbox.

You can use any part of your body except your hands.

Well, that's okay.

I don't have any hands, just a flag.

Here'syour letter.

GIRL: She's our coach.

She helps us get better at soccer.

COACH: Reach up, get on your tippy-toes.

GIRL: It's really important to stretch.

Drop down to the ground.

Touch your toes.

Good.

Okay, huddle up.

Everybody feel stretched out?

CHILDREN: Yeah!

Moses, Aidan, you stretched out?

Yes.Yes.

Okay, you feel good?

CHILDREN: Yes.

Let's do the cone drill.

Nice, I like it, I like it.

Way to hustle.

GIRL: We practice dribbling the ball.

COACH: No hands.

GIRL: It's kind of hard.

COACH: Good work.

GIRL: It helps if you go slow.

Then we practice playing the game.

COACH: Courtney's open.

Yes!

Good dribble.

Goal!

Bye, Joe.

Bye.

Hey.

We better get back to our soccer practice.

All right, team.

Let's huddle up.

It's time for a team talk.

Okay, team, we've played a good game so far.

If we score one more goal, we get our third clue.

[players exclaim]

Are we ready?

PLAYERS: Yes. Yeah.

Great.

Let's go, team.

ALL [chanting]: Let's go, team!

Let's go, team!

Let's go, team!

[blows whistle]

Blue has the ball.

She passes to Purple Kangaroo.

[barks]

Here you go, Orange.

Purple passes to Orange Kitten.

And here comes...

Periwinkle?

I want the ball.

Hey, Periwinkle!

Come back.

It seems that Periwinkle has run off with the ball.

Come back here.

Is he allowed to run away with the ball like that?

Periwinkle, you can't do that.

Do what?

What should I tell him?

Oh, okay.

Thanks.

Periwinkle, you can't run away with the ball,

because we're all playing soccer together.

I want to play with the ball by myself.

But the whole team is playing with it now.

Oh.

I'm sorry I took the ball.

Come on, let's bring the ball back to the game.

Okay, all ready to play together?

[barking]

Here we go.

[blows whistle]

Magenta has the ball.

She passes to Orange Kitten.

Orange passes to Periwinkle.

Back to Orange.

Orange kicks.

Goal!

[players exclaiming]

PERIWINKLE: Great kick.

Great pass, Periwinkle.

What amazing teamwork.

[barks]

Hey, that's our third goal.

[exclaiming]

That means we get our third...

Clue.

[all exclaim]

There it is-- our third clue.

Our third clue is these... circles.

Let's draw the clue in our handy-dandy...

So... circles.

CIRCLES: ♪ We are circles, circles, circles. ♪

♪ Whoa, whoa.

♪ I'm a truck

♪ Vroom, vroom.

♪ And I'm a cone.

CIRCLES: ♪ And we are circles, circles, circles. ♪

♪ Whoa, whoa.

Hi, Circles.

ALL: Now that we're three, what will we be?

We have all three clues

to figure out what we're going to after practice.

You know what that means.

It's time to sit on the...

thinking bench.

Come on.

Ah... perfect.

Well, now that we're on the thinking bench,

let's think.

So our clues are... a truck.

♪ Vroom, vroom.

♪ And I'm a cone.

♪ And we're circles, circles, circles. ♪

♪ Whoa, whoa.

What could you do after soccer practice with us?

♪ Well, maybe I'm a special kind of truck ♪

♪ Vroom, vroom.

♪ Yeah, where you can get me-- a cone. ♪

♪ And scooped on top of the cone ♪

CIRCLES: ♪ Would be circles, circles, circles. ♪

♪ Whoa, whoa.

Then what would you be doing?

Eating ice cream.

♪ That frosty sweet

♪ So good to eat

♪ Fabulous summertime treat.

♪ I scream

♪ You scream

♪ We all scream

♪ For ice cream

♪ Let's eat ice cream.

That's it.

Blue wants us to go to an ice cream truck,

so we can all eat ice cream after soccer practice.

[barks]

We just figured out Blue's Clues!

♪ We sat on down, figured it out ♪

♪ What Blue's clues were all about ♪

♪ Wow, you know what?

♪ We're really smart.

[song ends]

[barking]

Hey, everyone.

We figured out Blue's Clues.

[players exclaiming]

And since we had such a great practice,

and since we got three goals,

do you want to go get ice cream?!

PLAYERS: Yeah! Ice cream!

Great.

Are you ready for ice cream?

Let's go.

There's the ice cream truck.

I'll get yours.

Here you go.

[barking]

Mm, chocolate, my favorite.

I love strawberry ice cream.

Mm, yummy.

[barking]
