I call them wishing sprinkles.

And, uh, Alice.

Howdy, Princess.

I mean...
(clears throat)

It's an honor to meet you,
Princess of Hearts.

-I'm...
-ROSA: The best baker in wonderland.

-I've heard all about you.
-Wow.

Thank you, princess, Your Majesty,
Your Royal Harness.

Call me Rosa.
Are those red chocolate roses?

(gasps)
They're my favorite.

-(wobbling)
-(fluttering)

-(gasps)
-Uh-oh, Alice.

Is this the big surprise?

Here come the wishing sprinkles.

(wobbles)

(all clamor)

(crowd clamoring)

Oh, no. Where's everybody going?

-Rose spades? Everyone inside.
-Wow.

Uh. You're covered in sprinkles.
This is a disaster.

Wait, it's not as messy as it seems.
(chuckles awkwardly)

(grumbles)
I declare this party over.

Over ruined.
(sighs)

Follow suit.

(riffling)

ROSA: Mama, we haven't had cake yet.

Oh, wishing sprinkles
could be pretty surprising, you see.

-FERGIE: Whoa.
-Wow. Hi.

Wait, but what about the princesses...

(splats)

...cake?

(somber music)

-Alice.
-(knocks on door)

-(door opens)
-Oh, I hope she's okay

after what happened
at the palace yesterday.

(door creaks close)

Please tell me
yesterday was all a bad dream.

(meows)

(licks)

Oh, I can't believe I've ruined
princess Rose's birthday.

I have to make it up to her.

But how?

COOKIE: When you wanna make
someone feel better...

(page riffles)

...you bake 'em something.

Cookie, you're right.

I need a recipe.

Oh, I know just the one
you can make for the princess.

Oh, what's it, Doodle Cake or was it pie?

Oh, what's this one?

-(meows)
-Unbirthday Cake?

(gasps)
Hold the stone.

I thought only hatters
celebrated unbirthdays.

-Uh, what's an unbirthday?
-It's hats down the best thing ever.

It's a party on any day
other than your birthday.

But if it's an unbirthday,
what are you supposed to celebrate?

You don't need any reason at all.

With your friends, any day can be special.

A Monday, a Tuesday, a...
The sky is blues-day.

ALICE: "Down or up, make or break.

There's always something
to celebrate with this cake."

Maybe an unbirthday party is
the perfect way to make Rosa feel better.

Ooh, but, but this cake
has more ingredients

than I have brothers and sisters.

(meows)

Where there's whisky, there's a way.

Kitchen, are you with me?

(cheerful music)

♪ Here we go, whisk in hand ♪

♪ This unbirthday thing

just a dollop or two ♪


-(chuckles)
-FERGIE, HATTIE: ♪ Or maybe three ♪

♪ We gotta fix this royal mess
by trying something new ♪

When unbelievable, unbirthday cake.

We just need to add
the last ingredient, Cookie?

"For a buttercream. That's an utter dream.

Use one teacup of..." uh, biscuits.
(chuckles)

What's that say?

ALICE: "One teacup of pineapple powder."

(dings)

Oh, I've never seen
this ingredient before.

And I'm not sure I trust food
that smiles back at me.

It sure looks curious,
but we're following the recipe perfectly.

(sprinkles)

(whisker clinks)

(squelches)

Now all we have to do
is invite the princess.

I've got something up my hat.

Dear Princess, your presence needed
at the Wonderland bakery.

Please arrive at...

-(meows)
-(shushes)

...tea time.

-HATTIE: Psst! Chamomile...
-(squeaks)

(Hattie chuckles)
Wake up, buddy?

Now take this to the Princess.

-(squeaking)
-(chuckles)

Uh, Alice! Where the table go?

What in a wonderland?

Oh, poppet haberdasher! Alice, look.

ALICE: Huh?

-Oh, no, butter cream!
-(meows)

(Alice yelps)
Stop.

(grunts, yelps)

Am I dreaming or did our cake
just do that?

Did I forget an ingredient?

You know, I recall something
like this happens...

(clears throat)
...when your great grandmother

made this recipe.
(chuckles)

How did she fix it?

Well, uh, I forget.
(laughs)

My pages are blank.
(laughs)

-Well, it was a long time ago.
-Then it's up to us to figure it out.

We have to get that cake off the ceiling

or I'll be letting Princess Rosa down...

again.

B-But how?

It's not like we can just bounce right up
to the ceiling and get the cake.

Or maybe we can.

These are dancing Dodo eggs.

I use them once in a pot,

and let's just say
it got the party happening.

-(Alice exclaims)
-(laughing)

Whoa, whoa!

-Too much bouncing!
-(laughing)

Almost got... Whoa!

(yelps)
Whoa!

Hold on to your hat!

(giggling)

(all screaming)

(groans)
Oh, this is a big problem.

The princess will be here any minute.

(breathes heavily)

Then, we need a big solution.
(finger snaps)

We have a few crumbs of tall cake left.

I hope it's enough.

Oh, I can't watch.

Here. It goes.
(munches)

(swallows)

Whoa, Alice.

-FERGIE: Almost there!
-(grunting)

-(meows)
-ALICE: Can you reach it, Dina?

No!

Don't worry, Alice.
I'm sure we'll think of something.

(sighs)

I don't know, Hattie,
I must have really messed up the cake.

Usually, I can't go wrong with
one of my great grandmother's recipes,

but maybe this one just isn't for me.

Uh, what are we gonna tell
the princess when she arrives?

Surprised, there's no party.

-ROSA: Hello?
-(doorbell dings)

Oh, whiskers,
it's like I can hear her now.

Whoa!

Oh, Princess Rosa.
(chuckles awkwardly)

Am I late?

-Uh, late?
-(door creaks close)

Uh, no. We just have a teeny tiny problem.

Things are, um,
up in the air at the moment.

Whatever the problem is, I love to help.

(yelps)

Why is there a cake on the ceiling?
(Rosa chuckles)

Uh... surprised!

Princess, I felt awful when everyone
ran away from your birthday party.

So I wanted to throw you an unbirthday.

But I made a mistake with the recipe

and a messed up cake
doesn't seem worth celebrating at all.

ALICE: I'm sorry.

Hmm, I heart this.

-Really?
-You do?

Of course.

The truth is, all those guests
at my birthday party

were just that, guests.

ROSA: Not friends.

From the bottom of my heart,

friends were all I wanted for my birthday.

And then you did all this for me.

Well, that's what friends do.

-Really? Oh, that makes my heart burst.
-(meows)

Mm, mm.
(sips)

(gasps)
This icing is aces fruity and delicious.

What's in it?

See, butter, willy-nilly-vanilli
and, oh, yes, pineapple powder.

Hold on.

This isn't just pineapple powder.

It's pineapple upside-down powder.

This is part of the recipe.

So, the cake is supposed
to be on the ceiling?

Yep. And so are we.
(chuckles)

Here we go!

-I'm floating!
-Whoo-hoo!

-(Alice giggling)
-(meows)

What do you think?

Mmm. This party definitely
tops my birthday.

Absolutely.

ALICE: There's always something
to celebrate.

HATTIE: Check.

We have sandwiches, muffins, and
what looks like a very fuzzy croissant?

(meows)

(Alice chuckles)

You can help me with the most
important part of our picnic.

Dessert!

Presenting Rainbow Twist.

-Whoa!
-Aces!

It's one of my great grandmother's
most famous recipes.

(laughs)
And it's a good one.

Cold and swirly heaven.

It just needs two drops of sunshine tea
and one piece of rain watermelon.

Now, for the whirly-swirly
and twirly part.

(chuckles)

That was the twirly part.

Whoa!

I've never had a dessert like this before.

Well, oh, there's also
the surprise ending.

It's divine. Absolutely unforgettable.

It's...

Alice, I forget.

(scoffs)
Y-you, tell 'em.

When you scoop the Rainbow Twist,

a rainbow appears in the sky.

One amazingly amazing dessert
by Alice, check.

We're all set to... Ghost!

(laughs)
A ghost?

Where? I only see, uh...

(chuckles)
...me.

-Me?
-You?

-You?
-Yes, me.

(laughs)

Cheshire cat, what are you doing here?

Oh, my whiskers are twitching
for some lunch, and I need your help.

I jotted a few things down.

A few?

W-we'll be late if we make all of this.

It's impossible...
(shrieks)

But there's always the possibility
that the impossible is possible.

(chuckles)
Don't you think?

-(meows)
-Six muffin tops, muffin bottoms,

broccoli bread, extra green

and chocolate cookie chips?

Oh, you mean chocolate chip cookies?

I mean chocolate cookie chips.

(chuckles)
You are one curious cat.

If we all work together,
I'm sure we can make all this in no time.

(chuckles)

-Looks like my kind of party.

Of course, one with lots of guests.

Who else would eat all this food?

Me.
(laughs)

And everyone who is gonna be at my party.

(chuckles)

in Wonderland will be there.

Maybe Cheshire wouldn't mind

The strangest place in wonderland?

(chuckles)

Tulgey Wood also has
the best music wonderland.

It will be the perfect place
to see the rainbow.

(panting)

(croaking, clanking)

(gasps, shrieks)

I come to Tulgey Wood all the time,

and nothing that strange happens.

Eh. Just expect things
to be kind of sort of strange...

Cheshire's party.

-But who are they?
-(Cheshire laughs)

Oh, I'm hilarious. No, you're hilarious.

(laughing)

Cheshire, hello?

(laughing)
Oh, hi, Alice.

Oh, these muffin bottoms are a hit.
Thanks for everything.

I never knew there were
so many Cheshire cats in wonderland.

Neither did I.

But as long as Cheshire
is having fun with his friends,

that's all that matters.

HATTIE: So, let's do the same.

I'm hungrier than a hatter at high tea.

Here we are.

The best view in Wonderland.

(gasps)
What's that?

Tulgey Wood hospitality.

-(panting)
-Thank you.

(grunts, spits)

-Whoa! The entertainment is here too.
-(meows)

-Fergie, Tulgey Wood has it all.
-(hoots)

I guess it's not so bad.

For a meal.

The more friends, the merrier.

Sunshine tea, anyone.

-(pours)
-(sips)

(gasps)

What in Wonderland?

Dina, was that you?
(chuckles)

(meows)

Oh, it was really hoping it was Dina.

Okay. I mean, what would a picnic be
without a floating teacup? Right?

A normal picnic?
(chuckles)

Yes, it would.

But I'm sure it's fine
because we've got muffins

-(pops)
-Popping Hatters! Did you see that?

I did. Right through my muffin?

Oh, something definitely
thumping around here.

So our blueberries poof into thin air.

Nothing else strange
is going to happen. I swear on my hat.

Hattie, your hat.

(slurps, gasps)

Rosa, your hat.
(chuckles)

What hat? I only have a crown.

Whoa. It's gone.

(grunts)
Oh, so is my sandwich?

Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Oh, dear.

We should definitely
get back to the bakery.

Hold on. Fergie, I know things
are a little strange,

but we still haven't had
a Rainbow Twist yet.

Mm, well, I guess it does look delicious.

Oh, I can't resist it now,
it's really a specialty.

Then get ready for the rainbow.

-Holy whiskers!
-Whoa!

-(thuds)
-(shrieks)

-(splats)
-ALICE: Oh, crumbs.

Our Rainbow Twist. It's ruined.

(meows)

ALICE: Huh?

Wait a second.

The eyes, the grin, now paw prints.

I think I know who our mystery guest is.

Come on.

(panting)

Cheshire, is that you?

Um, mostly.

I'm sorry, Alice.

I didn't mean to interrupt your picnic.

What happened to yours?

It looked like you were having
a royal time with everyone.

Oh, about that.

I might have said I was having a party,

but... I wasn't.
(laughs)

That was all me.

So if you weren't having a party,
you were eating alone?

Just me, myself, and I.

The truth is I always eat by myself

as the only Cheshire cat
in wonderland.

It's sort of my thing.
(chuckles)

So why did you wanna comes to our picnic?

Well, when it comes to my picnics,

I'm the entertainment

and the hospitality.

But when I saw your picnic, I felt...

strange.

(laughs)
Stranger than normal.

Whoo-hoo!
(chuckles)

I really wanted to join,
and it made me feel

so much better when I did.

But I can't quite put my pawn. Why?

Sounds like you were lonely.

Me? No.

(laughs)
I'm always alone.

If you don't count my tail.

(laughing)
I'm used to it.

At least I think I am.

You might be
the only Cheshire cat in wonderland,

but that doesn't mean
you never need your friends.

You think so?

I guess I was feeling not myself.
(chuckling)

Sometimes you need a little company.

Meals are meant to be shared
with the people you love.

And that's why Alice always makes enough
to go around and around and around.

(Cheshire whoops, laughs)

Maybe you're right.
Maybe I don't have to dine alone.

Hmm, you sure you don't mind one more?

You're always welcome to eat with us.

Oh, then what do we have for dessert?
One squishy and melted dessert.

Oh, which is all my fault. Oh, I'm sorry.

Well, I suppose
we'll have to enjoy the rainbow twist

-another time.
-Unless we can pull another one

out of our hat for mouse, fork, button,

-bowling ball.
-(meows)

-Nope. No dessert.
-ALICE: Hold on.

I might have enough ingredients.

Cream, berry burst, a little crazy frost
with a drop of sunshine tea.

All we need is rain watermelon.

CHESHIRE: You mean this?

Perfect. Let's whip this up.

(drips)

(clanking)

Who's ready to see the rainbow?

Scooper, please.

Well, here it goes.

-Whoo-hoo!
-Amazing!

(laughs)

(munching)
So good. More, please.

What do you think, Cheshire?

Mmm...
(laughs)

Best dessert that's ever tickled
these whiskers.

But I have to admit you were right, Alice.

Enjoying it with my friends
is what really makes me smile.

(laughs)
